        Practical Calculation Method for the Short‑Circuit Current of Power Grids with High Temperature Superconducting Fault Current Limiters

        With the expansion of the power grid scale and the enhancement of network structure interconnection, the short-circuit current of power grids is increasingly close to the upper capacity limit of circuit breakers. The fault current limiter is efective in suppressing the short-circuit current of power grids, and with the mature development of superconducting technology, high-temperature superconducting fault current limiters (HTS-FCLs) have been widely used in power grids. Due to the nonlinear impedance–current characteristic of HTS-FCLs, the traditional short-circuit current calculation method is inapplicable to power grids with HTS-FCLs. First, based on the establishment of the electromechanical transient model and the short-circuit calculation model, the short-circuit current calculation procedure for power grids with HTS-FCLs is proposed. Second, the calculation methods for three-phase and single-phase short-circuit currents at the substation bus in power grids with HTS-FCLs are analyzed. Finally, three-phase and single-phase short-circuit currents at the 500 kV Xijiang substation bus in the Guangdong power grid are calculated as the study case. Simulation results show that compared with the situation where there is no HTS-FCL installed, the short-circuit current on the 500 kV bus decreases from 65.34 to 58.31 kA in terms of the three-phase short-circuit fault, and decreases from 54.56 to 46.62 kA in terms of the single-phase short-circuit fault, thus verifying the efectiveness and practicability of HTS-FCLs in suppressing the short-circuit current, which is signifcant for the safe, stable and reliable operation of the power grid.

        Finite element simulation of unconstraint vibration treatment for fatigued copper film

        In this paper, in order to investigate the residual strain relief in the fatigued copper film with a thickness of 33 μm, an unconstraint vibration treatment process was simulated by finite element (FE) method. The experimental processes, including fatigue and unconstraint vibration processes, were simulated. The fatigue process for the original specimen and the vibration process for the damaged specimen were analyzed by the static and transient dynamic analysis, respectively. The simulation results showed that the unconstraint vibration treatment can lead to the residual strain of the fatigued copper film to be reduced and redistributed. The effect of the vibration parameters on the treatment effectiveness was analyzed by the different fatigue experiments and unconstraint vibration treatments, and the results showed that the FE simulation results are in agreement with the experimental observations.

        Development and Characterization of a Novel Anti-idiotypic Monoclonal Antibody to Growth Hormone, Which Can Mimic Physiological Functions of Growth Hormone in Primary Porcine Hepatocytes

        B-32 is one of a panel of monoclonal anti-idiotypic antibodies to growth hormone (GH) that we developed. To characterize and identify its potential role as a novel growth hormone receptor (GHR) agonist, we determined that B-32 behaved as a typical Ab2β based on a series of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay assays. The results of fluorescence-activated cell sorting, indirect immunofluorescence and competitive receptor binding assays demonstrated that B-32 specifically binds to the GHR expressed on target cells. Next, we examined the resulting signal transduction pathways triggered by this antibody in primary porcine hepatocytes. We found that B-32 can activate the GHR and Janus kinase (2)/signal transducers and activators of transcription (JAK2/STAT5) signalling pathways. The phosphorylation kinetics of JAK2/STAT5 induced by either GH or B-32 were analysed in dose-response and time course experiments. In addition, B32 could also stimulate porcine hepatocytes to secrete insulin-like growth factors-1. Our work indicates that a monoclonal anti-idiotypic antibody to GH (B-32) can serve as a GHR agonist or GH mimic and has application potential in domestic animal (pig) production.

