        야뇨증 환아들의 심리사회적 특성에 대한 다기관 연구 : 행동 및 정서 문제를 중심으로

        Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral and emotional problems associated with nocturnal enuresis in Korean children. Methods : Three hundred eighteen children with nocturnal enuresis, together with their parents, completed the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-IV (DBDS), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (PHCSC). Ninety-three normal students were selected as the control group. Results : Compared to the normal control group, the mean scores with regard to the withdrawn, social problems, attention problems, delinquent behavior, aggressive behavior, externalizing problems and total problems profiles were significantly higher in the nocturnal enuresis group according to the CBCL results. The nocturnal enuresis group also scored significantly higher in the ADHD and ODD profiles of the DBDS. The nocturnal enuresis group was more depressed and anxious than the control group according to the results of the CDI and STAI. The mean score of the PHCSC was significantly lower in the nocturnal enuresis group when compared to the normal control group. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that children with nocturnal enuresis in Korea have clinically relevant behavioral and emotional problems. The findings support the link between nocturnal enuresis and psychopathology in Korean children.

        Fullerene의 유전독성을 평가하기 위하여 Chinese hamster유래의 난소유아세포(CHO-K1 cell)를 이용하여 직접법(-S9)과 대사활성화법(+S9 mix)의 염색체이상시험을 실시하였다. 시험물질은 1% CMC 나트륨염의 현탁액(l% CMC 용액)에 희석하여 조제하였다. 대사활성화를 시키지 않은 직접법의 염색체이상시험에서 24시간 투여군은 8단계의 농도(0.078, 0.156, 0.313, 0.625, 1.25, 2.5, 5, 10mM)로 투여하여 실시하였다. 투여 농도 증가에 따른 염색체이상의 빈도가 증가하는 양상이 나타나지 않았다. 48시간의 투여군에서는 8단계의 농도(0.078, 0.156, 0.313, 0.625, 1.25, 2.5, 5, 10mM)로 투여하여 실시하였는데 투여 농도 증가에 따른 염색체이상의 빈도가 증가하는 양상이 나타나지 않았다. 배수체의 염색체이상은 직접법에서 관찰되지 않았다. 대사활성화법을 이용하여 6시간 시험물질을 투여한 시험에 있어서는 8단계의 용량단계 (0.078, 0.156, 0.313, 0.625, 1.25, 2.5, 5, 10mM)를 설정하였는데 투여 농도가 증가함에 따른 염색체이상빈도의 증가양상이 관찰되지 않았다. 이상의 결과를 종합할 때 본 시험물질은 본 시험 조건하에서 CHO-K1세포에서 대사활성화를 시켰을 때 염색체 이상을 유발하지 않는 것으로 판단된다.

