        Marine fishes collected the inshore waters of the Kohung Peninsula, southern part of Chollanam-do from June to November in 1990 was studied. They were classified into 41 families and 93 species. The list of the collection including collected date, nember of specimen and Korean name was represented in this paper.

      • 韓國産 참복亞目 魚類

        韓國産 참복亞目 魚類를 4科 10屬 24種으로 分類하여 科, 屬 및 種 檢索表를 作成하고, 1986년 부터 1990년 까지 채집한 17종에 대하여 計數, 計測形質, 外部形態, 體色 그리고 採集地域 등을 기록하였다. 이중 Lagocephalus gloveri Abe et Tabeta 1983, 와 L. wheeleri Abe, Tabeta et Kitanhama 1984, 를 한국 미기록종으로 記載하면서, 國名을 "흑밀복"과 "은밀복"으로 각각 명명한다. Takifugu chinensis(Abe)는 1949년 Abe가 부산표본을 paratype으로 사용하여 기재 보고 하였으나, 최근의 한국산 목록에 포함되어 있지 않아 본 연구에서 이 종을 추가하고, 한국명으로 "참복"으로 제안한다. 우리나라에 분포하는 참복亞目에 해당하는 종의 대부분은 日本과 中國에도 분포하고 있지만, 그 가운데 황복 T. obscurus, 황점복 T. flavidus와 바실복 T. basilevskianus 3종은 한국의 黃海와 중국의 海域에만 출현하고 있어 주목되었다. Twenty four species belonging to 10 genera and 4 families in the suborder Tetraodontoidei in Korea were reviewed and provisional keys to species, genera and families are provided. Among them available specimens of seventeen species in this taxa collected during 1986 to 1990 from Korean waters were examined and recorded on the morphometric characters, their body color and collection sites. And two species are reported for the first time to Korea with their descriptions and figures: Lagocephalus gloveri Abe et Tabeta, 1983 and L. wheeleri Abe, Tabeta et Kitahama, 1984. Takifugu chinensis Abe, previously recorded from Pusan, Korea as paratype locality but not included in the list of Chyung, 1977, is listed in the present paper with the new Korean name, "Chambok". Many of this taxa are also distributed throughout the waters of China and Japan. But it is found that the distribution of three species of genus Takifugu are restricted only to the west coast of Korea as well as to the adfacent waters of China in the Yellow Sea; T. obscurus, T. flavidus and T. basilevskianus. Taxonomy and distribution of this taxa were discussed with refences to the information obtained so far.

      • 飼料資源開發을 위한 雜灌木樹葉의 飼料價値와 韓牛의 放牧利用에 關한 硏究

        As a part of forestry utilization for livestock feed resources the feeding value ague of shrub leaf by growth stage and grazing behabiour of the native cattle at shrubby grassland in function of seasons were investigated and the following results were obtained. 1. The crude protein content of oak leaf declined as the growth stage increased whereas the contents of crude fiber and crude fat showed the opposite tendency. 2. The intake of oak leaf paralleled with the amount given while the intake of the mixed grass leas remarkable increased and the body weight gain was also remarkably increased. 3. The average number of oak leaf intake was 70.5 times for spring, 148.7 for summer, and 395.7 for autumn. 4. The grazing time by the native cattle was decreased in the order of spring, autumn, and summer. As for the grazing behaviour, the intake activity was most active during morning, mid-day and late afternoon or three times a day. 5. The duration of rumination was found to be in the decreasing order or summer, autumn and spring, cattles ruminated more when the grasses were more abundant. 6. As for the inactive period of animal, it was short during spring when the animals spent more time for eating but it was about 5 times longer during both summer and autumn.

      • 고군산군도 연안 어류상

        1989년부터 1993년까지 고군산군도의 어류상에 대하여 조사한 결과 12목 50과 81속 102종을 채집하였다. 조사 기간중에 많은 개체가 채집된 종은 밴댕이 Herengula zunasi, 멸치 Engraulis japonica, 민태 Jahnius grypotus, 흰베도라치 Pholis fangi, 꽃돛양태 Repomucenus ornatipinnis, 별망둑 Chasmichthys gulosus, 두줄망둑 Tridentiger trigonocephalus 과 참서대 Cyno-glossus joyneri 의 8종이었다. 채집된 12목 어류중에 농어목, 횟대목 그리고 가자미목의 3개 목에 포함된 어류가 약 74%로 대부분을 차지하였고, 과별로는 망둑어과가 12종으로 가장 많은 종이 출현하였다. 채집된 어류중에 흰베도라치 Pholis fangi, 꽃돛양태 Repomucenus ornatipinnis, 참돛양태 Repomucenus koreanus, 황점복 Takifugu flavidus, 황복 Takifugu obscurus 등 5종은 황해에만 출현하는 고유종들이다. 본 조사 지역에서 15개체가 채집된 Sebastes sp. 는 Sebastes hubbsi 그리고 Sebastes longispinnis와 유사하지만 등지느러미 기조수, 측선공수, 새파수와 체색에서 한국에 출현하는 Sebastes속 어류 어느 종과도 달라서 분류학적으로 주목되었다. During the investigation of fish fauna from the Kokunsan Islands off west coast of Korea from 1989 to 1993, authors confirmed 102 fish species belonging to 81 genera. 50 families and 12 orders. Of these the following 8 species were common : Herengila zunasi, Engraulis japonica, Johnius grypotus, Pholis fangi, Repomucenus ornatipinnis, Chasmichthys gulosus, Tridentiger trigonocephalus, and Cynoglossus joyneri. Of the twelve orders recognized herein, Perciformes, Scorpaenformes and Pleuronecti-formes include approximately 74% of the fish fauna in this area. The largest family is the Gobiidae representing 12 species. Pholis fangi, Repomucenus ornatipinnis, Repomucenus koreanus, Takifugu flavidus and Takifugu obscurus collected are endemic to the Yellow Sea. Fifteen specimens of an unknown Sebastes species was collected. This species resembles Sebastes hubbsi and Sebastes longispinnis, but the species differs from other sebastes species reported in Korea in the number of dorsal fin rays, lateral line pores, gill rakers and in color patterns of body sides.

