        Study on Current State and Design Characteristics of the Domestic Commercial Spatial "Planterior"

        Background and objective: With rapid urbanization, the introduction of plants in interior environments has become an essential factor owing to insufficient green areas and increased indoor living hours. In commercial spaces, the "planterior" can play an important role in spatial branding and marketing. With recent changes in lifestyle, including those induced by the COVID-19 pandemic, the introduction of plants into indoor spaces has increased. This study aimed to analyze the current status and design characteristics of domestic commercial spaces and propose a future interior design direction for development. Methods: Eighty-eight case sites of domestic commercial spaces were selected nationwide to analyze the design characteristics and current status of planteriors. The basic status of the case sites was investigated, and the bestcase site was selected based on an assessment of the landscape's excellence and topicality. Results: Most commercial spaces selected as planterior case sites were located in the metropolitan area and were large cafés. Most places were built within the last year, with natural styles that use more plants than that required by the space, and accounted for the highest percentage by utilizing the direct method of fresh flowers. In most cases, excellent planterior landscapes were created, and more than 85% of the cases were found to have high online exposure, indicating that the planterior of a commercial space was effectively used as a marketing element. The design characteristics of the commercial space planterior analyzed as the bestcase site were topicality, simplicity, leadership, and unexpectedness, which was required for the space design due to the branding. These design characteristics were found to have a synergistic effect with the maintenance of plants. Conclusion: Overall, this study confirmed that the creation of planteriors in various types of commercial spaces plays an important role in spatial branding and marketing functions, and enables potential continuous development for the space design using plants. To continuously expand and develop planteriors in the future, a multilateral plant interior design study from the perspective of design, plants, and users is needed.

        고등학교 가정과 메이커 교육 프로그램 개발과 평가: ‘한복과 창의적인 의생활’ 내용 요소를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study was to suggest valuable maker education programs by implementing and evaluating a Home Economics(HE) maker education program developed based on the content of "Hanbok and Creative Clothing" for high school students. The results of this study are as follows. First, the HE maker education model for high school students was designed and developed. The HE maker education model was developed by integrating and modifying the TMSI model of the maker education model and Laster’s HE practical action teaching model. The HE maker education model consisted of 4 steps: tinkering(T: 4-hour class), practical reasoning(P: 3-hour class), making together(M: 4-hour class), and sharing and spreading(S: 1-hour class) with a total of 12-hour lesson plans. The theme of the developed HE maker program is 'Practice and spread of creative traditional culture of life (Hanbok)'. Second, the results of online survey of 240 high school students who participated in this maker class showed that HE maker class had positive effects in the order of experiential(4.26), cognitive(4.22), emotional(4.18), social(4.18), and practical(4.10). It is expected that the findings of this study will contribute to diversifying the curriculum of Home Economics, thereby improving the quality of Home Economics Education.

