        Preparation of mechanically enhanced supramolecular carbon nanotube (CNT) film using a water‑soluble π–π bonding linker

        Mechanically enhanced supramolecular carbon nanotube (CNT) films were prepared in water by employing the π-electronrich phenyl, naphthalenyl, and pyrenyl end-functionalized polyethylene oxides (PEOs) as supramolecular linkers, followed by vacuum filtration. Among them, the supramolecular CNT film produced by the pyrenyl end-functionalized PEO (PEOPy) exhibited the highest mechanical strength, which was ~ 1.5–2 times higher than that of the CNT films produced using the typical dispersant, Triton X-100, although the functionality of PEO-Py was lower than that prepared using other linkers, and the content of PEO-Py in the CNT films was lower than that obtained using Triton X-100. Fluorescence and UV–Vis spectroscopy demonstrated that the improved mechanical properties of the supramolecular CNT film result from the formation of π–π interactions between the CNT and the pyrene moieties of the PEO-Py linker. Finally, the supramolecular CNT film exhibited a 40–50 dB electromagnetic shielding efficiency through hybridization with silver nanowires.

      • 투명전극을 이용한 태양전지의 제작 및 특성에 관한 연구

        Highly conductive and transparent thin films of ITO are fabricated by spray Pylosis method. The parameters of these thin films are as follows : resistivity ρ=1.5x10^(-3) Ωㆍ??, transmission 90% over visible and IR region. The Parameters of SnO_(2) : F thin films are follows : resistivity ρ=1.8x10^(-3)Ωㆍ??, trans-mission 80% over visible ant IR region. ITO thin films have simple cubic structure with lattice constant α=10.2Å and polycrystalline with (400) and (222). SnO_(2): F thin films have tetragonal system with lattice constant α=4.8Å and polycrystalline with (110), (200), (211) and (310). Under AMI sunlight simulator, the Parameters for ITO/n-Si heterojunction solar cells are open-circuit voltage Voc =0.42 V, short-circuit current Isc =34mA, fill factor FF=0.67 and conversion efficiency η=10%. Under AMI sunlight simulator, the parameters for SnO_(2): F/n -Si heterojunction solar cells are open-circuit voltage Voc =0.36V, short-circuit current Isc =28mA fill factor FF=0.55 and conversion efficiency η=6%.

        For modern business firms, the most important factor in determining comprtitiveness of a firm is technology, rather than capital. Technogical innovation is a driving force to develop an economy and is essential in growth and/or survival of a business firm. Following studies concerned with this subject, small business firms seem to be more efficient in technological innovation and developing new technology in several respects. Espercially in the new technology based industries, the small business firms have several advantages in technological innovation. In this study, we tried to show how to plan a technology development strategy in relation to management strategy when small business of theoretical and empirical study, we aimed to show the way to efficient management and procedure of technological innovation. For the research methodology, we firstly reviewed and analyzed current and previous studies about technological innovation strategy, efficient management, and selection of R&D projects. Secondly, the results of this theoretical study was examined empirically. The empirical study contains 153 questionaires and 30 interviews for business firms of this area. In addition, for the evaluation criteria for the selection of R&D projects, we sent questionaires to 60 professors who teaches R&D OR in university or college level. The result of these questionaires was analyzed and compared with that of the business firms of this area. The result of this empirical study shows that top management of small business firms should notice the importance of technological innovation and try to stimulate R&D activity. For the evaluation criteria for R&D projection, the criteria which could reduce the possibility of future uncertainty, maximize profit, and he suited for the situation of the business firm, should be established.

