        실험적 급성 허혈성 신부전에서 Verapamil 이 혈중 Polyamine 동태에 미치는 영향

        N/A It has been proposd that calcium entry from an external medium increases intracellular free calcium to toxic levels during ischemic acute renal failure, and verapamil (ARF) has been suggested as the agentblocking calicium entry into renal cells and protecting renal function during ischemic injury. Polyamines, anorganic cations that play various roles in normal cellular proliferation and differentiation, accumulate in renal failare. Alsa it has been suggested tht the synthesis and metabolism of polyamine are influence by acute changes of the general condition, such as acute renal failure, and are mediated by a calcium influx into the cells. The study was designed to study the protective effects of systemic verapamil pretreatment on renal function and the influence on polyamine metabolism in experimental ischemic ARF in cats. For these purpose, the experimental animals were divided into 2 groups. While Group I (n=5) was an ischemic ARF model by renal artery clamping for 60 minutes, Group II (n=5) was ischemic ARF with systemic verapamil (5 ml/min/kg) pretreatment. The creatinine clearance and plasma and urinary polyamine were measured in each group before and after the renal artery clamp. The results were as follows: 1) Creatinine clearance before and after the renal artery clamp were 10.64±7.18 ml/min/kg and 2.09±1. 70 ml/min/kg in Group I, 4.47±3.38 ml min/kg and 0.60±0.79ml/min/kg in Group II, respectively, So creatinine clearance decreased more significantly in Group II campared with Group I. 2) Plasma polyamine increased after ischemia in Group I. In group I, plasma levels of putrescine, spermidine, and spermine before ischemia were 4.75±0.40 nmol/ml, 0.69±0.09 nmol/ml, and 0.83±0.63 nmol/ml, were elevated to 7.17±2.91 nmol/ml, 9.83±1.46 nmol/ ml, and 2.64±1.14nmol/ml after ischemia. But in Group II, the plasma level of polyamine was not changed, and especially, spermine decreased significantly from 0.83±0.27 before ischemia to 0.49±0.23 nmol/ml after ischenmine (p=0.033). 3) Urine polyamine excretion decreased after ischemia in Group I and Group II. In Group II, urinary excretion of spermidine and spermine before ischemia, 0.13±0.10 nmol/min and 0.17±0.13nmol/min, decreased after ischemia to 0.01±0.01nmol/min (p=0.019) and 0.032±0.26 nmol/min (p=0.0257). 4) In renal tissue, spermine content vas highest. In Group II, preischemic spermine were 397.20 nmol/g and increased to 646.66nmol/g after ischema, But there were no significant changes in the polyamine contents in Group II. From these data, it was suggested that systemic verapamil pretreatment exerts no protective effect on ischemic ARF. Plasma polyamines are elevated in ischemic ARF, and verapamil may protect these elevations.

      • Enhanced Extraction of trans-Resveratrol from Polygonum cuspidatum by a Combination of Thermal and Enzymatic Treatment

        Resveratrol (RES), a naturally occurring phytoalexin, has been known for health beneficial functions, such as cardioprotective, antihypertensive, and antiaging properties. The root of Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb. et Zucc. (P. cuspidatum) is extensively used as a good source of trans-RES, the most bioavailable form of RES. Our previous study showed an improved conversion rate of piceid (PD) present in grape peel into RES by pre-heating at 95°C for 10 min, followed enzymatic hydrolysis at 50°C for 60 min. In this study, we examined if combined thermal and enzymatic treatment could maximize extractability of PD and RES from P. cuspidatum. Results from this study showed that the treatment of P. cuspidatum with Viscozyme dramatically increased the conversion of PD into RES as well as the entire extractability of RES and PD among several enzymes tested. Furthermore, 60% and 80% ethanolic solvents showed the best extraction yield of RES. The extraction method established in this study is a low-cost green processing strategy and could be applied to maximize extraction of bioactive trans-RES from P. cuspidatum.

