현대 국어 말뭉치에 나타난 ‘-었는’의 사용 양상과 특징 연구

In this paper, I studied the use of ‘-eossneun’ was analyzed through the data of the ‘21st Century Sejong Plan(2011 revised version)’ in Modern Korean. According to the current Korean grammar, the adnominal ending is responsible for the function of expressing the tense as well as the function of a modification. Therefore, it is ungrammatical to combine ‘-neun’, which is an adjective ending in the present, and ‘-eoss-’ in the past tense(or perfective aspect). However, from the corpus data, examples of ‘-eossneun’ are extracted, which shows that ‘-eossneun’ is used in real language life. Therefore, it was judged that an explanation of these was necessary, and the meaning and function of these were examined by focusing on the replacement pattern with the adjective ending for the examples in which ‘-eossneun’ was realized. According to this, ‘-eossneun’ can be divided into the following types. ① Can only be replaced with ‘-eossdeon’, ② Can only be replaced with ‘-eossdeon’, ③ Can be replaced with ‘-eun’ or ‘-eossdeon’, ④ Can be replaced with ‘-neun’, ⑤ There were cases where it could be replaced with ‘-neun’ and ‘-eossdeon’, ⑥ could be maintained with ‘-eossneun’. And I tried to explain the semantic characteristics of ‘-eossneun’. As a result, in terms of expression, ‘-eossneun’ indicate the meaning of state-durative, or seemed to reflect the intention to express vividly by recognizing past or completed events in the present utterance. In addition, it was identified as showing modality such as emphasis, guess, and recollection of direct experience.
