Amyloidosis is an intriguing disorder with a vast number of gastrointestinal manifestations from asymptomatic to gastrointestinal bleeding that can easily be missed on initial evaluation. We have experienced a case of intestinal amyloidosis associated rheumatoid arthritis in a 58 years old woman who has been on maintenance hemodialysis for 6 years. She admitted because of lower abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal fullness. Characteristic radiological feature consists of diffuse thickening of the small bowel valvulae conniventes was the first clue for the diagnosis of intestinal amyloidosis, and a subsequent rectal biopsy established the diagnosis.

[OBJECTIVES] Primary purpose of current research was to examine effect of goal orientation tendency on self control. [METHODS] Among 2018 college athlets of Korea Judo Association, participants were recruited through convinence sampling. Except for insincere replies, 215 replies were analyzed for the study. Effect of achivement goal orientation of college athletes was examined throuhgh multiple regression. path analysis with Structured equation model was applied to analyze structural relationship between achievement goal orientation and self control of college athletes, which is the main purpose of this study [RESULTS] At first, current research found that ego-orientation tendency and task orientation tendency have a positive effect on interpersonal relationship. Secondly, ego orientation tendency and task orientation tendency have a positive effect on psychological management of college athletes. Third, for physical management, task orientation tendency had a positive effect while it did not show significant effct on training management. Finally, as a result of analyzing structural relationship between achievement goal orientation tendency and self control, current study found that ego orientation tendency had positive effct only for interpersonal and psychological management. Task orientation tendency positively affect interpersonal, psychological, physical, and training management. [CONCLUSIONS] This research found significant evidence that task orientation tendency, among achievement goal orientation, positively affect self control strategy of college Judo athletes. Task orientation tendency needs to be considered to enhance athletes` performance during coaching.

This study recruited 500 high school Judo players (360 boys and 140 girls) who registered in the Korea Judo Association, and a questionnaire was administered. Thirty seven responses were dropped due to untruthful response and 463 was utilized for analyses. The following results were obtained. First, it was shown that the factor of patience and endurance were higher in girls than that in boys. Second, for the difference of sport mental power as grade, it was obtained that language of leader showed the highest rank. Third, the results that analyzed about the difference of mental power as sport experience indicated that language of leader showed the highest level.Forth, the results that analyzed the sport metal power on winning experience indicated that the players having winning experience showed higher levels. Fifth, the results of sport mental power as winning record in the national competition showed that language of leader indicated the highest rank. Sixth, the results of sport mental power as winning record in the city and province tournament represented that language of leader showed the highest.

It is a troublesome but significant problem to clarify the causes of allograft dysfunction in the management of kidney transplantation. The introduction of cyclosporine(CyA) has been a major advance in clinical transplantation, but its general use has introduced a new irnportant clinical problem' nephrotoxicity. The clinical differentiation between nephrotoxicity and other causes of allograft dys- function is not only difficult, but often impossible. At the present time, allograft biopsy is the best way to differentiate among the various causes of graft dysfunction in patients treated with CyA'. We have retrospectively reviewed 300 allograft biopsies to assess the causes of allograft dysfunction and proteinuria according to posttransplant period and also evaluated risks and benefits of allograft biopsies. In our study, overall, acute (139 case '46.3%) and chronic rejection(70 case 23.3%) were the two most common histologic diagnoses, 35(11.7%) had transplant glomerulonephritis. The major cause of graft dysfunction varied according to the post transplant period. Within 6 months, acute rejection (89:69.5%) was the most frequent diagnosis, whereas between 1 and 2 year, chronic rejection(20:41.6%) became the most frequent diagnosis over acute rejection. After 2 years, chronic rejection (33:45.2%) and transplant glomerulonephritis (21:28.8%) were the two most frequent. Among transplant glomerulonephritis, IgA nephropathy and focal glomerulosclerosis were the two most common diagnoses. In our series, CyA nephrotoxicity accounted for only 4.3% of the cause of allograft dystunction at various time interval after transplantation. The relatively low incidence of CyA nephrotoxicity in our series can be explained by massive dose reduction in the initial and maintenance phase. As in other series, microscopic and gross hematuria were our rnost comrnon complications. Macroscopic hematuria occurred in 15 patients(5.0%). Clinically significant perirenal hematoma occurred in four patients(1.5%); one of these required surgical intervention. There were three(1.0%) bleeding complications requiring transfusion. One of which was successfully controlled by percutaneous embolization. Transient anuria due to blood clot obstruction was seen in two cases (0.9%). None of these complications led to loss of graft function. In conclusion, the percutaneous allograft biopsy is a saft and invaluable tool in the evaluation and management of allograft dysfunction and significant proteinuria.
