The permanent magnet machines have the advantages of high efficiency and power density, features very improtant for air-borne applications with their requiement of no external dc supply for rotor excitation, in addition, a very lower synchronous reactance thus making it a stiff source of power with a higher steady state and more transient capability than ist counterpart, the wound rotor type. In this paper, The permanent magnet synchronous machine is taken as a power source in the variable speed constant frequency power conversion scheme with converter-inverter system. All digital routines are excuted in the sampling time of 100 micro second by a DSP Board (TMS320c25) with A/D converters, which is detect the load current, capacitor current and DC link voltage at a sudden load change and to compute the predicted current. In one sampling interval, two optimal space voltage vectors as well as tow zero voltage vectors are employed so that the capacitor current may follow the reference. As a result, sinusoidal output constant voltage is obtained while swiching frequency is constant, and experimental results are presented, which shows the effectiveness of the proposed control method.

It needs a large capacity of equipments to test the starting performance of middle and large synchronous motors in a factory. This paper propose a new method which is the combination of single phase AC applied test and usual routine test with a small synchronous test machine and testing equipments. We can obtain the results from these proposed tests as follows ; (1) The starting performance and stabilized operation at variable speed is predicted from this results. (2) The armature winding leakage reactance is resulted from the no-load saturation curve, the short-circuit charactristic curve and the armature-reaction magnetomotive force converted to the field current. (3) This test must be performed twice, one for short-circuiting the field winding, the other for joining a resistance between the field terminals, as a result the unknown constants in equivalent circuits are identified. (4) Inverter-fed three phase voltage with variable frequency is applied to armature terminals, as a result, We show the actual armature leakage reactance and reaction of the induced harmonic voltages from rotor.
거대 점오염원이 주변 대기질에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

In order to show the effect of a vast point pollutant source on air quality of Pusan Thermoeletric Power Plant and its surrounding area, air quality around Pusan Thermoeletric Power Plant was simulated by ISCLT-2 which was supplied by EPA. For this purpose the emission amount of SO_2, NO_2 and TSP was calculated and atmospheric stability was classified for a recent decade(1985~1994) in Pusan. A result of the emission amount showed that much amount of NO_2, NO_2 and TSP are emitted from industrial area. It was clear that NO_2 is much emitted from line source and industrial area. And as a result of classification of atmospheric stability, neutral, stable and unstable state were 58%, 24.1% and 17.9%, respectivly. The result of ai quality simulation by ISCLT-2 showed that Pusan Thermoeletric Power Plant is affecting on the increse of 2.0ppb, 3.0ppb and 5.0㎍/㎥, SO_2, NO_2, and TSP respectively at its surrounding area, site A-3 which was located westward 2.2㎞ distance from Plant
백서 두개골 부분결손시 골막 유무에 의한 골치유 양상에 관한 연구

Bony defects may be found as a result of congenital anomalies, traumatic injury, automobile collisions and industrial accidents in the maxillofacial area. Such conditions are often associated with severs functional and esthetic problem. Various surgical procedure has been utilized in attempts to repair and reconstruct bony defects. Bone is a complex, living, constantly changing tissue. The architecture and composition of cancellous and cortical bone allow the skeleton to perform its essential mechanical functions. Periosteum covers the external surface of bone and consists of two layers: an outer fibrous layer and an inner more cellular and vascular layer. The inner osteogenic layer or cambium layer can form new bone while the outer layer firms part of the insertions of tendons, ligaments and muscles. This study was under taken to evaluate bone healing process on partial defect of calvarial bone with or without periosteum in rat. We made calvarial defects of different size(4mm, 6mm, 8mm) with periosteum or without periosteum in rat to study the effect of defect size on healing process. Control and experimental groups sacrified at 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 weeks, postoperatively. We examed the specimens by gloss findings, light microscophy, and fluorescent microscophy. The results were as follows. 1. Gloss findings: Control groups are larger bony defects than experimental groups after 2 weeks, and than control groups advanced healing of defected bone but experimental groups are lesser after 4, 6 weeks. After 8 weeks, bone defect has not been identified in control and experimental groups. 2. Light microscope: All defects of control groups are larger bony defects than experimental groups after 2 weeks. And than control groups show smaller defect after 4 weeks. After 8 weeks, the control group reveal pin-point sized, hardly identifiable defect space and the experimental group reveal small, but definite defect space. 3. Fluorescent microscope: Each week, new bone formation of control group is very similar to the experimental group. In this study, Ostegenesis of calvarial bone defects with periosteum or without periosteum was examined for 8 weeks in rats. The replaced periosteum had batter new bone formation than the removed periosteum.
GO-25 : Dose diabetes medication reduce recurrence of endometrial cancer ?