      • 벨로우즈 해석을 위한 유한요소의 개발에 관한 연구

        Bellows is a familiar component in piping systems as it provides a relatively simple means of absorbing thermal expansion and providing system flexibility. In routine piping flexibility analysis by finite element methods, bellows is usually considered to be straight pipe runs modified by an appropriate flexibility factor; maximum stresses are evaluated using a corresponding stress concentration factor. The aim of this study is to develop a bellows finite element, which similarly includes more complex shell type deformation patterns. This element also does not require flexibility or stress factors, but evaluates more detailed deformation and stress patterns. The proposed bellows element is a 3-D, 2-noded line element, with three degrees of freedom per node and no bending. It is formulated by including additional 'internal' degrees of freedom to account for the deformation of the bellows corrugation; specifically a quarter toroidal section of the bellows, loaded by axial force, is considered and the shell type deformation of this is include by way of an approximating trigometric series. The stiffness of each half bellows section may be found by minimising the potential energy of the section for a chosen deformation shape function. An experiment on the flexibility is performed to verify the reliability for bellows finite element.

      • 샌드위치 구조물의 형상최적설계

        General structural optimization is utilized to minimize the weight of structures while satisfying constraints imposed on stress, displacements and natural frequencies, etc.. Sandwich structures consist of inside core and outside face sheets. The selected sandwich structures are isotropic sandwich beams and isotropic sandwich plate. The face sheets are treated as membrane and assumed to carry only tensions, and the core is assumed to carry only the transverse shear. The characteristics of the varying area are considered by adding the projected component of the tension to the transverse shear. The bending theory and energy method are adopted for analyzing sandwich beams and plates, respectively. In the optimization process, the cost function is the weight of a structure, and a deflection and stress constraints are considered. Design variables are thickness and tapering coefficients which determine the shape of a structure. An existing optimization code is used for solving the formulated problems.

      • 녹동균 세포외막 단백질 백신 CFC-1-101의 안정성 및 면역원성 검토 : 임상 제 Ⅰ/Ⅱa상 시험

        목적 : 제일제당에서는 녹농균의 세포외막 단밸질을 유효성분으로 하는 백신인 CFC-101을 개발하였으며, 동물시험에서 이 백신의 안전성과 유효성을 입증하였다. 본 연구에서는 이 녹농균 백신의 인체에 대한 안전성과 면역원성을 평가하는 동시에 인체 접종시의 최적 투여 용량을 결정하기 위하여 제 I/Ⅱa상 임상시험을 수행하였다. 방법 : 건강한 성인 남자를 피험자로 선별하여 각 용량군에 백신투여자 6명, 위약투여자 2명을 배정하였다. 백신 투여군은 0.25mg, 0.5mg 또는 1.0mg 용량의 녹농균 백신을 7일 간격으로 3회에 걸쳐 근육주사 하였으며, 위약 투여군에게는 세포외막 단백질을 제외한 동일한 성분을 투여하였다. 백신접종 후 국소적 또는 전신적인 반응의 발생여부를 관찰하고, 혈액시료를 체취하여 백신의 역가와 유효성을 검정하였다. 결과 : 녹농균 백신 CFC-101은 모든 접종자에서 양호한 내약성을 보였다. 또한 0.5mg 과 1.0mg 백신 투여군에서는 100%의 항체양전율을 나타내었다. 생성된 항체는 녹농균 세포외막단백질에 특이성을 보였고, 녹농균 감염에 대해 방어효능이 있었다. 결론 : 이와같은 결과로부터 이 녹농균 백신은 인체에 안전하게 투여할 수 있으며, 높은 항체 생성능으로 감염방어 효능을 보이고 0.5mg과 1.0mg이 최적용량인 것으로 판단되었다. Background : We developed a Pseudomonas aeruginosa outer membrane protein(OMP) vaccine CFC-101, and the prophylactic efficacy of which has been demonstrated in animal models. In order to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of the P. aeruginosa vaccine, we carried out a phase I/Ⅱa clinical trial in healthy male volunteers. Methods : Groups of eight volunteers, including two placebo subjects, were vaccinated intramuscularly with three doses of 0.25, 0.5 or 1.0 mg of the vaccine at one week intervals. Sings of systemic and local reactions observed after vaccination were recorded for each vaccinee for 5 days. Physical examinations were performed on days 0, 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, and 42, and clinical laboratory tests were done on days 0, 3, and 21. Blood samples for assay of serum antibody levels were obtained up to 42 days after the first vaccination. Results : The vaccine was generally well tolerated by all vaccinees, showing no significant side effects. In the three dosage groups, all vaccinees, except one receiving the 0.25 mg dose, showed significant elevation in serum IgG antibody titers against the vaccine proteins, indicating 100% seroconversion in 0.5 and 1.0 mg groups. The human antibodies induced by the vaccine were specific for P. aeruginosa OMPs, as confirmed by western blot analysis and immunoprecipitation assays. The capacity of the human antisera to enhance opsonophagocytic killing activity by polymorphonuclear leukocytes and to confer protection against P. aeruginosa infections indicates that the antibodies elicited by the vaccine have protective efficacy. Conclusion : We conclude that the P. aeruginosa OMP vaccine is safe and effective for human use and its optimal dose to be 0.5 or 1.0 mg.

