      • 머리염색이 인체에 미치는 영향

        일상생활에서 모발염색은 흔히 접할 수 있는 미용의 한 종류로 특히 젊은층을 중심으로 폭발적으로 유행하고 있다. 염색을 위항 사용하는 약제는 표백제와 발색제 등 각종 화학약품이 사용되고 있으나 이로 인한 건강장해에 대한 연구는 그리 많지 않다. 저자들은 염색이 인체의 모발건강에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 염색과 관련된 주관적 증상과 모발의 변화에 대한 실험적 연구를 시행하였다. 동국대학교 경주 캠퍼스 재학생 80명을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하여 염색 유 ·무 및 염색 후에 경험한 증상에 대해 설문 조사하였고, 의과대학 재학생 46명을 대상으로 피부 반응 테스트를 실시하였다. 또한 염색 전후의 모발 탄성도를 측정하였고 모발의 상태를 파악하기 위해 전자 현미경검사를 실시하였다. 설문조사 결과 염색 전에 비하여 염색 후 안구혼탁, 안구건조, 시력저하, 발진 및 접촉성 피부염, 모발손상, 모근손상 등의 증상을 더 많이 경험한다고 호소하였다(p<0.05). 모발손상과 모근손상은 헤어드라이어 사용 빈도에 따라 증가하는 것으로 조사되었다(p<0.05). 피부반응검사에서 가려움증이 가장 많은 증상이었으며 이는 여성보다는 남성에서 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 염색 전후의 모발장력은 염색 전 134.5±10.37g, 염색 128.0±30.69g, 염색 이틀 후 112.5±19.69g으로 나타났다. 염색 전후의 모발의 전자현미경 케라틴 층이 현저히 감소하고 모발이 가늘어지는 차이를 보였다. 염색은 모발손상, 모발 케라틴 손상 및 모근 손상, 발진 및 접촉성 피부반응, 안구혼탁, 안구건조, 시력 저하를 유발한다. 따라서 염색약으로 인한 손상에 대한 주의와 예방이 필요하다고 생각한다. 예방대책으로 염색 전 피부테스트를 통한 적합성 여부를 판단하는 것이 필요하며 가급적 염색을 피하는 것이 좋을 것이다. 염색약에 발암물질이 포함되어있다는 보고도 있어 염색 제조사의 철저한 실험과 염색 물질의 선별이 염색으로 인한 부작용을 최소화하는데 중요한 역할을 할 것이다. Hair coloring has became one of the most popular cosmetic activities to younger generations during last decade. However, there are few studies on the health effect of widespread use of chemical dyes. This study was conducted to study the effects of hair coloring dye on hair and other systems. We conducted a questionnaire survey of 80 persons in Kyongju campus, Dongguk University. We have done open patch skin test on 46 medical students. We also conducted scanning electron microscopy to examine the hair strength and structure before and after hair coloring process. Injury of hair and hair bulb, contact dermatitis, turbid eyes, xerophthalmia, and poor visual acuity were the main symptoms complained after hair coloring (p<0.05). Injury of hair and hair bulb were increased by frequency of hair-dryer use(p<0.05). In open patch test, pruritus was complanined by more than half of the subjects. Mean strength of hairs before and after hair coloring was as follows; 134.5 (SD 10.37)g before hair coloring, 128.0 (SD 30.69)g immediately after hair coloring, and 112.5 (SD 19.69)g after two days. The scanning electron microscopic findings of hair surface before and after hair coloring showed decreased keratin layer and thinning of the hair. Hair coloring induces injury to hair, its keratin layer, and hair bulb as well as contact dermatitis, turbid eyes, xerophthalmia, and poor visual acuity. Therefore, we think that precaution is needed in use of hair coloring dye. To prevent complications induced by hair coloring dye, it is necessary, especially to those with allergy or skin disorders, to perform skin test before action and avoid hair coloring whenever possible. Longterm health effects of hairdye should be studied and manufacturing companies should try to minimize complications induced by hair coloring dye.

