        도시지역 여자고등학생들의 체형과 체형에 대한 의식 및 자각증상과의 관계

        Purpose: This study investigated the relationship between body type subjective symptoms and health awareness in female high school students Methods: The subjects were 393 students at the female high school in Taejon City by self-recorded questionnaires in May, 2006. Results: In the classification of body type based on the degree of obesity low weight group was 20.9% normal weight group was 58.0% over weight group was 11.7% and obesity group was 9.4% In the level of body type awareness those who consider themselves to be obesity type 13.7% standard type were 43.8% and leptosomic type 8.1% but there was a clear tendency to be leptosomic type that the rate was 76.3% In the complaint rates of subjective symptoms "fatigue" was the highest followed by "neck pain(stiffness)", "dizziness", "stomachache" in the descending order In the complaint rates of subjective symptoms by the degree of obesity dizziness irregular menstruation and anorexia were higher according to the lower obesity but constipation and wearied eyes were the higher the more obesity Conclusion: The study results showed that the recent female high school students were clear tendency to be leptosomic type and leptosomic and obesity type were related with subjective symptoms Considering these findings it appeared that being excessively thin is related to symptoms and young women's thinness-oriented attitudes are unhealthful.

      • 흰쥐에서 결손된 좌골신경의 복원방법에 따른 신경재생에 대한 조직학적 및 전기생리학적 연구

        The purpose of this study was to compare the nerve regeneration and recovery of innervated muscle activity according to different methods of nerve repair. Nerve defect was made by resection of 10mm-long segment of the right sciatic nerve in Sprague-Dawley rats. Group A was not repaired, group B was repaired with autogenous nerve graft using contralateral sciatic nerve segment and group C was with silastic tube. At 1, 2, and 3 months after the repair, electrophysiological muscle activity from the gastrocnemius muscle was recorded and histological study showing nerve regeneration was done. The results obtained were as follows ; 1. Histologic observations In non-repaired group, fibrosis and Wallerian degeneration of the nerve fiber were observed at 1 month. At 2 and 3months, there were proliferation of Schwann cell and regeneration of axons. Little connection was noted between proximal and distal stumps, however. In autogenous nerve grafted group, prominent axonal proliferation and connection of nerve fibers between proximal and distal stumps were noted. In silastic repaired group, nerve fibers were regenerated through silastic tube. Diameter of the nerve fibers increased with increasing time. 2. Electrophysiologic observations Electromyographic activity of the normal gastrocnemius muscle in response to electrical stimulation was 1,215±37(n=2)㎶. At 3 months, a significant improvement of muscle activity was noted in both the autogenous nerve graft group and the silastic tube group : Compared with the normal control muscle, the former showed 2/3 and the latter 1/2 recovery. These results indicate that autogenous nerve graft is better than using silastic tube. However, it is suggested that silastic tube may well be employed for the nerve repair.

      • 嶺東地方과 嶺西地方의 氣象要素 比較

        氣候란 여러 氣候要素를 綜合的으로 나타낸 것이다. 그리고 氣候要素는 地形, 海拔高度, 海流 등의 여러 氣候因子에 의하여 決定이 된다. 본 硏究에서는 東海岸에 平行하게 뻗은 太白山脈을 境界로 嶺西地方과 嶺東地方의 氣候要素 差異를 20 년 간 月, 年平均하여 比較하고 氣候因子를 토대로 差異 原因을 分析하였다. 그 結果 太白山脈을 境界로 푀엔 現象, 東海岸을 흐르는 暖流의 影響 등으로 氣溫, 降水量, 蒸發量 등의 氣候要素 差異를 發見할 수도 있고 그로부터 相對濕度 差異를 알 수 있었다. 또한 摩擦力의 差異로 內陸보다는 海岸의 風速이 强한 것도 알 수 있었다. 또한 두 地域의 資料를 回歸分析을 통하여 變化量을 알아본 결과 風速, 嶺東의 蒸發量을 除外하고는 모든 要素가 약간씩 增加하는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 우리 人間들의 무분별한 行動으로 인하여 환경 汚染이 深刻하다. 또한 그로부터 생기는 氣候變化에 좀더 많은 硏究가 필요하고 그 對策이 講究되어야 할 것이다. The climate is dependent on the particularities of such several meteorological elements as geographical features, height above the sea level, and the sea currents. This study focused on analyzing the differences of the climates between the Eastern and Western areas, which are devided by the TAEBAEK Mountains, paralleled with the Eastern seashore. The meteorological elements of the two areas are compared on the basis of the monthly and yearly mean. This study found the two areas showed the differences in the temperature, the amount of precipitation, the amount of evaporation, with the results of Foehn Phenomenon and a warm current in the East Sea. It also found that the two areas differed from each other in the relative humidity, and the velocity of the wind in the Eastern seashore was higher than that in the inland area, due to the difference in frictions. The meteorological data of the two areas were comparatively analyzed in a regression, and showed that all the climate elements, only with exceptions of the velocity of wind and the amount of evaporation in the Eastern area, have been increased and heightened. A further study is highly needed about the changes of meteorological elements, which seemed to have been resulted from the environmental pollution, due to the thoughtless behaviors of people. And it is sincerely hoped that wise measures against the meteorological elements changes should be worked out very soon.