        스포츠복지문화 활성화를 위한 정책요인의 우선순위 산정

        본 연구는 스포츠복지문화 활성화를 위한 정책요인에 대해서 AHP를 활용하여 가중치를 도출하고, 향후 어떠한 정책요인부터 우선적으로 실현해야 하는지에 대한 제언하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 김민규와 송정란(2018)이 연구한 스포츠복지문화 활성화를 위한 정책요인들을 활용하여 우선순위 산정을 실시하였다. 이에 따른 주요 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 계층 1은 정책 요인이, 둘째, 계층 2의 하위계층은 서비스전달체계 요인이, 셋째, 계층 2 중 정책 요인의 하위계층은 서비스전달체계 요인이, 넷째, 계층 2 중 인프라 요인은 콘텐츠웨어 인프라 요인이, 다섯째, 층 2 중 연구개발 요인은 전문가양성운영체계 요인이, 여섯째, 정책 요인의 계층 3 중 유관 법안 개정 요인은 관련 법안의 지원에 대한 논의 요인이, 일곱째, 정책 요인의 계층 3 중 정책개발 요인은 스포츠복지 정책사업 개발 요인이, 여덟째, 정책 요인의 계층 3 중 인식개선 요인은 지자체 및 유관기관의 복지적 관점 증진 요인이, 아홉째, 정책 요인의 계층 3 중 서비스전달체계 요인은 행정지원 부처 결정 및 역할 정립 요인이, 열 번째, 정책 요인의 계층 3 중 예산관련 요인은 예산확보방안 요인이, 열한 번째, 인프라 요인의 계층 3 중 하드웨어 인프라 요인은 기존 스포츠 시설 활용의 효율성 제고 요인이, 열두 번째, 인프라 요인의 계층 3 중 휴먼웨어 인프라 요인은 스포츠복지 강사충원 요인이, 열세 번째, 인프라 요인의 계층 3 중 콘텐츠웨어 인프라 요인은 스포츠복지 프로그램 개발 요인이, 열네 번째, 연구개발 요인의 계층 3 중 전문가 양성 운영체계 요인은 스포츠복지학의 교육과정 개발 요인이, 열다섯 번째, 연구개발 요인의 계층 3 중 기초자료 조사 요인은 스포츠와 복지 전문가의 상호교류 요인이, 열여섯 번째, 연구개발 요인의 계층 3 중 기획연구개발 요인은 스포츠복지 대체 프로그램 개발요인이 최우선 고려되어야 하는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 정책과정 전반과 학문의 유기적 결합에 도움이 될 것이다. 추후 학계와 현장의 의견 교류 및 비교분가 가능한 질적연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study is to identify the weight of the policy factors by using AHP for the purpose of activating sports welfare culture and make suggestions as to which policy factors should be implemented in the future. For this, priorities were set for the policy factors for activating sports welfare culture as studied by Kim Min-Kyu and Song Jung-Ran (2018). The key conclusions were as follows. First, for layer 1, it is the policy factors that top priority should be given to. Second, for the sublayer of layer 2, it is service delivery system. Third, for the sublayer of policy factors for layer 2, it is service delivery system. Fourth, for the infrastructure factor, it is content ware infrastructure. Fifth, for the R&D factor of layer 2, it is professionals training system. Sixth, for the related legislative amendment in layer 3 of the policy factors, it is the discussion of supports for related legislative proposals. Seventh, for the policy development factor in layer 3 of the policy factors, it is sports welfare policy project development. Eighth, for improved perception in layer 3 of the policy factors, it is the greater focus on welfare with local governments and related agencies. Ninth, for service delivery system factor in layer 3 of the policy factors, it is the determination of the government ministry and its roles for administrative supports. Tenth, for budget in layer 3 of the policy factors, it is how to get budget. Eleventh, for hardware infrastructure in layer 3 of the infrastructure factors, it is the increase of efficiency in using the existing sports facilities. Twelfth, for human ware infrastructure in layer 3 of the infrastructure factors, it is the recruit of sports welfare instructors. Thirteenth, for content ware infrastructure in layer 3 of the infrastructure factors, it is the development of sports welfare programs. Fourteenth, for the professional training and operation system in layer 3 of the R&D factors, it is the development of a curriculum for sports welfare studies. Fifteenth, for basic data research in layer 3 of the R&D factors, it is the mutual exchange between sports and welfare professionals. Sixteenth, for planning and R&D in layer 3 of the R&D factors, it is the development of alternative programs in sports welfare. The results of the study will be helpful in organically combining the policy course as a whole with the academic disciplines in general.