        전통 생활 문화 교육을 위한 스토리텔링 기반 메이커 교육 프로그램 개발: 전통 문양과 오방색을 중심으로

        The purpose of this research was to develop the education program on traditional living culture for home economics(HE) based on the 2015 revised national curriculum. The existing school curriculum for traditional living culture tends to overly focus on the theories about traditional culture and suffer from absence of continuity in learning activities. It can be argued that HE is an ideal subject for dealing with traditional living culture as it aims to develop students’ ability to recreate the traditional culture, meeting present needs and trends. This study, thus, attempted to present the practical ways of improving the quality of education on traditional living culture by developing HE education program for high school students. To fulfill the purpose, this research, as a teaching topic, selected the traditional patterns and the “Obangsaek”(Korean traditional five colors) which can commonly be dealt with in the subjects of traditional Korean food, Korean costume and Korean style house. In particular, the program was developed following the ADDE process. In the stage of analysis, this article analyzed the HE curriculum and making activities included in HE textbooks based on the 2015 revised national curriculum, as well as the needs of teachers and students regarding traditional living culture education. In the stage of design, this study developed the instructional model, selecting class topics, tools and materials. In the stage of development, the programs on traditional living culture including costume, food and house were developed. In the evaluation phase, this research conducted the validity test and received the feedbacks from 12 HE educators in order to complete the programs. This study finally suggested that future studies in this area examine the effect of the presented programs on enhancing the students’ perception of traditional culture and the will of developing and succeeding the traditional living culture. 본 연구는 2015 개정 고등학교 가정과 교육과정에 적용할 수 있는 전통 생활 문화 교육 프로그램을 개발해 제안하는 것이다. 가정 교과는 전통 생활 문화를 교과 내용으로 다루고 있으며, 현대생활에 적합한 새로운 문화를 재창조할 수 있는 능력을 함양하는것에 목적을 둔다. 기존 학교에서의 전통 생활 문화 교육은 이론 교육 위주 혹은 일회성의 체험 위주의 교육이 이루어져 왔다. 또한 주로 초등학생과 중학생 대상의 프로그램이 개발되어, 고등학생을 위한 프로그램은 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는고등학생을 위한 가정과 프로그램을 개발해 전통 문화 교육의 발전적 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한식, 한복, 한옥에공통적으로 다룰 수 있는 전통 문양과 오방색을 전통 생활 문화 교육 주제로 선정하고, ADDE의 단계를 따라 전통 생활 문화교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 분석 단계에서는 2015 개정 고등학교 가정과 교육과정과 12종 가정 교과서의 만들기 활동, 교사와학습자의 생활 문화 교육에 대한 경험과 요구를 분석하였다. 설계 단계에서는 프로그램 개발을 위한 스토리텔링 기반 메이커교육 모형 설계와 수업 주제 도출, 만들기 활동, 메이커 도구와 재료를 선정하였다. 개발 단계에서는 전통 의⋅식⋅주 생활문화 교육을 위한 프로그램을 개발하였다. 평가 단계에서는 가정과 교육 전문가 12명을 대상으로 타당도 검사 및 피드백을받아 수정하여 프로그램을 완성하였다. 추후 연구로 이 프로그램을 적용해 학생들의 전통 생활 문화에 관한 인식과 전통 생활문화의 발전과 계승 의지 등의 효과를 살펴보는 연구를 제언한다.

        대학생의 봉사참여와 봉사태도 간 관계에서 봉사관계자 지지의 조절 효과

        봉사활동의 단순한 참여 유도를 넘어, 봉사 참여자가 실제 봉사활동경험을 긍정적으로 받아들이고 인식하게 하는 요인에 대한 이해가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 대학생이 봉사활동 참여 중 현장에서 지각한 관계자들로부터의 사회적 지지(정서적 지지, 정보적 지지, 평가적 지지)가 봉사참여 정도와 봉사에 대한 긍정적 참여태도 간 관계에서 갖는 조절효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 봉사활동 참여 경험이 있는 서울, 경북, 충북, 충남, 인천 소재 대학교 학생 185명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 회귀분석 결과, 봉사관계자가 보이는 정서적 지지가 높은 경우, 대학생의 봉사활동 참여 정도와 봉사활동에 대한 긍정적 태도가 정적인 관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 봉사관계자의 평가적 지지를 높게 지각한 경우는 낮게 지각한 경우에 비해 항상 높은 수준의 봉사태도를 가졌으며, 봉사관계자의 정보적 지지는 대학생의 봉사활동 태도와 유의한 관계를 가지지 않았다. 이러한 연구결과는 지지의 내용에 따라 그 영향이 달라지며, 봉사활동을 하며 마주하는 봉사관계자들이 제공하는 사회적 지지가 그 종류에 따라 봉사활동참여에 따른 봉사태도 함양 정도를 다르게 조절할 수 있음을 보여준다. This study examined the relation between students’ participation in and attitudes toward volunteering work, and tested whether the relationship was moderated by different social support, (i.e., emotional, informational and appraisal) that participants perceived from their volunteer sites. After the regression analysis on the responses from 185 university students, the results indicate that only when students perceived high emotional social support at their volunteer sites, was the relation between volunteering participation level and attitude positive, meaning a positive relationship was not significant when students perceived low emotional support. Meanwhile, students who perceived high appraisal social support at their volunteer sites always had more positive attitudes toward their volunteering experiences compared to those who perceived low appraisal support. The informational support, however, was not significant in influencing on students’ positive attitudes toward volunteering work. This illustrates how social support from the people they meet while practicing volunteerism can affect the relation between students’ participation in and attitudes toward volunteerism. Furthermore, the finding from this study that there is different moderation effects according to the specific types of social support provides implications that can be reflected in volunteer sites for meaningful, beneficial and long lasting volunteering work. The results align well with symbolic interactionism. In addition to the implications for future practice, discussion points and some limitations of this study were presented along with suggestions for further studies.

