        부산, 경남 일부 지역 주민들의 생선 섭취량과 혈중 수은 농도의 관련성

        Objectives: The objective of this study was to identify the relationship between fish consumption and blood mercury levels in a sample of adult Koreans. Methods: The study subjects were 299 residents of Busan (male: 65, female: 234) and 185 residents of Namhae (male: 69, female: 116), South Korea. Demographic characteristics, current smoking, current drinking, fish consumption per week, past history of amalgam treatment, and residential district were recorded by trained interviewers in June and July, 2009. We considered a portion of fish to be equivalent to 70 gm weight, and calculated amounts of fish consumed per week. Using chi-square tests, t-tests, ANOVA, and multiple linear regression analysis, we estimated the relationships between blood mercury levels and amount of fish consumed per week and other factors. Results: The mean blood mercury level of our subjects was 6.61 ${\mu}g/L$, higher than the criterion defined by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) (5.8 ${\mu}g/L$). In multiple linear regression analysis, residential district and amount of fish consumed per week were associated with blood mercury levels. However, marital status, current drinking, and gender, and age were not associated with blood mercury levels. Conclusions: In conclusion, we suggest the implementation of systematic and periodic population-based studies to decrease the risks of mercury poisoning among South Koreans who consume fish as a regular part of the diet. 본 연구는 직업적으로 수은에 노출되지 않는 일반 인구 군에서 생선 섭취량과 혈중 수은 농도 사이의 관련성을 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 부산광역시 2개 동과 남해군 3개 마을에 거주하는 사람들 중 본 연구 참여에 동의한 484(남자: 134명, 여자: 350명)명을 최종 연구대상으로 하였다. 설문조사는 2009년 6월 말부터 7월초까지 연구 참여 희망자들을 대상으로 훈련된 조사자가 면접설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문 조사의 주요 내용은 성별, 연령, 학력, 결혼상태, 직업, 현재 흡연 여부, 현재 음주 여부, 일주일간 생선 섭취량, 아말감 치료, 거주지역 등이었다. 단변량 분석에서 성별, 나이, 결혼상태, 현재 음주 여부, 일주일간의 생선 섭취량, 그리고 거주지역이 혈중 수은 농도와 유의한 관련성이 있었다. 혈중 수은 농도를 종속 변수로 한 다중선형회귀분석에서 일주일간의 생선 섭취량, 그리고 거주지역이 혈중 수은 농도와 유의한 관련성이 있었다. 생선 섭취량과 혈중 수은 농도 간에는 통계적으로 유의한 관련성이 있다. 앞으로 혈중 수은 농도와 건강 장애간의 관련성을 비롯한 추가적인 연구를 통하여 생선 섭취와 연관된 수은 노출 기준, 실제적인 생선 내 수은 잔류 기준, 생선 섭취빈도와 생선 섭취량에 관한 여러 가지 권고안들을 마련하기 위한 근거 기반을 마련해야 할 것이다.

        디에탄올아민 디티오카바메이트와 트란스-디클로로비스(에틸렌디아민)코발트(Ⅲ)이온의 반응에 대한 속도와 메카니즘

        디에탄올아민 디티오카바메이트는 염화디스클로로비스에틸렌디아민)코발트(III)와 반응하여 [$Co(dtc)_3$](dtc=디에탄올아민 디티오카바메이트)를 생성한다. 이때 두 황원자는 코발트에 배위된다. 이 착물은 아세톤에 어느 정도 녹으나 이황산산소와 같은 비극성 용매에는 거의 녹지 않았다. 디에탄올아민 디티오카바메이트와 염화디스클로로비스에틸렌디아민)코발트(III)의 반응속도를 측정하고 이들 결과에서 얻어진 활성화 파라미터에서부터 가능한 메카니즘을 제시하고자 한다. Diethanolamine dithiocarbamate is known to react with dichlorobis(ethylenediamine)cohalt(Ⅲ) chloride to form [Co(dtc)3](dtc=diethanolamine dithiocarbamate) in which two sulfur atoms of the dithiocarbamate are bound to cobalt. The complex is moderately soluble in acetone, but sparingly soluble in carbon disulfide. Kinetics and mechanisms of the reaction of dichlorobis(ethylenediamine)cobalt(Ⅲ) chloride with diethanolamine dithiocarbamate have been studied in aqueous solution. Activation parameters have been calculated from the kinetic data for the reaction and from these results a possible mechanism for the reaction has been proposed.

