        Distal Femoral Medial Opening Wedge Osteotomy for Post-Traumatic, Distal Femoral Varus Deformity

        Restoration of neutral mechanical alignment of the lower limb is an important factor in the treatment of unicompartmental arthrosis. Traditionally, medial opening wedge high tibial osteotomy has been widely performed to correct varus malalignment with unicompartmental arthrosis. However, an ideal indication for the high tibial osteotomy is the knee with metaphyseal tibial varus malalignment. The basic principle of corrective osteotomy is performing an osteotomy at the center of the deformity to prevent abnormal joint line obliquity. If pathologic distal femoral varus deformity is the cause of genu varum, the osteotomy should be performed in the distal femur. Reports of medial opening wedge distal femoral osteotomy (DFO) to correct varus malalignment are rare. We present a case of this very rare and challenging condition in a 47­year­old male, which was successfully treated by medial opening wedge DFO.

      • 망상구조를 가진 망간화합물의 결정구조분석

        망상구조를 가진 망간 결정구조는 두 종류의 망간 자리를 가지고 있다. Mn1은 두 개의 syn 형태의 acetate의 산소원자, 한 개의 anti 형태의 acetate의 산소원자, 한 개의 단일 원자로 두 망간을 연결하는 산소원자, 그리고 두 개의 물분자의 산소원자가 배위하고 있다. Mn1를 중심으로하는 구조는 전형적인 high spin d^(5)의 Mn(Ⅱ)의 결합거리와 결합각을 나타낸다. Mn2는 결정학적인 inversion center에 있으며 syn 형태로 두 종류의 망간을 연결하고 있는 acetate의 네 개의 산소원자와 inversion 관계에 있는 또 다른 두 개의 acetate의 두 개의 산소원자가 배위하고 있다. Mn2를 중심으로하는 구조 역시 전형적인 high spin d^(5) Mn(Ⅱ)의 결합거리와 결합각을 나타낸다. Inversion center에 있는 Mn2는 두 개의 syn-syn 형태의 삼원자 연결 acetate와 한 개의 단일 원자 연결 acetate Mn1과 연결되어 있다. 이와 같은 연결방식은 부분적으로는 Mn(Ⅱ)₃의 삼핵체의 구조를 이루고 있음을 보여주고 있다. 이와 같은 삼핵체에서의 단일원자로 Mn1과 Mn2를 연결하고 있는 acetate는 인접하고 있는 삼핵체와 syn(Mn2)-anti(Mn1)-anti 형태로 연결하고 있다. 이와 같은 연결된 망간은 2차원사의 망상구조를 형성하고 있다. 이 2차원의 망상구조는 인접하고 있는 2차원의 망상구조와는 물분자를 매개로 하여 수소결합되어 연결되어 있다. The networked manganese crystal sturcture have two manganese sites. Two oxygen atoms of two syn-type acetates,one oxygen atom of the anti-type acetate, one oxygen atom of the single atom bridging acetate and two oxygen atoms of the water molecules are coordinated at Mn1 site. The bond distances and bond angles around the Mn1 site are the typical of the high spin d^(5) Mn(Ⅱ) ion. Mn2 site is in the crystallographic inversion center. Four oxygen atoms of the syn-type acetates and two oxygen atoms of the anti-type acetates are coordinated at Mn2 site. The bond distances and bond angles around the Mn2 site are also the typical of the high spin d^(5) Mn(Ⅱ) ion. The Mn1 site and Mn2 site at the crystallographic inversion center are connected by two syn-syn type acetates and one single atom bridging anti-type acetate. The repeat of the connection result in the chain structure. The partial structure of the chain have trinuclear Mn(Ⅱ)₃geometry. The chains are interconnected by the syn(Mn2)-anti and anti(Mn1)-anti acetate ions. The resulting two dimensional networks were again connected by the water molecules using hydrogen bonds.