      • 비화농성 삼출성 복수를 동반하는 질환에서 복막 침생검의 진단적 의의

        Percutaneous needle biopsies of peritoneum with Abrams needle and Cope needle were done un 64 patients with non-purulent exudative ascites, who was admitted to the department of internal medicine, Chosun University hospital, from January 1978 to Deccmber 1983. The diagnostic significance and safety of the needle biopsy was estimated. The results were as follows. 1. Adequate peritoneal tissue for pathological diagnosis was obtained in 53 cases(82.8%) among 64 cases. (Abrams needle 84.8%, Cope needle 80.6%) 2. Definitive diagnosis was obtained in 31 cases among 53 cases (58.6%). (Tuberculosis 23 cases, malignancy 8 cases). 3. As compared final diagnosis with biopsy result, the rate of final diagnosis corresponding with biopsy diagnosis was 58.8% in tuberculosis and 26.3%, in malignancy, but the rate of biopsy diagnosis corresponding with final diagnosis was 100% in both tuberculosis and malignancy. 4. Cases of chronic non-specific inflammation which were diagnosed by biopsy were 13cases(24.5%)among 53 cases, and among these cases, tuberculosis was 69.2% and malignancy 30.8% on final diagnosis and among 53 cases, histologically normal was 9 cases(16.9%) of which 33.3% was tuberculosis and 66.7% was malignancy on final diagnosis. 5. Of the malignant cases on final diagnosis, Positive cytologic examination of ascitic fluid was 16.7% 6. Primary losions of cancerous peritonitis were stomach cancer (38.9%) hepatocellular cancer(22.2%) colon cancer (11.1%) ovarian cancer (11.1%) Pancreatic cancer (5.6%). 7. Complication of percutaneous peritoneal biopsy was local swelling with leakage of ascitic fluid and the accident rate were 36.4,% in Abraham needle and 3.2% in Cope needle.

        This study's objects are to survey the reason and background of name change from Science of Physical Education to Sport Science, and the problems of system. This study also comprehends the situation and the research trend of these problems in Germany and Japan, and wants to find the question and the needs at Sport Science. the results are as follows: First, we came to know the trend of world physics changes and advances very fast and innovafively. Under the notion of Sport Science, School physics has changed from Physical Education to Sport Education. Not only the curriculum title but also the curriculum meaning, the treat of teaching aids and the scope of teaching aids have changed, and the contents of sport has been various. Second, Sport Science is authorized and settled, systemically after outgrowing the physics which is the son of Pedagogics. But in scientific structure, paradigm and theory, Sport Science has many works to do. From the results of above study, we can get some solutions. - We should discuss and take an interest in the research matter and academic character for the Sport Science to stand for itself. - We should recognize the need of integrated theory and the importance of interdisciplinary approach. - We should watch out the research trend and world communication. - We should endeavor to use strict special words including the name problem, and to get the originality of Sport Science.

        횡 요천골부 후피부판 (Transverse Lumbosacral Back Flap)을 이용한 천골부 욕창 치험례

        Pressure sore is an area of ischemic tissue loss resulting from prolonged or often repeated pressure, usually over a bony prominence of body. Recently, the prevalence of pressure sore is major clinical problem, due to the increased number of patients with spinal cord injuries or longterm comatous patient after traffic, industrial accidents. The surgical principles in the treatment of pressure sores are total excision of the ulcer, scartissue, bursae, complete removal of all infected bone with recontouring of bony prominences to alleviate discrete pressure points and resurfacing and padding of the defects with healthy and well vascularized tissues. The sacral sore is the most common site for the development of pressure sore in Korea. We had experienced 14 cases who had received surgical treatments for sacral sores with transverse lumbosacral back flap. We obtained the following conclusions. Advantages 1)It is quick and easy procedure 2)The flap elevation itself is relatively bloodless 3)The donor defect is in a non-weight-bearing area 4)Muscle is not sacrified(possibly of importance in the ambulatory patient) 5)Surgical options are preserved in cases of recurrence(the flap itself may be reelevated and inset in some cases of recurrence) Disadvantages 1)It is lacking the bulky padding afforded by alternative musculocutaneous flaps 2)The vascularity of the flap tip is empirically less dependable than that of a musculocutaneous flap 3)The donor defect is large, cannot usually be closed primarily, and may prove of cosmetic concern

        2차원 액체 ⁴He내에서 ³He 원자들 d사이의 유효상호작용이 고찰된다. 평균유효퍼텐셜과 화학퍼텐셜의 비는 ³He 농도에 독립으로 나타난다. 또한 ³He 준입자의 유효질량이 1+1/2F₁^(s)로 주어지고 매개변수 F₁^(s)가 ³He 농도의 함수로서 얻어진다. The effective interaction between ^{3}He atoms in two-dimensional liquid ^{4}He is investigated. It is shown that the ratio of the average effective potential to the chemical potential is independent of the 3He concentration. Also, the effective mass of the ^{3}He quasiparticle is given by 1+1/2F_{1}^{s} and the parameter F_{1}^{s} is obtained as a function of the ^{3}He concentration.

