        버섯재배용 배지에 사용되는 수입 재배매체의 세균 조사

        Supplemental substrates for mushroom cultivation media are potent resources for bacterial contamination of theindoor environment in cultivation houses. This study was carried out to investigate the presence of harmfulbacteria in supplemental materials (beet pulp, cotton seed meal, kapok meal, peat moss, wheat straw) importedfrom Egypt, China, Indonesia, Canada, and Pakistan. Bacteria belonging to Firmicutes, Actinobacteria, Gammaproteobacteria, and Bacterioides were identified based on 16S rDNA sequence analysis. Seven genera and eightbacterial species were detected in peat moss. Four genera and seven bacterial species were found in both beetpulp and wheat straw. In cotton seed meal and kapok meal, three genera and thirteen bacterial species and twogenera and six bacterial species were shown, respectively. Among the identified species, Bacillus anthracis,Bacillus oleronius, and Lysinibacillus fusiformis are known as human pathogens. Overall, the results of this studyprovided evidence that the imported supplemental materials for mushroom cultivation media are contaminatedwith pathogenic bacteria.

      • 국산 표고품종 해외수출 기반 조성

        국내 개발품종의 해외수출 기반을 조성하기 위해서 산림버섯연구센터 개발품종의 일본 및 미얀마 지역 적 합성 검토를 위한 시험포를 조성·운영하고 있다. 2016년부터 일본 키노쿠스사의 재배사를 이용하여 산조 710호를 포함한 3개 품종의 현저적용 가능성을 확인하고 있으며, 미얀마 샨고원 지역의 표고시험포에서 산림버섯연구센터 개발품종인 산조701 호의 적응성 시험을 진행하고 있으며, 이를 기반으로 미얀마 삔라 웅 지역의 20만평 고산지대에 조성중인 표고생산단지에서 국내품종의 재배 및 미얀마 및 일본으로 생산된 버섯의 판매가 이루어질 예정이다. 이를 통해 대한민국의 국제적 위상을 올리며 국산 표고품종의 해외수출 기반을 마련하는 계기가 되었다.

        감사개입이 대학생의 취업스트레스 및 정신건강변인들에 미치는 효과 및 매개변인으로서 삶의 의미

        The aim of this study was to examine the efficacy of a gratitude intervention for reducing job seeking stress and improving mental health variables among undergraduate students. Moreover, to shed light on its mechanism of action, we proposed and examined meaning in life as a potential mediator of treatment efficacy, based on literature review. A gratitude intervention was provided to undergraduate students who suffered from job-seeking stress and had agreed to participate in the study. A comparison group was given psycho-education. Both participants in the gratitude intervention (n=17) and in the psychoeducation conditions (n=20) received four-session interventions corresponding to the purpose of each condition. Compared with the participants in the psycho-education condition, those in the gratitude intervention condition demonstrated a decrease in job-seeking anxiety, academic stress, depressive symptoms, and perceived stress, as well as an increase in life satisfaction, mental well-being, and happiness. Moreover, improvement in meaning in life partially mediated the efficacy of the gratitude intervention on perceived stress, life satisfaction, mental well-being, and happiness, and also fully mediated its efficacy on academic stress. These results suggest that gratitude intervention is an efficacious intervention for job-seeking stress and various mental health variables among undergraduate students, and that its efficacy may be mediated through increase in meaning in life. Finally, theoretical and practical implications and limitations of the study’s findings are discussed.

        브랜드 개성이 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향 : 이용자ㆍ비이용자를 중심으로

        본 연구는 FCB Grid 모델을 통해 관여도와 이성 / 감성의 측면, 이용자 / 비이용자 간 집단별, 그리고 글로벌 / 로컬브랜드별로 분석하여 소비자의 브랜드 태도 및 브랜드 동일시에 영향을 미치는 개성 요인을 규명하고자 하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국 브랜드에게도 Aaker(1997)에 의해 개발된 브랜드 개성의 5차원 (자상함․사회공헌 / 재미있음․자유로움 / 전문성․결단력 / 우아함․세련됨 / 진취성․역동성)이 발견되었다. 둘째, 이용자가 더 강한 동일시를 느끼는 브랜드 개성 차원은 비이용자에게는 그만큼 중시되지는 않는 차원이라는 점, 그리고 비이용자들이 동일시를 강하게 느끼는 차원이 이용자들에게는 의미 없는 차원이라는 중요한 시사점을 발견하였다. 셋째, 관여도와 이성 / 감성 측면에서는 저관여 이성제품과 고관여 감성제품이 브랜드 태도에 더 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌고, 글로벌 / 로컬브랜드의 비교결과, 다른 브랜드 태도에 관련된 변수에는 차이가 없었다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 마케팅 실무자들이나 광고, 프로모션 등의 마케팅 전략에 이용할 수 있고, 궁극적으로 브랜드 간의 차별화를 통해 시장 세분화에 이용될 수 있다. 공통된 브랜드 개성 차원과 차별화된 브랜드 개성 차원의 탐색을 통해 각각의 중요 브랜드 차원을 강조하는 전략적 방안이 수립되어야 한다. The main objective of this research is to investigate personality factors which influence customer's brand attitude and brand identification by analyzing between the perspective of rationality and sensitivity, users and non-users, global brand and local brand through FCB Grid model. The results of this research find that first, Korea brands have five brand personality (Sincerity, Excitement, Competence, Sophistication, Ruggedness), which are developed by Aaker(1997). Second, the brand personality that users feel strong identification might be not as important as non-users. Third, in perspective of involvement, rationality, and sensitivity, low-involvement rational product and high-involvement sensitive product have a strong influence on brand attitude. The results of this research can be used for marketing experts to make marketing strategies such as advertisement and promotion. Ultimately, the results can be used for market subdivision through the brand differentiation.

