        선박수리업무에 종사하는 군무원들의 작업환경에 대한 인식이 직업만족도에 미치는 영향

        This study was carried out to evaluate the relations among working environments, health behaviors and satisfaction with their duty in a group of 200 ship-repair workers in the ROK navy. The results were as following; Age of workers was 40 years and over(83%) and working duration was 10 years and over (71.5%). Most of them were married and had studied beyond high school. The 69.5% of workers satisfied with their job, whereas. about 59.5% of workers had satisfaction with their working condition. There were current drinkers, 78.5%, current exercising workers, 43.5%, obese workers, 28.0%, and salted food intakers, 18.5% in the workers. The major harmful environmental factors in the ship-repair workplace are noise, vibration, dust and chemicals. Most of workers are exposed to above harmful factors and complained about exposure of noise and dust. The consumption of cigarette or alcohol in people who exposed to noise was much higher than in people who did not, but the difference was not statistically significant. Prevalence of obesity and hypertension were not significantly different between the exposure with noise and dust. Noise or dust exposure was significant relation to satisfaction with their duty and working condition. The affective factors for satisfaction with their duty were people who worked for 10 years or more(OR= 4.53), exercisers(OR=4.78) and dust(OR=3.05) in Logistic regression analysis.

      • 6주간의 '내경일지선(內勁一指禪)' 기공수련이 대학생의 신체조성 및 심폐기능에 미치는 영향

        '소림내경일지선' 수련이 대학생의 체력과 운동수행능력에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위하여 최근 3개월 동안 특정한 운동을 지속적으로 행한 경력이 없으며 의학적 검진상 이상이 없는 건강한 남녀 대학재학생 6명을 대상으로 6주간의 기공수련을 실시한 후, 트레이드밀 위에서 All-out에 도달할 때까지 심박수, 혈압, 산소섭취량, 최대산소섭취량의 변화와 체지방률, 체지방량, 제지방체중, 체수분의 변화를 관찰한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 운동전 안정시 심박수(HR), 이완기 혈압(SBP)과 수축기 혈압(DBP)의 변화는 기공수련전에 비해 기공수련후 낮아졌다. 또한 운동전 안정시 폐할량(VC), 강제 호기율(FEV)과 최대환기량(MVV)은 기공수련전에 비해 기공 수련후 증가하였다. 2. 운동시 심박수 변화는 기공수련후 측정시 기공수련전에 비해 증가률이 낮았으며, 운동후 휴식기 심박수 변화는 기공수련전보다 기공수련후 유의성 있게 낮아졌다. 3. 운동시 산소 섭취량(VO₂) 변화는 기공수련후 운동시와 휴식시가 기공수련전에 비해 증가하였다. 또한 최대산소섭취량(VO₂max)의 변화는 기공수련후가 기공수련전에 비해 증가하였다. 4. 기공수련 참여전ㆍ후의 체중(weight), 체지방률(percent body fat), 체지방량(fat body weight), 제지방체중(lean body mass) 및 체액(body water)의 변화는 모두 기공수련후가 기공수련전에 비해 감소하였으나 통계적인 의의는 나타나지 않았다. Nowadays Qigong is one of the universal health-promotion-methods in Korea and is becoming more popular among Koreans. But it is not accomplished to have scientific analyses in sports science on the effects of Qigong. Therefore, this study was attempted to determine whether 6 wk Qigion training affect on alteration of cardiopulmonary factors(heart rate, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, vital capacity, forced expiratory volume in one sec., maximal voluntary ventilation), heart rate during exercise stress test, oxyge uptake & maximal oxygen uptake and body composition(weight, body fat, fat body weight, lean body mass, body fluid). As a result of this study, it aimed to investigate effects of 6wk Qigong training on cardiopulmonary function, physical fitness and body composition. For this study, 6 voluntary subjects(male 4, female 2) were chosen in untrained students of K University. they wre trained by teachers during 6 weeks and tested just before Qigong training and after 6 weeks. Each subject were measured body composition by body composition analyzer(model 310, biodynamics, U.S.A) and practiced pulmonary function test (model ST 250, Fukuda Sangyo Co., Japan) in regular order. And then they performed a treadmill exercise(model Q65, Quinton Co., U.S.A.) to the all-out state. During exercise stress test, electrocardiogram, heart rate and blood pressure were checked by stress test monitor(model Q4500, Quinton Co., U.S.A.) and also oxygen uptake, maximal oxygen uptake analyzed continuously by automatic gas analysis(model QMC, Quinton Co., U.S.A). Proc-T test of statistical analysis system was used in every experiment for statistical assessment. The results of proc-T test on this data were summarized as follow: 1. Cardiopulmonary function (HR, SBP, DBP, VC, FEV1, MVV) after Qigong traing were more improved than before 6 weeks(Table 1, Fig. 1). 2. Heart rate change during exercise stress test after Qigong training was shown more decreasing tendency than before training(Table 2, Fig. 2). Especially, heart rate change after Qigong training during resting periods was decreased significantly than before training. 3. Oxygen uptake change during exercise stress test after Qigong training was more increased than before training(Table 3, Fig. 3). And also maximal oxygen uptake after Qigong training was more increased than before 6 weeks(Table 4, Fig.4). 4. Body composition(Wt, body fat, FBW, LBM, body fluid) after Qigong training was more decreased than before 6 weeks(Table 5, Fig. 5). Above results indicate that Qigong training for 6 weeks has the effects on improving body composition and cardiovascular function.

