        하지정맥류 치료를 위한 경화요법의 경험

        Sclerotherapy has been demonstrated as an effective and minimally invasive procedure for varicose veins of the lower limbs, which can be performed on an out-patient basis. Between March 2000 and August 2001, we reviewed 138 patients who had been diagnosed as chronic venous disease in our hospital, and treated and evaluated a total of 32 limbs in 21 patients with primary varicose veins. There were 18 women and 3 men whose age was ranging from 31 to 55 years old, with a mean of 41.7 years. Eleven of 21 patients had bilateral involvement of lower extremity. Sclerodex(Sclerosant) was administered for telangiectasia less than 1mm and reticular vein less than 4mm, and Thromboject(Sodium Tetradecyl Sulfate) was for reticular vein more than 4mm. Two types of operations were stripping of saphenous vein (6 cases) and high ligation (18 cases). All patients were cosmetically satisfied with the results. Minor complications after injection such as 7 cases (21.9%) of erythema, 5 cases(15.6%)of bullae, 4 cases (12.5%)of thrombosis were occurred. However, no permanent change such as skin necrosis and pigmentation were appeared. Systemic responses such as dizziness or sweating were not observed in anyone. Sclerotherapy should improve both the safety and efficacy of the treatment of varicose vein. Our study suggests that the careful evaluation before planning the treatment of varicose vein is important for exact choice of patients and proper results.

        푸드마일을 고려한 주요수입곡물의 운송단계별 환경영향 및 저감방안 분석

        Transportation and storage technologies, which are key drivers for trade, has increased global trade of agricultural products about 165% from 1995 to 2015. Korea imports 76.2% of grain from major food exporters such as USA, Australia, Brazil, and China. The expected long shipping distances from these countries can seriously cause environmental impacts on various environmental categories such as climate change, particulate matter, and acidification. The goal of this study is to assess the environmental implications focused on greenhouse gases (GHGs) and particulate matters (PMs) emissions of imported grains (wheat, corn, and bean) using food miles analysis and life cycle assessment (LCA). The environmental impacts of imported crops are estimated by transportation modes using the national LCI database provided by Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI). The results of this study are as follows; (1) Imported wheat comes from USA (29%), AUS (27%), and URK (20%), corn is imported from USA (34%), BRA (29%), and URK (16%), and bean comes from BRA (57%), USA (40%), and CHN (2%); (2) the food miles of imported crops (wheat, corn, and bean) are 3.62E+10, 1.30E+11, and $2.20E+10ton{\cdot}km$, respectively; (3) the potential GHGs and PMs of wheat, corn, and bean are 5.02E+08, 1.67E+09, and 2.84E+08 kg $CO_2e$ and 5.89E+05, 1.83E+06, 3.07E+05 kg $PM_{10}e$, respectively. The outputs of this study could provide environmental impacts and carrying distances of imported agricultural products for preparing a plan to reduce environmental impacts.

        촛불 집회와 태극기 집회를 둘러싼 정국 인식: 온라인 뉴스 댓글에 대한 빅데이터 분석

        This study analyzed the major issues of the Candlelight Rally and Taegukgi Rally registered in news comments of the politics section of the portal site from October 24, 2016 to March 19, 2017. We examined the political recognition of the two rallies with the Named Entity Recognition. The main analytical items are the responsibility for impeachment, the subject and method of settlement, and other major issues. As a result of the analysis, the comments of the Candlelight Rally focused on the impeachment support and the legal penalties of the regime ministers, and insisted on resolving the political situation through the next election after impeachment. The comments of the Taegukgi Rally focused on the rejection of the impeachment to maintain the regime and insisted on rejecting the impeachment of the Constitutional Court. The conflicts between the group that supported Candlelight Rallis and the group that supported Taegukgi rallies are predicted to last at least for the time being (Park Geun-hye's trial period) after the presidential election. After the impeachment of the President and replacement of the regime this conflict will develop into the confrontation between the pursuit of liquidation and new politics and the attempt to influence the trial of Park Geun-hye. Therefore, the efforts to integrate society in the aftermath are necessary. 본 연구는 2016년 10월 24일부터 2017년 3월 19일까지 촛불 집회 기간 포털사이트 정치 섹션에 등록된 촛불 집회와 태극기 집회 관련 뉴스의 댓글을 대상으로 주요 이슈를 개체명 인식기를 이용해 분석하여 두 집회에 대한 정국 인식을 살펴보았다. 주요 분석 항목은 탄핵의 책임 소재, 정국 해결의 주체와 방법, 그 외 주요 이슈를 중심으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 촛불 집회 기사의 댓글에서는 탄핵 지지와 정권 부역자의 법적 처벌에 대해 집중하고 있었으며, 탄핵 후 차기 대선을 통한 정국 해결을 주장했다. 태극기 집회 기사의 댓글에서는 정권 유지를 위한 탄핵 기각에 대해 집중하고 있었고, 헌법재판소의 탄핵 기각을 주장하였다. 이를 통해 볼 때, 촛불 집회나 태극기 집회의 각 입장을 지지했던 집단들 간의 갈등은 대선 이후 적어도 당분간(박근혜 재판 기간) 지속할 것으로 보인다. 이 갈등은 탄핵과 정권 교체 후 청산과 새 정치를 추구하는 입장과 박근혜 대통령 재판에 영향을 미치려는 입장의 대립으로 전개될 것이다. 따라서 이후 정국에서는 사회 통합을 위한 노력이 필요하다.