      • 당뇨병에 합병한 고지혈증에 대한 Acipimox(Olbetam)의 효과

        Multiple abnormalities of lipoprotein metabolism exist in patients with diabetes mellitus that could contribute to their enhanced susceptibility to atherosclerosis. Acipimox(5-methyl-pyrazine carboxylic acid 4-oxide, Farmitala Carlo Erba, Milano Italy) is a new potent and long acting(8h) antilipolytic agent, which has been derived from nicotinic acid. By lowering plasma and possibly skeletal muscle concentrations of non-esterified fatty acid, Acipimox may have a potential beneficial effect on glucose metabolism in patients with non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus. The aim of this study was to evaluate the acute effect of Acipimox on hyperlipidemia associated with non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus. 18 patients with non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus were in the study. They had fasting plasma triglyceride concentrations above 250 mg/dl and cholesterol concentrations above 240 mg/dl. The level of triglyceride, cholesterol and glycated hemoglobin were significantly reduced after 8 weeks treatment of Acipimox. Adverse effects were noted in 3 patients, but it was transient with the course of administration. Acipimox is an effective and safe drug for the management of hyperlipidemia associated with non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus.

        회전 초유체 ⁴Heso에서 중심에서 벗어난 양자소용돌이의 유체역학적 움직임이 소멸계수들과 열역학을 포함하는 초유체 유체역학 방정식을 사용하므로서 고찰된다. 평형상태로의 완화를 나타내는 시간상수에 대한 3-포논과정의 기여가 온도의 함수로서 계산되며 T의존을 가지는 것으로 나타난다. The hydrodynamic behavior of an off-center quantized vortex in rotating superfluid ^{4}He is investigated by using the superfluid hydrodynamic equation including dissipation coefficients and the thermodynamics. The contribution of three-phonon processes to the time constant that governs the relaxation to the equilibrium state is evaluated as a function of temperature, and is shown to have a T dependence.

      • 화자 식별과 얼굴 인식을 이용한 대규모 보안 시스템

        본 논문에서는 화자 식별과 얼굴 인식을 이용하여 대규모 보안 시스템을 개발하였다. 인식 에러를 줄이기 위해 전 처리 화자 식별기로 DHMM(Discrete hidden Markov Model)을 사용하였고, 후 처리기에서는 얼굴 인식을 위해 신경망을 사용하였다. Visual C++MFC을 사용하여 Sound Card와 Digital camera를 제어하였다. 그리고 본 논문에서 개발한 프로그램을 사용하여 실시간으로 실험하였다. 본 논문에서 인식에 사용한 특징 벡터로는 Filter bank energy, LSF와 Cepstrum coeffient이고, 얼굴 인식의 대표 벡터는 2차원 Filter bank energy를 사용하였다. 실험에서 사용된 사람은 학교에서 무작위로 83명을 선택하였다. Test를 위해 2049개의 음성 데이터와 365개의 얼굴 이미지를 사용하였다. 복합 모델로 구성한 본 시스템은 등록화자에 대해 98.8%의 Access rate와 비 등록화자의 99.82%의 deny rate을 나타내었다. In this paper, we developed the large scale security system using speaker identification and face recognition. In order to reduce the recognition error we used DHMM(Discrete Hidden Markov Model) in speaker identification for pre-processor and neural network in face recognition for post-processor. To test the on-line performance of total system we directly controlled the sound card and the digital camera in the environment of Visual C++MFC. And we developed the program to test the performance of the system in real time. We used filter bank energies, LSF and cepstrum coefficients as the feature vectors of speech, and the 2-dimensional filter bank energies extracted in the range of the representative feature on face. In experiments, we randomly selected 83 persons in school, and then chosen 10 persons as an enrolled person and 73 persons as a non-enrolled person. So we tested 2049 speech data and 365 image data. It turned out that the hybrid system would have 98.8% access rates for the enrolled persons and 99.82% deny rates for the non-enrolled persons.