        The presence of ultrasonic wave in caustic cleaning process enhances the remove pollutants, and more homogeneous, textured structure. The silicon wafers, cleaning in Deconex OF 145 solution (0.5~2wt %) with DIW under ultrasonic environment for 5 min. The presence of uniform thin layer of SiO2 on c-Si surface enhances etching rate in the caustic etching mixture solution of NaOH (1.5 wt %), DI water and IPA (6 wt %) at 90℃ for 20 min and results in a fine, more homogeneous and small textured structure.

      • A Quantitative A naly sis of the Fire Hazard Generated from Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles

        There is a lack of information on (i) the potential fire load of new green-technology vehicles, (ii) flame spread behavior, (iii) thermal impacts on high-pressure hydrogen storage vessels (HSVs) and lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) during fuel cell electric vehicles fires (FCEVs), and (iv) thermal damage to adjacent vehicles and upper structural members during FCEV fires occurring in civil structures, such as underground spaces, multi-story parks, and tunnels. In view of this, a full-scale fire test was conducted in this study to quantitatively assess the fire risk of hydrogen FCEVs. Large-scale cone calorimetry was used to quantify the thermal intensity released from the FCEV fire. The flame spreading behavior through an FCEV with HSVs and LIBs was observed using the thermocouples installed. Changes in the temperature and irradiance around the FCEV fire were also measured using an instrumented test rig. The peak heat release rate, total heat released, and fire growth rate were observed to be 5.99 MW, 11.8 GJ, and 0.0055 kW/s², respectively. The temporal point of hydrogen gas release from the HSVs' thermal pressure relief device (TPRD) was estimated to be 16.2-26.2 min. The initiation of thermal runaway of LIBs was deduced from the temperature-time profiles of the LIB modules and their metal housing approximately 22.2 min after HCEV ignition. Moreover, FCEV fires could thermally impair adjacent upper structural members by 800 ℃ combustion gas for at least 13 min and emit a median heat flux of 27.2 kW/m² (peak heat flux of 76.5 kW/m²) to adjacent vehicles. The measurements and findings obtained from this study can contribute to the evaluation of and further studies on newly emerging fire hazards.

        밀링 에너지 변화에 따른 TiC 분말의 미세화 거동에 관한 정량적 연구

        This study investigated refinement behaviors of TiC powders produced under different impact energy conditions using a mechanical milling process. The initial coarse TiC powders with an average diameter of 9.3 ${\mu}m$ were milled for 5, 20, 60 and 120 mins through the conventional low energy mechanical milling (LEMM, 22G) and specially designed high energy mechanical milling (HEMM, 65G). TiC powders with angular shape became spherical one and their sizes decreased as the milling time increased, irrespective of milling energy. Based upon the FE-SEM and BET results of milled powders, it was found initial coarse TiC powders readily became much finer near 100 nm within 60 min under HEMM, while their sizes were over 200 nm under LEMM, despite the long milling time of up to 120 min. Particularly, ultra-fine TiC powders with an average diameter of 77 nm were fabricated within 60 min in the presence of toluene under HEMM.

        전처리 방법에 따른 하수슬러지 가용화 비교연구

        The pretreatment process was carried out to solubilize the sewage sludge for enhancing its biodegradability using alkaline treatment, ultrasonic treatment(l5kHz), ozone treatment and different combination of these three methods: alkaline followed by ultrasonic as well as ozone, and ultrasonic followed by alkaline. The solubilization efficiency was evaluated based on the SCOD/TCOD ratio and VSS/TS ratio. In results, the proper condition of alkaline treatment was shown as 30meq/l of NaOH, pH 12 and 3hours of reaction time. Solubilization efficiency increased to 17% from initial 2% based on SCOD/TCOD ratio under this condition. In ultrasonic treatment, the higher ultrasonic power, the longer treatment time and the lower sludge volume resulted in higher solubilization respectively. There was a rapid increase in solubilization efficiency after 20 minute, then it was measured as 32% of SCOD/TCOD ratio in 1 hour at a ultrasonic power of 1,300W with 1/sludge. Solubilization efficiencies in combined treatment using alkaline and ultrasonic were 47-53% higher than single treatment at a sonicated time of 1 hour. Ozone treatment followed by alkaline treatment also represented the enhanced solubilization compared to ozone treatment. Therefore, ultrasonic or ozone treatment assisted by alkaline could achieve the short treatment time as well as high solubilizetion efficiency.

