        드론의 사회적 안정화와 잠재성 확대를 둘러싼 논의들 - 드론 법 제정 과정과 언론, 시민, 예술가의 실천들을 중심으로

        This study examines the problems caused by the process of drones becoming absorbed into society and gaining social acceptance from the perspectives of medium stabilization and the expansion of potential. Two problems caused by drones are the invasion of privacy and the threat to public safety. The key issue related to these problems is whether drones can be regulated by existing aviation laws. The ICAO and FAA intended to regulate drones according to aviation laws by changing the definition of an aircraft to include the concepts of remote communication and wireless control, thereby defining drones as aircrafts. However, changing the legal definition of an aircraft was insufficient because the problems caused by drones originate not only from their operation but also from the cameras mounted onto them. In order to regulate illegal drone shooting, the division between private and public territories and the definition of ownership thereof had to be changed. Moreover, geographical boundaries were converted into technically interpreted boundaries. Attempts to operate drones freely outside of government control continue, and drone journalism is a representative practice. Overturning information asymmetry, drones have achieved positive expansion as a medium that balances the power between individuals and the authorities in the realm of drone journalism. However, although drones are securing their ground as a tool for journalism, they are not free from the conflicts between the value of the freedom of expression and the provision of information and such issues as public safety and privacy. In Trevor Paglen's work, a drone is an automated visual machine that transforms humans, the main agents of image production, into data and objects of surveillance, and separates the sky from the ground as the realm of the surveillant. Hence, the medium of photography is not a tool for the objective recording of the world but is converted into a tool for data collection and interpretation 본 논문은 드론이 항공사진의 생산을 위해 사용되면서 발생한 논의와 실천들을 드론의 안정화 그리고 잠재성의 확장이라는 관점에서 고찰하고자 한다. 먼저 드론이 야기한 문제로 사생활 침해와 공공 안전의 위협을 들 수 있는데, 이를 통제하기 위해서는 드론을 기존의 항공법으로 규제할 수 있는가가 핵심 문제였다. 국제민간항공기구와 미국연방항공청은 항공기를 원격 통신과 무선 조정을 포함하는 개념으로 변경함으로써 드론을 항공기로 규정하고 항공법에 따라 규제하고자 했다. 그러나 드론으로 발생되는 문제는 드론 운항뿐만 아니라 드론에 탑재된 카메라로부터 비롯되는 것이기 때문에 항공기의 법적 정의를 바꾸는 것만으로 충분하지 않았다. 불법적인 드론 촬영을 규제하기 위해서는 사적, 공적 영역의 구분과 소유권의 정의를 변경할 수밖에 없었으며, 지리적인 경계를 기술적으로 해석된 경계로 전환하기도 했다. 드론을 정부의 통제 밖에서 자유롭게 운용하려는 시도들은 계속되고 있는데, 드론 저널리즘이 대표적인 실천이라고 할 수 있다. 드론 저널리즘에서 드론은 정보의 비대칭성을 전복하여 권력과 개인 간의 힘의 균형을 맞추는 매체로서 긍정적 확장을 이루었다. 그러나 드론이 저널리즘을 위한 도구로 자리를 잡아가고 있음에도 불구하고 표현의 자유와 정보의 제공이라는 가치와 공공의 안전과 사생활 보호 문제 간의 충돌에서 자유롭지 않다. 예술가 파글렌의 작업에서 드론은 이미지 생산의 주체인 인간을 감시 대상과 데이터로 전환시킨 자동화된 시각 기계이자 하늘을 지상과 분리시켜 감시자의 영역으로 만든 존재이다. 이는 사진이라는 매체가 세계를 객관적으로 기록하는 도구가 아니라 데이터 수집과 해석을 위한 도구로 전환되고 있음을 의미한다.

        레이저 클래딩법을 이용한 AISI 316L 스테인리스강 내 Y<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>입자의 분산거동

        The present work investigated the dispersion behavior of $Y_2O_3$ particles into AISI 316L SS manufactured using laser cladding technology. The starting particles were produced by high energy ball milling in 10 min for prealloying, which has a trapping effect and homogeneous dispersion of $Y_2O_3$ particles, followed by laser cladding using $CO_2$ laser source. The phase and crystal structures of the cladded alloys were examined by XRD, and the cross section was characterized using SEM. The detailed microstructure was also studied through FE-TEM. The results clearly indicated that as the amount of $Y_2O_3$ increased, micro-sized defects consisted of coarse $Y_2O_3$ were increased. It was also revealed that homogeneously distributed spherical precipitates were amorphous silicon oxides containing yttrium. This study represents much to a new technology for the manufacture and maintenance of ODS alloys.

        The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of electrolyte compositions on electrodeposited copper foil. First of all, the polyimide substrate was pretreated with plasma. Finally, copper foil was deposited on a Cu/Ni/Polyimide substrate using the electroplating technique. As the quantity of Cu increased, preferred orientations changed into (111). Increasing sulfuric acid, on the other hand, brought down the preferred orientation of (111). The lowest sheet resistance, surface roughness, and fine adhesion were detected when the ratio of Cu2+ and H2SO4 is 50:50(g/l).

This paper aims to show the networks of technology and society recorded in one Aerial Photography of George Lawrence’s < San Francisco in Ruins >. The structure of this paper is as follows. Chapter 1 shows the stages of professionalization and commercialization of photo studios through George Lawrence’s activities. Chapter 2 describes the process of accumulation of aerial photography technology history to Lawrence and the process of aerial photography technology being appropriated from the initial aim to the new purpose. Chapter 3 explains how George Lawrence’s studio was specialized based on industrial background at that time. Lastly, in Chapter 4, we will see the process of the government and academia taking notice of aerial photographs as a record tool for historical events and the improvement of the photographs through the government’s request for official records besides industrial demand. Based on this, we will investigate the formation process of media and the meaning that aerial photographs have as hybrid networks creatures.

