Background : In recent years gonorrhoea has been panendemic and remains one of the most common Sexually Transmitted Diseases in the world, especially in developing countries. Objective & Method : For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria Gonorrhoeae(PPNG), Ive have been trying to study the patients who have visited the VD Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by means of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. Results : In 1994, 168 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 109 (64,9% ) were PPNG. Conclustion : Our results suggests that the prevalence of PPNG in Seoul is still increasing.

This study is simulation about buckling behavior under axial compression which is cylindrical panel laminated USN125 and USN 150 made by various winding angle.And also this study compare with linear and nonlinear FDEM theory, and FEM theory.To solve the objective function and the design variables, this study use the linear and nonlinear buckling theories of FDEM and nonlinear search optimum design method of ADS for minimum weight design on which stiffened laminated composite cylindrical panel with stiffener that R-type section.

This study is object to structural analysis comparison of continuous casting mold. A two-dimensional finite element model was developed to compute the temperature distribution, thermal stress and thermal strain behavior for continuous casting mold. For structural analysis using thermal analysis result from ANSYS. In other to structural analysis of continuous casting mold, many variables such as casting speed, cooling condition, film coefficient, convection and load condition are considered.

The purpose of this study was to determined the effects of flow rates on breakthrough in charcoal tubes. Firstly the charcoal tubes were contaminated with CS2, and then the effects of them were examinated by using the principle of Gas Adsorption Kinetics. The results obtained were as follows. 1) As the flow rates were increased, k'-values were increased, τ-values were decreased, and k'-values were constant as 3.527±0.558. 2) 10% breakthrough times of 0.05, 0.1 and 0.2LPM were 149, 90 and 34 min, respectively. 3) As the probability of breakthrough were increased, the effects of sampling flow rate against the breakthrough time were proportionally increased.
법랑질에 국소도포된 불화물의 효과에 관한 X-선 광전자분광기 및 주사전자현미경적 연구

This study was performed to examine the reaction of the different flouride agents(AlF_3, NaF, Na_2PO_3F, NH_4F, SnF_2, TiF_4) on enamel as well as to compare the anticarious effect of these agents. The adsorption of fluoride on powdered enamel under various kinds and concentrations of fluoride solution treatment was measured by specific electrode. Enamel specimens treated with 6 kinds of 1,000ppm fluoride solution were evaluated for enamel solubility. And enamel surfaces treated with these fluoride solutions were analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The results were as follows : 1. The adsorption of fluoride on powdered enamel increased gradually by the concentration of the fluoride solutions. The adsorption of fluoride on powdered enamel treated with NH_4F and NaF solutions at pH 4.0 was relatively higher than that of other fluoride solutions. In NF_4F and NaF solution, the adsorption of fluoride on powdered enamel was higher at pH 4.0 solution than at pH 7.0 solution. 2. In enamel solubility, that of enamel specimen treated with NH_4F solution was the lowest of all specimens and followed by the specimens treated with TiF_4, SnF_2, VaF, Na_2PO_3F, and AlF_3 solution in order. And enamel specimens treated with any fluoride solutions were less soluble than control group untreated with fluoride solution. 3. The fluorine on enamel surface treated with NH_4F solution comprised 2.91% of the detected elements and in the case of Na_2PO_3F it did 0.79%. In AlF_3, SnF_2, and TiF_4 solutions, Al, Sn, and Ti atoms comprised 8.23%, 13.61% and 6.10%, respectively. 4. In SEM photomicrographs, NH_4F solution made the granular surface deposits on enamel surface, and irregular crystallines were slightly deposited in AlF_3, SnF_2 solutions. TiF_4 solution produced a tenacious surface coating on enamel surface with irregular cristallines. 5. NaF and NH_4F solutions formed calcium fluoride. SnF_2, TiF_4 solutions deposited the metallic salts on enamel surface. These fluoride solutions caused the increase of fluoride contents on enamel and the reduction of enamel solubility.

In this study, I have evaluated the effects of fluoride mouth rinses on the prevention of dental caries and for oral health. I studied 112 school children from 4 elementary schools in the Chonnam area. The 3 test groups, 1,000ppm's of NaF, SMFP or a combination of both, rinse once a week after brushing. I surveyed all four groups to the DMFS index, frequency of brushing, plaque index and gingival index, before and after the treatments which lasted one year. The results were as follows : 1. Fluoride concentrations in drinking water of this area were between 0.07~0.17 ppm. This concentrations were not effective in preventing dental caries, thus did not affect this test. 2. The control group had an increase of 1.33 on the DMFS index. Group 1 at Song Chun Elementary used SMFP and showed only 0.19 increase on the DMFS index, a difference of 85% from the control group. Group 2 at Kyung Bok Elementary used combined NaF and SMFP showed a 43% difference from the control. Group 3 at Shin Jun Elementary used only NaF and showed a difference of 27% from the control. 3. All three test groups showed lower increases in DMFS index of 0.64 than the control group. 4. The test groups increased frequency of brushing 0.35 times a day compared to the control group hich increased 0.29 times a day, however the differences were not significant. The plaque index of control group (0.46) increased higher than the test groups(0.18). In conclusion, the dental health status of schoolchildren was improved by fluoride mouth rinses regularly.
불소용액이 우식 법랑질의 표면경도, 우식병소깊이 및 내산성에 미치는 영향

A pH-cycling model has been used to examine the effcts of fluoride solutions on remineralization of artificial caries in virto. Fluoride solution was NaF, SMFP, NaF and Ca, SMFP and NaF containing 1,000ppm fluoride, respectively. Enamel remineralization was evaluated by surface hardness, lesion depth and acid resistance. A comparative study of the results obtained have led to the following conclusions. 1. Surface hardness of NaF and Ca, SMFP and NaF group was more increased than that of NaF, SMFP group. That of control group was less increased than that of others. 2. Lesion depth of fluoride treated group was from 53.50 to 56.17㎛ and that of control group, 79.83㎛. 3. NaF solution was more effective than other fluoride solution on enhancing acid resistance 4. NaF and Ca, SMFP and NaF group were more effective on increasing surface hardness. However, they were as effective as other fluoride groups on lesion depth, acid resistance.
