      • Effect of In-row Plant Spacing on Growth and Yield of Korean Native Allium wakegi Araki

        Allium wakegi Araki was grown at plant spacings of 5, 10, 15, and 20 cm to determine the effect of planting density on the growth and yield. Allium wakegi Araki plants grown at the 5 cm plant spacing had the lowest bulb diameter and bulb weight, while plants at the lowest density (20 cm spacing) had the highest bulb diameter, bulb number, bulb weight and fresh weight. In general, plants grown at narrower spacings produced significantly smaller bulb diameter and bulb weight, but resulted in the highest yields and plants per hectare and lower fresh weights per plant.

      • Effect of Plant Growth Regulators on Clonal Production through Basal Stem Explant Cultures of a Phalaenopsis Hybrid

        This study was conducted to develop the clonal propagation technique through in vitro culture using basal stem explants in Phalaenopsis hybrid grown in vitro. The highest frequency of protocorm-like body (PLB) formation was obtained when basal stem explants were cultured on VW medium containing 30g/L sucrose, 500 mg/L activated charcoal, 150 ml/L coconut water, 1 mg/L NAA, 5 mg/L 2iP and 2.5g/L gel rite. PLBs transferred to Hyponex medium were regenerated to plantlets. Plantlets transferred to plastic pots containing spagnum moss were developed and successfully acclimatized under greenhouse. The flower was bloomingly opened in plants regenerated from basal stem explants. The flower was not different from both mother plant and plant induced through clonal propagation of Phalaenopsis hybrid.

      • 악성종양에서 혈청 Intercellular Adhesion Molecule-1의 혈청

        Intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) is a glycoprotein serving as ligands for leukocyte intergrin receptors, i.e. LFA-1, MAC-l. It has been suggested that the expression of ICAM-1 and the levels of circulating ICAM-1 were increased in several malignancies. We measured serum ICAM-1 by ELISA in patients with stomach cancer (n=25), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (n=7), non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (n=14), and metastasis of unknown origin (n=5). Serum levels of circulating ICAM-1 in all malignancies were significantly higer than in normal controls. And serum level of ICAM-1 in stomach cancer ptients having metastatic disease was higher than in patients with localized disease (p=0.027). These results suggest that elevated serum ICAM-1 is a rather common feature for malignancies, not unique for certain types of cancer such as malignant melanoma. It remains to be clalified whether marked increase of serum ICAM-1 in metastatic stomach cancers simply reflect tumor burden or this molecule plays a role in progression in stomach cancer.

      • 항암화학요법을 받는 암 환자에 대한 Nucare^R의 영양지지효과

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of nutritional support with enteral liquid supplement in cancer patients receving chemotherapy for possible benefit in nutritional, immunologic and golbal function of patients. Patients and Methods : From October 1995 to February 1997, 30 advanced cancer patients receving chemotherapy were divided two roups. The Nycare group, in addition to normal diet, Nucare^R enteral supplement was given for 1week right after chemotherapy for the duration of 2 chemotherapy cycles. Control group received only normal diet without parenteral fluid supplement for 2 chemotherapy cycles. Results : Median ages were 53 end 56 years for Nucare group and Contrl group respectively. Performance scores was less than 2 by ECOG scale. All patients were stage Ⅲ or Ⅳ. The physical parameters, such as weight, arm muscle circumference(AMC) and triceps skin fold(TSF) were decreased in both groups after 2 cycles of anticancer therapy. but it was less severe in Nucare group(p<0.05). Serum transferrin was maintained in mild deficit state in Nucare group, whereas it aggravated form mild to moderate deficit in Control group(p<0.05). Serum albumin level increased in Nucare group without statistical significance. but it decreased from normal to mild deficit in Control group. Serum total protein did not change significantly in Nucare group. but in Control group, serum total protein was decreased from 7.24±0.9 to 6.52±0.5(P<0.05). Total lymphocyte count did not change significantly in both groups. Conclusion : This study shows that the nutritional support with Nucare^R was effective in the prevention of nutritional deficit status in patients receving a nticancer chemotherapy.

