        Lymphangioma is benign vascular malformation, commonly found in children. It is found more often in the head, neck, and axillary area, and rarely occurs in the gastrointestinal tract such as the colon. It resembles hemangioma but consists of cystic spaces of variable sizes containing clear lymphatic fluid. Adult intussusception accounts for 5%–15% of all intussusceptions. Clinical manifestations of intussusception may include nonspecific symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, melena, and anemia. Colonic lymphangioma may be a rare cause of adult intussusceptions. We report a case of adult intussusception due to cecal lymphangioma with a literature review.

        치경부에 발생된 병소 부위(cervical lesion)는 "우식성 병소(caries lesion)"와 "비우식성 병소(non-caries lesion)"로 분류할 수 있다. 우식성 병소는 구강 내 세균들의 활동에 기인하여 발생된 병소로서 경조직 손상 부위의 수복과 함께 우식이 재발하지 않도록 체계적으로 대응하는 것이 필요하다. 비우식성 병소는 산성 물질, 저작력 및 이물질에 의한 마모 작용과 같은 다양한 원인에 의해 발생될 수 있으며, 수복 치료에 앞서 병소에 발생 원인을 규명하는 것이 중요하다. 먼저 병소 유발 원인에 대한 분석과 이에 대한 적절한 조치를 취한 후에 수복 치료를 시행하는 것이 바람직하다. 심미적인 요구가 높은 치경부 병소의 수복을 위하여 사용될 수 있는 재료는 "불소를 방출하는 재료"와 "불소를 방출하지 않는 재료"로 나뉘어지는데, 세균의 활동에 의해 형성된 우식성 병소의 수복에는 불소를 방출하는 재료를 사용하는 것이 추천된다. 우수한 심미성과 보다 강력한 유지력이 요구되는 경우에는 복합 레진계 수복 재료들을 사용하여 수복하게 되는데, 이 경우에는 "접착 술식(bonding procedure)"이 중요한 역할을 수행하게 된다. "접착 술식"은 수복물의 일차적인 유지 뿐 아니라 지각과민을 해소하고 2차 우식을 방지하며, 궁극적으로 수복물의 수명을 좌우하는 결정적인 역할을 수행한다. 자연 치아를 최대한 보존하고자 하는 "최소침습(minimum intervention)" 개념에 바탕을 두고 세심하게 형성된 와동에 각각의 증례에 최적화된 수복 재료를 선택하여 수복치료를 시행한다면 보다 심미적이고 환자가 편안한 치경부 수복물을 완성할 수 있을 것이다.

        Doxylamine 중독 후 합병한 비 외상성 횡문근융해증 1례

        Doxylamine is an antihistamine of the ethanolamine class. It is used primarily as a sleep-inducing agent. Clinicians should be aware of the complications in rhabdomyolysis patients who ingest doxylamine succinate and over-the-counter antihistamines. The easy availability of these substances increases the potential not only of intentional overdose by adults but also of inadvertent ingestion by children. Prompt intervention and careful assessment of renal function, urinary output, and serum creatine kinase levels may represent the difference between an uncomplicated and acute renal failure. Recognition of the potential for rhabdomyolysis and institution of vigorous treatment may prevent acute renal failure in patients who have taken an overdose of the drug. A 14-year-old male was found to have hematuria and oliguria. Evaluation of the patient revealed myoglobinuria, and a creatine kinase(CK) level of 117,563 IU/L. He was recovered by massive fluid administration, urine alkalization and mannitol infusion. We report a case of a suicide attempt in a child where ingestion of the doxylamine complicated by non-traumatic rhabdomyolysis with brief review related literatures.