목적: We sought to investigate the association of diatetes medication including metformin and the recurrence of endometrial cancer. 방법: We have identified 56 patients with endometrial cancer (FIGO 2009)with diabetes mellitus who were treated atSeoul National University Hospital between 2000 and 2011 from the electronic medical record. A retrospective analysis was conducted comparing endometrial cancer patients with diabetes mellitus who used medication (based on medication review at the time of diagnosis) to those who did not use medication. Recurrence free survival(RFS) were evaluated using univariate and multivariate modeling. 결과: 11.5% (56/485) of endometrial cancer patients were diabetic, of whom ,only one patient (1/56) recurred comparing to endometrial cancer patients without diabetes(43/386) (p=0.04). Among them , 73% (41/56) used diabetes medication ;71%(29/41) used metformin, 63%(26/41) used sulfonilurea, 5%(2/41) used insulin,12%(5/41) used thiazolidinedion, 5% (2/41) used dipeptidyl peptidase-4, 12%(5/41) used alpha-glucosidase inhibitor. Age (p=0.12)and BMI(p=0.18) were similar between diabetes medication users and non users; including non-diabeties.92.5%(37/40) , 91.2%(407/446) of both groups had endometrioid histology(p=0.78). Stage, grade, and adjuvant therapy distributions were similar between two groups. Diabetes medication users had improved RFS than non-diabetes medication users in univariate analysis(p=0.039). However there was no significant difference between two groups in multivariate analysis after adjusting for age, stage, grade, histology and adjuvant treatment ; HR 1.033 (95% CI: 0.985?1.082, p=0.179) and HR =1.133(95% CI: 0.003?429.371, p =0.967) 결론: Diabetes medication use may not be associated with improved RFS. However, its role in modifying cancer recurrence remains unclear. Prospective clinical studies that capture each medication exposure prior to, during and post endometrial cancer treatment may help to define the significance of each medication to endometrial cancer upon cancer specific and overall health outcomes.

<P>Two bacterial strains isolated from air samples, 5317S-33(T) and 5413S-11(T), were characterized by determining their phenotypic characteristics, cellular fatty acid profiles and phylogenetic positions based on 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis. 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis showed that these isolates belonged to the genus Methylobacterium. Strain 5317S-33(T) was most closely related to Methylobacterium adhaesivum AR27(T) (97.9% sequence similarity). Strain 5413S-11(T) was most closely related to Methylobacterium fujisawaense DSM 5686(T) (97.3% sequence similarity), Methylobacterium oryzae CBMB20(T) (97.1% similarity) and Methylobacterium radiotolerans JCM 2831(T) (97.0% similarity). Cells of both strains were strictly aerobic, Gram-negative, motile and rod-shaped. The major fatty acid was C(18:1)omega7c. The G+C contents of the genomic DNA were 68.0 mol% for strain 5317S-33(T) and 73.2 mol% for strain 5413S-11(T). According to DNA-DNA hybridization data, strain 5317S-33(T) showed a level of DNA-DNA relatedness of 33 % with M. adhaesivum DSM 17169(T), and strain 5413S-11(T) showed low levels of DNA-DNA relatedness (<35%) with M. fujisawaense DSM 5686(T), M. oryzae CBMB20(T) and M. radiotolerans DSM 1819(T). On the basis of this polyphasic analysis, it was concluded that strains 5317S-33(T) and 5413S-11(T) represent two novel species within the genus Methylobacterium, for which the names Methylobacterium iners sp. nov. (type strain 5317S-33(T) =KACC 11765(T) =DSM 19015(T)) and Methylobacterium aerolatum sp. nov. (type strain 5413S-11(T) =KACC 11766(T) =DSM 19013(T)) are proposed.</P>