        Total saponin from Korean Red Ginseng inhibits binding of adhesive proteins to glycoprotein IIb/IIIa via phosphorylation of VASP (Ser157) and dephosphorylation of PI3K and Akt

        Background: Binding of adhesive proteins (i.e., fibrinogen, fibronectin, vitronectin) to platelet integrin glycoprotein IIb/IIIa (aIIb/b3) by various agonists (thrombin, collagen, adenosine diphosphate) involve in strength of thrombus. This study was carried out to evaluate the antiplatelet effect of total saponin from Korean Red Ginseng (KRG-TS) by investigating whether KRG-TS inhibits thrombin-induced binding of fibrinogen and fibronectin to aIIb/b3. Methods: We investigated the effect of KRG-TS on phosphorylation of vasodilator-stimulated phosphoprotein (VASP) and dephosphorylation of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) and Akt, affecting binding of fibrinogen and fibronectin to aIIb/b3, and clot retraction. Results: KRG-TS had an antiplatelet effect by inhibiting the binding of fibrinogen and fibronectin to aIIb/ b3 via phosphorylation of VASP (Ser157), and dephosphorylation of PI3K and Akt on thrombin-induced platelet aggregation. Moreover, A-kinase inhibitor Rp-8-Br-cyclic adenosine monophosphates (cAMPs) reduced KRG-TS-increased VASP (Ser157) phosphorylation, and increased KRG-TS-inhibited fibrinogen-, and fibronectin-binding to aIIb/b3. These findings indicate that KRG-TS interferes with the binding of fibrinogen and fibronectin to aIIb/b3 via cAMP-dependent phosphorylation of VASP (Ser157). In addition, KRG-TS decreased the rate of clot retraction, reflecting inhibition of aIIb/b3 activation. In this study, we clarified ginsenoside Ro (G-Ro) in KRG-TS inhibited thrombin-induced platelet aggregation via both inhibition of [Ca2þ]i mobilization and increase of cAMP production. Conclusion: These results strongly indicate that KRG-TS is a beneficial herbal substance inhibiting fibrinogen-, and fibronectin-binding to aIIb/b3, and clot retraction, and may prevent platelet aIIb/b3- mediated thrombotic disease. In addition, we demonstrate that G-Ro is a novel compound with antiplatelet characteristics of KRG-TS.

        코로나19 시대의 디지털 전환이 통상협상 (다자/양자)에 미치는 영향분석

        The spread of COVID-19 is causing great changes in the government's multilateral/bilateral trade negotiation methods and results. It is producing more complex and unexpected results because it affects not only to our side, but also to our counterpart, and, more broadly, to the multilateral system. Trade negotiations are a give-and-take consultation process between countries to derive results that satisfy each other's economic interests. Due to the spread of COVID-19, negotiations through various means(e-mail, video conferencing, etc.) have increased rapidly instead of traditional face-to-face meetings. First, in the case of multilateral negotiations. Multilateral negotiations, which had been suspended for the time being due to the COVID-19 at the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva, Switzerland, resumed in June in a hybrid form of "one-person on-site attendance + online(INTERPREFY) for others." At the WTO, various types of meetings are being held 24 hours a day, including informal meetings, small group meetings, bilateral meetings, 1:1 meetings, and receptions, as well as formal meetings where ambassadors or other senior trade diplomats gather to present their positions. Delegates from the headquarters also fly in to Geneva from time to time to participate in the negotiations. During those trips, they often have bilateral meetings with other delegations from each country sometimes over lunch or dinner. In a multilateral system where several countries gather, the process of reaching a consensus is complicated and difficult. When untact meetings become prevalent, it is not easy to communicate based on honest exchange of views and mutual long-term trust. In face-to-face meetings, counterpart's actual expressions, eyes, and gestures are all major factors in addition to their formal position. Video conferencing while wearing a mask makes it almost impossible to take these factors into account. In particular, Korea, usually not tied to a specific regional group, is comparably in a difficult position to gain access to high-quality information. Individual trade diplomats' diligence, role and network are very important to gain access to those. In fact, as untact negotiations continue in Geneva, the pace of progress in negotiations and the direct participation of capital will inevitably decrease. In the case of critical meetings, when policy decisions are needed on the spot, high-level officials from the headquarters used come to Geneva on business trips. As these cases became difficult due to flight restrictions caused by COVID-19, it is difficult to maintain negotiation momentum or make a big leap. Many participants in multilateral negotiations generally agree that it is rather difficult to make critical decisions in virtual meetings. The 12th WTO Ministerial Meeting, originally scheduled to be held at the end of 2020, was also postponed to the end of November 2021. After twists and turns, this was postponed again to June 2022. Second, in the case of bilateral negotiations. In the past, Free Trade Agreement(FTA) negotiations used to take place while visiting each other. The Korea-U.S. FTA was concluded after many ups and downs. To overcome the deadlocks, there were informal consultations between the chief negotiators, including meals, coffee breaks, formal talks, short walks, frequent calls, and pull-aside conversations outside the negotiating table. Since COVID-19, most of our FTA negotiations have been conducted in untact method. Prevailing assessment is that it is difficult to make substantial progress. In the current negotiations, Korean government delegations gather at the hotel conference room to conduct video consultations with the other party. Considering the time difference with the other party (e.g., 14 hours in Latin America), the discussion time itself is relatively short, and the actual discussions are held in the order of a formal agenda.         콜라겐 유도의 혈소판에서 사이클릭 뉴클레오티드의 조절을 통한 Euchrestaflavone B의 혈전 형성 억제 효과

