        Background : In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. Objective & Methods : For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of PPNG, we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by means of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. Results : In 1997. 99 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 45(45.5%) were PPNG. Conclusion : The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 45.5% in 1997.

        교정용 선재의 직경 증가를 위한 전기도금법과 무전해도금법의 비교연구

        본 연구는 교정용 선재의 직경을 증가시키기 위한 방법으로 무전해도금법의 이용 가능성 여부를 전기도금법과의 비교를 통해 알아보고자 시행되었다. 0.016 인치 스테인레스 스틸 교정용 선재에 도금을 위한 전처리를 시행한 후, 시중에 판매되는 무전해니켈도금액(Hessonic-Gr, 신풍금속, 한국)을 사용하여 90℃ 온도에서 0.018 인치 직경이 될 때까지 도금을 시행하였다. 무전해도금 과정 중 시간에 따른 직경증가율을 구하는 한편, 도금 후 세 지점의 직경을 계측하여 균일성을 평가하였다. 도금 금속의 정성분석을 위하여 X-선 회절분석을 시행하는 한편, 물성검사를 시행한 후 전기도금한 경우와 각각 비교 분석하였다. 연구결과 무전해도금한 군이 전기도금을 시행한 군보다 강성, 항복강도, 극한강도 모두 높은 경향을 보였으며 강성과 극한강도에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었다 (p < 0.05). 또한 무전해도금한 군의 직경증가율은 0.00461 ± 0.00003mm/5min (0.00092mm/min)로, 전기도금한 군의 직경증가율 0.00821 ± 0.00015mm/min와 차이를 보였다. 도금 후 세 지점의 직경을 계측하여 균일성을 평가한 결과, 두가지 도금법 모두에서 균일한 양상을 보였다. 이상의 결과로 무전해도금법을 통해 직경이 증가된 선재가 전기도금법에 의해 직경이 증가된 선재보다 기존의 선재와 가까운 물성을 보임을 알 수 있었으며, 이의 임상적 적용을 위해서는 도금시간의 감소가 필요함을 알 수 있었다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate electroless plating as a method of increasing the diameter of an orthodontic wire in comparison with eletroplating. After pretreatment plating of the 0.016 inch stainless steel orthodontic wire, electroless plating was performed at 90℃ until the diameter of the wire was increased to 0.018 inch. During the process of electroless plating, the diameter of the wire was measured every 5 minutes to examine the increasing ratio of the wire's diameter per time unit. And to examine the uniformity, the diameter at 3 points on the electroless-plated orthodontic wire was measured. An X-ray diffraction test for analyzing the nature of the plated metal and a 3-point bending test for analyzing the physical property were performed. The electroless-plated wire group showed a increased tendency for stiffness, yield strength, and ultimate strength than the electroplated wire group. And there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups for stiffness and ultimate strength. In the electroless-plated wire group, the increasing ratio of the diameter was 0.00461 ± 0.00003 mm/5 min (0.00092 mm/min). In the electroplated wire group, ti was 0.00821 ± 0.00015 mm/min. The results of the uniformity test showed a tendency for uniformity in both the plating methods. The results of this study suggest that electroless plating of the wire is closer to the ready-made wire than electroplating wire in terms of the physical property. However, the length of plating time needs further consideration for the clinical application of electroless plating.