      • 벼꽃으로부터 calmodulin 유전자의 분리 및 염기서열분석

        Calmodulin (CaM) plays an important role in sensing and transducing changes in cellular Ca2+concentration in response to several biotic and abiotic stresses. Two cDNA clones encoding two different calmodulin, RFCaM-1, and RFCaM-2, were isolated from a rice flower cDNA library and their nucleotide sequences were analyzed. Comparison of the deduced amino acid sequence of the RFCaMs cDNA clone have identity to Arabidopsis (70%), potato (92%), carrot (98%), and barley and soybean (98%). In order to determine the copy number and genomic structure of the CaM genes present in the rice genome, a genomic Southern blot analysis was performed using a rice calmodulin cDNA clone (RCaM-2) as a probe. Four intense and a few weaker bands were observed in the restriction fragments. Most restriction fragments showed high intensity hybridization signals under stringent conditions, suggesting the presence of a small multigene family for CaM in the rice genome as in other plants.

      • 배선기구의 접촉불량으로 인한 전기화재 위험성에 관한 연구

        각종 화재원인 중에서 차단기 및 터미널 등의 배선기구의 접촉불량으로 인한 전기화재가 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 매년 증가 추세에 있는 접촉불량으로 인한 전기화재 위험성에 관해 발생현황을 살펴보고, 저기화재 판별의 주요한 원인인 아산화동의 증식 발열현상에 대해서 살펴본다. 아산화동의 증식발열이 전기화재의 원인임을 밝히기 위하여 출화된 차단기의 단자에서 빼낸 전선을 확대경으로 관찰하여 아산화동에서만 발견되는 특징을 제시한다. 또한 접촉불량으로 인한 전기화재를 예방하기 위한 예방대책을 제시한다. Electrical fires due to the weakness of the electrical contact is being increased. In this paper, the various electrical fires due to the weakness of the electrical contact are investigated. In addition, the characteristics of Cu20 which is main cause of electrical fire are investigated. Further, the methods to prevent the electrical fires due to the weakness of the electrical contact are proposed.

      • 볼엔드밀 加工에서 남겨진 커습體積의 仕上加工 特性에 關한 연구

        The polishing characteristics of machined surface after ball end milling are studied in this paper quantitatively to investigate the optimum machining time including polishing and milling process. The polishing experiments are formulated into the incremental changing task of sand paper meshes bounded by the allowable limit roughness for each abrasive grit size. Testpieces are prepared by milling the flat steel block to have the terraced surface for the different milling crossfeed and cutter size, and polishing device installed on a grinding machine table, which simulates the actual polishing work as specified stroke and acting pressure. The polishing efficiency is investigated during the polishing experiment, and then eventually polishing time is evaluated for the various kinds of conditions, and it is finally analyzed the total machining time which is estimated by adding the milling time to the polishing time of corresponding testpieces. Although the polishing work is shortened as the initial roughness of milled surface becomes small, the total machining time is revealed as the minimum value at a testpiece prepared by milling condition of 1.5mm crossfeed and 20mm cutter size, which means the most economic machining balance between milling and polishing work partitions.

        퍼지추론규칙을 이용한 적응형 평가시스템

        본 논문에서는 기존의 LCMS에서 사용되는 평가시스템에 퍼지 추론 규칙을 이용한 적응형 퍼지평가시스템(AFES : Adaptie Fuzzy Evaluation System)을 제안한다. AFES 는 학습자가 하나의 학습코스(learning course)에 들어가기 전에 퍼지진단평가(fuzzy diagnostic evealuation)를 통해 학습자에게 코스수준(course level)을 부여한다. 학습자는 코스수준에 따른 맞춤식 학습경로(learning path)로 학습을 종료한 후, 퍼지최종평가(fuzzy final evaluation)를 통해 최종성적(final grade)을 AFES 으로부터 부여 받는다. AFES, 의 가장 큰 특징은 최종성적의 점수 부여 규칙에 있는데, 만약 서로 다른 학습자가 동일한 문제 수에 대하여 같은 수의 정답을 냈더라도, AFES 는 125 가지 퍼지 추론 규칙(fuzzy reasoning rule)에 의거하여 탄력적으로 서로 다른 최종성적을 학습자에게 부여한다. We introduce an AFES(Adaptive Fuzzy Evaluation System) that applies an evaluation system used to existing LCMS(Learning Contents Management System) to a fuzzy reasoning rule. The AFES confers a course level on the learner through a fuzzy diagnostic evaluation before the learner enters a learning course. After the learner completes a learning course through the tailored learning path that is suitable for the learner’s level, the AFES confers a final grade on the learner by means of fuzzy final evaluation. The biggest characteristic of the AFES is a grade rule of the final grade. Although different learners get the same number of correct answers to the same number of questions, AFES flexibiv confers the different final grade on the learner by means of the number of 125’s fuzzy reasoning rules.

