        Abstract This study was attempted to evaluate and quantify the differences of physical fitness among 4 swimming events(free style, back stroke, breast stroke, butterfly). To determine whether the differences among them existed or not the following question was addressed, were winning athletes among the 4 swimming events physically different? When significant differences were found, efforts focused on describing and quantifying the differences. On the basis of results, it is planned to select some physical fitness batteries which could best discriminate the successful swimmers. The 5 physique factors and 6physical fitness tests as discriminators, such as hight, weight, chest girth, upper limb length, lower jump, reaction time, one-legged standing time, vital capacity. The subjects included 60 elite swimmers sample from Pusan swimmers Team. The speed computer programs were used for data analysis. The results as follows: 1. physique In height, the average of male butterfly athletes was 170.0±3.0cm and 161.0±3.8cm for female butterfly athletes. The result of ANOVA test showed a significance difference for both man and woman(P<.05). In body weight, there was a significance difference both in male butterfly athletes(67.0±3.4kg) and back strokes(70.0±8.1kg). In case of woman, there also was a significance difference(P<.001) in case of woman, there also was a significance difference(P<.001) in butterfly athletes(54.7±5.5kg). In chest girth, it showed a 95.6±3.1cm for male back strokers and 83.0±3.3cm for female. Both showed a significance difference(P<.05) in 74.6±1.5cm for male butterfly athletes and 72.0±1.4cm for female back strokers. In lower limb length, the significance difference was found in male, female butterfly athletes and female breasts strokers, female free style. In standing broad jump, both male and female free style section shoed a significance difference(P<.001). In whole body reaction time, there was a significance difference for both female back strokers in light (0.33±0.1sec) and man free style sprinters (0.27±0.02sec) in sound. Here, there also was a significance difference in back strokers. In one-legged standing time, male free style section showed an annual significance difference(42.3±22.6sec. on average). In vital capacity, difference on the level of P<.06 (5,307±411ml on average).         In order to change the crystallinity of low density polyethylene film, the sample cooling with air, ice and liquid nitrogen was studied for the temperature dependence of dielectric breakdown strength at the temperature range of l0℃∼120℃ As a result, breakdown strength was influenced that increase of crystallenety was due to the decrease of dielectric loss under the glass transition temperature and to the decrease of effect for space charge with Micro Brown Ion motion over the glass transition temperature.       • 도금사업장의 작업환경의 유해인자 노출수준에 관한 연구

        Objective : For the purpose of preparing the fundamental data and assessing the status of exposure level of chemical substances and physical agents. Methods and Material : Such as noise, two types of dust, four types of metals, seventeen types of organic solvents, and four types of other materials classified by specific chemical substances in 21 metal product plating factories classified by 28 processes. The author determined exposure level on those hazardous materials from Jan. to Dec. 2001. Results : The results were as follows: 1. The exposure level for noise was exceeded to Threshold Limit Value(TLV) in the process of 6 cases of Machining, 5 and 4 cases of pre and post-buffing, and 6 cases of waterdrop-removing, the mean noise level of all of processes was not exceeded to compliance level. 2. The exposure level for dust was not exceeded to TLV at all. 3. The exposure level for Chromium(Cr) was exceeded to TLV in Chromium plating process, metal exposure level including Zinc(Zn), Manganese(Mn), and Lead(Pb) was not exceeded to TLV. 4. The exposure level of toluene in case of organic solvents was exceeded to TLV in 1 case of finishing/cleaning, coating/developing process, respectively. 5. The exposure level of four types of other materials classified by specific chemical substances were not exceeded to TLV. 6. The exposure level for dust and metal including Zn, Mn, and Pb was decreased in comparison with two results of air monitoring performed. There was no difference of the exposure level for Cr, noise, and four types of other materials classified by specific chemical substances, and the exposure level for organic solvents was slightly increased. 7. The exposure level for noise in factories employing more than 21 workers was higher than that for noise in foadtories employing less than 20 workers. The more workers, the lower exposure level in metal including Zn, Mn. The exposure level for Cr was increasing in factories employing more than 51 workers, and the more workers the lower exposure level in organic solvents. Conclusion : According to above results, this study suggests positive work environment managements in processes exceeding exposure limit value as well as continuously consecutive work environment management in processes not exceeding exposure limit value and revealing no chronological difference of exposure level should be needed.

        A Case of Cutaneous Inflammatory Myofibroblastic Tumor

        Pseudo-inflammatory tumors are also known as plasma cell granuloma, inflammatory pseudo-tumor and inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor, and these tumors are a group of highly variable proliferations of myofibroblastic cells that are associated with a prominent inflammatory infiltrate. This tumor is known to most commonly occur in the lungs, bladder and gastrointestinal system with only a few cases having been reported in the skin. A previously healthy 26-year-old man presented with a 6-year history of an intermittently pruritic lesion on his back. On the histologic examination, there were spindle cells in fascicles and a mixed inflammatory cellular infiltrate of plasma cells and lymphocytes. A diagnosis of inflammatory fibroblastic tumor was made and the nodule was surgically removed. We report here on an additional case of this rare cutaneous entity, and it is probably the first such report from Korea. (Ann Dermatol 22(1) 91∼95, 2010)