        Euchrestaflavanone B (EFB) is a flavonoid that can be found in root bark, particularly in Cudrania tricuspidata (C. tricuspidata). The extract of C. tricuspidata is widespread throughout Asia and used in traditional medicine. In a previous study, we found anti-platelet effects of substances isolated from C. tricuspidata on collagen-induced human platelets. However, the C. tricuspidata still contains numerous substances, thus, we have searched new candidate, EFB isolated from C. tricuspidata for anti-platelet effect. Our results showed that EFA inhibited collagen-induced platelet aggregation and glycoprotein IIb/IIIa (αIIb/β3)-mediated signaling events, including platelet adhesion, granule secretion, thromboxane A2 production and clot retraction. These results suggest that EFA has inhibitory effects on human platelet activities and thrombus formation and has potential value as a natural substance for preventing platelet-induced thrombosis.

        위 간질종양의 분류 및 임상적 고찰-CD117, CD34, α-SMA, S-100에 대한 면역조직화학적 방법을 중심으로-

        Purpose: Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) represent a distinct and the most important subset of, mesenchymal tumors of the GI tract. Stromal tumors of the gastrointestinal tract have long been a source of confusion and controversy, with regard to their classification, differentiation, criteria of malignancy and prognostic features. Methods: The 26 case studies of patients treated for a Gastrointestinal mesenchymal tumor, including leiomyomas, leiomyosarcomas and GISTs, between 1994 and 2002 at Keimyung University Hospital, were evaluated retrospectively. The cases were confirmed as leiomyomas, schwannomas, or GISTs by pathological re-examination. 20 of the cases were diagnosed as GISTs, from the pathological examination, and were chosen for the evaluation of their clinicopathological and immunohistochemical characteristics, using CD34, CD117, α-SMA and S-100 done. Results: The new diagnoses of the mesenchymal tumors were a leiomyoma in 3 cases, a schwannoma in 3 and gastric stromal tumors in all 20. The immunohistochemical studies were positive for CD117 and CD34 in 95 and 75% of the gastric stromal tumors, respectively. The histopathological findings showed 5 benign tumors, 3 borderline tumors, and 12 malignant tumors in the 20 patients. Conclusion: The immunohistochemical marker (CD117) for KIT is a specific marker for GISTs among the tumors occurring in the stomach, and can be used to distinguish GISTs from true leiomyomas and gastric schwannomas. We also found that severe cellularity, atypism, intratumoral hemorrhage and necrosis, large size and a high mitotic count correlate with malignant behaviour and a poor prognosis.         Inhibitory Effects of Ginsenoside Ro on Clot Retraction through Suppressing PI3K/Akt Signaling Pathway in Human Platelets

        Glycoprotein IIb/IIIa (aIIb/b3) is the most abundant integrin on platelet surfaces, which is involved in interaction between platelets, and triggers an intracellular signaling cascade, platelet shape changes, granule secretion, and clot retraction. In this study, we evaluated the effect of ginsenoside Ro (G-Ro) on the binding of fibronectin and fibrinogen to aIIb/b3 and clot retraction. We found that G-Ro inhibited thrombin-induced platelet aggregation dose-dependently and attenuated the fibronectin-, and fibrinogen-binding to aIIb/b3 through the dephosphorylation of phosphoinositide 3-kinase p85 and Akt, which influence clot retraction, reflecting the intensification of thrombus. We observed that G-Ro is involved in aIIb/b3 in human platelets. These results suggest that G-Ro is beneficial, inhibiting fibronectin adhesion, fibrinogen binding, and clot retraction. Therefore, G-Ro in Panax ginseng may prevent platelet aggregation-mediated thrombotic disease.