        The deterioration ratio of flexural capacity in the beams reinforced with carbon fiber sheets due to the gap between concrete surface and sheet is presented through the experimental study using full-scale members. Experiment results show that bond failure occurred in all specimens. The deterioration ratios of flexural capacity in the specimens reinforced on the bottom are 6%, 8% and 11% when the gap ratios are 10%, 20%, and 30%, respectively. Also, the deterioration ratios of flexural capacity in the specimens reinforced on the bottom and the sides are 5%, 8%, 11% and 16% when the gap ratios are 10%. 20%, 30% and 40%. respectively.

      • 태권도장 수련생 관여도가 도장경영 활성화에 미치는 영향

        The result of research marketing satisfaction by element by the practice students was as following. First, in men case, as schooltime was prolonged, participation was rising. However, in women case, It was the reverse result. It meant realization about Taekwondo by men was higher than women's. Second, among the practice students, in elementary and high school's students case, schooltime was long, participation rate was long, in middle school students case. It was the reverse result. Third, the most important thing for product satisfaction by practice students was facilities environment of Taekwondo. Fourth, in price satisfaction by the practice students case, most of students did not complain about equipment purchase. Also, satisfaction about price did not display big difference, because Price of all Taekwondo's registration fee was equal. Fifth, realization means of Taekwondo exerted the biggest effect on promotion satisfaction by the practice students. sixth, access easy exerted the biggest effect on place satisfaction by the practice students. It meant students chose near place for Taekwondo. Through marketing satisfaction by element by the practice students, hereafter, I wish to propose marketing operation for Taekwondo gymnasium. First, Taekwondo need to make a new program for women because, as women students' schooltime was long, participation rates was low. Also, It needs to develope the reasonable business management and programs for high participation rates. Second, because access easy was most important thing to registrate, Taekwondo Gymnasium has to preoccupy the best position. Also, It needs to develope the facilities service like vehicles running service

        변형된 측경부 전진피판술을 이용한 익상경 기형의 교정

        Pterygium colli is a congenital malformation characterized by bilateral webbing of the neck extending from the mastoid to the acromion. The etiology of the webbed neck deformity is variable which include chromosomal abnormality, congenital disease and jugular lymphatic obstruction sequence. Aims of the surgical correction is to create a normal neck contour with a symmetrical posterior hairline while avoiding obvious scarring especially on the anterior and lateral neck. We used modified lateral cervical advancement technique for the correction of 3 cases of webbed neck deformity. All scars lie within or along the hairline and extend onto the posterolateral shoulder area. And this modification also provided natural hairine and neck controur. We can avoid tension suture and vertical suture line for the prevention of scar spreading by this medthod. There was no recurrence of neck deformity during 6 month to 2 year follow up period.

        대형경유차 저공해기술 적용에 따른 나노입자 배출특성

        Diesel engines which emit a lot of PM and NOx have been known as a main air polluter. Especially, diesel particulate matters (DPM) including black smoke are hazardous air pollutants to human health and environment. The nations retaining advanced engine technologies have reinforced emission regulations. To meet these regulations diesel engine manufacturers have developed low-emission diesel engines, aftertreatment equipments, alternative fuel technologies and so on. In this study, particle number concentrations characteristics according to particle size and engine driving conditions were analyzed when these low-emission technologies were applied. There was a tendency of increasing particle number concentrations from heavy-duty diesel engines with increasing engine rpm and load rate. In the cases of CDPF (Catalytic Diesel Particulate Filter), CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) engine and ULSD (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel) more than 99% of particle number concentration were removed.