      • 한국인의 미의식의 정형에 대한 종교사적 접근

        I think of the musok religion as the prototype forming the features of our formative arts. Nobody denies that the physical environment, like the Korean climate and natural features, affects it completely. But I judge tha I have already failed to explain the properties of formative arts with the things above. Even though I may say that our art is just a Buddhist art since the period of the three kingdoms, there is some part which we can't explain with just Buddhist idea. And Confucianism which followed Buddhism has conflicted with Buddhism, but still maintained the mainstream of the formative arts. So we put musok religion in the right place. The effect which we have received from the ideas is too deep and massive, but I've tried to find the prototype which has produced the beauties of formative arts on the view of nature out of them. The ideas of circulation and unspecialization are the primary factors which formed the view of nature in musok. They mixed up buddhist transmigrationism, superstition, christan view of the future life and practical morality of Confucianism ingeniously. And they passed through the solidification, the mutual complement and the process of transformation. We think that they formed the main frame of Korean perception with which Koreans have confronted the formative arts. And that frame hasformed the unique way of seeing named view points of ideology and generality such ways of judging shaped the code of conducts of artists. The Korean attitude which was formed like this characterizes the formative arts in idelolgy, plain, visibility out of invisibility,simplicity, transparency, anonymity and division of unit. * Musok: peculiar shamanism in area around Korea.

      • 이침시술이 체중조절 선수의 스트레스 호르몬 변화에 미치는 영향

        This experimental study was designed to investigate effect of auricular acupuncture on the change of the urinary stress hormone in weight control of taekwondo players. Veteran taekwondo players in college were randomly divided into two groups, sample group(10 subjects were treated with auricular acupuncture) and control group(10 subjects were not treated with auricular acupuncture). The methods of weight reduction are low calorie diet, sauna and regular exercise(3hr/day) for 14 days. The acupoint of auricular acupuncture is shinmoon, stomach, endocrine, pancreas, hunger point. The urine samples were collected all four times at pre-treatment, post-treatment, before and after competition. These samples were used to analyze for cortisol, epinephrine and norepinephrine. The statistically analyzed results of stress hormones were summarized as follow; Urinary cortisol was shown significant increase in sample group at post-treatment. Epinephrine was shown signigicant increase in sample group at post-treatment, and control group was shown significant change at post-competition compared to sample group. Norepinephrine in control group was shown significant decrease at pre-competition compared to sample group.

      • 4주간의 육미지황탕 투여가 최대하운동시 근대 5종 선수들의 혈액성분 및 혈액가스성분 변화에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to estimate the changes of blood components and blood gases on submaximal exercise after Yuk-mi-ji-Whang-tang administration during 4 weeks. Ten modern pentathlon athletes participated as subjects of this study. The result and conclusion of this study is as follows; The changes of blood components on pre-, post-sumaximal exercise and during recovery time was not significant difference in Yuk-mi-ji-whang-tang administration group except for WBC(p<.05.). But comparative observation of blood gases levels such as pH, PCO₂, PO₂, HCO₃, O₂SAT, O₂CT was showed a tendency of being lower acidity, higher PO₂, lower PCO₂on pre-, post-sumaximal exercise and during recovery time in Hyang-sa-pyung-yi-san than in Yuk-mi-ji-whang-tang administration group.