        Characterization of Brassica rapa S-adenosyl-L-methionine Synthetase Gene Including Its Roles in Biosynthesis Pathway

        A full length cDNA encoding the SAM synthetase gene was isolated from Chinese cabbage by RT-PCR and contains a 1,182 bp open reading frame encoding a putative 393 amino acid protein. This cDNA insert was subcloned into the pET15b vector to evaluate the expression and further characterize the SAMS gene. Recombinant SAMS was also generated in BL21 cells and showed a molecular weight of about 43 kDa. To elucidate the function of SAMS in the Chinese cabbage, overexpression and RNAi vectors for this gene were constructed and introduced into tobacco plants. For overexpression, the CaMV 35S promoter was introduced into the binary vector pBI121 and the full-length SAMS gene was subcloned into the resulting pCSAMS vector. To suppress SAMS, forward and reverse fragments from its ORF of 519 bp length was introduced into the RNAi vector, pJJSAMS. SAMS gene functions were subsequently evaluated by the phenotypic variation analysis and by observing the upregulation and/or downregulation of the ethylene and polyamine biosynthesis genes, 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate synthase (ACS) and spermidine synthase (SPDS) in transgenic tobacco plants. The results of these experiments suggest that SAMS regulates ethylene and polyamine biosynthesis, at least in part, at the transcriptional level.

        Mg가 첨가된 Zn_(1-x)Mg_(x)O 세라믹의 유전적, 광학적 특성

        Zn_(1-x)Mg_(x)O (x = 0.02, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08, 0.1, 0.2) ceramics were synthesized using the traditional solid state reaction method. The dielectric and the optical properties of the ceramics with various Mg contents were investigated. The X-ray diffraction profile showed a wurtzite structure, and the particle size decreased as the Mg content was increased. Furthermore, the Zn_(1-x)Mg_(x)O ceramics showed a more then 60 % higher optical transparency in the visible region, and an absorption edge shift was abserved at short wave lengths, indicating a band-gap expansion. From the dielectric properties of the Zn_(1-x)Mg_(x)O ceramics, we found that the phase transition temperature and the dielectric constant decreased with increasing Mg content. 고상반응법을 사용하여 Zn_(1-x)Mg_(x)O(x = 0.02, 0.04, 0.06,0.08, 0.1, 0.2) 세라믹을 제작하고 Mg 첨가량에 따른 각 세라믹의유전적, 광학적 특성을 조사하였다. X-ray diffraction 측정 결과Zn_(1-x)Mg_(x)O 세라믹이 wurtzite 구조를 가지고 있음을 확인할 수있었으며, Mg 함량이 증가할수록 입자의 크기는 감소하였다. 각 세라믹의투과율 측정에서는 가시광 영역에서 모두 60%이상의 투과율을 보였고Mg의 양이 증가함에 따라 흡수단이 단파장으로 이동하며 밴드 갭에너지가 증가하였다. Zn_(1-x)Mg_(x)O 세라믹의 유전특성은 Mg 첨가량의 증가에 따라 상전이 온도와 유전상수가 감소함을 관찰하였다.