        2.5-헥산디온에 노출된 근로자에게서 발생한 말초 신경병증

        목적: 영상음향장비 제조업체에서 2,5-헥산디온을 취급한 근로자에게서 발생한 다발성 말초 신경병증 환례를 보고하고, 동일 공정근로자들의 말초 신경기능을 조사하고 자 한다. 방법: 환례에 대해 방사선학적 검사, 소변 및 혈액 검사, 신경전달속도 검사, 작업환경 측정을 하였으며, 2,5-헥산디온의 노출을 중단시킨 후 5개월 후에 다시 신경전달속도 검사를 하였다. 동일공정 근로자들의 영향평가에서는 2,5-헥산디온에 노출된 13명의 남자 근로자를 노출 군으로, 해당 물질에 노출된 적이 없는 5명의 남자 근로자를 비노출군으로 선정하여 검사를 하였다. 결과: 환례의 신경전도 검사결과 양측 척골신경과 정중 신경에 이상소견을 보였으며, 호전여부를 관찰하기 위하여 5개월 후 추적검사를 실시한 결과 증상 및 신경전달속도 검사결과가 호전되었다. 동일공정 근로자들의 영향평가에서 노출군의 정중 신경과 척골신경이 비노출군에 비하여 유의하게 감소되어 있었다. 감각 신경의 진폭의 경우, 노출군의 정중 신경과 비복 신경이 감소되었으며, 운동 신경 전도속도에서는 노출군의 비골신경이 유의하게 감소되어 있었다. 말단 잠복기에서는 노출군의 정중신경, 척골신경, 비골신경, 경골신경이 비노출군에 비해서 유의하게 연장되어 있었다. 결론: 환례의 증상과 신경전달속도 검사의 이상소견은 2,5-헥산디온에 의한 말초신경병증에 부합되었다. 동일공정 근로자 건강영향평가에서 신경전달속도 검사결과 노출 군과 비노출군간의 유의한 차이가 있었는데, 이를 통해 2,5-헥산디온이 근로자들의 신경독성에 영향을 줄 수 있다는 것을 확인할 수가 있었다. Objectives: This study is a case report of 2,5-hexanedione induced occupational peripheral polyneuropathy. We also investigated the peripheral nerve function of all workers who had been exposed to 2,5-hexanedione in the same process. Methods: In June, 2006, a 2,5-hexanedione exposed worker complained of both hand numbness. He received neurologic, radiologic, laboratorial and electrophysiologic evaluation, including measurements of workplace environment. Five months after cessation of exposure to 2,5-hexanedione, a follow-up electrophysiologic examination was done. We evaluated the peripheral nerve function of 2,5-hexanedione exposed workers by comparing 13 male 2,5-hexanedione exposed workers who were in same company with the patient and 5 male workers who had not been exposed to 2,5-hexanedione. Results: Under electrophysiologic examination, there were abnormalities in sensory and motor nerve velocity, terminal latency, and F-latency of both median nerve and ulnar nerve. After 5 months, the patient symptoms and the results of follow-up electrophysiologic examinations were improved. Comparing the 2,5-hexanedione exposed group with the unexposed group, the sensory nerve velocity of the median and ulnar nerves in the exposed group was decreased. The motor nerve velocity of the peroneal nerve, and sensory nerve velocity of the median and sural nerves were decreased. Terminal latency of median, ulnar, peroneal, and tibial nerves in the exposed group were increased compared with the unexposed group(<0.05). Conclusions: 2.5-hexandione can induce peripheral polyneuropathy in male workers.

        컴포머 충전과정에 따른 상아질 투과도의 변화

        Compomer is composed of matrix and filler; matrix is made of the combination of resins and polycarboxylic molecules that are light-cured. and a filler is a glass component which is capable of ion-release. The resin content of compomers produces polymerization shrinkage which can adversely affect marginal adaptation. Pretreatment is a fundamental step which is treated with conditioner or primer in the use of these materials. Microleakage of restorative materials has been investigated mostly by dye penetration method. Dye penetration method was not quantitative and not measured repeatedly. Fluid filtration method. introduced and developed by Pashley's group, has been extensively used for 20 years for research purpose to understand the physiology of dentin, as well as the effects of various restorative treatments on dentin permeability. It permits quantitative, nondestructive measurment of microleakage in a longitudinal manner. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the change the change of dentin permeability according to the process of compomer restoration. In this study, CI Ⅴ cavities were prepared on buccal surface of thirty extracted human molars. The prepared cavities were etched by 37% phosphoric acid. The experimental teeth were randomly divided into three groups. Each group was treated with following materials; Group 1 : Prime & Bond NT/Dyract AP, Group 2: Single Bond/F2000 compomer, Group 3 : Syntac Single Component/Compoglass. The bonding agent and compomer were applied for each group following manufactures information. Dentin permeability of each group was measured at each process by fluid filtration method; Step 1 : preparation(smear layer), Step 2 : etching(smear layer removal), Step 3 : applying the bonding agent, Step 4 : filling the compomer. Dentin permeability was expressed by hydraulic conductance(㎕ min^-1cmH_2O^-1). The data were analysed statistically using One-way ANOVA and Sheffe's method. The results were as follows : 1. Dentin permeability differences between each process were significant except between step 1 and step 2(p<0.01). 2. Dentin permeability after removal of smear layer was highly increased(p<0.01). 3. In most case, decrease of dentin permeability was obtained by applying bonding agent(p<0.01). 4. Dentin permeability differences among the experimental groups were not significant(p>0.05). 5. None of compomers used in this study showed perfect seal at the interface.

