      • 비강 및 비인두에 발생한 도립유두종과 편평상피암종의 p53단백 및 세포증식능에 관한 연구

        The inverted papilloma and squamous cell carcinoma are common neoplasia in the sinonasal cavity and nasopharynx, but the incidence of these tumors are very low and the study on the oncogenesis or biological activity of the tumor cells are not well known. This study was designed to evaluate the oncogenic roles of the p53 gene and the proliferative activity of the tumor cells in the inflammatory polyp, inverted papilloma and squamous cell carcinoma. The experiment was carried by the immunohistochemical stains about the p53 protein, PCNA and Ki-67, histochemical stain about the AgNORs. and flow cytometric analysis about the DNA ploidy using the formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissues. The frequency of the expression of p53 protein was 0%(0/16 cases) in the inflammatory polyps, 18.8% (3/16 cases) in the inverted papillomas, and 87.5%(14/16 cases) in the squamous cell carcinomas. The labelling index(%) of the PCNA and Ki-67 was 5.3% and 3.3% in the inflammatoy polyps, 29.6% and 25.2% in the inverted papillomas, and 51.9% and 36.8% in the squamous cell carcinoma. The expression of the PCNA and Ki-67 was distributed in the periphery of the tumor islands of the inverted papilloma and was distributed in the both of center and periphery of the tumor islands of the squamous cell carcinoma. The number of nuclear AgNORs was increased in the order of inflammatory polyps (0.96), inverted papillomas(1.34) and squamous cell carcinoma(2.09). The frequency of the DNA aneuploidy was 0%(0/16 cases) in the inflammatory polyps, 18.8%(3/16 cases) in the inverted papillomas. and 12.5%(2/16 cases) in the squamous cell carcinomas. Above results indicates that the changes of the p53 gene and proliferative activity of the tumor cells are involved on the oncogenesis and the biological activity of the inverted papilloma or squamous cell carcinoma in the nasopharynx and sinonasa cavity.

        외상에 의하여 함입된 상악 중절치의 교정적 견인

        외상에 의한 치아의 함입은 치아가 치조골 방향으로 변위되어 있는 상태이다. 함입성 탈구는 다른 유형의 탈구성 손상에 비하여 드물게 발생하고, 낙상에 의한 경우가 많으며, 소녀보다는 소년에서 호발하는 것으로 보고되었다. 치아가 함입되었을 때, 치수괴사나 유착, 치근흡수, 근관폐쇄, 변연골 상실 등과 같은 합병증이 발생할 수 있으며, 치아 경조직과 치아 지지조직 등의 손상이 동반되는 경우가 흔하므로, 예후를 예측하고 정확한 진단 및 치료계획을 수립하는데 어려움이 있다. 함입된 치아의 치료는 자발적으로 재맹출하기를 기다리거나, 교정적 견인 또는 외과적으로 재위치 시키는 방법이 있다. 이 증례는 외상으로 인하여 상악 좌측 중절치가 함입되었다는 주소로 내원한 6세 7개월 된 여아에서, 함입된 치아의 자발적인 맹출을 기대하였으나 맹출이 되지 않아서, 교정적으로 견인하여 맹출시킨 경우로 양호한 결과를 얻었기에 이를 보고하는 바이다. Traumatic intrusion is a type of injury that involves axial displacement of a tooth toward the alveolar bone. Its occurance is relatively rare compared to other types of luxation in permanent dentition. It is more common in boys than in girls, and most common etiology of intrusion is fallen down. Various complication may occur following traumatic intrusion, such as pulp necrosis, root resorption, pulp obliteration and marginal bone loss. In addition, traumatic intrusion is commonly combined with hard or soft tissue injuries. Therefore, it is difficult to establish proper treatment plan. Choice of treatment for an intruded tooth by trauma include waiting for spontaneous re-eruption, orthodontic repositioning, and surgical repositioning. In this case, we repositioned the intruded central incisor using orthodontic traction, in a six-year old girl, which failed to re-erupt spontaneously.

      • 반측안면소체증의 측두골 전산화 단층촬영소견

        Hemifacial microsomia(HFM) is a craniofacial disorder and complex malformation syndrome with a variable and asymmetric malformation involving first and second pharyngeal arch derivatives. Multiple etiological mechanisms for HFM have been considered. Mechanisms proposed include genetic factors, early embryogenesis insults involving abnormal neural crest development and migration, and stapedial artery hematoma. HFM is the second most common craniofacial malformation but has been rarely reported in korea, and we report five cases of HFM in temporal bone CT findings. The temporal bone CT findings of five patients aged 6 days and 19 years(mean, 9 years) with hemifacial microsomia were reviewed and evaluated. Particular attention was focused on auricular malformation, external auditory canal, volume of middle ear cavity, ossicular anomaly, facial nerve anomaly and inner ear anomaly. In all patients, temporal bone CT scans revealed the stenosis or atresia of external auditory canals, decreased middle ear cavities, matoid underdevelopment and ossicular anomalies including ossicular ankylosis, but only one patient showed facial nerve or inner ear anomaly. In conclusion, temporal bone CT scan is a useful diagnosis modality of hemifacial microsomia, which is especially more useful in preoperative evaulation and estimation of postoperative prognosis that demonstate middle and inner ear anomalies.