        중등 가정교과에서의 실천적 문제 중심 죽음준비교육 방안

        Death preparation education is not only preparing for future death but also for happier and meaningful life. Death is a persistent problem faced by all human beings and can be found in connection with the Home Economics(HE) curriculum in that it is a contextual practical problem of individuals and their society. The purpose of the study is to develop the practical problem-based death preparation education teaching-learning plans that can be applied to middle and high school HE subject. As a result of the study, the HE death preparation education program was developed. The program name is ‘Death Preparation Education for the Happy Life of Me and Family’. Also, 12 practical problems and the 4 teaching-learning plans were developed. This study is expected to be used as educational materials to allow middle and high school students to take death naturally in their lives and to practice meaningful everyday life for worthy death during the HE classes. As a follow-up study, we propose a study to examine the needs of death preparation education in HE curriculum and to verify the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process of death preparation education in HE class. 죽음준비교육은 단순히 미래의 죽음을 준비하는 것만이 아니라 더 행복하고 의미있는 삶을 위한 교육이다. 죽음은 인간이라면 누구나 직면하는 항구적 문제이며 개인의 가치관과 자신이 속한 사회에 따른 맥락적인 실천적 문제라는 점에서 가정 교과와의 연결고리를찾을 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 중・고등학교 가정교과에서 적용할 수 있는 실천적 문제 중심의 죽음준비교육 프로그램을 ADDE모형에 따라서 개발하는데 있다. 연구결과 ‘나와 가족의 행복한 삶을 위한 죽음준비교육’ 프로그램이 개발되었으며, 프로그램은 12가지의실천적 문제와 중・고등학교 학교 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 죽음준비교육 교수・학습 과정안을 포함하고 있다. 가정과 죽음준비교육프로그램이 가정과 수업에서 청소년이 죽음을 자신의 삶에 자연스럽게 받아들여 가치 있는 죽음을 위한 의미 있는 일상의 삶을 실천하게 하는 교육 자료로 활용되길 기대한다. 후속 연구로 가정교과에서의 죽음준비교육에 대한 학생들의 요구도 조사와 현장에서 교수・학습 과정안을 실행하여 효과를 검증하는 연구를 제언하는 바이다.

        한국산 및 중국산 비자 열매의 항산화 활성과 유효성분 비교

        To evaluate the antioxidant activities of Korean and Chinese Torreya seeds, their total phenolic compound content, total flavonoid content, DPPH radical and ONOO-scavenging activities were compared using their water and methanol extracts. The effective compounds were identified and quantitatively analyzed by GC-MS. The DPPH and ONOO-scavenging activities were the highest in the Korean Torreya seeds. After using GC-MS to identify the active compounds, a total of eight compounds were identified in Korean Torreya seeds, and five compounds were found in Chinese Torreya seeds. In conclusion, we could confirm the antioxidant activity and the difference between active compounds of the Korean and Chinese Torreya seeds; we also confirmed the superiority of Korean Torreya seeds. Futhermore, this basic data about the Korean and Chinese Torreya seeds can be provided to consumers, so that they can select proper and suitable functional foods.

        Terra MODIS 위성영상과 SWAT 모형을 이용한 융설이 충주댐 유입량에 미치는 영향 평가

        본 연구에서는 충주댐 유역($6,642.0km^2$)을 대상으로 Terra MODIS (Moderate-Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer) 위성영상과 SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) 모형을 이용하여 융설이 댐유입량에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. SWAT 모형의 융설 매개변수인 적설면적 감소곡선(Snow Cover Depletion Curve; SCDC)을 결정하기 위해 10 sets (2000-2010)의 Terra MODIS 위성영상으로부터 추출한 적설분포도와 지상 강설자료를 이용하여 구축한 적설심분포도(snow depth distribution; SDD)를 도출한 결과, 50% 적설면적일 때의 적설면적감소계수(sno50cov)는 0.4~0.7의 범위를 가지는 것으로 분석되었다. 매년의 융설 매개변수를 적용하여 융설기간 (11~4월)동안의 유출을 보정한 결과 평균 $R^2$는 0.54이었다. 10년 동안 융설기간의 유출량은 평균 104.3 mm로 연 유출량의 12.0%를 차지하는 것으로 분석되었다. This study is to evaluate the snowmelt impact on dam inflow for the Chungju Dam watershed $6,642.0km^2$ using Terra MODIS (Moderate-Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer) and Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT). To determine the SWAT snowmelt parameter; snow cover depletion curve (SCDC) the snow depth distribution (SDD) using Terra MODIS was used, the snow depth was spatially interpolated using snowfall data of ground meteorological stations. For 10 sets (2000-2010) data during snowmelt period (November-April), the sno50cov parameter, that is, the 50% coverage at a fraction of SCDC which determines the shape of snow depletion process, showed the values of 0.4 to 0.7. The SWAT model was calibrated with average $R^2$ of 0.54 using the sno50cov of each year. The 10 years average streamflow during snowmelt period was 104.3 mm which covers 12.0% of the annual streamflow.