      • 김치 발효중 생체활성 아민 생성에 관한 연구

        Biogenic amines can be formed and degraded either as the result of endogenous amino acid decarboxylase activity in raw materials or by the growth of decarboxylase-positive microorgannisms under conditions favorable to enzyme activity. Three biogenic amines(Tryptamine, Histamine, Tyramine) were intensively investigated by the HPLC during Kimchi fermentation at 5℃. The patterns of microfloral changes in lactic acid bacterial group, Leuconostoc, Streptococcus and Lactobacillus, were similar to the typical low-temperature fermentation. The population of microbial growth were high after 10 days and gradually decreased. The levels of Tyramine were lowered(10mg/kg) during this mid-periods(8∼16 days) but very high in initial-(15mg/kg) and final-periods (30mg/kg), in which the total acidity ranged between 0.2∼0.35% and 0.4∼0.6%, while the acidity in mid-periods revealed 0.35∼0.4% beginning the initial ripening period. Leuconostoc was highly increased in number in mid-period but slightly declined as the acidity increased, whereas Streptococcus was highly distributed in initial-period and Lactobacillus in final-period. The levels of Tryptamine and Histamine were relatively low throughout the whole fermentation period, but the profile of Tryptamine level was very similar to the case of Tyramine. Histamine was maintained at a certain level after mid-period of fermentation.

      • 용매의 선택에 따른 전도성 Polyaniline의 자기적 성질변화

        Polyaniline(emeraldine base:EB)를 pH에 따라 HCI로 1차 doping을 한후ESR을 사용하여 자기적 성질을 조사했다.또한 emeraldine base를 camphorsulfonic acid(HCSA), dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid(HDBSA)등의 산으로 1차 doping 시키고 이것을 m-cresol, acetic acid, 및 formic acid에 녹여 2차 doping을 한 후 SQUID 를 이용하여 자기적 성질을 측정하였다. Doping에 사용된 HCI용액의pH가 감소함에 따라 ESR 신호의 강도가 증가하였으며, 이로부터 doping에 따라 상자성을 나타나게 하는 화학종이 가타다는 것을아타내고 있다.m-cresol내에서 HCSA 및 HDBSA로 각각 doping된 EB-CSA/m-cresol 과 EB-DBSA/m-cresol 시료 무두 상자성을 나타내었고, 온도가 증가함에 따라 자하율값이 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다.χ?값은 2.18x10?과 7.87x10?emu/mol2-rings unit 보이며 두 스핀에 대한 Fermi 에너지 level(E?)에서의 상태밀도를 나타내는 N(E?)는 0.67과 0.24 상태(eV/2-rings unit?)로 나타났다.Camphorsulfonic ascid(HCSA)로 doping 된 EB를 m-cresol, acetic acid 및 chloroform 등 다른 용매에서 처리시 관찰된 자화율의 변화를 온도에 의존하지 않는 χ?값과 온도에 의존하는 χ? 값으로 구분하여 curie spin의 온도의존성을 규명하였다. Dependency of magnetic properties of polyaniline(emeraldine base:EB)on the pH of HCI used in doping was inverstigated by electron spin resonance spectroscopy. Emeraldine base doped with functionalized acid (primary dopant) such as camphorsulfonic acid (HCSA), dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid(HDBSA) was processed in various solvents (m-cresol, acetic acid, formic acid etc.)into homogeneous solution and free standing film and its magnetic properties were measured by SQUID. The intensity of ESR signal was increased with decrese in pH of HCL solution and paramagnetic behavior of doped polyaniline due to the formation of polaron upon doping could be confoirmed from these results. The same g value of 2.004±0.001 measured for all of the samples means that the chemical species which show paramagnetism are sasme. Polyanilines doped with HCSA and HDBSA in m-cresol showed paramagnetism and decrease in susceptibility with increase in temperature. χ? value was appered 2.18x10? and 7.87x10? emu/mol2-rings unit and N(E?) which is density of states at Fermi energy level for two spins was 0.67 and 0.24 state eV? 2rings unit? respectively. The changes in susceptibility of polyanilines doped with HCSA in m-cresol, acetic acid, formic acid etc. were divided into temperature independent χ? term and temperature dependent χ? term and temperature dependency of curie spin concentration was examined.

