Banlieue et la politique d`integration des immigres en France - politique spatiale de discrimination et d`exclusion - Ryu, Ji-seok · Jang, Se-yong [Abstract] Notre travail a pour but d`etudier, de fa?on critique, la caracteristique spatiale de la banlieue fran?aise avec le point de vue historique et philosophique. Les emeutes dans les banlieues en 2005 ont souleve les questions sur la politique de ville en general et ont remis en question la nature de cet espace d`inclusion et d`exclusion en raison de son effet profond sur le probleme de l`immigration et la politique multiculturelle. Avec cette perspective de base, nous explorons egalement l`arriere-plan philosophique et ideologique de la formation du mecanisme de discrimination et d`inegalite pour les immigres. Banlieue est la zone satellite autour de la ville metropolitaine, construite au cours de la modernisation et de l`urbanisation, en particulier dans le but d`ameliorer l`environnement residentiel des travailleurs et de la classe humble. Il est devenu un espace problematique des conflits sociaux complexes lies non seulement a la crise economique, l`augmentation du ch?mage, et l`afflux des travaileurs etrangers principalement des pays du Maghreb mais aussi a la montee du racisme et du xenophobie aggravee par la provocation de l`extr?me droite et la politique endurcie de la droite. Le soulevement des banlieues de 2005, commence dans les banlieues de Paris a choque la France et le monde. La discrimination et le racisme contre les immigres originaires du Maghreb produisent des conflits socio-culturelles graves en France, ou les valeurs republicaines d`egalite considerees comme primordiales et la politique d`integration a ete mis en place depuis longtemps. Maintenant France se situe au carrefour des politiques d`integration republicaines fondees sur le principe de laicite et du besoin du multiculturalisme plus souple. Les philosophes et les intellectuels tels que Ranciere, Balibar, Badiou, Rosenvallon ou Noiriel remarquent cette situation contradictoire et critiquent violemment l`ideologie de la securite et sa recuperation politique par la droite. Notre etude sur la banlieue en France donnera l`occasion de reflexions sur le multiculturalisme et l`elaboration des politiques relatives a la coexistence avec les immigres dans la societe mondialisee.

Effects of Sulforaphane, Grapefruit Seed Extracts, and Reuterin on Virulence Gene Expression Using hilA and invF Fusion Strains of Salmonella typhimurium

This study assessed the effects of the antimicrobial substances sulforaphane, grapefruit seed extracts (GSE), and reuterin on the expression of Salmonella HilA and InvF virulence gene using a LacZY assay (β-galactosidase assay) with hilA:lacZY and invF:lacZY fusion strains of Salmonella typhimurium SL1344. Salmonella was grown for 8 hr at 37oC in the presence of diluted antimicrobial substances (2 μg/mL sulforaphane, 20 μg/mL GSE, and 0.26 mM reuterin) at concentrations that did not inhibit the cellular growth of Salmonella. Sulforaphane inhibited the expression of HilA and InvF by 50-90 and 20-80%, respectively. GSE also inhibited the expression of both genes, but to a lesser degree. Among the 3 antimicrobial substances, reuterin showed the least inhibition, which was abolished after 3-4 hr. None of the antimicrobial substances inhibited the β-galactosidase enzyme activity of S. typhimurium. The assay used in this study represents a very sensitive method for screening bioactive substances that inhibit the expression of virulence genes in Salmonella.

Purpose: This study was designed to investigate sample’s general characteristics and compare depression degree among sample’s general characteristics and students’ major(nursing vs. other major). Methods: The subjects consisted of 318 university students. Data was collected by self-reported questionnaires, which were constructed BDI score. Data was analyzed by the SPSS/PC WIN 19.0 program. Results: The depression of nursing students and other major students was not significantly different according to BDI score. Statistically significant difference was identified among sleeping. Conclusion: Specific study focused on the practice time should be done to confirm the depression of nursing major and other majors. Detailed support programs which specifically deal with sleeping should be developed to effectively reduce the harmful effects of individual vulnerability. Therefore, prevention and management system to reduce depression degree for university students is needed.

J. S. RYU. Gender differences in the impact magnitude and its attenuation during running. Korean Journal of Sport Biomechanics, Vol. 15, No. 1, pp. 91-109, 2005. The goal of this research was to determine whether gender differences exist in impact force and impact shock variables at stance phase during a preferred running. Ten male and ten female subjects volunteered to participate in this study. Impact force was quantified by using a surface-mounted force plate. In addition, Axial accelerations of the tibias and mouth were measured using low-mass accelerometers. Comparison of parameters relating to impact force and impact shock which attained from time domain, and impact shock parameters which were analyzed in frequency domain were made between genders. The conclusions based on results were as follows; 1. There were no significantly differences in impact force, mouth and tibia acceleration peak in time domain between two genders. 2. The male group was greater in impact shock peak of PSD(power spectral density) at the tibia than female group(p<05), but no differences in active impact of FSD at the tibia and the mouth between two genders. 3. Female subjects exhibited that a peak of impact shock attenuation analyzed in frequency domain moved toward a high frequency, but no difference in time domain between two genders.

