        Within the Hyeongseong area, Kangwondo Province, occur many gold-silver-bearing hydrothermal vein deposits. Geologic setting, ore occurrence, mineral paragenesis, and genetic environments of Au-Ag quartz vein deposits in the Sanjeon mine, a representative mine in the area, are elucidated in this study. Gold-silver mineralization of the Sanjeon mine occurs in epithermal quartz veins which filled fault fractures in quartz porphyry. Ore mineralogy is simple, being composrd of base-matal sulfides (mainly sphalerite, pyrite, galena, and arsenopyrite) and Au-Ag minerals [electrum (24∼40 atomic % Au), argentite, native silver, and pyrargyrite)]. Fluid inclusions show that mineralization was mainly formed at a relatively low and narrow temperature range (150°∼ 250℃). Fluid pressures were about 70bars, corresponding to a hydroststic head of about 600m. Gold deposition occurred mainly at temperature of 210°∼ 250℃ as a combined result of the decreases of temperature and activity of H2S and the increase of pH, due to the boiling of ore fluids. Later deposition of silver minerals such as native silver was mainly a result of cooling and dilution of ore fluids at a temperature range of 150° to 190℃, due the inundation of circulating meteoric water.

      • 국산 및 수입 Luncheon Meat의 품질비교에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 국내에서 생산되고 있는 돈육 luncheon meat과 수입 luncheon meat의 성분조성 및 품질을 비교 평가하기 위하여 실시하였다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) 국산돈육 luncheon meat의 수분함량은 57.2%로 수입품(53.1%)보다 높았으며 조지방 함량은 수입품(53.1%)보다 높았으며 조지방 함량은 수입품이 26.6%로 국산품(20.6%)보다 높았다. 그러나 조단백질 함량은 거의 같았다. 2) 국산돈육 luncheon meat와 수입품 모두 대장균이 검출되지 않으며, 타르색소(tar colors)도 사용하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 3) 국산돈육 luncheon meat의 NO₂의 함량은 4 ∼ 35ppm으로 돈육수입 luncheon meat(1.7∼6ppm)보다 높았다. 4) 국산돈육 luncheon meat의 TBA가는 0.09∼0.13로 비교적 낮았으나, 유통기간이 긴 수입돈육 luncheon meat는 0.09∼0.39로 국내제품에 비하여 상대적으로 높은 값을 나타내었다. 5) 국산돈육 luncheon meat의 VBN(12.3∼18.4mg%)은 수입품(15.7∼18.2mg%)보다 낮았다. 6) 수입 luncheon meat는 국산 luncheon meat보다 jelly loss가 약2배 높았다. 7) 경도는 국산돈육 luncheon meat통조림이 수입품보다 높은 것으로 나타났으나, 탄력성과 응집성은 큰 차이가 나지 않았다. The aim of this study was to assay and compare the ingredient or composition and quality of imported pork luncheon meat with those of domestic's. The results obtained were as follows. 1. The amount of water in domestic pork luncheon meat products(57.2%0 was higher than that of imported products(52.2%0, and the content of crude fat in imported products(26.6%) was higher than that of domestic products(20.6%). The amount of crude protein, however, both domestic and imported products was approximately the same. 2. E.coli was not found in both domestic and imported products. No tar-colors were detected in both samples. 3. The amount of NO₂in domestic pork luncheon meat products(4 to 35ppm) was higher than that of imported products(1.7 to 6ppm). 4. The TBA-value of domestic pork luncheon meat products(0.09 to 0.13) was relatively low, whereas the value of imported products was higher than that of domestic products(0.09 to 0.39). 5. The VBN-value of domestic luncheon meat products(12.3∼18.4mg%) was lower than that of imported products(15.7∼18.2mg%). 6. The jelly loss of imported pork luncheon meat products was approximately 2 times higher than that domestic's . 7. The hardness of imported pork luncheon meat products was lower than that of domestic products. Elasticity and coheshiveness in both products were not significantly different.

        연폭로 근로자들에서 적혈구 Pyrimidine 5'-Nucleotidase 활성도 및 요중 N-Acetyl-β-D-Glucosaminidase 활성도와의 상관관계 연구

        In this study, we measured the activity of the erythrocyte pyrimidin 5'-nuclectidase(P5N) and urinary N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase(NAG) from 154 workers exposed to lead and 43 workers not exposed. We analyzed the correlation of the P5N activity and NAG activity with other biololgical exposure indices of lead such as blood lead(PbB) and zinc protoporphyrin(ZPP). The measurement was performed by using high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC), spectrophotometer and atomic absorption spectrophotometer. The results are as follows : 1. The mean value of P5N activity for workers exposed to lead was 9.50±3.13 μmol uridine/hr/g Hb and 11.60±2.2 μmol uridine/hr/g Hb for workers not exposed. The P5N activity showed a normal distribution, but the other indices of lead showed logarithmic normal distributions. 2. The P5N activity and ZPP were decreased as PbB was increased. But the NAG activity had no correlation with changes of PbB. 3. The correlation coefficients of the P5N activity with other biological exposure indices of lead such as PbB, ZPP, NAG activity were -0.72, -0.55, and 0.05, respectively. We speculated that the P5N activity can be used as a reliable biological exposure index of lead but NAG activity can be used as a biological management index of lead.