        브라켓 부착시 레진 베이스의 두께에 따른 전단결합강도와 파절양상에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 브라켓 간접부착술식시 레진 베이스의 두께에 따른 전단결합강도와 파절양상을 비교함으로써 레진 베이스 두께 증가시 전단결합강도의 저하여부를 평가하기 위하여 시행되었다. 소의 하악 절치를 포매하여 만든 레진블럭에 micromanipulator를 사용하여 치면과 브라켓 기저면 사이의 광중합형 접착제가 0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 mm 두께가 되도록 각각 브라켓을 부착한 다음 만능물성시험기를 이용하여 치면으로부터 하중 위치까지의 거리를 일정하게 유지하면서 레진 베이스의 두께를 증가시킨 경우와 레진 베이스 두께의 증가와 함께 치면으로부터 하중 위치까지의 거리를 증가시킨 경우로 나누어 전단결함강도를 측정하고 파절양상을 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 치면으로부터 하중 위치까지의 거리를 일정하게 유지한 경우 레진 베이스 두께의 증가와 함께 브라켓 기저부로부터 하중 위치까지의 거리가 감소함에 따라 전단결합강도가 유의하게 증가하였다. 2. 레진 베이스 두께의 증가와 함께 치면으로부터 하중 위치까지의 거리를 증가 시킨 경우 전단결합강도가 감소하는 것으로 나타났으나 그 유의차는 미미하였다. 3. 접착제 잔류지수를 이용하여 레진 베이스의 두께에 따른 파절양상을 비교 관찰한 결과 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 이상의 실험결과를 볼 때 브라켓 부착시 레진 베이스의 두께에 따른 전단결합강도는 브라켓 기저부로부터 하중 위치까지의 거리가 증가함에 따라 감소하는 반면 레진 베이스 두께의 영향은 크게 받지 않는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the possibility of the decrease of bond strength due to increased thickness of resin base in indirect bracket bonding technique. Metal brackets were bonded to the resin blocks involving bovine lower incisors and the thickness of resin bases was increased by increments of 0.5mm from 0.0mm to 2.0mm. They were divided into two groups, one group is that the thickness of resin base was increased but the loading point from the tooth surface was maintained constantly, the other group is that the loading point from the tooth surface and the resin base thickness were increased concomitantly. The shear bond strength was tested on universal testing machine and the failure patterns were assessed with the adhesive remnant index(ARI). The results were as follows: 1. When the distance from the tooth surface to the loading point was maintained constantly, shear bond strength was increased significantly according to the decrease of distance from the bracket base to the loading point and the increase of resin base thickness. 2. When the distance from the tooth surface to the loading point and the resin base thickness were increased concomitantly, shear bond strength was decreased according to the increase of resin base thickness but significant differences were ignorable. 3. There were no significant differences in ARI scores according to the change in the thickness of resin base. The results of the present study indicated that shear bond strength was not much affected by the thickness of resin base, whereas was decreased according to the increase of distance from bracket base to the loading point.

      • 입제농약을 활용한 벼 병해충 생력방제 연구

        The experiment was carried out to establish of labor-saving control system on paddy field transplanted young rice seedling by machine. We examined the effect of control value between conventional control method that applied 6 times to paddy field during cultivation period and labor-saving control method that applied systematic pesticide one time to the seed, to the nursery box at transplanting day and twice to the middle stage of rice cultivation. The control value in labor-saving control method of Laodelphax striatellus, Nephotettix cincticeps and Lissorhoptrus oryzophilus were 93.4%, 92.7% and 86.1% compared with untreatment field, respectively and also the labor-saving method was more efficient than conventional control method at early stage of rice cultivation. The control value in labor-saving method of Nilaparvata lugens, Sogatella furcifera, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis were more than 84% and these showed almost same trend with conventional control method. The control value in labor-saving method of leaf blast and panicle blast were 91.7%, 93.8%, that showed similar result with conventional control method. The control value in the nursery box at transplanting day of sheath blight was 83.6%, these result were better than conventional control method that applied 2 times at middle stage of rice cultivation.

        전산화단층사진을 이용한 하악골 3차원 영상에서 비대칭진단 계측항목의 재현도에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 하악골 3차원 입체영상에서 비대칭계측항목들의 재현도 비교를 통하여 안면비대칭 진단 시 유용한 계측점 설정에 도움이 되고자 시행되었다. 40명의 두경부 전산화단층사진을 이용하여 생성한 3차원 영상에서 하악골 형태를 결정짓는 부위로 하악과두, 하악우각부, 하악정중부를 선택하고 각 부위의 세부위치에 따라, 그리고 측정 시 보는 각도에 따라 구분하여 하악과두의 경우 Cd_(sup_sup) 등 6개, 하악우각부의 경우 Go_(inf_lat) 등 10개, 하악정중부의 경우 Me_(ant), Me_(inf) 등 총 18개의 계측점을 설정한 후 이를 이용하여 하악골 비대칭 시 좌우 차이를 보일 수 있는 25개의 계측항목을 설정 및 계측한 후 조사자간 및 조사자내의 재현도를 비교 평가하였다. 조사자간 재현도의 경우 25개의 계측항목 중 3개를 제외한 모든 계측항목에서, 조사자내 재현도의 경우 2개 항목을 제외한 모든 계측항목에서 높은 재현도를 보였다. 아울러 본 연구에서 설정한 18개의 계측점 중 Go_(mid_lat), Go_(mid_obl)가 포함된 계측항목이 조사자간 및 조사자내 재현도가 떨어지는 경향을 보였다. 이상의 연구 결과 본 연구에서 사용된 18개의 계측점 중 16개의 계측점(과두를 나타내는 Cd_(sup_sup), Cd_(lat_ant), Cd_(lat_lat), Cd_(post_lat), Cd_(post_post), S, 하악우각부를 나타내는 Go_(inf_lat), Go_(inf_inf), Go_(lat_ant),Go_(lat_lat), Go_(post_lat), Go_(post_post), Ag_(lat), Ag_(inf), 하악정중부를 나타내는 Me_(ant), Me_(inf))은 높은 재현도를 보이므로 전산화단층사진을 이용한 하악골 3차원 영상에서 안면비대칭 환자의 진단에 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 시사하였다. Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the reproducibility of measurements representing asymmetry of the mandible and to identify which landmarks would be more useful in 3-dimensional (3D) CT imaging. Methods: Facial CT images were obtained from forty normal occlusion individuals. Eighteen landmarks were established from the condyle, gonion, and menton areas, and 25 measurements were constructed to represent asymmetry of the mandible; 8 for ramus length, 12 for mandibular body length, 1 for condylar neck length, 2 for frontal ramal inclination, and 2 for lateral ramal inclination. Inter- and intra-examiner reproducibility of the measurements was evaluated. Results: Inter-examiner reproducibility of the measurements proved to be high except for 3 measurements. Intra-examiner reproducibility also proved to be high except for 2 measurements. Interand intra-examiner reproducibility of the measurements including Gonion proved to be low. Conclusions: The results of the present study indicate that the landmarks and measurements constructed in 3D CT images can be used for the diagnosis of facial asymmetry.