      • 全南 珍島의 淡水漁類

        1987년 6월과 8월 2회에 걸쳐 珍島內의 7개 調査地点에서 淡水魚類의 분포, 生態 및 形態등을 조사하였다. 총 採集個體數는 2,753個體로 同定 결과는 9科 24屬 30種으로 밝혀졌으며 Pseudorasbora parva, Hemiculter eigenmanni, Abottina rivularis, Aphyocypris chinensis, Acanthorhodeus gracilis, Misgurnus mizolepis 등 6種의 1次 淡水魚와 Trachydermus faciatus, Tridentiger obscurus, T. trigonocephalus, Acanthogobius elongata, A. hasta, A. lactipes, A. flavimanus, Acentrogobius pflaumi, Pseudogobius masago, Mugilogobius abei, Chaenogobius annularis, C. mororanus, Periophthalmus cantonensis, Fugu niphobles 등14종 2次 또는 周綠性 淡水魚가 珍島에서 처음으로 그 분포가 확인되었다. 본 지역에서 採集된 1차 담수어 중 Abottina rivularis, Acanthorhodeus gracilis는 지금까지 어느 島嶼地方에서도 分布가 확인된 적이 없는 種이며, Cobitis longicorpus, A. gracilis는 韓國特産種으로 그중에 C. longicorpus는 珍島가 육지로부터 분리되기 전에 分布되었던 種으로 그리고 A.gracilis는 2次的인 이동에 의해 분포된 種으로 생각된다. 쌍계천 상류지역인 st.1(쌍계천계곡)과 st.3(창포교 일대)에서는 섬의 상류ㅣ지역의 전형적인 특징종인 M.oxycephalus, O. latipes가 st.4(송정저수지)와 st.7(둔전저수지)에서는 혼탁한 수질상태에서 주로 서식하는 H.eigenmanni, P.parva, C.auratus, A.rivularis 등이, st.6(금갑리)와 st.7(벽파리)에서는 汽水域에서 주로 서식하는 망둥어科 어류들이 서식하고 있는 특징을 보였다. 우점종인 M.oxycephalus와 H.eigenmanni의 全長組成과 分布上 特異한 種인A.gracilis, A.rivularis, C.longicorpus의 生態와 측정치 등을 밝혔다. Distributional, morphological and ecological characters of the freshwater fishes were investigated at the seven stations in Jin-do on June and August, 1987. In this survey, 9 families, 24 enera and 30 species (totally 2753 individuals) were collected and indentified. Among them, Pseudorasbora parva, Hemiculter eigenmanni, Abottina rivularis, Aphyocypris chinensis, Acanthorodeus gracilis, Misgrurnus nizolepis were primary freshwater fishes, and Trachydermus fasciatus, Tridentiger obscurus, T. trigonocephalus, Acanthogobius elongata, A. hasta, A. lactipes, A. flavimanus, Acentrogobius pflaumi, Pseudogobius masago, Mugilogobius abei, Chaenogobius annularis, C. mororanus, Periphthalmus cantonensis, Fugu niphobles were pheripheral fishes. It was remarded in the view point of zoogeography of island freshwater fish of Korea that A. rivularis and A. gracilis were observed in the present studied areas for the first time. Two endemic species of C. longicorpus and A. gracilis were found in the present studied area and the former was belived to be the originally distributed species, however the latter might be considered secondary distributed species originated from elsewhere. The abundant species of this studied area were M. oxycephalus, O. latipes at st.1 and st.3, and H.eigenmanni, P. parva, C. auratus, A. rivularis at st. 4 and st. 7 and the gobiid fishes were at st.5 and st.6. The total length of M. oxycephalus and H. eigenmanni, the dominant species of present studied area, were measured and analyzed. Morphological and ecological characters of A. rivularis, A. gracilis and C. longicorpus which were the characteristic species of the distribution were compared with those species reported previously by others.