        밀링 에너지 변화에 따른 TiC 분말의 미세화 거동에 관한 정량적 연구

        This study investigated refinement behaviors of TiC powders produced under different impact energy conditions using a mechanical milling process. The initial coarse TiC powders with an average diameter of 9.3 ${\mu}m$ were milled for 5, 20, 60 and 120 mins through the conventional low energy mechanical milling (LEMM, 22G) and specially designed high energy mechanical milling (HEMM, 65G). TiC powders with angular shape became spherical one and their sizes decreased as the milling time increased, irrespective of milling energy. Based upon the FE-SEM and BET results of milled powders, it was found initial coarse TiC powders readily became much finer near 100 nm within 60 min under HEMM, while their sizes were over 200 nm under LEMM, despite the long milling time of up to 120 min. Particularly, ultra-fine TiC powders with an average diameter of 77 nm were fabricated within 60 min in the presence of toluene under HEMM.

        왕가위(王家衛) 영화의 공간 특성 연구: 홍콩도시 공간을 중심으로

        This paper analyzes the spatial representations constructed by reality, filming, and narrative in the works of Hong Kong film director Wong Kar-wai, and how these spaces influence Hong Kong's urban culture, perception, and interpersonal relationships. To analyze Wong Kar-wai's films, Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotics concepts and Paul Virilio's spatial concepts were applied. Through this, we examined how the meaning embedded in the spatial representations of Wong Kar-wai's films could become a crucial factor in their success. Wong Kar-wai focused on the values of human relationships formed by society in his subject expression, directly representing the human inner world and prompting audiences to think about it. In this paper, we categorized the spaces depicted in Wong Kar-wai's films as public, private, and connective spaces, and analyzed them as a means to show the living environment and emotions of Hong Kong's youth. Through this, we determined that the spatial representations in Wong Kar-wai's films effectively demonstrate the cultural interpretation function of Hong Kong's citizen consciousness at the junction of Eastern and Western cultures and social connections. In conclusion, Wong Kar-wai's works provide a rich understanding of contemporary people's lives, emotions, and urban spaces, offering valuable insights into Hong Kong's film industry and cultural values. 본 논문은 홍콩 영화감독 왕가위의 작품에서 현실, 촬영, 서사로 구성된 공간 표현과 그러한 공간이 홍콩의 도시문화, 인식 및 사람 간 관계에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 분석한다. 왕가위 감독의 영화를 분석하기 위해 찰스 샌더스 퍼스의 기호학 개념과 폴 비릴리오의 공간 개념을 적용하였다. 이를 통해 왕가위 감독의 영화 공간에 내포한 의미가 어떻게 영화 성공의 중요한 요소가 될 수 있었는지를 살펴보았다. 왕가위 감독은 주제 표현에서 사회가 형성한 인륜이라는 가치에 초점을 맞추어 인간 정신세계를 직접적으로 표현하며 관객들로 하여금 그에 대해 사고하게 하였다. 이 논문에서는 왕가위 감독의 영화에서 표현한 공간을 공공, 개인 그리고 연결공간으로 구분하여 홍콩 젊은이들의 주거 환경과 정서를 보여주는 수단으로 분석하였다. 이를 통해 왕가위 감독의 영화 속 공간 표현이 홍콩 시민 의식의 동서양 문화와 사회적 연결 지점에서 문화 해석 기능을 잘 보여주고 있다고 판단하였다. 결론적으로, 왕가위 감독의 작품은 동시대 사람들의 삶과 감정, 도시 공간에 대한 풍부한 이해를 제공하며, 홍콩의 영화 산업과 문화적 가치에 대한 중요한 통찰력을 제공하고 있다.

        기계적 밀링 공정에 의해 제조된 Al-B<sub>4</sub>C 복합분말의 밀링 거동 연구

        In the present work, Al-$B_4C$ composite powders were fabricated using a mechanical milling process and its milling behaviors and mechanical properties as functions of $B_4C$ sizes ( $100{\mu}m$, 500 nm and 50 nm) and concentrations (1, 3 and 10 wt.%) were investigated. For achieving it, composite powders and their compacts were fabricated using a planetary ball mill machine and magnetic pulse compaction technology. Al-$B_4C$ composite powders represent the most uniform dispersion at a milling speed of 200 rpm and a milling time of 240 minutes. Also, the smaller $B_4C$ particles were presented, the more excellent compositing characteristics are exhibited. In particular, in the case of the 50 nm $B_4C$ added compact, it showed the highest values of compaction density and hardness compared with the conditions of $100{\mu}m$ and 500 nm additions, leading to the enhancement its mechanical properties.

        Recently, the requirement for the ultra thin copper foil increases with smaller and miniaturized electronic components. Therefore, it is important to examine the surface state of substrate depending on the processing parameter during the anodic oxidation. This study investigated the effect of the various electrolyte concentrations on anodizing of titanium anode prior to copper electrodeposition. Different surface morphology of anodized titanium was obtained at different electrolytic concentration 0.5 M to 3.0 M. In addition, the effect that the surfaces and the electrical characteristics on the electrodeposited copper layer was observed. In this study, surface anodized in the group containing 0.5M H2SO4 shows more uniform copper crystals with low surface roughness. the surface roughness and sheet resistance for 0.5M H2SO4 group were 1.353 μm and 0.104 mΩ/sq, respectively.