        Trajectory generation to suppress oscillations in under-constrained cable-driven parallel robots

        Cable-driven parallel robots (CDPRs) have many advantages over conventional link-based robot manipulators in terms of acceleration due to their low inertia. This paper concerns about under-constrained CDPRs, which have a less number of cables than six, often used favorably due to their simpler structures. Since a smaller number of cables than 6 are employed, however, their payloads have extra degrees of motion freedom and exhibit swaying motions or oscillation. In this paper, a scheme to suppress unwanted oscillatory motions of the payload of a 4-cable-driven CDPR based on a Zero-vibration (ZV) input-shaping scheme is proposed. In this method, a motion in the 3-dimensional space is projected onto the independent motions on two vertical planes perpendicular to each other. On each of the vertical plane, the natural frequency of the CDPR is computed based on a 2-cable-driven planar CDPR model. The precise dynamic model of a planar CDPR is obtained in order to find the natural frequency, which depends on the payload position. The advantage of the proposed scheme is that it is possible to generate an oscillation-free trajectory based on a ZV input-shaping scheme despite the complexity in the dynamics of the CDPR and the difficulty in computing the natural frequencies of the CDPR, which is required in any ZV input-shaping scheme. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, a series of computer simulations and experiments were conducted for 3-dimensional motions with a 4-cable-driven CDPR. Their results showed that the motions of the CDPR with the proposed method exhibited a significant reduction in oscillations of the payload. However, when the payload moves near the edges of its workspace, the improvement in oscillation reduction diminished as expected due to the errors in model projection.

      • 부산지역 산성강우의 특성과 주영향인자 해석에 관한 연구

        Acid rain was strongly raised in regional air pollution problems. All of researchs have been focused in plt tendency in a limited area. But, chemical composition data are important because of the control strategy are also necessary to reduce source emission from various air pollution sources. Longtime may be helpful to evaluate acid rain effect to regional area for a long time. We have accumulated acid data from Sep. 1993 to Jan. 2003. In this study, data which was given from Sept., 1993 to 2000 is measured pH and EC, analyzed cations anions by ion chromatography. All of analyzed data were calculated to fit average and standard by SAS package.

      • 부산시 일부지역 강우중 초기 및 후속강우의 이온성분에 관한 연구

        Ion compositions of 1st and 2nd fractions in rainfall water were investigated in Pusan area. pH value, conductivity, and anion·cation components were measured and analyzed from Fall. 1993 to Spring. 1996. High pH value was found to 6.12 on April 1995 in 1st rainfall(1mm below) because of yellow sand phenomena. To contrast, low pH value was indicated to 4.09 on winter 1993. Removal efficiency of ionic compounds was resulted to Mg^(2+) > Ca^(2+) > NO₃^(-) > K^(+) > SO₄^(2-) > Na^(+) > Cl^(-) > NH₄^(+).

        전기자동차 배터리를 이용한 Vehicle-to-Grid(V2G) 최적 운영계획

        With the transition to safe and clean energy, the use of eco-friendly electric vehicles in the transportation sector is rapidly increasing. As a result, the need for Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology to improve the performance of the electricity grid and utilize surplus electric power of electric vehicle batteries has also increased. To enhance economics of V2G business in the electricity market, we develop an optimization model considering various EV characteristics including different amounts of power required for transportation and V2G facility connection status. Using our model, the effects of several policies on V2G operations can be examined and analyzed, so it can help establish effective policies that meet the objectives of V2G introduction.

      • 가와사끼병에서 면역글로불린 사용 후 ASO 수치의 변동에 관한 고찰

        Objective : Since Kawasaki disease was first described in 1967, the cause and prognostic factors have not been known despite many researches and efforts. The introduction of high-dose intravenous gamma-globulin (IVGG) was an epoch and IVGG is now a standard therapy. But the mode of action of IVGG in reducing inflammatory response is not clearly understood. Understanding of the mechanism should supply the clues that indicate the cause, prognosis, the better treatment of this disease. At present, the correlation of CRP, ESR and change of leukocyte numbers to Kawasaki diseases were known, but the correlation studies of ASO titers are rare. To discover this, we evaluated the interrelationship between the ASO titer and IVGG therapy. Methods and Materials : The subjects included 35 patients with Kawasaki disease who were treated by IVGG at department of pediatrics, Inje university, Busan Paik hospital from June, 2004 to December, 2005. Before and after IVGG administration, ASO titers were evaluated. Results: In the 32 among 35 patients, ASO titers checked before IVGG administration were increased prominently after IVGG therapy. Conclusion : Remarkably increased ASO titers after IVGG administration for the treatment of Kawasaki diseases were found. And changes of ASO titers seem to be due to immunoglobulin instead of streptococcal infection. Further studies will be necessary to clarify the pathogenic mechanisms of increased ASO titers.