        황함유 리간드의 금속착물(II). 디티오카바메이트류의 백금(II) 착물의 합성과 성질

        물에서 [PtCl$_4$]^{2-}$의 백금(II)에 결합된 클로로리간드를 디티오카바메이트로 치환시켜 [Pt(A)], [Pt(B)$_2$]Cl$_2$, [Pt(C)$_2$] 및 [Pt(D)(CH$_2$=CH$_2$)Cl]Cl를 합성하였다. 백금 착물은 원소분석, 적외선 및 자외선-가시광선 스펙트럼과 전도도 측정을 하여 이들의 성질을 조사하였따. 이들 백금(II)의 디티오카바메이트류 착물은 물, 알코올, 디메틸술폭시드 및 티메틸포름아미드와 같은 극성용매에 잘 녹았다. 이들 백금(II) 착물의 원소분석과 물리적 측정결과에서부터 그 가능한 구조를 제시하였다. Reactions of [PtCl$_4$]$^{2-}$ with excess of dithiocarbamates in water lead to facile replacement of the chloro ligand by dithiocarbamato ligand to give [Pt(A)], [Pt(B)$_2$]Cl$_2$, [Pt(C)$_2$], and [Pt(D)(CH$_2$=CH$_2$)Cl]Cl. The complexes of platinum have been characterized by elemental analyses, infrared and UV-visible spectra, and conductivity measurements. Platinum(II)-dithiocarbamate complexes were soluble in polar solvents such as water, alcohol, acetone, dimethylformamide, and dimethylsulfoxide etc. The possible structure was proposed on the basis of elemental analyses and physical properties.

        구강암 세포에서 혈관내피성장인자 수용체-3 억제제의 항종양 효과

        Purpose: Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) plays a key role in tumor angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis including induction of endothelial cell proliferation, migration and capillary tube formation. E7080 (S1164, Selleck chemical, Houston, TX, USA) is a muti-targeted kinase inhibitor, which targets VEGF receptor-2, 3 (VEGFR-2, 3) and inhibits survival and proliferation of tumor cell. The purpose of this study was to determine the anti-tumor effect of E7080 on oral squamous cell carcinoma. Methods: An oral squamous cell carcinoma cell line, SCC-9 was used in this study. E7080 was applied to SCC-9 cells by 3 different concentrations (1, 5, 10 ${\mu}g/mL$). Control means no application of E7080. The cellular growth was evaluated by real-time cell electronic sensing and MTT assay. The signal transduction was evaluated by Western blotting. Results: In experimental group, SCC-9 cell proliferation was decreased and the VEGFR-3 downstream pathways were inhibited compared with control. Furthermore, increasing the concentration of E7080, the ability of E7080 to disturbance of SCC-9 cell proliferation was increased. Conclusion: Proliferation of SCC-9 cells was inhibited by E7080, which was through by inhibition of VEGFR-3 downstream pathway. In vivo study with E7080 will be required to provide therapeutic benefits in oral squamous cell carcinoma.

        피페리딘 디티오카바메이트의 구리(II)의 착물합성과 분석적 응용

        구리(II)이온과 피페리딘 디티오카바메이트(Pipdtc)의 반응에서[$Cu(Pipdtc)_2$]를 합성하였다. 이 착물은 디메틸포름아미드, 디메틸술폭시드의 극성 유기용매에 잘 녹는다. 원소분석, 몰전도도, 적외선 흡수스펙트럼, 전자흡수스펙트럼 및 핵자기공명스펙트럼에서 부터 평면 사각형의 구조를 가짐을 알 수 있었다. 수용액에서 부터 사염화탄소에 의한 Cu(II)-Pipdtc착물의 추출은 pH가 6.0~10범위에서 이루어졌다. 구리(II)의 피페리딘 디티오카바메이트 용액은 pH 9.0에서 ${\sim}8.0{\times}10^{-5}M$까지 Beer의 법칙에 따랐다. Copper(II) complex of piperidine dithiocarbamate (Pipdtc) was synthesized from the reaction of Cu(II) and piperidine dithiocarbamate. The possible structure of the complex was proposed on the basis of elemental analysis, molar conductivity, infrared spectroscopy, electronic absorption spectroscopy, and $^{13}C-NMR$ studies. The extraction of copper(II)-Pipdtc complex by carbon tetrachloride can be achieved in the pH range of 6.0~10. The solution of copper(II) with piperidine dithiocarbamate was bey Beer's law in the concentration up to ${\sim}8.0{\times}10^{-5}M$ at pH 9.0.

