The Chun-cheon Citizen's Bell was cast in memory of hosting the 2010 world leasure conference and a striking ceremony was held at the city hall on December 31, 2005. In this study, vibration and sound of the bell are measured and the property of the magnificent sound of the bell is scientifically investigated. Frequency components making the sound are identified and how the frequency components decrease with time is observed using waterfall plot(3-dimensional frequency spectrum). Beat characteristics of the hum(1st frequency) and the fundamental(2nd frequency)are examined by experiment. Directivity of the sound radiation of the bell is examined by measuring the vibration and sound in several directions. Duration of the vibration and the sound is estimated using damping ratio.

When we are design structures, we consider the uncertainties through partial safety factors. Taking high interest on structural safety, we have changed the partial safety factors in standard specification for concrete several times. And the concern is increased on the reliability-based analysis which can treat the uncertainties quantitatively. In this paper, we use AFOSM method which has now become standard reliability analysis method to analyse the reliability level of each standard specification for concrete. And we evaluated the influences of variance of random variables to reliability levels. As well as, numerical application of reliability based design of reinforced concrete beam subjected flexure.

공기청정기의 일부 실내공기 오염물질 제거효율에 관한 연구

In this study, we investigated PM_(10), NO₂, and 1-hydroxypyrene(1-OHP) in urine at indoor environments which are 35 houses and 20 hospitals for using air cleaner and non-using air cleaner in Seoul metropolitan area and Kyoung-gi province from April, 2003 to February, 2004. Moreover, we examined effect of improvement for indoor air quality and health effect by concentration of 1-OHP also we investigated removal efficiency by air cleaner for PM_(10), NO₂, and 1-OHP that were 28.5%, 27.4%, and 42.1% respectively. Concentration of PM_(10), NO₂, and 1-OHP were 19.02±18.14μg/m³, 8.66±3.06ppb, and 0.19±0.18μg/g creatinine when air cleaner was no worked. The concentration for PM_(10), NO₂ and 1-OHP were 13.60+10.79μg/m³, 6.29±2.71ppb, and 0.11±0.10μg/g creatinine, respectively. It was significant statistically. Therefore, it is considered using the air cleaner to remove the partial pollutants in indoor environment and is positive effect for health.

高校生들의 體育에 對한 關心과 體育敎師觀에 關한 調査硏究

Students and teachers play a vital role in school education, especially in physical education which is given as special education in schools. The purpose of this study are to: (1) detemine students' needs and interests in physical education service course at high school. (2) identify the views of high school students on their teachers of physical education. Questionnaires were sent to 1,214 high school students and collect them. The deta was and alized with percentages according to the each question of the questionnaire used for this study. The results of the study were as follows: (1) Generally, the students answered that they liked physical education because of original taste and healthy life. It was said that boy students disliked without special reasons, girl students without self-confidence in the reason for disliking. (2) The students want to be taught a lot of games. To sum up, sex education and principles concerned of sports in written areas ball athlectis in motor abilities. Specially, girl students want to be taught a dance. (3) They regarded the ideal teacher as a man who is closs with them, convinces them of their understanding and interests, studies, and teaches human education. (4) The students said that they generally like a physical teacher for his humanity of treating them with personality but they dislike him for the lack of his culture. (5) The students feel that their teacher's method of guidance is affirmative. They want not only to do physical activities with their teacher, but to be taught written areas and motor abilities in harmony. (6) Most of students seem to be affirmative in test itself. In general, they want to have motor abilities and written areas once in each term. (7) The student, answered that they made use of physical facilities for having a strong body. Especially, the girl students to want to go to college did them for examination.

W-polycide(??/n+poly-Si)구조로 poly-Si막과 ?? 막 두께를 변화시켜 LPCVD를 이용하여 증착하고 온도를 달리하여 열처리하였으며 이러한 텅스텐 폴리사이드특성에 poly-Si막과 ??막 두께, 열처리 온도가 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. ??막 두께가 증가함에 따라 면저항은 감소하고 스트레스는 증가하였으며 reflectance는 거의 일정하였다. poly-Si막 두께증가에 따라 스트레스는 다소 증가하였으나 면저항과 reflectance는 일정하였고 열처리 온도 증가에 따라서는 면저항과 reflectance는 감소하였고 스트레스는 증가하였다. 또한 조성(Si/W)비의 변화를 관찰하였다. Poly-Si and ?? films in polycide(??/n+poly-Si) structure were deposited by LPCVD to changed thickness, and then were annealed at various temperatures. The effect of poly-Si and ?? film thickness and annealing temperature on the W-polycide properties was investigated. With increasing ?? film thickness, it has been observed that sheet resistance decreases, stress increases, and reflectance in constant. It has also been observed that as poly-Si film thickness increases, stress increases a little bit, while sheet resistance and reflectance are constant. As the annealing temperature gets higher, the decrease in sheet resistance and reflectance, and the increase in stress have been observed. Also, the variation of composition(Si/W) ratio is examined.

Michigan's Test (M.T.), Foster's Test (F.T), Tuttle Pulse Ratio Test(T.P.R.T), Harvard Step Test(H.S.T) and Simple Harvard step Test were performed with 200 general college students selected for the present study to measure their circulating contraction in behavioral physical strength which represents one of the elements of the motor ability. The results obtained from the analysis of their interrelationships are summarized as follows : 1. Michigan's test is simple in its application and weak in motor load. Accordingly it may not be considered as a suitable method. 2. Foster's test showed low correlation compared with other items. 3. Tuttle pulse ratio test showed positive correlation, but the method of measurement is perplexing. 4. Harvard step teat and simple Harvard step test may be considered as the most suitable methods of measurement among those selected in the present study. Therefore these last two methods are believed to be of help for mot only the leaders of sports but teachers engaged in physical education as well.