      • 슈미트햄머의 반발도 및 초음파속도에 미치는 결합재의 영향

        This paper reports the influence of kinds of cement and replacing ratio of fly ash(FA) and blast furnace slag powder(BS) on estimation of compressive strength by non-destructive test. According to the results, the compressive strength, the rebound value of schmidt hammer and ultrasonic pulse velocity show the higher value in order of AMC, UHC and OPC. In concrete replaced with mineral admixture, they are lower at early age, but higher at the age of 91 days compared with plain concrete. As the influence of the kinds of cement, estimated compressive strength by Schmidt hammer is almost same in the case of UHC, but much lower at the same rebound value in the case of AMC, in comparison with OPC. But the influence of mineral admixture is very insignificant. Compressive strength estimated by ultrasonic pulse velocity method shows the higher value by 10MPa, 12.5MPa in the case of UHC and AMC respectively compared with OPC, and the influence of mineral admixture on ultrasonic pulse velocity is insignificant.

        We have performed a 3D-QSAR/ CoMFA analysis of the cytotoxiv activities of thirty-five 3-arylisoquinoline derivative against SK-OV-3 tumor cell line. The results suggested that the electrostatic, steric and hydrophobic factors of 3-arylisoquinoline were strongly correlated with the antitumor activity. Considerable predictive ability (cross-validated r2 as high as 0.841) was obtained through CoMFA.

        한방 닭죽 개발 및 최적 배합비율 확립

        죽의 기능성 향상을 위하여 2:1:1:1의 배합으로 혼합한 한약재료(가시오가피, 숙지황, 산약, 백복령)와 닭가슴살 등의 재료를 사용해 한방 영양죽을 제조하였다. 한방 닭죽의 DPPH radical 소거능, SOD 유사활성, 맛의 선호도, cost는 수학적인 canonical model과 trace plot을 이용하여 분석한 결과, SOD 유사활성 이외에는 각 성분들이 독립적으로 작용하여 상호작용이 없는 선형 모델을 보여주었다. DPPH radical 소거능, SOD 유사활성, 맛의 선호도를 최대로, cost를 최소로 목적 범위를 설정하고, 각각의 canonical 계수를 이용하여 수적 최적화를 통하여 최적 배합비를 구한 결과, 한약 혼합물 101g, 닭가슴살 38.66g, 찹쌀 비율 41.34g의 최적 배합비를 구하였으며, 이 배합비에 따른 맛의 선호도는 6.39, DPPH radical 소거능은 17.25㎎VCE/ℓ, SOD 유사활성은 2.25%, cost는 1,382.39 won으로 나타났으며, 여러 결과들 사이에 최적화된 한 값에 수렴하는 desirability는 0.714로 나타났다. 이는 한약혼합물이 많을수록 기능성 면에서는 높게 나타나지만 맛의 선호도면에서는 낮게 나타냈고, 닭가슴살의 경우에도 그 함량이 많을수록 맛의 선호도는 올라갔지만 그에 반해 cost가 높게 올라간 것을 반영한 결과로 사료된다. The objectives of this study were to develop porridge with medicinal herbs and chicken breast meat and to find out the optimum mixing ratio. Several herb extracts such as Acanthopanacis senticosus, Rehmannia glutinosa, Disocorea japonica, and Poria cocos Wolf were used in the ratio of 2, 1, 1, and 1, respectively. The optimum processing condition for herbal chicken porridge was determined by a design expert program. Seventeen experimental points were selected, and herb extracts (82∼101g), chicken breast meat (30∼50g), and glutinous rice (40∼60g) were chosen as the independent variables. The measured responses were preference of taste, DPPH radical scavenging, SOD-like activity, and cost. The optimum formulation of herbal chicken porridge using the numerical analysis was set at herbal extracts (101g), chicken breast meat (38.66g), and glutinous rice (41.34g) with a 0.714 desirability value. DPPH radical scavenging effect, preference of taste and the cost showed a linear model, whereas SOD-like activity showed a quadratic model indicating a higher interaction among the mixture. As a result of proximate composition of optimized herbal chicken porridge, the contents of moisture, carbohydrate, crude protein, crude lipid, and ash contents were 76.4, 9.0, 1.4, 0.5, and 1.6%, the calories of the porridge was 46.1kcal/100g.