        실라스틱(Silastic$^{(R)}$) 배액관을 이용한 간편한 봉합고정 드레싱

        Purpose: Tie-over dressing is widely used to secure skin grafting on face, body, or extremities. It can be a rather complicated task and is not easy to make compressive dressing again if performed in a conventional method. So, we hereby introduce an easy reproducible tie over dressing method. Methods: After completing the skin graft, Cut the silastic drainage longitudinally in half and spread to the grafted skin margin. Drainage is fixed by using the stapes or sutures. A fluffy gauze bolus dressing is placed over a furacin impregnated gauze and wrapped around. After suturing the distal margin of silastics with opposite side using the silk thread either 5 - 0 or 3 - 0, knot of suturing, which is pressed down against the dressing while the threads are tightened, is made into center of each sides. Results: It can make dressing again after observing the grafted skin, and it can also make pressure on the grafted area evenly until the grafted skin is taken. Conclusion: This dressing method makes the surgeons and patients comfortable. To surgeons, it provides more rapid and easier way to do dressing, and to patients, it eliminates pain caused by redressing.

        노인수발보장 제도의 쟁점과 문제점에 관한 고찰

        This study explores several issues around the Proposal of Korean National Long-term Care Insurance for Elders in order to make some suggestions for the incoming proposal. As of July in 2005, Korean government launched the demonstration project of National long-term care insurance based on the 2004 national LTC proposal by the National Committee on Long-term care for elders. The proposal, however, still has some controversial issues needed to further discuss around. In the first section, this article summarizes and explores the 2004 LTC proposal on long-term care for elders. In particular, this study look into the principles, funding methods, the way to enhance infrastructure and a screening system. Next section this study discusses the weakness and strength of alternatives on the funding methods. The study founds that there are still controversy about that a social insurance system fits for public long-term care for elders. The study also discusses the implication of the national LTC proposal to the professional fields of nursing, social work, and alternative medicine. The study also discusses the additional factors to be considered in the coming LTC proposal such as ideology, the role of local government and care management of the antional LTC policy. These key issues are ignored or lightly considered in the current LTC proposal. For better-designed LTC policy, several issues mentioned in this study should be re-considered with various feasible alternatives.

        온라인 기반 낙태 이슈 변화 분석

        본 연구는 온라인상의 낙태 관련 이슈를 텍스트 마이닝 분석 기법으로 분석하였다. 분석 대상은 네이버 뉴스와 댓글이며, 분석 기간은 2011년 1월부터 2017년 11월까지이다. 주요 문제로는 낙태에 대한 인식 주체와 주요 사안, 그 외 주요 이슈에 대한 대응을 분석하고자 했다. 분석 결과, 뉴스의 경우 전반적으로 낙태에 대한 반대 관점이 많았으며, 초기에는 생명존중과 전통적인 가족주의 입장이 주였다면 최근은 낙태죄 폐지 국민청원과 여성단체의 낙태죄 폐지 활동이 주목받으면서 이들의 입장이 대변되고 있었다. 그러나 댓글의 경우 전반적으로 낙태는 살인이라는 입장이 많았으며, 초기는 뉴스와 같은 메시지가 댓글에서도 나타났지만, 최근의 경우 군대 문제나 동성애 등이 낙태 문제에서 함께 나타나고 있어 남성의 역차별 제기나 낙태 이슈가 전반적인 여성의 권리 증진 문제로 인식하여 부정적인 견해가 많았다. 즉 낙태죄 폐지 이슈를 양성 갈등의 문제로 댓글에서 대응하고 있어 정치 사회적 갈등 해소를 위한 노력이 필요하다. This study analyzed the online abortion - related issues by text mining analysis technique. The analysis target is Naver News and Comments, and the analysis period is from January 2011 to November 2017. The major problems were to analyze the responses to abortion awareness, and other major issues. As a result of the analysis, in the case of news, there were many views against abortion as a whole. In the early days, respect for life and traditional family stance was central. Recently, the abolition of the abortion crime and the abolition of abortion by the women s organizations have received much attention. However, in the case of comments, abortion was generally regarded as murder. Initially, messages similar to news appeared in comments. In recent years, military problems and homosexuality have appeared together in the abortion problem, and there were many negative views on men s discrimination and abortion issues as a general problem of women s rights promotion. In other words, the issue of abolition of abortion is responded to by the issue of positive conflict, so efforts to resolve political and social conflicts are needed in the future.