      • 항원결합에서 항-Z-DNA 단클론항체 Z44의 재조합 중쇄 및 경쇄 가변영역의 역할

        It has long been known that both heavy(VH) and light chain variable region(VL) of antibody are involved in antigen binding. Recently, reports for anti-DNA Abs such as Z22 and Hed-10 have revealed that VH chain is more important than VL in recoginizing antigen. However, it is not certain yet whether the VH chain alone of these specific anti-DNA antibodies has dominant role or such dominance of VH chain can be applicable to other anti-DNA Abs. To investigate this possibility in connection with the role and contribution of VL chain, experiments were performed using mAb Z44 which binds to Z-DNA but rocognizes different epitopes from Z22 which share 95% sequence homology. The recombinant proteins including Z44VH and Z44VL were produced by E.coli. After purification of the these antibodies, the affinity and specificity of recombinant Ab proteins to DNA antigens were tested. The results were as follows; Z44VH bound most strongly to Z-DNA and bound also to ssDNA, whereas Z44VL did not bind to B-DNA, ssDNA, and Z-DNA. In vitro association of Z44VH with Z44VL has increased the affinity to Z-DNA synergistically compared with Z44VVH alone. In the case of association of Z22VH with Z22VL affinity to Z-DNA has showed synergistic increment compared with Z22VH alone. However, the associations of Z44VH with Z22VL or Z22VH with Z44VL did not show any significant increments of affinity. From our findings that Z44VH alone could bind to Z-DNA or to ssDNA and that Z 44VL could not, it could be concluded that Z44VH has dominant role in recognizing the antigen. In addition, it may be suggested that Z44VL can increase the affinity of Z44VH and play some role in changing the specificity of Z44VH.

        동측에 발생한 대퇴골 경부 및 간부 골절의 치료

        목적: 동측의 대퇴골 경부 골절과 간부 골절이 동반된 경우에서 수술적 치료에 대해 본원에서 실시한 수술 방법들의 결과를 분석하였다. 대상 및 방법: 수술 후 1년 이상 추시 관찰이 가능하였던 11례를 대상으로 하였으며 경부 골절은 Garden 제 1형이 3례, 제 2형이 6례, 제 3형이 1례, 제 4형이 1례였다. 간부 골절은 중간부가 7례, 원위부가 4례였다. 추시 기간은 최소 1년 이상으로 평균 33개월이었고 11례 전부가 남자였으며 나이는 22세에서 54세로 평균 38세였다. 각 수술 방법에 따른 수술시간을 측정하였으며 방사선학으로 골유합의 시기, 부정유합, 불유합 등을 평가하였고 임상적으로는 골절부의 동통 및 관절 운동장애를 평가하였다. 결과: 치료 방법으로는 경부는 다발성 피고정술이 8례, 활강압방 고 나사못고정술이 1례였으며 간부의 경우는 중간부는 역행적 Ender정 고정술이 4례 , 금속판 고정술이 1례, 재건상 골수강내 고정술이 2례, 역행적 금속정 고정술이 1례였고, 원위부는 금속판 고정술이 1례, 역행적 교합성 금속정 고정술이 3례였다. 평균 수술시간은 재건상 골수강내 골종술이 180분, 다발성 핀고정술 및 금속판 고정술이 220분, 다발성 핀고정술 및 역행적 골수강내 고정술이 200분이었다. 골유합 기간은 간부 골절의 경우 평균 5개월이었다. 경부 골절에 대한 합병증으로는 간부 골절에 대해서 Ender정 고정술을 한 1례와 간부에 금속판 고정술을 한 후 지연진단되어 경부에 다발성 핀고정술을 한 1례에서 대퇴골두에 무혈성 괴사증이 병발하였으며 재건상 골수강내 금속정 삽입술을 한 1례에서 수술시 경부 골절의 정복소실이 있었으며 간부 골절에 대한 합병증으로는 역행적 금속정 고정술을 한 2례 (Ender정 1례와 교합성 금속정 1례)에서 불유합이 생겨서 금속판 고정술 및 자가골이식술로 대치하였다. 그리고 Ender정 고정술을 한 1례에서 지속적인 슬관절 주위 동통이 있었다. 결론: 대퇴골 경부 골절과 동측의 간부 골절이 동반된 경우의 수술적 치료에서 재건상 골수강내 금속 고정술은 기술적으로 어려움이 많아서 경부와 간부의 치료를 각각 하는 것이 기술적으로 쉬웠다. 수술시는 경부 골절의 수술을 먼저 하여도 고정에 어려움이 없었으며 간부 골절은 분쇄 골절이 많기 때문에 견고한 내고정이 필요하였다. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analysis the result of operative treatment in ipsilateral femur neck and shaft fracuture. Material and Methods: Eleven cases of ipsilateral femur neck and shaft fractures were operated and followed more than 1 year. There were 11 men and mean age at index operation was 38 years (range 22~54). In neck fracture there were 3 of type Ⅰ, 6 of type Ⅱ, and 1 of typeⅢ according to Garden classification, shaft fractures were located an middle 1/3 (7 cases), at distal 1/3 (4 cases). We evaluated the operation time, union time, nonunion, malunion, and clinical evaluation with pain and joint stiffness. Result: In neck fractures treatment methods were 8 of multiple pinning, 2 of reconstruction nail and 1 of CHS, in shaft fractures 2 of DCP, 7 of retrograde nailing (3 Ender nail, 4 interlocking nail). The mean operation time was 180 minutes in reconstruction nail, 220 minutes in multiple pinning and DCP and 200 minutes in multiple pinning and retrograde nailing. The mean time for shaft union was 5 months. The complications were 1 case of neck reduction loss during operation in reconstruction nailing group, 1 of persistant pain around knee in Ender nailing group. Conclusion: The author think that reconstruction nail fixation is technically difficult, thus neck and shaft fracture be fixed individually. Neck fracture can be fixed first without difficulty and shaft fractures should be fixed rigidly due to comminution.

