마르미-D는 정보공학과 구조적기법을 반영한 사용자위주의 방법론이며, 본 논문에서는 이를 개발하고 적용한 결과를 기술하고 평가하였다. 이것을 개발하기 위하여 방법론 사용자들과의 면담 및 설문, 방법론 전문가들과의 면담, 방법론 전문서적 및 기술지를 통하여 요구사항을 정리하였다. 또한 단계를 구성하는데 ISO/IEC 12207을 수용하여 7단계로 구분하였다. 특히 정보계획수립과 연계되며, ISO/IEC 12207의 공정구현활동에 해당되는 개발계획단계를 두었고, 운영과 유지보수를 용이하게 하기 위하여 설치 및 인도 단계를 두었다. 구성요소로는 단계, 활동, 작업, 산출물, 기법, 역할로 구성하였고, 영역으로는 사용자관점에서 경영전략과 업무영역을 개발자관점에서 데이타 프로세스 지역과 기술환경을 관리자 관점에서 개발지원과 프로젝트로 나누어 각 단계에 적용하였다. 단계와 영역에 해당되는 ISO/IEC 12207의 세부업무를 가지고 작업을 정하고, 작업에 대한 순서를 정하여 많은 워크샵과 모의 테스트를 통하여 작업들을 구성하였다. 이를 산학연소속의 방법론 전문가로부터 평가를 받았으며, 방법론을 많이 사용한 전문가들로 구성된 사용자그룹으로부터도 정기적인 검증을 받은 후, 공공 SI 프로젝트에 적용한 사례를 논하였다.
Drone Detection with Chirp‐Pulse Radar Based on Target Fluctuation Models

This paper presents a pulse radar system to detect drones based on a target fluctuation model, specifically the Swerling target model. Because drones are small atypical objects and are mainly composed of non‐conducting materials, their radar cross‐section value is low and fluctuating. Therefore, determining the target fluctuation model and applying a proper integration method are important. The proposed system is herein experimentally verified and the results are discussed. A prototype design of the pulse radar system is based on radar equations. It adopts three different pulse modes and a coherent pulse integration to ensure a high signal‐to‐noise ratio. Outdoor measurements are performed with a prototype radar system to detect Doppler frequencies from both the drone frame and blades. The results indicate that the drone frame and blades are detected within an instrumental maximum range. Additionally, the results show that the drone's frame and blades are close to the Swerling 3 and 4 target models, respectively. By the analysis of the Swerling target models, proper integration methods for detecting drones are verified and can thus contribute to increasing in detectability.
A Case of Secondary FSGS due to Chronic Chloride Diarrhea

Congenital chloride diarrhea (CLD) is a rare autosomal recessive disease that is dif ficult to diagnose. CLD requires early treatment to correct electrolyte imbalance and alkalosis and to prevent severe dehydration. Renal injury is clearly associated with defective electrolyte balance induced by CLD, particularly during the first months or years of life. A 7-year-old boy was diagnosed with CLD following detec tion of a homozygous mutation (c.2063-1G>T) in SLC26A3 at 6 months of age. During treatment with electrolyte supplements, mild proteinuria was detected at 8 months of age, and is still present. Renal biopsy showed the presence of focal renal dysplasia, with metaplastic cartilage and mononuclear cell infiltration, calcification, and fibrosis in the interstitium. Up to two-thirds of the glomeruli exhibited global obsolescence, mostly aggregated in the dysplastic area. In nondysplastic areas, the glomeruli were markedly increased in size and severely hyper cellular, with increased mesangial matrix, and displayed segmental sclerosis. The marked glomerular hypertrophy with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis sug gested a compensatory reaction to the severe nephron loss or glomerular obsole scence associated with renal dysplasia, with superimposed by CLD aggravating the tubulointerstitial damage.
Do we need colonoscopy verification in patients with fundic gland polyp?

Background/Aims: The aim of this study was to evaluate the prevalence of colorectal neoplasia in subjects with fundic glandpolyps (FGPs) and the relationship between FGPs and colorectal neoplasia in Korea. Methods: We analyzed 128 consecutivepatients with FPGs who underwent colonoscopy between January 2009 and December 2013. For each case, age- (±5 years)and sex-matched controls were identified from among patients with hyperplastic polyps, gastric neoplasms, and healthy controls. Clinical characteristics were reviewed from medical records, colonoscopic findings, pathologic findings, and computedtomography images. The outcome was evaluated by comparison of advanced colonic neoplasia detection rates. Results: Of the128 patients, seven (5.1%) had colon cancers and seven (5.1%) had advanced adenomas. A case-control study revealed that theodds of detecting a colorectal cancer was 3.8 times greater in patients with FGPs than in the age- and sex-matched healthy controls(odds ratio [OR], 3.80; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.09–13.24; P =0.04) and 4.1 times greater in patients with FGPs than inhealthy controls over 50 years of age (OR, 4.10; 95% CI, 1.16–14.45; P =0.04). Among patients with FGPs over 50 years old, malesex (OR, 4.83; 95% CI, 1.23–18.94; P =0.02), and age (OR, 9.90; 95% CI, 1.21–81.08; P =0.03) were associated with an increasedprevalence of advanced colorectal neoplasms. Conclusions: The yield of colonoscopy in colorectal cancer patients with FGPswas substantially higher than that in average-risk subjects. Colonoscopy verification is warranted in patients with FGPs, especiallyin those 50 years of age or older.
Phenolics Enrichment Process from Unripe Apples

Unripe apples contain significant amount of phenolicswith various health benefits. A pilot scale enrichment process ofunripe apple phenolics with Viscozyme L extraction and XAD-7sorption process, based on the total phenolic content (TPC),phenolics content by high-performance liquid chromatographyanalyses, and antioxidant activities were studied. Antioxidantactivities were tested by measuring oxygen radical absorbingcapacity (ORAC), 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radicalscavenging activity, and ferric-reducing antioxidant power(FRAP). The phenolics-rich final product, apple antioxidantphenolics (AAP) has 771-fold higher TPC and 600-fold higherantioxidant activity of unripe apples. Through XAD-7 sorptionAAP showed 52, 87, 70 and 44-fold increases in TPC, ORAC,DPPH and FRAP values, respectively. AAP showed more than95% stability at the temperature range of 20 to 120°… and pHrange of 1.47 to 8.5. Apple phenolics extraction process ofViscozyme L extraction coupled with XAD-7 sorption could beapplied to the production of health benefit antioxidants.