        온라인쇼핑물의 서비스 회복전략이 고객의 회복만족, 및 지속적 이용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 중국에서 온라인 쇼핑몰을 이용하는 사람을 중심으로 온라인 쇼핑몰의 물리적 회복전략, 프로세스 회복전략과 소비자가 지각된 회복만족과 지속적 이용의도에 미치는 영향에 대해 구조적인 관계를 규명하고자 한다. 자료수집은 2016년12월23일부터 2017년1월23일까지 약 30일간 편의표본추출법을 통해 중국의 유명한 설문지 조사도구를 이용해서 자기기입식 설문지 총 450부를 배포 440부를 회수하였다. 그 중 불성실한 대답과 결측치 있는 설문지 4부를 제거하여 총 436부를 분석대상으로 정하고 통계분석에 활용하였다. 본 연구에 수집된 자료는 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 데이터 코딩 과정을 거친 후 SPSS 23.0 통계패키지와 AMOS 18.0을 이용하여 통계분석을 실시하였다. 먼저 조사대상자의 일반적인 사항과 인구통계학적 특성을 파악하기 위해 빈도분석을 실시하며 물리적 회복전략, 프로세스 회복전략, 회복만족, 지속적 이용의도에 대한 신뢰성 및 타당성을 검증하기 위해 요인분석 및 신뢰성 검증을 실시하였다. 또한 변수들 간의 인과관계 및 영향력의 크기 분석, 회복만족의 매개효과를 검정하기 위해 구조방정식을 이용하여 가설을 검증하었다. 연구결과, 첫째, 물리적 회복전략(물리적 보상, 보상 적절성, 보상대안)이 회복만족에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미친다는 것을 나타났다. 둘째, 프로세스 회복전략(반응성, 사과, 적극성, 스피드, 권한위임)이 회복만족에 부분적으로 유의한 영향을 미친다는 것을 나타냈다. 즉, 사과와 스피드는 회복만족에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 회복만족이 지속적 이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미친다는 것을 나타났다. 넷째, 물리적 회복전략이 지속적 이용의도에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 것을 뿐만 아니라 회복만족을 통해서도 지속적 이용의도에 영향을 미친다. 다섯째, 프로세스 회복전략 중에서 사과와 스피드가 지속적 이용의도에 영향을 미칠 때 회복만족의 매개효과가 없다고 나타났다. 다섯째, 프로세스 회복전략 중에서 사과와 스피드가 지속적 이용의도에 영향을 미칠 때 회복만족의 매개효과가 없다고 나타났다.         중국 물류산업의 경제적 파급효과에 관한 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 중국 물류산업의 경제적 파급효과를 분석하고 지속적인 성장을 추구하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 중국 통계총국의 2010년, 2013년에 각각 발행한 2007년, 2010년 산업연관표를 이용하여 기본분류인 42개 산업 중 교통 운송 및 창고업을 물류산업으로 분류하고 이에 대한 경제적 파급효과를 분석하였다. 분석결과에 따르면 첫째, 중국 물류산업의 생산유발계수의 열 합계는 2007년 2.6011에서 2010년 2.8279로, 행 합계는 4.2898에서 4.8292로 증가하였다. 둘째, 중국 물류산업의 감응도계수를 보면 2007년 1,4448에서 2010년 1.5936으로, 영향력 계수는 0.8760에서 0.9332로 증가하였다. 셋째, 중국 물류산업의 소득유발계수는 2007년 0.2928에서 2010년 0.3949로, 생산세 유발계수는 0.1344에서 0.1528로, 부가가치유발계수는 1.000에서 1.0040로 증가하였다. 끝으로,물류산업 산업의 부가가치유발액은 2007년 100.3조 위안에서 2010년 총 34.2조 위안으로 1/3로 감소하였으며, 물류산업의 총부가가치유발액 비중은 3.5%에서 4.7%로 다소 증가하였다. 또한 소득유발효과는 2007년 12.8조 위안에서 2010년 15.2조 위안으로 증가하였으며, 반면에 생산세유발액은 2007년 33.8조 위안에서 2010년 약 5.4조 위안으로 감소하였다. This research focuses on Chinese logistics status and achieves a goal of pursuing sustainable development. Using inter-industry relation table of 2007, 2010 published by national bureau of statistics of China in 2010, 2013, classified traffic transportation and warehousing as a logistics industry among 42 basic classification, and analyzed economic ripple effects. According to the analysis result, first of all, Chinese logistics industry s production inducement coefficient has increased from 2.6011 in 2007 to 2.8279 in 2010 by total columns and from 4.2898 to 4.8292 by total rows. Secondly, Chinese logistics industry s sensitivity coefficient has increased from 14,448 in 2007 to 15,936 in 2010, and impact factor has increased from 0.8760 to 0.9332. Thirdly, Chinese logistics industry s income induction coefficient has increased from 0.2928 in 2007 to 0.3949 in 2010, production tax induction coefficient from 0.1344 to 0.1528, and value added inducement coefficients from 1.000 to 1.0040.Lastly, in 2010, assume that infuse final demand of Chinese logistics industry 0.6 trillion RMB into Chinese economy, and it induces total amount of production inducement 94.4 trillion RMB from whole industries. Among these, logistics industry takes portion of 3.7 trillion RMB and 3.9%. Also, logistics industry s amount of value added inducement has declined from 100.3 trillion RMB in 2007 to 34.2 trillion RMB in 2010 dropped by third. However, logistics industry s total amount of value added inducement portion has somewhat increased from 3.5% to 4.7%. Income inducement has increased from 12.8 trillion RMB in 2007 to 15.2 trillion RMB in 2010 as well. On the other hand, effect on production inducement has decreased from 33.8 trillion RMB in 2007 to 5.4 trillion RMB in 2010.

