In the study, although every scale or location causes different parking demands, the region standard of parking areas in Daegu applies to equally where the first, the second, and the third circulation road are. In this point of view, this study suggests management information analyzing regional parking demand characteristics from the parking demand management as the standard of parking areas in Daegu.
Ⅱn this study, the Highway zones that have a passing lane or a concession lane out of annexed lanes to bi-directional two lane Highway were investigated. Characteristics of the highways according to geometrical structure were analyzed and LOS analysis was performed for each zone. The results are as follows; 1. The correction index for existing heavy vehicles should be considered in field limit speed because of the enhancement of the vehicle speed. 2. When analyzing traffic flow, it is more desirable to establish concession zones rather than to have more passing lanes, which are easily influenced by opposite side traffic flow. As this study investigated annexed lanes of highways only, those of local roads should be studied further.
This paper shows that how to integrate the Six Sigma into the existing quality system as a continuous quality tool. Through surveys on the quality management system from various type of industries, this research is intended to provide some information for benchmarking competitors, and how to conduct the quality management innovation. Definition and history of Six Sigma, statistical measures, organization and training, implementation system and procedures are explained in detail. Six Sigma pursues innovation in all areas including product development and customer relationship management targeting the satisfaction of all products and services. This review explains how Six Sigma can be inergrated and processed with operation innovation activities such as PI, ERP. Case studies are included.
The Gong-Po of Dapogue was used to build main buildings which the notational institutions or temples containing a budist image such as the palace or a castle gate. One of the characteristic of Dapogue that helps to differentiate it from other types of architecture is that it emphasizes the function of Gongpo by making Gongpogue, which is continually arranged in lines. Therefore, this article focuses on the Gong-PO that is a primary part in Dapogue architecture through existing architecture case studies. When we are design structures, we consider the uncertainties through partial safety factors. Taking high interest on structural safety, we have changed the partial safety factors in standard specification for concrete several times. And the concern is increased on the reliability-based analysis which can treat the uncertainties quantitatively. In this paper, we use AFOSM method which has now become standard reliability analysis method to analyse the reliability level of each standard specification for concrete. And we evaluated the influences of variance of random variables to reliability levels. As well as, numerical application of reliability based design of reinforced concrete beam subjected flexure.
This study presents optimization techniques, without using Frame Bridge practical ways to optimize the objective function while satisfying the constraints given in such a way as to minimize the present study wall height 8.0m, span 8.0m - 20.0m, Rise / Span non-0.00% beam element to convert to 30%, comparing the arches and the horizontal structure, was investigated and the following conclusions were obtained. Quality issue has been recognized as one of the most important challenges to be pursued seriously. For quality improvement, the most important factors that determine the quality of the product are in human factors, especially the CEO's quality leadership is growing importance. For practical purpose, we empirically examined the effect of CEO's quality leadership on the firm performance through the quality management system, especially for the small and medium companies. In this study, a role model is developed to present the causal relationship between the Quality Leadership and the Corporate Performance through the quality management system. We believe that the presented model will be a practical reference to the small and medium companies to estimate the level corporate performance in the quality management system.
This study was performed to investigate the quality characteristics for using as processing food by steaming and canning treatment of sea urchin (A. crassispina, P. depressus, H. pulcherrimus) roe. The chemical composition of A. crassispina and P. depressus roe was similar but H. pulcherrimus roe showed some differences. Composition changes by steaming and canning were not great. Can products of sea urchin roe was safe microbiologically during storage 72 hr. In the case of steaming treatment sample, pH was slight changed, salinity and sugar contents were decreased. Changes in color values of steaming and canning sample were remarkable in H. pulcherrimus roe. In hardness measurement, A. crassispina roe showed the highest value among raw samples, and P. depressus roe showed the highest value after steaming treatment.
Wood pellets are the most common type of biomass heating fuels made from compressed biomass. Wood pellets are produced by compressing woody biomass such as sawdust, planer shavings, and whole-tree removal or tree tops and branches leftover after logging into cylindrical form. Latterly much attention has been paid to industrial wood pellet boiler which is suitable for use at various scales in industrial furnaces for heat production to replace conventional fossil fuel energy sources since the use of wood pellet that is carbon neutral can alleviate global warming. This study presents the result of developing a high efficiency wood pellet boiler with 550kW capacity. Efficiency has been improved by using a shaking screw bar grate burner. Special attention has been paid to the improvement of the safety of the wood pellet boiler from backfire by adopting a double protecting system composed of a rotary feeder and an air curtain. The result shows that the efficiency of the wood pellet boiler is above 85% based on the lower heating value at 550kW heating output.
Recently one of the serious transportation problem is a parking problem. The parking problem is serious in metropolises and small and medium-sized cities too. Ways to solve the parking problem need correct parking survey data and understanding of the parking situation. However, present parking surveys are expensive and inefficient because they use humans. Therefore, the paper conducts a study on the parking survey method and parking characteristic analysis. The parking characteristic analysis used data by the parking survey method.