        구강암 세포에서 혈관내피성장인자 수용체-3 억제제의 항종양 효과

        Purpose: Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) plays a key role in tumor angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis including induction of endothelial cell proliferation, migration and capillary tube formation. E7080 (S1164, Selleck chemical, Houston, TX, USA) is a muti-targeted kinase inhibitor, which targets VEGF receptor-2, 3 (VEGFR-2, 3) and inhibits survival and proliferation of tumor cell. The purpose of this study was to determine the anti-tumor effect of E7080 on oral squamous cell carcinoma. Methods: An oral squamous cell carcinoma cell line, SCC-9 was used in this study. E7080 was applied to SCC-9 cells by 3 different concentrations (1, 5, 10 ${\mu}g/mL$). Control means no application of E7080. The cellular growth was evaluated by real-time cell electronic sensing and MTT assay. The signal transduction was evaluated by Western blotting. Results: In experimental group, SCC-9 cell proliferation was decreased and the VEGFR-3 downstream pathways were inhibited compared with control. Furthermore, increasing the concentration of E7080, the ability of E7080 to disturbance of SCC-9 cell proliferation was increased. Conclusion: Proliferation of SCC-9 cells was inhibited by E7080, which was through by inhibition of VEGFR-3 downstream pathway. In vivo study with E7080 will be required to provide therapeutic benefits in oral squamous cell carcinoma.

        행정기관의 세종시 이전이 정책결정의 질에 미치는 효과

        본 연구의 목적은 중앙부처의 세종시 이전이 정책결정의 질에 미치는 효과를 분석하는 것이다. 기존연구에서 제시한 3가지 이론(지리적 근접성, 시간압박하의 의사결정, 집단토론)을 바탕으로 효과를 측정하였다. 이를 위해 10개 중앙부처 254명의 공무원에 대한 설문조사 결과를 활용하였다. 세종시로 이전한 6개 부처와 잔류한 4개 부처의 DID 분석결과 두 가지 특징을 발견하였다. 첫째, 대면접촉의 기회와 집단토론 기회 감소는 정책결정의 질에 부정적 효과를 미쳤다. 둘째, 세종시 이전으로 인한 효과는 직급과 업무성격 및 거주지에 따라 차이가 있었다. 따라서 향후 정책에서는 대면접촉과 집단토론의 기회를 높이면서도 직급과 업무성격을 고려한 대안을 마련할 필요가 있음을 확인하였다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of central government 's transfering into Sejong City on the quality of policy decisions. The effects were measured based on the three theories (geographical proximity, decision making under time pressure, and group discussion) presented in previous studies. For this purpose, we used the survey results of 254 public officials in 10 central government departments. Using DID analysis We found two major results. First, the opportunities for face-to-face contact and the reduction of group discussion opportunities have had a negative impact on the quality of policy decisions. Second, the effect of relocation of Sejong city was different according to the rank, the work personality and residence. Therefore, in the future policy, it is necessary to prepare an alternative considering the position and the work personality with increasing the opportunity of face-to-face contact and group discussion.

        실내 및 실외 사육에 따른 두드럭조개 (Lamprotula coreana) 의 성장특성

        This study surveyed endangered species, Lamprotula coreana, growth and survival rate by indoor . reared (IDR) and outdoor . reared (ODR). We measured shell length, height, width, weight every month and surveyed water condition everyday from February to November 2015. To assess the growth, calculate growth rate (GR), daily growth rate (DGR), specific growth rate (SGR), weight gain (WG), daily weight gain (DWG), specific weight gain (SWG). As a result, Initial shell length is 71.00 ± 3.37 mm IDR and 88.53 ± 5.63 mm ODR. Final shell length is 78.54 ± 3.60 IDR mm and 92.53 ± 4.92 mm ODR. Initial total weight is 103.67 ± 17.99 g IDR and 203.78 ± 30.61 g ODR. Final total weight is 138.43 ± 19.79 g IDR and 232.95 ± 31.82 g ODR. GR, DGR, SGR, WG, DWG, SWG are significantly different with IDR and ODR (P < 0.05). IDR is significantly higher than ODR and I presume it is because of the fed and water temperature. SR is over 92% for both of them and it is possible to reared indoor and outdoor. Recently, river construction work and environmental change have caused negative impact on the distribution of L. coreana. The result of this study would provide fundamental data for management and species preservation of L. coreana.
