The chemical composition of PM_(2.5) was measured at Gosan. Jeju for two weeks each in November 2001 and spring 2002. In the latter part of the measurement period of November 2001, designated as the polluted period in this work, secondarily formed ion components as well as primarily emitted elemental carbon were high, PM_(2.5) mass concentration was also high in this polluted period compared with the yellow sand period, in which daily average of PM_(10) peaked up to 520㎍/㎥. Increase of major components of anthropogenic origin in the polluted period was not correlated with the variation in sea salt components while increase of crustal components in the yellow sand period was highly correlated with the variation in sea salt components. Trace elements were generally higher in the yellow sand period: however, toxic heavy metals such as zinc, cadmium and lead were the highest in the polluted period.

Purpose: This study aims to identify the correlation between perception of emotional dating violence and satisfaction of relationship of college students to provide objective data for college students to improve perception of emotional dating violence and satisfaction of relationship. Methods: Data was collect using questionaries between November 3rd to November 20th, 2018. Participants of this study were 110 male college students and 127 female college student who are currently attending universities aged 18 to 29 years old. Data were analyzed using average, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson’s correlation using the SPSS 21.0 program. Result: The study has established the negative correlation between perception of emotional dating violence and satisfaction of relationship(R=-.587, p<.001). As the level of perception of emotion dating violence is lower, satisfaction of relationship is higher. The number of relationships recognized by oneself, experience of dating violence, and severity of dating violence also demonstrated significant difference in perception of emotional dating violence and satisfaction of relationship. Conclusion: The result of the study suggests that perception of emotional dating violence is negatively related to satisfaction of relationship. Furthermore, this study suggests that it is important to increasing perception of dating violence for healthier and better quality of relationships.

Purposes :The purposes of this study was to investigate the self-managing status according to the life styles and the diabetic knowledge of early adulthood. The subjects in this study were 240people, the early adult aged twenties to thirties living in the metropolitan area. Data were collected by using self-administered questionnaires that measure about the knowledge of diabetes; the dietetic behavior; the knowledge of diet; the exercise behavior; the knowledge of exercise. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and correlation were used for data analysis. Result :1. At the knowledge of diabetes degree based on the general character, the subjects who had experiences of diabetic education have higher degree of the diabetic knowledge. 2. At the knowledge of diabetes degree according to the life style, the subjects who have regular diet are appeared highly. Also the subjects who don't take much food of animal origin have higher degree. 3. At the knowledge of diet based on the life style, the subjects who don't keep three times meals a day are appeared highly. Also the subjects who have regular diet have higher degree. 4. At the knowledge of exercise according to the life style, the subjects who take extra nutritions 3-4 times a week are appeared highly. Although the subjects tend to know about dietary, exercise and health management, it showed that they actually don't perform what they know in their everyday of life. The reason for this could be the lack of perceived seriousness about diabetes mellitus. Thus as nursing professionals, we should provide them proper health education and support. Moreover, advanced research on the empowerment is warranted.
Monte Carlo comparisons of the top quark mass measurement techniques using kinematic constraints

<P>A Monte Carlo study to compare the sensitivities of the top-quark mass-reconstruction methods using the b-quark decay as a kinematic constraint was performed. The top quark is reconstructed from its decay products, the W boson and the b-quark, and its mass can be obtained by using the 4-vector sum of their final states. However, missing neutrinos and the poor jet energy resolution makes the mass measurement biased and imprecise, always requiring further calibration, and dominates the systematic uncertainties. Several new ideas to increase the mass resolution by using the kinematic constraints of the b quark decays using a charm quark meson were suggested and performed to overcome such systematic limits. In this study, we compare three methods, one using J/psi, another using D (0), and the other using D* meson, by extracting their sensitivities to the top-quark mass, as well as their statistical advantages. This study is intended to set a priority in the real data analyses using a new data set from abundant production in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) Run 2.</P>
Effects of thermal annealing of polymer:fullerene photovoltaic solar cells for high efficiency

We studied the performance improvement of organic solar cells by optimizing annealing temperature and time. Thermal annealing enables crystallization and diffusion of the component in the blend. Furthermore, thermal annealing improves the nanoscale morphology which can strongly affect the transport pathways for free charge and also the contact to the electron collecting electrode. We could obtain the high efficiency organic solar cell having the J<SUB>SC</SUB>of 14.1mA/cm<SUP>2</SUP> the V<SUB>OC</SUB>of 0.65V, the fill factor of 0.6, and the power conversion efficiency of 5.5% by introducing the TiO<SUB>x</SUB>interlayer and applying the thermal annealing at 130<SUP>o</SUP> for 30min and using regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene, P3HT) and a soluble fullerene derivative (PCBM-71).

Isothermal vapor-liquid equilibria(VLE) for binary systems of C₂∼C₄ alcohol+iso-octane were measured by headspace gas chromatography(HSGC) at 60℃. All the binary mixtures showed the positive deviation from the Raoult's law and homogeneous minimum azeotropes. VLE data were correlated by common ge models and compared with calculated values by modified UNFAC group contribution method. Their mean deviations of vapor phase composition were less than 1%. Precise azeotropic concentrations were also measured directly by spining band distillator for each binary systems.

Size-segregated measurements of aerosol composition using X-stage DRUM impactor are used to determine the transport of natural and anthropogenic aerosols at Gosan site from 29 March to 30 May in 2002. Separation of ambient aerosols by DRUM impactor offers many advantages over other standard filtration techniques. Some of the most important advantages are the ability to segregate into details by particle size, to better preserve chemical integrity since the air stream doesn't pass through the deposit, to collect samples as a function of time, and to have a wide variety of impaction surfaces available to match analytical needs. Although the transport of Yellow sand is a well-known phenomenon in springtime, the result of measurement shows that not only soil dust but also anthropogenic aerosols, including sulfur, enriched trace metals such as Pb, Ni, Zn, Cu, Cr, As, Se, Hr, are transported to Gosan in springtime. This study combines the size- and time- resolved aerosol composition measurements with isentropic, backward air-mass trajectories in order to identify some potential source regions of anthropogenic aerosols. As a result, during the NYS period, the average concentration of PM_(10) was 46 ㎍/㎥. Si, Al, S, Fe, Cl, K, Ca were higher than 1,000 ㎍/㎥ and Ti was about 100 ㎍/㎥. The concentrations of Zn, Mn, Cu, Pb, Br, Rb, V, Cr, Ni, As, Se ranged between 1 and 70 ㎍/㎥. More than 50% of typical soil elements, such as Al, Si, Fe, Ca, Ti, Cr, Cu, Br, were distributed in a coarse particle range (5.0 ∼ 12μm). In other hand, anthropogenic pollutants, such as S, N, Vi, were mainly distributed in a fine particle range (0.09 ∼ 0.56μm). During the YS period, PM_(10) increased about 8 times than NYS period, and main soil elements, such as Al, Si, S, K, V, Mn, Fe also doubled in coarse particle range (1.15 ∼ 12μm). But Zn, As, Pb, Cu and Se, which distributed in the fine aerosols (0.09 ∼0.56μm), were on the same level with or decreased than NYS period. Finally, except the YS period, coarse particles (2.5 ∼ 12μm) arc inferred to be influenced by soil, coal combustion, waste incineration, ferrous and nonferrous sources through similar pathways with Yellow Sand. But line particles have different sources, such as coal combustion, gasoline vehicle, biomass burning, oil or coal combustion, nonferrous and ferrous metal sources, which are transported from China, Korea peninsula and local sources.