        광합성세균에 의한 미생물막의 형성

        홍색비유황 광합성세균인 Rhodopseudomonas capsulata를 선택하여 packed-bed reactor에서 미생물막을 형성할 때, porous ceramic bead가 다른 담체에 비해 우수하였고, 일정한 유입농도하에서 체류시간(hydraulic retention tiem, HRT)이 짧을수록 미생물막 형성이 양호하였으며, 그 때 반응기내의 세포농도는 11,400mg/l로 현탁처리시의 세포농도에 비하여 3~8배 증가하였다. PBR에서 미생물막의 형성은 cell attachment, microcolony formation, biofilm formation의 단계를 거쳐 형성되는 것으로 관찰되었으며, PBR이 FBR보다 안정적인 미생물 부착을 보였고 특히 PBR에서는 BOD용적 부하가 15gBOD/ℓ·day 이상이 되어도 미생물막의 부착비율은 90% 이상을 유지하였다. 전자현미경으로 담체의 표면 및 내부에 고정화된 광합성세균을 확인할 수 있었다. The formation of microbial films(biofilm) by a non-sulfur phototrophic bacteria, Rhodopseudomonas capsulata, on inorganic media was studied. Porous ceramic beads(PCB) were superior to other immobilizing media for the biofilm formation in a packed-bed reactor. It was found that the formation of microbial films favored a lower hydraulic retention time, showing a higher ratio of cells attatched to the media to those suspended in the solution. The cell concentration in the biofilm reactor was as high as 11,400 mg/ℓ, which is 8-folds of the cell concentration in a ordinary suspended treatment. It was observed that the formation of microbial film by R. capsulata followed a general serial process of cell attachment, microcolony formation, and biofilm formation. The microbial films thus formed was very stable even for an extremely high volumetric BOD loading rate of 15 gBOD/ℓ·day. The scanning electron micrographs of the microbial films showed that the cells were attached to both the surface and pores of the media.

        광합성세균 미생물막반응기에 의한 유기성폐수의 처리특성

        홍색비유황 광합성세균인 Rhodopseudomonas capsulata를 선택하여 porous ceramic bead를 충진시킨 충진형 반응기(Packed-bed reactor, PBR)와 분말활성탄을 현탁시킨 유동산 반응기(Fluidized-bed reactor, FBR)에서 미생물막을 형성하여 폐수처리를 비교한 결과 PBR이 FBR보다 BOD 부하량 변화에 더 안정적인 처리성을 보였다. 체류시간 (hydraulic retention time, HRT)에 따른 처리성은 유입폐수 농도를 각각 BOD 10,000, 20,000 mg/ℓ로 하였을 때, HRT 1일 이상에서 90% 이상의 처리효율을 가지며, 유출수의 BOD 농도는 각각 350, 800 mg/ℓ이었다. PBR에서 유입수의 BOD 농도변화에 다른 유출수의 농도를 측정하여 단위부피당 기질부하량 상수 (maximum specific BOD loading rate, P) 및 부착미생물 포화기질 제한농도 상수(half saturation constant, K_6)를 구한 결과, 각각 22.2 gBOD/ℓ·day, 1,750 mgBOD/ℓ이었고, 처리효율 90% 이상을 나타내는 BOD 용적부하(volumetric BOD loading rate)는 20 gBOD/ℓ·day 이상으로 표준활성오니법의 0.6 gBOD/ℓ·day에 비하여 30배가 넘는 값을 나타내었다. An efficient packed-bed type biofilm reactor charged with immobilized phototrophs was developed to treat organic wastewater at an extremely high volumetric loading rate. The packed bed reactor (PBR) charged with porous ceramic beads was superior to a fluidized-bed reactor suspended with activated carbon powders in terms of many aspects such as BOD removal efficiency, operational stability, and overall economics. For wastewater with BOD concentration as high as 20,000 mg/l, the BOD removal efficiency was maintained above 90% when the hydraulic retention time (HRT) was longer than 1 day. The allowable volumetric BOD loading rate of this reactor (20gBOD/l·day) is more than ten-folds higher than that of an ordinary activated sludge method. The behaviour of the reactor was represented well by a Monod type kinetic equation with a maximum specific BOD loading rate(P) of 22.2gBOD/l·day and a half saturation constant(K_s) of 1,750 mgBOD/l.

      • 한국 중년여성들의 ACE, Apo E 유전자 다형성이 심폐지구력과 혈중 지질에 미치는 영향

        This study sought to test the hypothesis that the ACE, Apo E genotype would affect the cardiorespiratory endurance fitness, blood lipid profile in the middle aged korean female. Fifty three in the middle aged korean female(52.75±4.98yrs) who participated social fitness program served as subjects. The results were followed; First, there was no significant difference of cardiorespiratory endurance fitness between ACE genotypes. Second, there was no significant difference of blood lipid profile between Apo E genotypes. Third, there was significant correlation between cardiorespiratory endurance fitness and blood lipid profile.

