In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

Reaction completion time was investigated to measure OH/CH ratio as reaction time at 25℃. In 50 and 60 minute reaction was completed in 1.0 ratio that was reached equilibrium state. In another method, equilibrium, state was investigated by measuring volume% of C₂H_(5)OH. From 40 to 50 minute. that was reached at 61.6 of volume% After reaction. monomer and tetrasilicate(92%) as main product was discovered and so oligomer(6%). Mean molecular weight (Mw) of sol solution was about 7.000. The beginning point and ending point of hardening was measured through the TGA investigation of reaction material. The hardening of sol solution was complected in 7 minute and viscosity was maximum from 4 to 5 minute and was set at 9 minute.
植物凝集素 Agastache rugosa와 닭赤血球에 의한 사람 唾液의 型分類에 關한 硏究

In order to classify the human saliva with the use of the serological characteristics of Agastache rugosa extract, agglutination inhibition tests of phytagglutinin, Agastache rugosa and chicken red blood cells were performed, using 268 human saliva specimens. The relationship of the newly classified saliva types with the established saliva types, blood groups, and serum types was compared statistically. On the other hand, the agglutination inhibition tests were also carried out using the saliva stains in the same methods and this result was compared with the result of those using the fresh salivas. The results obtained could be summarized as follows : 1. Human saliva could be classified into two groups. One group inhibited the agglutination activity of Agustache rugosa extract to chicken red blood cells and the other did not. The frequency of the former was 54% and the latter was 46% among the investigated 268 human salivas. 2. The classification and distribution of the new saliva types, inhibitor and non-inhibitor, showed no constant relation with those of the known saliva types, secretor and non-secretor, and the saliva types which were classified by the agglutination inhibition pattern of Agustache rugosa extract and human red blood cells. 3. The classification and distribution of the new saliva types showed no constant relation with those of the known blood groups and serum types, such as ABO, MN, ARI-ch and ARN-ch, IPO and NPO, and ICO and NCO respectively. 4. This new classification of human saliva type may be applicable for the classification of human saliva stains.
스트릿 댄스 시장의 과제와 개선 방안 연구 : 전문가 인터뷰를 중심으로

본 연구는 최근 미디어 등을 통해 주목받고 있는 스트릿 댄스의 주요 과제를 파악하고 이에 대한 개선방안을 모색하였다. 문헌조사와 더불어 관련 종사자 겸 전문가 10명을 대상으로 FGI를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 국내 스트릿 댄스 시장은 아직까지 제도적 미비함이 많은 것으로 나타났고, 이를 계약, 일자리, 법제도 측면으로 나누어 보았을 때, 일자리 정보 공유, 의무적인 표준계약서 사용,법적 갈등에 대한 지원 등의 개선방안이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 향후 지속가능한 형태의 발전을 위한 방안으로는 스트릿댄스의 허브 역할을 할 공적 협회의 설립 및 운영이 필요하다. This study looked at street dance, which has recently become popular through the media. The method was to identify major problems in the market and find ways to improve them. A literature survey was conducted, and then focus group interviews were conducted with 10 related workers and experts. As a result of the study, the domestic street dance market still had many institutional insufficiencies. This was divided by type into contracts, jobs, and legal system aspects. Here, improvement measures such as sharing job information, andatory use of standard contracts, and support for legal conflicts were found to be necessary. In addition, for future mid- to long-term evelopment, it is necessary to establish and operate a public association that will serve as a hub for street dance.
유전 알고리즘과 신경망을 이용한 잡영이 혼합된 한글 인쇄체 문자 인식에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 유전 알고리즘과 신경망을 결합해서 잡영이 혼합된 문자 패턴을 인식하는 방법을 제안한다. 입력되는 문자는 유전 알고리즘에서 표현하는 개체로 변환되며 신경망을 이용해서 적응도를 평가한다. 신경망의 조합에 따라 평가된 적응도에 따라 유전 알고리즘을 이용하여 패턴의 변형을 시도한다. 패턴의 변형은 교차 연산과 돌연변이 연산을 적용해서 구현하며 변형된 패턴의 적응도를 추적, 조사하여 적응도가 임계치를 넘는 패턴과 그 결과를 인식 결과로 한다. 실험 조건은 한글 신명조체 중에서 단모음과 단자음을 갖는 84자를 기준으로 했으며, 문자 패턴에 여러 가지 잡영을 첨가했다. 실험 결과, 단순히 신경망만으로 구성한 경우는 잡영 종류에 따라 최고 74%, 100%의 인식율을 보였으며 유전 알고리즘을 적용했을 때 같은 조건에서 최고 98%, 100%의 인식율을 나타내어 본 제안의 유용성을 입증하였다. In this paper, we propose the recognition technique that is using neural network and genetic algorithm. This is a recognition technique for printed character with noise mixed. Input patterns are translated to individual that genetic algorithm uses, and individual is evaluated through neural network evaluation function. we evaluate the individual’s fitness with the result from the composition of the output of each network shows. In accordance with this fitness, patterns are translated using genetic algorithms. Pattern transformation is implemented with cross over and mutation operation. We persuade the fitness of each individual, and evaluate it. If any fitness satisfies the threshold, we can regard the patterns as final result. Test patterns are 84 characters of New MyongJo font and variety noise mixed. In this case, only with neural networks and, best recognition rate is 74%. With genetic algorithm, in such the best case, recognition rates show 100%. So, experimental result shows that this approach is useful.

Reye syndrome is a disorder of unknown etiology in which a child recovering form a viral prodrome suddenly develops pernicious vomiting & eventually develops neurologic changes. The syndrome is defined to acute noninflammatory encephalopathy with fatty degeneration of liver and other organs. The coagulopathy or Reye syndrome is associated with proloned PT caused by the mitochondrial injury compromising synthesis of proteins and clotting factors in liver. In this case, we observed ICH on right parietal and occipital area in brain CT. Actually, bleeding in the major organ is extremely rare in Reye syndrome, this may be the first case report of CNS bleeding in Korea associated with Reye syndrome. In addition to case report, we present a brief review of the related literatures.

예전에 고가의 장비로만 병렬처리가 가능하던 컴퓨팅 방법을 워크스테이션이나 PC수준에서도 병렬처리가 가능한 분산 시스템들이 개발되고 있다. 이들 중 최근의 웹환경과 멀티미디어 처리를 필요로 하는 요구가 많아짐에 따라서, 클러스터링 기법을 이용하여 PC 기반의 분산시스템에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 PC들을 LAN으로 연결한 클러스터 시스템에서, PC들간에 MPI library를 이용하여 프로세스간에 일어나는 통신의 시간적 분석을 하였다. 결과적으로 메시지가 전달되는 프로세스의 수가 많아질수록 프로세스간 전송시간이 줄어들었으며, 스위칭 HUB의 사용은 약 20% 정도의 속도향상을 보여 주었다. Many distributed systems organized with workstations or personal computers are developed according to the progress of personal computers and the improvement of computer network devices. We could do parallel processing of complex problems using these systems with cheap cost. Recently, PC based distributed systems using clustering method are intensively studied to support web environment and multimedia handling. We made a cluster system consisted of 3 PCs under same condition to evaluate the communication environment. We solved problems using MPI(Message Passing Interface) with this system and ran a benchmark program and analyzed the message passing time between Focesses. As a result, the time is more reduced while the message is transmitted via more processes. Using switching hub gives 20% speedup in message passing.