        The Reconstruction of Skin Equivalents with Hair Follicle Dermal Sheath Cells

        The skin consists of two main layers, the epidermis and dermis, which are separated by the basement membrane. Epidermal-dermal communication is important for skin homeostasis, and dermal factors play a key role in regulating the growth and differentiation of the epidermis. Several studies have demonstrated that hair follicle dermal sheath cells (DSCs) synthesize more soluble factors than dermal fibroblasts. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of DSCs upon the evolution of skin equivalents (SEs). In this study, human keratinocytes were seeded on two different dermal substitutes. In addition, the effects of ascorbic acid were evaluated. Histologically, thick epidermis was observed in DSC-derived models. Immunohistochemical staining showed similar pattern of involucrin in both DSC- and fibroblast-derived models, but filaggrin was expressed much stronger in DSC models. The number of PCNA positive cells was lower in the DSC model than in the fibroblast model especially in the presence of ascorbic acid. However, integrin a6 was strongly expressed in DSC models and in the presence of ascorbic acid supplementation. These findings suggest that DSCs secrete or synthesize factors, which affect the epidermalization of the skin, and that ascorbic acid is an important supplement in the reconstruction of human epidermis. In addition, transmission electron microscopy of SEs was performed and a well-developed intercellular junction was observed in the DSC models. Our results suggest that dermal compartment-related epidermis modifications are important in the processes of differentiation and proliferation in SEs.

      • Primary Lymphoma of Bone Diagnosed Following Total Hip Replacement Arthroplasty for Suspected Osteoarthritis

        We have presented a case of unsuspected PBL in a patient who underwent THRA for suspected osteoarthritis. Our findings emphasize the importance of pre- or intraoperative consultation in case of PBL and thorough pathologic examination of all specimens obtained during routine, elective orthopedic surgeries. 원발성 골 림프종은 주변의 림프절의 침윤과 관계없이 한 개의 골격을 침범하거나 혹은 내부 장기나 림프절의 침윤없이 여러 개의 골격들을 침범한다. 원발성 골 림프종의 방사선 소견은 매우 다양하고 비 특이적이며, 대개 병리학적 검사 이전에는 진단되지 않는다. 관절을 침범하는 경우에는 골관절염과 유사하게 표현될 수 있다. 원발성 골 림프종은 뼈를 침범하는 다른 악성 종양에 비해 양호한 생존율을 보이므로, 적합한 치료를 위해 정확하고 빠른 진단이 매우 시급하다. 여기서 우리는 일년 동안 지속된 고관절 통증을 주소로 내원하여 방사선적으로 골관절염 의심 하에 전 고관절 치환 관절성형술 후에 진단된 원발성 골 림프종 1예를 문헌고찰과 함께 보고한다. 병리학적 검사결과 미만성 대세포성 B-세포림프종으로 진단되었다. 본 증례는 비 특이적인 방사선 소견과 임상 특성 때문에 원발성 골 림프종을 먼저 의심하기가 어렵다는 점과 진단에 있어 수술 중 자문의 중요성을 강조하는 증례이다.

        인성교육을 위한 개인협력그림요소와 협력적 학습유형간의 관계

        본 연구의 목적은 인성교육을 위한 6인협력그림검사를 소개하고 이 활동으로 측정할 수 있는 개인협력그림요소와 협력적 학습유형간의 관계에서 제목정하기의 매개효과를 알아보는 것이다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 서울과 충남지역 소재 대학생 114명을 대상으로 2016년 3월부터 6월까지 6인협력그림검사와 GRSLSS의 협력적 학습유형검사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료를 SPSS 23프로그램, AMOS19프로그램, PROCESS macro 프로그램을 활용하여 상관관계분석을 실시하고, 경로분석을 통해 매개효과 검증을 수행하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개인협력그림요소와 협력적 학습유형 간의 유의한 정적인 관계가 있었다. 둘째, 개인협력 그림요소가 협력적 학습유형에 미치는 영향에서 제목정하기가 부분매개 효과로 나타났다. 즉, 개인협력그림요소가 협력적 학습유형에 유의한 직접효과의 영향보다 개인협력그림요소가 제목정하기를 매개로 하여 협력적 학습유형에 간접적으로 영향을 주는 것이 더 크다는 것을 보여주었다. 이러한 연구결과는 6인협력그림검사를 실시할 때 개인협력그림요소에서 높은 점수를 얻고 성공적인 제목정하기의 수행한 학생이 협력적 학습유형이 높음을 시사한다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 학교현장에서 인성교육을 위한 6인협력그림검사의 활용방안을 검토하고 이에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study is to introduce six-member collaborative drawing test (S-CDT) for character education and to examine whether individual collaborative art element scale and collaborative learning style were mediated through titling artwork. A total of 114 undergraduate students in Seoul and Chungnam participated in self-reporting questionnaires and group drawing. The path analysis was investigate relationships among individual collaborative art elements, collaborative learning style, and titling artwork analyzed by using SPSS 23.0, AMOS 19.0, and PROCESS macro program. The results of this study was as following. Firstly, individual collaborative art element scale and collaborative learning style were significantly related. Secondly, individual collaborative art elements showed a positive effect on improving collaborative learning style through partially mediating titling artwork. The results indicated titling artwork is important to predict participant’s collaborative tendency after collaborative team work. For the future research of this study would need to be tested for size of group members of diverse population.