        Rapid Screening of Maize Inbred Lines Based on NIR-MIR Spectral Characteristics and Small-molecule Metabolites

        Near-infrared (NIR), Mid-infrared (MIR) spectroscopy and Gas chromatography -mass spectrometry (GC-MS) combined with principal component analysis (PCA) were used to preliminarily select suitable maize parents that can be further employed in future breeding process. Especially, a new matrix was innovatively developed in terms of metabolic components, and used for PCA. Firstly, the quality maize seeds were selected based on the score plots from PCA of NIR, MIR, fusion of NIR and MIR, and GC-MS. Then, the potential biomarkers, including phenol, propionic acid, DL-malic acid, L-valine, which have great influence on the selection of quality maize seeds, were confirmed based on the loading plots from PCA of GC-MS and MIR spectral data. Finally, the quantitative analysis of partial biomarkers for selected parents was carried based on GC-MS method. The selected suitable maize parents were further confirmed by the difference of biomarkers contents. The results showed that NIR, MIR, and GC-MS combined with PCA are as rapid, convenient analysis methods, and can be thus employed for future maize breeding process.

        Tunicamycin enhances TRAIL-induced apoptosis by inhibition of cyclin D1 and the subsequent downregulation of survivin

        TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) has been proposed as a promising cancer therapy that preferentially induces apoptosis in cancer cells, but not most normal tissues. However, many cancers are resistant to TRAIL by mechanisms that are poorly understood. In this study, we showed that tunicamycin, a naturally occurring antibiotic, was a potent enhancer of TRAIL-induced apoptosis through downregulation of survivin. The tunicamycin-mediated sensitization to TRAIL was efficiently reduced by forced expression of survivin, suggesting that the sensitization was mediated at least in part through inhibition of survivin expression. Tunicamycin also repressed expression of cyclin D1, a cell cycle regulator commonly overexpressed in thyroid carcinoma. Furthermore, silencing cyclin D1 by RNA interference reduced survivin expression and sensitized thyroid cancer cells to TRAIL; in contrast, forced expression of cyclin D1 attenuated tunicamycin-potentiated TRAIL-induced apoptosis via over-riding downregulation of survivin. Collectively, our results demonstrated that tunicamycin promoted TRAIL-induced apoptosis, at least in part, by inhibiting the expression of cyclin D1 and subsequent survivin. Of note, tunicamycin did not sensitize the differentiated thyroid epithelial cells to TRAIL-induced apoptosis. Thus, combined treatment with tunicamycin and TRAIL may offer an attractive strategy for safely treating resistant thyroid cancers.         The purified extract of steamed Panax ginseng protects cardiomyocyte from ischemic injury via caveolin-1 phosphorylation-mediating calcium influx

        Background: Caveolin-1, the scaffolding protein of cholesterol-rich invaginations, plays an important rolein store-operated Ca2þ influx and its phosphorylation at Tyr14 (p-caveolin-1) is vital to mobilize protectionagainst myocardial ischemia (MI) injury. SOCE, comprising STIM1, ORAI1 and TRPC1, contributesto intracellular Ca2þ ([Ca2þ]i) accumulation in cardiomyocytes. The purified extract of steamed Panaxginseng (EPG) attenuated [Ca2þ]i overload against MI injury. Thus, the aim of this study was to investigatethe possibility of EPG affecting p-caveolin-1 to further mediate SOCE/[Ca2þ]i against MI injury in neonatalrat cardiomyocytes and a rat model. Methods: PP2, an inhibitor of p-caveolin-1, was used. Cell viability, [Ca2þ]i concentration were analyzedin cardiomyocytes. In rats, myocardial infarct size, pathological damages, apoptosis and cardiac fibrosiswere evaluated, p-caveolin-1 and STIM1 were detected by immunofluorescence, and the levels ofcaveolin-1, STIM1, ORAI1 and TRPC1 were determined by RT-PCR and Western blot. And, release of LDH,cTnI and BNP was measured. Results: EPG, ginsenosides accounting for 57.96%, suppressed release of LDH, cTnI and BNP, and protectedcardiomyocytes by inhibiting Ca2þ influx. And, EPG significantly relieved myocardial infarct size, cardiacapoptosis, fibrosis, and ultrastructure abnormality. Moreover, EPG negatively regulated SOCE viaincreasing p-caveolin-1 protein, decreasing ORAI1 mRNA and protein levels of ORAI1, TRPC1 and STIM1. More importantly, inhibition of the p-caveolin-1 significantly suppressed all of the above cardioprotectionof EPG. Conclusions: Caveolin-1 phosphorylation is involved in the protective effects of EPG against MI injury viaincreasing p-caveolin-1 to negatively regulate SOCE/[Ca2þ]i.