      • 경연 대회를 통한 초ㆍ중고생의 창의력 신장 효과에 관한 연구

        미래 사회를 대비하기 위한 개인의 개성을 존중과 창의적인 능력을 지닌 인간을 양성을 목적으로 충청남도 지역의 초 ㆍ 중고등학생들을 대상으로 한 창의력 경연대회가 공주대학교 과학교육연구소에서 개최되었다. 충청남도 초 ㆍ중 ㆍ 고등학생들을 대상으로 실시한 창의력 경연대회는 창조적 아이디어를 내어 스스로 문제를 해결해 나갈 수 있는 교육 프로그램을 제공하는 좋은 기회였음이 확인되었으나, 일부의 팀에서만 참신하고 재미있는 아이디어들이 제안되었다. 여학생의 참가자 수가 상당히 증가하였으며, 대체적으로 입상권의 학생들의 상당 부분이 여학생이라는 것이 특이할만하다. 학년이 올라감에 따라서 창의적인 아이디어를 내는 양이나 질에 있어서 뒤떨어지는 것으로 분석되었으며, 토론 학습의 적응력이 미흡하고 발표력 및 청취력에 있어서도 떨어지는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 중 ㆍ고등학교의 학교교육에서도 학생들에게 프로젝트형 탐구학습 프로그램의 적용은 물론 토론식 수습을 통한 학생들의 사고의 전환의 기회를 제공해야 할 것으로 사료된다. The creativity competition was held to foster the creativity of elementary and secondary school students in the Institute of Science Education, Kongju national University. It was found that the creativity competition effected on the improvement of inventing creative ideas and problem solving activities. But, only some competitors participated in semifinal and final contests, presented original and interesting ideas. More female students participated in competition than last year. More female participants were awarded a prize than males. Totally, participants were defective in discussion and communication, and presentation and listening ideas. Increasing grades correlated inversely with creativity and originality. There is need of inquiry project teaming programs and presenting opportunities of conversion of thinking by discussing instructions in school

      • 변비로 발현한 직장 간질종양

        A gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) is the most common mesenchymal tumor of the gastrointestinal tract and expresses CD117, a c-kit proto-oncogene, which can be detected immunohistochemically. We reported a GIST of the rectum of a 61-year-old-woman who had visited emergency room complaining of constipation over one week. Upon rectal examination, a round hard mass was palpated. Colonoscopy showed a 7×5 cm sized protruded lesion with surface ulceration on a rectum, adjacent the anus. And abdomen computed tomography revealed the soft tissue mass compressing anterolateral wall of the rectum and these findings suggest possibility of rectal submucosal tumor such as GIST. The patient had been treated with a ultra anorectal anastomosis with loop ileostomy. Immunohistochemical studies on the surgically resected specimen showed c-kit (+) and CD34 (+). The final diagnosis was a GIST of the rectum. She was grouped into high risk and she has been given adjuvant chemotherapy with Imatinib.

        Studies of Nonstoichiometry and Physical Properties of the Perovskite $Sr_xHo_{1-x}FeO_{3-y}$ System

        Perovskite type oxides of the $Sr_xHo_{1-x}FeO_{3-y}$ system with compositions of x=0.00, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, and 1.00 have been prepared at 1200$^{\circ}$C in air. X-ray powder diffraction assigns the compositions with x=0.00 and 0.25 to the orthorhombic crystal system and those with x=0.50, 0.75, and 1.00 to the cubic one. The unit cell volumes of solid solutions increase with x in the system. Nonstoichiometric chemical formulas were determined by Mohr salt titration. The mole ratio of $Fe^{4+}$ ions to total iron ions and the concentration of oxygen ion vacancies increase with x. Mossbauer spectra for the compositions of x= 0.00, 0.25, and 0.50 show six lines indicating the presence of $Fe^{3+}$ ions in the octahedral site. However, the presence of $Fe^{4+}$ ions may also be detected in the spectra for the compositions with x=0.25 and x=0.50. In the compositions with x=0.75 and 1.00, single line patterns show also the mixed valence state of $Fe^{3+}$ and $Fe^{4+}$ ions. The electrical conductivity in the temperature range of -100$^{\circ}$C to 100$^{\circ}$C under atmospheric air pressure increases sharply with x but the activation energy decreases with the mole ratio of $Fe^{4+}$ ion. The conduction mechanism of the perovskite system seems to be hopping of the conduction electrons between the mixed valence iron ions.

        The Possibility of 1,3,4-Oxadiazole Containing Polymer as a New Polymer Electrode in Redox Supercapacitor

        Poly(1', 4'-phenylene-1", 4"-(2"-(2""-ethyl-hexyloxy)) phenylene-1",4"-phenylene-2,5-oxadiazolyl) (PPEPPO) was synthesized and its electrochemical characteristics was investigated as electrode material in redox supercapacitor. The cyclic voltammetry (CV) shows there was scarcely a redox reaction and further suggests n-doping is difficult to occur in this system. However, the discharge curve between 3.0 to 0.01 V is continuously decreased like a straight line, similar to the discharge pattern of EDLC. The initial specific discharge capacitance is ~6.4 F/g, while the specific capacitance of 1000th cycle is ~0.1 F/g. The PPEPPO can be used as the electrode of supercapacitor, emissive material, as well as charge-transporting material in polymer LED.ansporting material in polymer LED.