        구강저에 발생한 단독형 신경섬유종

        Benign neural sheath neoplasms are not common in the maxillofacial region. These lesions can occur as solitary tumors, or they can affect many sites in the form of multiple neurofibromatosis. A solitary neurofibroma is seldom undergo sarcomatous transformation, since solitary neurofibroma is relatively radioresistant and its recurrence rate seems to be low, the treatment of choice is surgical excision. This case showed a solitary neurofibroma in the left side of the floor of mouth which occurred in a 33 - year -old female. The tumor was excised. And there is no evidence of disease. She is satisfied in function and esthetic aspect.

        AKD(alkyl ketene dimer) used widely as a neutral sizing agent is produced industrially by halogenization of stearic acid followed by dimerization of alkyl ketene. In the present work, to suppress the byproduct of hydrochloric acid and to improve reaction pathway. AKD was prepared through of ketene intermediate by dehydration of stearic acid in gas phase using reaction with silanol on silica as active sites of the catalyst SBA-15 showed the highest activity due to the large and open tubular pores. It was found that main products were dimer and trimer. Our goal of the present work was to increase of the selectivity for the dimer.

      • 약물의 폐 전달을 위한 염화 벤제토늄 기반 리포좀의 제조 및 평가

        Benzethonium chloride-containing egg phosphatidylcholine-based liposomes (BC/EPC-LIPOs) were developed for lung-targeted drug delivery. BC/EPC-LIPOs were fabricated via thin-film hydration method with various BC-to-EPC molar ratios of 1:4 (F1), 1:1 (F2), and 4:1 (F3). Cyanine5.5 (Cy5.5) was loaded as a fluorescent probe for the biodistribution study during the film-forming step. BC/EPC-LIPOs were evaluated by using dynamic light scattering analysis, where the mean diameter and zeta-potential values of F1, F2, and F3 were observed to be 69.5 ± 3.1 nm and 50.06 ± 1.00 mV, 59.0 ± 2.3 nm and 51.30 ± 2.98 mV, and 694.2 ± 243.3 nm and 55.01 ± 3.16 mV, respectively. To evaluate the lung distribution efficiency of the developed liposomes, F1 and F2, which possess suitable particle sizes for the intravenous administration, were injected into the tail vein of ICR mice. At 6 h post-injection, the lung, liver, kidney, heart, spleen, and brain were dissected, and the radiant efficiency (RE) values of the or- gans were measured using the near-infrared fluorescence imaging method. The lung RE value of F2 was 1.69-fold higher than that of F1, indicating a more efficient lung targetability of F2. This phenomenon can be attributed to the higher content of BC in F2 than F1. Considering the lung-targetability, as well as the biocompatible natures of BC and EPC, the developed BC/EPC-LIPOs can be used as an efficient lung-targeted drug delivery system.

        This study which of the Stroop test training and simple response training can reduce the Stroop effect in the information processing process when continuous training is performed. 4 male students from S University(Asan-si) were divided into Stroop test training group(2) and simple reaction group(2). The test was conducted 10 times a day, and average was obtained and analyzed. The results encountered through this study are as follows. 1 The simple response training group improved more slowly than the Stroop test training group. 2. In the Stroop test training group, the rate of increase increased significantly compared to the simple response training group, but it did not increase once the record reached a certain point. 3. Simple response training at increasing values ​​was also trained on the Stroop effect. 4. In the average of phage values, both groups look similar.