      • 사과의 열과원인에 관한 조사연구

        It is very important to eliminate the immense economic loss caused by cracking in apples through examining the causes of cracking and divising a possible method of prevention of it. Several investigators published their findings on the causes of the cracking of apples which develop on the skin of Ralls apples. However, no definite conclusions or established methods of prevention have been published to this date. Therefore, in this study the causes of the cracking of apples are examined through the use of several methods: (a) the histological and physiological, (b) the microelemental, and (c) the natural environmental. The results are as follows: 1). At the early stage of growth, the thicknesses of the cuticle, as well as of the subepidermis, were the same in Ralls apples without envelopes, Ralls with envelopes, and Jonathan. However. at maturity. the thicknesses differed in the following manner; Ralls apples without envelopes were thickest: Ralls envelopes were less thick than those without envelopes; while Jonathan apples were thinest. 2). Although in the Ralls without envelopes the epidermis is arranged in a brick wall like layer during maturity, in the middle of August the brick wall like epidermis begins to collapse and is surrounded by the cuticle. The process of cracking seems to start with the lenticle and the fruit spot. 3). The rate of cracking was slowed by application of a mixture of IAA and Bordeaux mixture solution, but cracking was not completely halted by this treatment. 4). The stem of a branch laden with apples was put into a solution containing Mn-54, and after absorption took place the distribution of Mn-54 was measured. The results of the measurements were as follows; the bark contained the most Mn-54; the leaves contained the second largest quantitiy; and the apples has the least. 5). The two orchards which were tested tended to have a low soil pH, and a high concentration of soil-solution Mn. 6). The soil with a high rate of cracking tended to have a high pH, which the soil with a low rate had a low pH. 7). In trees with a high rate of cracking, the amount of Mn in the leaves was equal to the amount in the stalk. However, in trees with a low rate of cracking, the amount of Mn in the leaves tended to be high compared with that found in the stalk. 8). The epidermis of the Ralls had a high Ca content than the epidermis of the Johnathan. 9). The epidermis of cracked apples tended to have a higher content of Ca, K,P, Cu and Fe than the epidermis of sound apples. 10). Amoug the apples tested, 11% cracked during the course of the year, with the cracking starting in the middle of Sept. 1969, This low percentage of cracking can be attributed to the small amount of rain during harvest time (late Sept. and October). The total of the added temperature during May, June, and July was 1962℃. 11). Cracking occurred more frequently in apples on the periphery of the tree, in well-colored apples, on the south side of the apples, and on the cheeks of the apples. These occurrances can perhaps be attributed to the amount of sunlight. 12). In the trees tested with newspaper envelops, cracking occurred in 1.9% of the apples with envelopes, and in 11.9% of the apples without envelopes.
