소나무 잎과 가지의 정유와 그 성분들의 항산화 및 항노화 작용

To investigate effects of pine essential oil isolated by steam distillation from Pinus densiflora needles (PN) and twigs (PT) on anti-oxidant and anti-aging activities, the experiments were carried out to determine anti-oxidant and antiaging activities on DPPH radical scavenging activity, NBT/xanthine oxidase-superoxide scavenging activity, silica-induced intracellular H2O2 and hydroxyl radical generation in RAW264.7 cells, hyaluronidase and elastase activities in vitro. Essential oil of PN and PT were contained 0.225 and 0.176 (w/v) %, respectively. PN was contained with 30 kinds of essential oil and its major constituent is α-pinene (21.5%). Further PT was contained with 40 kinds of essential oil and its major constituent is β-pinene (22.4%) in GC/MS assay. Other essential oils of PN were β-pinene, camphene, myrcene, limonene, terpinolene, α-terpineol, bornyl acetate, α-copaene, caryophellene and humulene and PT were α-pinene, camphene, phellandrene, limonene, terpinolene, α-terpineol, bornyl acetate, α-copaene, caryophellene and humulene. The essential oil of PT have more active than that of PN in anti-oxidant activity which has significant DPPH radical and superoxide scavenging activity, and significant inhibitory activities on silica-induced intracellular H2O2 and hydroxyl radical generation, as well as, significantly inhibited elastase and hyaluronidase activities. Further, phellandrene, myrcene and α-pinene have DPPH radical and superoxide scavenging activities, β-pinene, terpinolene, myrcene and phellandrene inhibited silica-induced intracellular H2O2 and hydroxyl radical generations. And also phellandrene and β-pinene inhibited hyaluronidase and elastase activities. In conclusion, the essential oils isolated from PN and PT have anti-oxidant and anti-aging activities.
발의 안정성에 있어 균형 증진을 위한 능동적, 수동적 중재 비교

The purpose of this study is to compare the static and dynamic stability of the two groups by applying active and passive interventions to the normal persons. Forty male college students who had no abnormalities in the lower extremity musculoskeletal system participated voluntarily. They participated in 20 active interventions and 20 in passive interventions. For this purpose, short foot exercise(SFE) was performed with active intervention for intrinsic muscle contraction and low dye taping with passive intervention. The stability was verified using both static and dynamic stability test. To examine the static stability, the distance and range of the center of pressure(COP) were calculated using the ground reaction force on the force plate(AMTI ,Newton, MA, USA). A star excursion balance test(SEBT) was performed for dynamic stability test. The results showed that the short foot exercise, which is an active intervention, has increased stability in the range and distance of center of pressure movement on the foot. In contrast, taping, a passive mediator, showed increased dynamic stability. However, there was no significant differences in the comparison between active and passive intervention.
유선형 후방 밸런스 신발이 퇴행성 슬관절염 환자의 대퇴사두근 근력에 미치는 효과

The purpose of this study was to assess 1)the effectiveness of the curved rear balance shoes in reducing knee pain in patients with knee osteoarthritis(OA) and 2)changes in EMG signal and strength of quadriceps muscle and physical function(ability to react instantly) compared with normal shoes for 8 weeks. The research design was a randomized controlled trial(24 female, knee OA grades Ⅱ-Ⅲ of radiographic evaluation). Subjects were randomized to curved rear balance shoes(n=14) or normal shoes(n=10). The mean IEMG, WOMAC(Korean Western-Ontario & Mcmaster) index questionnaire, peak torque with isometric training system at 90°/s, 150°/s and ability to react instantly were quantified at week 0 and after week 8. Paired t-test(for IEMG) and Repeated measurement design were done for between-group comparison(a=.05). There was a significant increase in average IEMG for quadriceps muscle in the curved rear balance shoes compared with normal shoes. There was an increase of average peak torque but no significant increase in muscle strength over the 8 wks. A knee pain and stiffness in knee after 8 weeks in the curved rear balance shoes was significantly reduced(p<.05). The ability to react instantly was increased but it’s not significant statistically. This result shows that wearing the curved rear balance shoes for 8 wks can reduce pain but it doesn"t make people who suffer from knee OA increase quadriceps for muscle strengthen.

본 연구의 목적은 직립 자세에서 눈을 감고, 뜨는 조건으로 좌우, 전후 방향에서의 압력중심점의 주파수 분석값을 비교하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 근골격계에 이상이 없는 15명의 피험자가 실험에 참가하였으며 피험자에게 무작위로 눈을 감고 뜨는 조건을 제시하였다. 피험자가 지면반력기 위에 서 있는 동안 300초 동안의 압력 중심이 측정되었으며 도출된 압력 중심 분포는 좌우, 전후 방향에서 Matlab 7.0을 이용하여 FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) 계산이 이루어졌다. 눈을 떴을 때보다는 눈을 감았을 때와 좌우방향보다는 전후 방향에서 낮은 주파수 영역대에서 통계적으로 큰 값을 나타내어 자세 조절이 떨어지는 것으로 확인되었다. 균형력 증가를 위한 자세 조절이나 보행 훈련 시 시각적 조건의 변화와 함께 전후 방향에서의 균형 제어 훈련이 이루어져야 하는 것으로 사료된다.
Effects of Arch-supported Midsoles on Foot Pressure and Pain Variations in Meniscus Injury Patients

본 연구의 목적은 arch 지지형 중창(midsole) 신발과 일반 midsole 신발을 반월판 연골 손상환자에게 착용하게 한 후 족저압 측정의 비교 분석과 신발 착용 전과 8주 후의 통증 정도를 비교하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 외측 반월판 손상 환자 6명이 선정되었으며, 유선형 후방 밸런스 신발의 내측에 중창을 삽입하고, 압력분포 측정기(F-Scan, Tekscan, USA)를 이용한 족저압 측정, KWOMAC을 이용한 통증 변화가 조사되었다. 족저압의 측정에 있어 arch 지지형 중창이 있는 신발에서 arch 부분의 접촉 면적과 압력이 높게 나타났다. 통증에 있어서 일상생활에서 걸을 때와 똑바로 서 있을 때 arch 지지형 중창이 삽입된 신발은 중창이 없는 신발에 비해 통증 감소의 효과를 나타내었다.

본 연구는 43세 남성 환자의 관절가동술과 슬링을 이용한 유착성 관절낭염 환자의 치료사례를 조사하여 그 과정과 결과를 알아보고자 하였다. 어깨통증장애지수(shoulder pain and disability index) 측정과 어깨관절의 굽힘(flexion), 벌림(abduction), 바깥돌림(external rotation), 안쪽돌림(internal rotation)에 대한 관절가동범위를 측정하여 비교하였으며 견관절 주위에 비스테로이드 소염진통 주사 1회, 약물치료를 병행하며 주 3회 8주간 보존적인 물리치료인 온습포(hot pack)와 간섭파(ICT), 관절가동술, 그리고 슬링을 이용한 운동치료를 실시하였다. 결과는 관절가동술과 슬링운동치료의 적용이 유착성 관절낭염 환자의 통증을 줄이고 관절가동범위를 증진시키는데 효과가 있는 것으로 판단된다.