TiO₂ and V₂O?? based Moisture Sensor were manufactured by using of thick-film technology and their characteristics was investigated. Adding about 10mol% Na₂CO₃to mixing of TiO2 and V2O5 improved sensitivity and linerity. The optimum fired condition was about 1hr at 800℃ in air. The electrical resistance of Moisture sensor varied from 7×108(Ω) to 8×103(Ω) as relative humidity varied from 20% to 90% RH.

The three short stories covered in this study - Kim Dong-in's "Potato", Chun Young-tak's 'Hwasuboon", and Hyun Jin-kun's "Lucky Day"-are representative of 1920's literature which covered the correlation of poverty and death. These three stories discuss the reality of the poverty which occurred as a direct result of the seizure of farmlands and farm produce under Japanese Imperialism. The main topic of this study is to reveal the assumption that due to the influences of that period, poverty and death were inevitable. The following discussion will cover two main topics. The first topic is that the aesthetic contemplation of death is directly perinent to the inherent nature of these stories. The other topic is that it is characterstic of the plot of these short stories to investigate the influence of poverty and death. To further study the second topic, the following studies were conducted: "Potato" contemplates the relationship between the reality of poverty and sexual morality. "Hwasuboon" contemplates the relationship between the reality of poverty the love of family. "Lucky Day" contemplates the relationship between the reality of poverty and daily labors. A third topic reinvestigates the rhetorical side of poverty and death discussed in the second topic. This topic reinvestigates the aesthetic plot as a supplement to the formal side of the contents. As a final topic, we investigate the creation of literature and its influence on social conditions. All three stories share the same point of view that the reality of poverty was related to the main problems of contemporary life. However, historians hold the point of view that life and death, wealth and poverty, and other bright and dark points constantly coexist in human society. As the problems between humanity and society, and society versus the individual exist throughout all periods of time, the deaths covered in these stories do not give special attention to those factors since they could occur in any society and age, not just specifically the 1920's.

In the network with small cell radius, a mobile terminal which has large mobility should perform frequent handover. This requires that handover mechanism must be done fastly. As cell size is smaller, signal power level is lower Handover is implemented by the network to give the users freedom of motion beyond a limited wireless coverage area while they are communication. The handover is procedure by which a user's radio link is transferred from one radio port to another through the network without an interruption of the user collection. The currently existing method for handover uses an algorithm, in which the bandwidth corresponding to the adjacent cells is supposed to be allocated. However, this method leads to the problem of requiring bandwidth allocation for many-unknown cells, due to the lack of information toward moving direction in mobile terminal. In this paper, we propose an efficient dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm for solving those problem above, based on both path rerouting handover and soft hangover mechanism with wireless ATM. Thus, only the bandwidth for corresponding adjacent cell, that is from estimation, is chosen to be reserved; this method drastically reduces the waste of bandwidth, and improves the efficiency in performance. Comparing with static bandwidth allocation algorithm, the proposed algorithm make a bandwidth allocation more efficient. As for the QoS, it has been shown that proposed algorithm shows better performance than that with static bandwidth allocation algorithm.

링 앞 휘돌아 물구나무서기 동작의 운동학적 분석

The purpose of this study is to examine the kinematical factors of Felge upward with straight arms to handstand motion, and to grope for the better Felge motion or dismount motion using the Felge motion on the Rings. As the subjects, six gymnasts(KOR 2, JPN 2, CHN 2) who participated in the 1997 Pusan East Asian Games(men's team competition Ⅰ). Two S-VHS video cameras were used for the data collection. The Direct Linear Transformation(DLT) technique was employed to obtain 3-D position coordinates of 30 control object points and 18 landmarks. A cubic spline function was used for smoothing and differentiation. And the following conclusions were drawn; 1. Down swing phase : It indicated that the longer vertical and horizontal displacement of CM were the smaller in vertical position of CM after the first handstand. Also it showed that the large extension of shoulder and hip joint resulted in the fast downward velocity at the Beating. 2. Beating swing phase : It indicated that the factors influencing the angular velocity of shoulder and hip joints and the horizontal velocity of the CM were the large downward vertical velocity during downswing phase, and the hip angle and position at the Beating. 3. Felge swing phase : It indicated that the large upward velocity and the small angular velocity of the shoulder and hip joints and the small horizontal velocity of the CM have the advantage of performing the last handstand motion.
