Assessment of Surface Water Quality in Suburban Golf Courses in Korea

In the current study, we examined the quality of surface water in ponds at two golf courses, locatedin southern (Country Club P) and eastern (Country Club B) areas of Korea respectively. Seasonal measurements ed oxygen, biological oxygen demand, chloride, alkalinity, hardness, and nitrogen compounds [NH3-N, NO2-N, NO3-N] and the concentrations of four heavy metals (Cd, Cu, Pb, and Zn) throughout the courses. The pH values were within the alkaline range (7.3 to 9.0), and the biological oxygen demand was generally between 0.5 and 3.1 mg/L. The alkalinity and hardness ranged from 19.1 to 68.5mg/L and 16.1 to 63.6 mg/L, respectively. Nitrogen as amonium (NH3-N) was detected in all samples, and the samples had low concentrations of NO2-N and NO3the highest Cd concentration was observed in the pond in Country Club P. Other metal concentrations were low compared to the Quebec guidelines.
모노펄스 레이다용 다채널 집적 수신기의 수신 채널 보정

모노펄스 레이다용 다채널 집적 수신기 내에 존재하는 채널 간 간섭은 최근 수신기의 소형화 추세에 따라 그 영향성이 늘어날 것으로 예상된다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 모노펄스 레이다에 적용되는 다채널 집적 수신기의 수신 채널간 간섭을 보정하여, 표적 각도 검출 성능 왜곡을 배제할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 스위치, 방향성 결합기, 정합 부하, ADC(Analog to Digital Converter), 채널 보정 신호원 등을 이용하여 보정 하드웨어 구성을 제안하였다. 또한, 스위치와 보정 신호원을 제어하여 총 9개의 산란 파라미터를 획득하고, 안테나로부터 출력되는 모노펄스 신호와 채널 간 간섭이 존재하는 상태에서의 다채널 수신기를 통과한 모노펄스 신호 간의 수학적 관계를 이용하여 왜곡되지 않는 모노펄스 신호를 복원하는 방법을 제안하였다. The effect of inter-channel coupling in multi-channel monopulse receiver is expected to increase by miniaturization trend of receiver. Therefore, in this paper, calibration method is proposed to compensation for inter-channel coupling in receiver of monopulse radar. And it can prevent distortion of angle information of target. Hardware configuration that consists of switch, directional coupler, matched load, ADC(Analog to Digital Converter), signal source of calibration is proposed to calibration. Total nine scattering parameters are obtained by controlling the switch and signal source of calibration. After that, method for restoring the undistorted signal is proposed using the mathematical relationship between the monopulse signal output from the antenna and the monopulse signal passing through the multi-channel receiver in the presence of inter-channel coupling.
불로환(不老丸)을 투여한 흰쥐 뇌의 항산화효과에 관한 연구

Objectives: Resently Oxidative stress of brain was proved the cause of Alzheimer and stroke sequel. It has important significance in prevention and treatment of cerebropathia that Bulnohwan used as formula of senescence delay have antioxidative effect. The purposes of this study is to investigate the effect of Bulnohwan on antioxidant defense systems such as thiobarbituric acid reactive substances(TBARS), Superoxide dismutase (SOD), Catalase (CAT), Glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX), Glutathione S-transperase (GST), Glutathione (GSH) in rat brain. Method: Sprague - Dawley rats were divided into 3 groups; saline solution administered control group, Bulnohwan extract administered Experimental group I and Bulnohwan adminisrtrated, 40% dietary restricted Experimental group II. Animals were sacrificed at 12 weeks after treatment TBARS, SOD, CAT, GSH-PX, GST and GSH were measured in mts brain. Results: weight of brain was no stastical significance.(p>0.05) TBARS contents were significant decrease in Experimental group I, II. (p<0.001) SOD activity was stastical significance in Experimental group II, whereas it was no stastical significance Experimental group II.(p<0.0001) Catalase activites were significant increase in . (p<0.00l) Glutathione Peroxidase activites were significant increase in Experimental group I,II. (p<0.000l) Glutathione S-transferase activites were significant increase in Experimental group I, II. (p<0.000) However there were no statistical significance each other. Glutathione contents were significant increase in Experimental group I, II. (p<0.00l) Conclusions: According to the above results, it is considered that Bulohwan has antioxidants effect in rat brain. When Bulohwan goes with diet restriction, there has more Antioxidants effect in rat brain. but this study was perfored retrospectively. So more prospective studies about mutual relation of drugs are needed
가솔린 차량의 누적주행거리에 따른 온실가스 배출특성 연구

An automobile is composed of a combination of a lot of parts, and it is difficult to maintain the same performance from a new car until it's scrapped. Greenhouse gases included in automobile emissions are typically carbon dioxide and methane. It is expected that this greenhouse gas will change depending on the aging (cumulative mileage) of the automobile However, the greenhouse gas characteristics by cumulative mileage lack of actual data due to time and economic difficulties. Therefore, in this paper, we selected automobile with high sales by displacement in korea and carbon dioxide and methane were measured by using method of the related law. The cumulative mileage is as follows; within 160 km (Statutory mileage by 2010), 6500 km (current statutory mileage), 15000 km (approximately 1-year average mileage of Non-business passenger vehicle). As a result of the test, the emission of carbon dioxide and methane was the smallest at 6,500 km, and increased in order of 15000 km, within 160 km. Also, it was confirmed that the CO2 emission change of a large displacement automobile is more smaller at each mileage. Although the greenhouse gas tends to increase as the mileage of the vehicle, it is thought that additional confirmation is required of since 15,000 km as well, because it can occur deviations due to taming process or mechanical friction of the automobile.