      • 도입부 수업대화의 분석적 연구

        The purpose of this Study is to find the aspects of communication in the classroom through analysis on linguistic interaction of introductory conversations between teacher and students. I divided the part of introductive conversations into a general process of class, the function of language, the analysis on conversation, and so on, then I interpreted their meanings. First, I classified the proceeded aspects of introductory conversations into greeting each other, reviewing things that students learned before, checking the state of preparation for the lesson, motivating students to participate in the class work actively, and showing the object of study. There was 'Showing the Object of Study' in every class, but the other process was often omitted. In general, a teacher asks students, and then students answer to the question in the classroom. This was the difference between conversations in the classroom and general conversations that most of attendees participated in on an equal footing. The second, I investigated the function of language and the structure of sentences, and I classified them into the function of transmitting information, ordering, expression, and showing intimacy The function of ordering that a teacher had students read or present something in most cases was used in class. The next function used much in the classroom was the function of expression and showing intimacy in order to explain contents to students or make the students understand those, to generate active attendance and pleasure, to make them remind something that the teacher spoke or taught and to emphasize something. Interrogative and imperative sentences in the view of the structure of sentences were mainly used. Conversations in the classroom had specialties that were colloquial and literary simultaneously. I found the sign of changing a subject much when a teacher proceeded the next step in class. The last, I classified introductive conversations in the view of analysis on conversation into Act, Move, Exchange, Topic and so on. Frequency of Act with teacher was Motivating, Ordering and Informing in order, but Act with students were mainly response. Because teacher first asked pupils a question in introductive conversations in most occasions and then the pupils responded to the question, Starting Move was found to teacher, and Responding Move was mostly found to Pupils. Teacher's ordering, motivating, confirming, restarting, and summing in the aspects of Exchange was found in most cases but the aspects were often a little different. When I summed up the three aspects above mentioned, the process of class and the aspects of analysis on conversations were similar. When I investigated the aspects of the function of language and procedure in class, the aspects of the function of language in the process of class were almost similar. I also found Act depending on the function of language was nearly similar. I tried to reveal the shape of introductive conversations in real Korean language class and analyze using language between teacher and students. I also tried to reveal the function and structure of which language was used in class, then analyze conversations through the revealed function and structure and describe that. I expect that this study would help teachers to understand the linguistic aspects of conversations in class that teachers couldn't correctly understand before, objectively and systematically, especially about introductive conversations, although teachers always do in the classroom.

      • 후두 편평상피암종의 림프절 피막외 침범에 대한 FDG PET/CT 영상의 유용성

        Backgrounds:To evaluated the use of FDG PET/CT for the identification of extracapsular spread(ECS) with histologic correlation in laryngeal cancer. Methods:We reviewed 79 medical records of patients who under-went of FDG PET/CT for laryngeal cancer before surgery. Results:ECS was present in 41.9%(18/43) dis-sected necks and in 34.5%(20/58) dissected cervical levels. There was a significant difference in the SUVmax between cervical lymph nodes with ECS and without ECS(6.39±4.53 vs. 1.19±1.64, p<0.001). The cut-off value for the SUVmax for differentiating with ECS from without ECS was 2.8 with the sensitivity of 85.7% and the specificity of 85.6%. Conclusion:The median SUVmax cut-off values of FDG PET/CT higher than 2.8 was associated with greater risk cervical lymph node metastasis with ECS in patients with laryngeal cancer.