      • 보안위협 모니터링을 위한 AI 데이터셋 구성방안 연구

        Cyber-attacks are evolving into a form of a long-term continuous attack by forming a dense group. However, there are cases of being defenseless against hacking attacks due to the lack of information on vulnerabilities exposed to security threats. In addition, organizations and companies with limited assets and response capabilities are often unable to take action due to the lack of measures to respond to such attacks. To solve this problem, we create a shared dataset by collecting various vulnerability information that has been disclosed, and after learning AI, we intend to present information on security vulnerabilities and effective detection and response methods for hacking attacks targeting vulnerabilities. 사이버 공격은 치밀하게 집단을 구성하여 장기간 지속적인 공격을 하는 형태로 진화하고 있다. 하지만 보안위협에 노출된 취약점들에 대한 정보 부재로 해킹공격에 무방비로 당하는 사례도 발생하고 있다. 또한 자산 및 대응역량이 제한된 기관 및 기업들은 이러한 공격에 대응할 수 있는 방안 부재로 조치를 할 수 없는 경우가 상당히 많다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 공개되어있는 각종 취약점 정보들을 모아 공유 데이터셋을 만들어 AI 학습 후 보안취약점에 대한 정보와 취약점을 노린 해킹공격에 대한 효과적인 탐지와 대응하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

        6年根 人蔘의 等及別 品位 및 ginsenoside 함량

        This study was conducted to investigate the difference of general feature and ginsenoside content of 6 years old ginseng rooot among different grade of roots. Total weight of a 1st grade-6 years old ginseng root was 115.1g and weight, length, diameter and specific gravity of main root were 64.68g, 8.39cm, 3.31cm and 0.96, respectively. Main root of 1st grade ginseng root was larger in size and specific gravity and more heavy than that of 2nd or 3rd grade of the roots. Though crude saponin contents were not so different among the different grade of roots, but ginsenoside Rbl, Rgl and Re content were higher in 1st grade of root than that of 2nd or 3rd grade of root. Those ginsenosides were located mainly in periderm and cortex.

        In an existing rice paddy, we established an subsuface drainage and a auxilialy drainage at proper intervals to accelerate the underground drainage. In the process of building up a rotation field. we studied the little physical change of the soil over 24 months. Various tests were conducted (a. Munsell soil color test b. Constant head permeability and permeability test c. Examination of aeration, degree of hardness, waterproof quality d. Shear resistance and friction resistance test e. Moisture content and specific gravity test and f. Measurement of moisture content and void ratio by nuclear density meter). These tests were conducted by many people on soil from each plot. Results of the study are as follows. Paddy fields of Korea have a particularity different from the European countries and America that drain the excess soil water from the shallow surface soil layer. The facing problems on the planning and designing of subsurface drainage are determining the spacing of main subsurface drainage system, combination design of main and auxiliary subsuface drainage system and the structure of subsuface drainage ditch. The structure of subsurface drainage ditch consist of drainage pipe and filling materials such as rice bran and pebbles. The width of subsuface drainage ditch is 20cm in case of trencher operation and 30cm in case of back hoe excavation. The advisable depth of subsuface drainage ditch is below 50cm. In an subsuface drainage plot, the supporting force and the plate sinking volume increased, But the moisture content and specific gravity test, according to the tests had a tendency to decrease. Similarly, moisture content and void ratio as indicated by the nuclear density meter generally showed a tendency to decrease. In addition, aeration, degree of hardness, and the waterproof aggregates percent of soil generally incleased in an subsuface drainage plot. From the above results, we found that when an subsuface drainage was establshed in a silty rice paddy having poor permeability, the physical qualities of that rice paddy became those of a dry field.

      • 자기 동조형 퍼지 제어기의 설계에 관한 연구

        본 논문에서는 퍼지 제어기의 제어 규칙과 입·출력 게인율 동시에 조정하는 자기 동조형 퍼지 제어기를 설계하였다. Procyk가 제안한 자기 구성 퍼지 제어기는 계산 시간이 길고, 아주 큰 기억용량을 필요로 한다. 따라서 퍼지 변수의 개수를 줄임으로써 계산 시간과 기억 용량을 작게 하였다. 이로 인한 제어기의 불이익은 자기 동조 퍼지 에어 알고리즘을 도입하여 보상하도록 하였다. 마지막으로, 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안된 알고리즘이 자기 구성 알고리즘이나 자기 동조 알고리즘보다 우수한 성능을 가짐을 입증하였다. In this paper, we proposed a self-tuning fuzzy controller which has abilities modifying the control rules and tuning the fuzzy gains of fuzzy controller. The SOC by Procyk is too time consuming and demanding in storage to use, therefore we reduced the number of fuzzy rules for this disadvantages, and added the self-tuning algorithm for tuning the gains of fuzzy controller automatically. Finally, we demonstrated that the proposed controller is superior to the self-organizing algorithms or self-tuning algorithms through computer simulations.

        This study was conducted to detect the allelopathic effect of water and ethanol extracts from 4 plant species (Lactuca sativa L., Ambrosia elatior L., Oenothenra odorata Jasp., Ginkgo biloba L.) on germination and growth of lettuce seeds. A little bit higher inhibitory effect was obtained in ethanol extracts rather than water extracts. Allelopathic effects varied in the source of extracts and concentrations of 4 plant species and the highest allelopathic effect appeared in 10% solution, regardless of plant species.