        슬러지 전처리와 고농도 MBR을 이용한 슬러지 감량화 공정연구

        From this research, the performances of a sludge reduction in the sewage sludge aerobic digestion was experimented by using a sludge pretreatment and membrane bioreactor. The submerged plate membrane was used as the solid-liquid separation membrane . After drawing small amounts of sludge in a bioreactor and then doing the alkaline treatment and ozone treatment, the sludge was sent to back to the reactor. The HRT in the reactor was set as 5 days and the operation in the reactor was carried out at the DO of 1㎎/L on average. After 100 days of operation in the reactor, it was shown that the reduction efficiency of total solids was more than 83%. Most of volatile solids were removed through mineralization, and the considerable portion of the nonvolatile solids was dissolved and then flowed out with the effluent. Only about 16.3% of total solids in the sludge was accmulated in the reactor even without the loss of volatile fraction. Also, by deriving nitrification and denitrification in one reactor simultaneously, more than 90% of nitrogen removal effect was realized and the experiment was run smoothly without fouling of membrane, even in the high concentration of MLSS. Based on this experiment. sludge can be reduced considerably at a low HRT by these two newly suggested approach.

        The YBa_2Cu_3O_x-20 wt% Y_2BaCuO_5 composition designed in YBCO system was synthesized by solid state reaction method. The optimum condition of hot zone temperature and growth rate in floating-zone melt were 1080 ℃ and 2.5 mm/hour, respectively. In samples growth as these condition, the low angel boundaries in grain direction and small amount of amorphous phase known as decreasing characteristics of superconducting materials between grain boundaries in microstructure are investigated by polarized light microscopy on the whole. The critical current density(Jc) at 77k of sample using powder fabricated with no CeO_2 and doped 5 wt%CeO_2 were 8,000 A/㎠(Jc : 561A) and 12,000 A/㎠(Jc: 826A) at 0 T by direct current transport method, respectively.

      • 재발 또는 불응성 비호즈킨 림프종 환자에서 CDME 구제항암화학요법 후 고용량 항암화학요법 및 자가말초혈액 조혈모세포이식의 효과

        Background and objectives : The long-term survival in patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) after conventional dose chemotherapy is about 35% and the rest of the patients tend to have relapse. So, in relapsed or refractory NHL, we compared the outcome of patients undergoing high-dose chemotherapy with autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation(APBSCT) with only salvage chemotherapy of cisplatin, dexamethasone, mitoxantrone, and etoposide(CDME). Materials and methods : From June 1993 to December 1999, 25 patients with relapsed or resistant NHL were treated with CDME regimen as salvage chemotherapy. Twelve patients were received four cycles of CDME chemotherapy, and 13 patients were received high-dose chemotherapy with APBSCT following two cycles of CDME chemotherapy. Results : The median follow-up duration was 12.8 months(range:4-68). The overall response rate was 41.7% (complete response rate 25%, partial response rate 16.7%) in 12 patients with CDME only. Thirteen patients who were treated with high-dose chemotherapy with APBSCT achieved 61.5% complete response rate and 15.4% partial response rate, with an overall response rate of 76.9%. The estimated 3-year progression-free survival rate was significantly higher among patients who received high-dose therapy than patients who received CDME only(41.5% vs 20.0%, p<0.05). And, 3-year overall survival rate was significantly higher among patients who received high-dose therapy(51.3% vs 25.0%, p <0.05). Conclusions : In relapsed or refractory NHL, CDME chemotherapy is an effective salvage chemotherapy and allow peripheral blood stem cell collection. Also, high-dose chemotherapy with APBSCT following CDME is superior to CDME salvage chemotherapy only.

        The subject of this study apply to KyungSangNamDo Sachun-Si Sachun-bay sea area for builds up a industrial complex, and inquire into the .phenomenon in compared after with before reclamation. I investigated, how to remove these harmful influence and make a estimate that a water-level, flow direction and river-bed evolution by inflow of river, wave's attack. So we have come to the conclusion as follow. 1. Water Level After reclamation, the water-level is ascended, but the water-level is stable after dredging and changing water-course. 2. Velocity of Flow : After reclamation, back water broke out, the velocity of flow was faster after dredging and changing water-course, but the velocity of flow came to be stable in the downstream. 3. River-bed Evolution : After reclamation, the severe erosion occured in the front of revetment, but after d]:edging and changing the water-course as the new stable water-course constituted, river bed evolution decreased and the flood wave flow smoothly. 4. After reclamation, the water-level remarkablely increased, but the velocity of flow was nearly the same.

      • 홍도항의 방파제 배치에 따른 정온도에 관한 실험적 연구

        Through a study as hydraulic model test that applied a calmness test to the coast of Hongdo harbor as an optimal surface arrangement we could reach the following conclusion 1. In case of proposal 1, if an invaded wave is H₁/₃=8.46m, T₁/₃=13.0sec of an each wave direction the harbor calmness is as follows. The wave height ratio is about 0.6 at the entrance of a harbor 0.2∼0.3 anchor area in general and the value under 0.1 when the wave(H₁/₃=2.0m) is invaded as usual. 2. The calmness effect is more favorable by breakwater extension as proposal 2 & 3, but if the high wave is assaulted the wave height ratio of anchor area is 0.1∼0.2 owing to the diffraction wave at a SSE, SE direction. 3. In case of proposal 4 the harbor calmness is considerable satisfactory at ail direction and the wave height ratio of harbor under 0.1 when the high wave is invaded. Thereafter, a study that analyze and compare with the hydraulic model test by numerical analysis about the problem of harbor calmness that a short period wave has superiority will be continued

        DC Servo Motor를 이용한 초정밀 위치결정기구의 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 및 제어성능 평가

        Recently, High accuracy and precision arc required in various industrial field especially, semiconductor manufacturing apparatus, Ulna precision positioning apparatus, Information field and so on. Positioning technology is a very important one among them. As such technology has been rapidly developed, this field needs the positioning accuracy as high as submicron. It is expected that the accuracy of 10nm and 1nm is required in precision work and ultra precision work field, respectively by the beginning of 2000s. High speed and low vibration arc also needed. This work deals with the design method and control system of Ultra precision positioning apparatus. Control perfor-mance and stability analysis were performed in advance by modeling and designing the controller with Simulink.