        내인성 혈장 리튬 농도와 정신분열병

        Objectives : The aim of this study was to compare endogenous plasma lithium concentrations among schizophrenic patients classified by DSM-IV subtype and control groups and to investigate the correlation of endogenous plasma lithium concentration and psychotic symptoms in schizophrenia. Methods : Schizophrenic patients were selected among psychiatric inpatients without lithium medication and then classified by DSM-IV schizophrenia subtype, Schizophrenic patient groups were composed of 15 disorganized type, 15 paranoid type and 15 undilferentiated type schizophrenic patients. The control group was composed of 15 healthy subjects without any psychiatric disease,Endogenous plasma lithium concentrations were estimated by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer. The psychotic symptoms in schizophrenic patients were classified as positive symptoms, negative symptoms and disorganized symptoms according to andreasen classificationl about SANS and SAPS items. Endogenous plasma lithium Con-centration among three subtypes of schizophrenia and control group was compared, and correlation between endogenous plasma lithium concentrations and psychotic symptoms was examined. Rcsults : 1) Schizoprenic patients showed higher endogenous plasma lithium concentration than control groups (p=0.033). Endogenous plasma lithium concentrations were significantly different among three subtypes of schizophrenia (p=0.001). Compared with the control group, disorganized type showed higher endogenous plasma lithium concentration, but paranoid type and undifferentiated type were not significantly different. 2) Disorganized symptoms correlated with endogenous plasma lithium concentration (r=0.416, P=0.004), but negative symptom and positive symptom did not significantly correlate with endogenous plasma lithium concentration (r=0.202, P=0.184. r= -0.216, P=0.155). Conclusion : These results suggested that schizophrenic patients with disorganized symptom show the differences in utilization or distribution of endogenous lithium.

      • 六味知黃湯 投與가 高壓環境에 露出된 흰쥐의 血液造成과 臟器造織에 미치는 影響

        This study was purposed to investigate the effect of yukmijihwangtang on rat blood components and organ histopathologic changes in the different environments of hyperbaric ambient air. The pharmacological effects of yukmijiwhangtang in oriental medicine have been reported to improve general condition and treat mental and physical weakness due to overload. 84 Male Sparague-Dawely rats, 200-250 g weight, were housed two per cage, fed Standard Rodent Diet with water ad libitum. The animals were assigned to 3 main groups for the blood components and gas analysis : normobaric control group (NC ; N=4), hyperbaric control group (HC ; N=8), hyperbaric medication group (HM ; N=8). HC and HM group were devided into 2 subgroups and kept on different situation of the hyperbaric ambient air (2ATA or 3ATA) for 2 hrs. HM group was administered 10cc extract of boiled yukmijiwhangtang before exposure. For histopathological analysis, hyperbaric groups(HC and HM : N=80) was further devided into 2 subgroups according to atmosphere absolute and exposure period : 2ATA (acute, 1, 2, 3, 4 wks), 3ATA (acute, 1, 2, 3, 4 wks). There were 20 groups in total, with 4 animals in each group. Experimental rats of HM group were administered 10cc extract of boiled yukmijiwhangtang 2 times per day and kept on situation of the hyperbaric ambient air (2ATA and 3ATA) 2 hrs per day for four weeks. In order to record the possible effects of yukmijiwhangtang in hyperbaric condition on the blood components, the rats were killed by decapitation directly after the hyperbaric exposure for 2 hrs. But the administered rats were killed on the morning following the last hyperbaric exposure during 4 wks. The samples were taken 2 hrs, 1, 2, 3, 4 wks after the begining of this study. Blood was collected from posterior abdominal vena cava immediately after decapitation. Organs for histopathological assays in hyperbaric groups (HC and HM) were also removed 2 hrs, 1, 2, 3, 4 wks and fixed at 10% formalin solution. The whole blood of 1㎖ was used for the analysis of pH, PO₂, PCO₂, HCO₃, BE, O₂CT, O₂SAT level by Blood Gas Autoanalyzer (Coning 175, U.S.A). And The rest whole blood of 1㎖ was utilized for the measurement of WBC (white blood cell), RBC (red blood cell), Hb (hemoglobin), Hct (hematocrit), MCV (mean corpuscular volume), MCH (mean corpuscular hemoglobin) level by Microcell Counter (Model; CC-170-TDA Co., Japan). Hematological and blood gas analysis and organ histopathological changes after exposure to hyperbaric ambient air were as follow; (1) Hematological parameters were lower in the hyperbaric medication group than all the control groups without WBC, MCV (2ATA) and MCV, MCH (3ATA). But a statistical significance among the groups was not shown. (2) The hyperbaric medication group was lower than another control groups on all parameters of blood gas analysis after 2 hours exposure to hyperbaric ambient air (2ATA and 3ATA) without O₂SAT. But a statistical significance among the groups was not shown. (3) On observing the histopathological system of the lung with microscope, the congestion, edema and hemorrhage on the alveolar sacs and alveolar wall damage in the hyperbaric control group were heavier than in the hyperbaric medication group.