      • 정상인에서 전기 및 자기 자극을 이용한 설 근육의 전기생리학적 평가

        Background: Abnormality of lingual muscles is clinically common. But its exact clinical assessment is quite difficult. Evaluation of motor power of the lingual muscles and their neural pathway is limited because of anatomical inaccessibility and individual variation of subjective symptoms. Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) of the human motor cortex is a non-invasive tool to assess the functional integrity of the fast conducting central motor pathways and electrical stimulation of lingual nerve is a conventional method of peripheral nerve conduction. Therefore both study will be helpful to understanding of pathophysiology of lingual abnormality. Until now there is no such report in Korea. This study was conducted to acquire the easier method and normal control values of Korean subjects. Method: We recorded the motor responses from the lingual muscles of 32 healthy subjects (22 men, 10 women) by focal cortical TMS with a circular coil. Motor potentials were recorded by means of surface electrodes applied on the both side of the tongue, following TMS several centimeters lateral from the vertex and parietooccipital cortex and peripheral electrical stimulation of the 12th cranial nerve at the lateral 1/3 point of the line between the midline and angle of mandible. Results: During moderate motor activation, majority of maximal motor response were obtained 4-6cm lateral to the vertex with similar latencies. And the responses from magnetic stimulation of the intracranial segment of hypoglossal nerve were discarded because of difficulty to obtain and unsatisfactory reproducibility. The latency of motor evoked potentials in right cortical stimulation was 10.08 ± 1.17 msec and in left stimulation 10.04 ± 1.32 msec. The amplitudes in right 2.15 ± 1.02, left 2.09 ± 1.11 mV. The latencies electric hypoglossal nerve stimulation were 2.42 ± 0.34 in right, 2.49 ± 0.35 msec in left side. The amplitudes were 2.90 ± 2.37 in right, 2.43 ± 1.86 mV in left side. Central conduction times as calculated by subtracting the response latencies obtained by magnetic and electric stimulation are right 7.65 ± 1.19, left 7.55 ± 1.35 msec. There was no significant difference between man and woman, Conclusion: The method may be efficient, noninvasive, painless, and easy reproduced. With more extensive application to various neurological disorders, it comes close to being an ideal clinical conduction study technique for this cranial nerve.

      • 건국대학교 의과대학의 통합강의 모델에 관한 연구

        To develop a proper model of block lecture as an educational program, we surveyed the educational environments and problems in Konkuk University Medical College(KUMC). The major findings were as follows; 1. There is no significant differences in ratio of lecture/laboratory hour between KUMC and average of medical colleges in Korea. 2. The total lecture time is higher(138%) in KUMC than the minimal lecture time(1204 hrs) for basic medical science in the guideline of the Korean Medical Association(KMA). 3. The real lecture hours was 2,184 hrs for 4 years that is less than the time(2786 hrs) reported to Council of Korean Medical Dean. 4. The time estimated for block lecture in all course at KUMC is 1428.5 hrs. 5. A number of specialists(professors) for each course is not sufficient and many courses have to depend on lecture rather than laboratory or clinical bedside working. 6. The professors are separated at three distant sites resulting in inefficient structure. 7. The educational space in the two hospitals is not sufficient for block lecture program. 8. In KUMC at present, 9 courses can be performed with block lecture program, those are Diagnostics, Medical Ethics, Forensic Medicine, Introduction to Biomedicine, Legal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Community Medicine, Psychiatry, and Pediatrics. And 20 courses need the further investigation to develop block lecture program. More intensive study is needed for 6 courses. From these results, although KUMC needs more space and specialists and needs effective concentration of manpower to perform block lecture, 35 block lectures can be introduced after investigation. And it is suggested that introducing the block lecture system in whole curriculum is not possible at present status of KUMC.

        파종기별 논콩재배의 수량 및 생태적 특성

        This study was conducted on a commerce silt loam soil at paddy field in the southwestern Korea (36˚N lat). In the study of planting time, seed were hand planted at 24 May, 14 June and 5 July, and at 24 May, 14 June and 5 July in 2005, respectively. Two seedlings plants per hill were taken prior to V3 stage. Fertilizer was applied prior to plant at a rate of 3.0-3.0-3.4 g (N-P-K) per square meter. Experimental design was a randomized complete block in a split plot arrangement with three replications. Yield was significantly affected by different of the planting times and cultivars. The seed yield in planting time was the highest on late in May 24 but was the lowest on July 5. Also, the plant time significantly affected on increasing pod and seed number and seed weight. The days from emergence to flowering and maturity was reducing tendency with late planting time.

        일기상자료에 의한 읍면별 벼 작황진단 및 쌀 생산량 예측

        CERES - rice, a rice growth simulation model, was used in conjunction with daily weather data to figure out the spatial variation of the phenology and yields of paddy rice at 168 rice cultivation zone units(CZU) of Kyunggi Province in 1997. Two sets of cultivar specific coefficients, which represent early and mid - season maturing varieties, were derived from field experiments conducted at two crop experiment stations. The minimum data set to run the model for each CZU (daily maximum and minimum temperature, solar irradiance, and rainfall) was obtained by spatial averaging of existing "Digital Map of Korean Climate"(Shin et al., 1999). Soil characteristics and management information at each CZU were available from the Rural Development Administration. According to a preliminary test using 5 to 9 years field data, trends of the phasic development (heading and physiological maturity ), which were obtained from the model adjusted for these coefficients, were in good agreement with the observed data. However, the simulated inter - annual variation was somewhat greater than the reported variation. Rough rice yields of the early maturing cultivar calculated by the model were comparable with the reported data in terms of both absolute value and inter - annual variation. But those of the mid season cultivar showed over estimation. After running the simulation model runs with 1997 weather data for 168 CZU's, rough rice yields of the 168 CZU's calculated by the model were aggregated into corresponding 33 counties by acreage - weighting to facilitate direct comparison with the reported statistics from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The simulation results were good at 22 out of the 26 counties with reportedly increasing yield trend with respect to the past 9 years average.

      • SVD 알고리즘 및 HMM을 이용한 얼굴 및 눈 패턴 검출

        The studies about automatic pattern detection of the eye and face from the human image acquired by the CCD image sensor have good applicabilities in the industry, home automation, and data communication field. In general, pattern detection method consists of feature based matching and template matching. In feature based matching, the feature vector is extracted with DLM(dynamic linking matching), EBGM(elastic bunch graph matching), HMM(hidden markov model) matching and knowledge based matching using statistical characteristics. In template matching, in general, the template vector is extracted with PCA(principal component analysis). When these method applied in the face and eye detection, each method has its own merits and some disadvantage. Therefore, by combined utilization of SVD(singular value decomposition) and HMM algorithm, is expected that we can selectively make use of each methods advantage and it result in improved detection accuracy. In this paper, we proposed the method for face and eye detection, which was combined by the two algorithms, to be suitable for the high speed image processing using DSP chip or microprocessor. In the beginning, template matching was followed by a template extraction using batch SVD algorithm and then face pattern was classified and recognized by HMM algorithm which is one of feature based matching technique. Finally, eye pattern detection was performed by pattern search neural network utilizing eigeneye image.
