Background : To exatnine the problems intolved in writing practice of death certificates, we cotnpated the determination of underlying cause of death for wital statistics using recorded underlying cause of death in issued death statistics. Methods : We collected 688 rnortality certificates issue in year of 2,000 from 3 university hospitals. And we also collected vital statistics from ministry of statistics. The causes of death were coded by experienced medical record wpecialists. And causes of death determined at ministry of statistics for national vita statistics were mapped to causes of death recorded at each death certificates. The rate that underlying causes of death for vital statistics were derived from underlying causes of death recorded at issued death certificaties sere analysed. Results : 64.5% of underlying cause of death for could be derived from underlying cause of death recorded at issued death certificates, 8.6% derived from intermediate cause of death, and 3.9% derived from direct cause of death. In 23% of cases, underlying cause of death could not be derived using issued death certificates. The rate that underlying cause of death for vital statistics could be derived from underlying cause of death recorded at death certificates was different between 3 university hospitals. Ane the rate was also different between death certificates and postmortem certificates. We classified the causes of death using 21 major categories. The rate was different between diseases or conditions tha caused death too. Conclusion : When we examined the correctness of death certificate writing practice using abpve methods, cortectness of writing could not be told as satisfactory. There was difference in correctness of writing between hospotals, between death certificates and postmortem certificates, and between diseases and conditions that caused death. With this results, we suggested some strategy to improve the correctness of death certificate writing practice.
유치원 교육과정과 연계한 예비유아교사의 심미감 인식에 관한 연구

유아교육과정에서 강조하는 심미감은 유아들에게 아름다움을 느끼고 표현하는 능력을 함양시켜주는 것을 목표로 5개 생활영역 중 표현생활영역에 잘 나타나 있다. 그러나 실제 교사양성과정에 있는 예비유아교사들은 심미감을 어떻게 인식하고 있으며 내면화하는지에 대한 논의는 모호한 실정이다. 본 연구는 교사양성과정에 있는 예비유아교사를 대상으로 일반적 의미의 심미감과 유치원 교육과정과 연계한 심미감 인식을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 4년제 대학 유아교육과 3-4학년에 재학 중인 166명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 그 중 3학년 12명을 심층 면담 하였다. 연구결과 예비유아교사들은‘아름다움을 느끼는 마음’을 심미감으로 정의하고 있었고, 자연과 예술을 미적인식이 발생하는 근원의 장으로 인식하고 있었다. 특히 예비유아교사가 인식하는 미적체험의 범주와 대상은 단순히 예술교과를 벗어나는 폭넓은 영역-예를 들면 길거리나 문화공연, 자연 등-을 포괄하는 것으로써 오히려 대학교육과정이 예비유아교사들의 확장된 미의식을 지원하는 것에 제한점을 가지고 있는 것으로 드러났다. 본 연구는 국가수준 유치원 교육과정에서 유아 심미감 교육을 예술교과에 한정시키고 있는 것에서 벗어나 다양한 영역에서 포괄적인 방법으로 유아 심미감 교육을 실시할 것을 제안한다. This study explored the perception of pre-service early-childhood teachers about aesthetic sensibility which has been elucidated and emphasized in a Korea National Kindergarten Curriculum. A total of 166 Junior and senior undergraduate students participated in the questionnaire survey and an in-depth interview was conducted with 12 students who were drawn from those of participants in survey. Particularly the interview was designed to include 'representational activities' such as drawing and concept map, in order to help the participants transform easily about their inner aesthetic sensibility into verbal form. In the results, pre-service early-childhood teachers recognized the sense of beautiful feeling as aesthetic sensibility and stressed the perception of aesthetic sensibility in nature and the arts. They also recognize that aesthetic sensibility could happen not only through simply specific activities or products but also through mind assimilation and immersion, indicating that aesthetic sensibility is linked with aesthetic consciousness. The other important finding was that many of participants mentioned their own aesthetic sensibility do not seem to be supported through classes of arts, revealing the fact that educational objectives in "Representation Area," particularly related to 'aesthetic sensibility,' in Korea National Kindergarten Curriculum do not seem to be realized in university classrooms. The Korea National Kindergarten Curriculum is needed to strengthen aesthetic-sensibility education in more specific domain and broader area in oder to help and empower pre-service teachers' aesthetic sensibility.

A taxonomic review of the fungivorous tenebrionid genus Cryphaeus Klug in Korea is presented. Four species of this genus were identified: Cryphaeus rotundicollis Chûjô et Lee, 1993, C. albopilosus Chûjô et Lee, 1993, C. duellicus (Lewis), 1894 and a new record, C. punctatulus (Lewis), 1894. Keys, diagnoses, host fungi, habitus photographs of adults, and illustrations of diagnostic characters are provided.

<P>The agarophyte family Gelidiellaceae currently includes 26 species in two genera, Gelidiella and Parviphycus, but the generic status and species boundaries have not been fully explored. In order to resolve taxonomic issues in the family, we analyzed mitochondria-encoded cox1 and plastid-encoded rbcL and psaA genes from types and fresh collections including topotype material. The Gelidiellaceae was resolved with five distinct groups, interpreted here as representing five genera: (1) Gelidiella, including the type, (2) Huismaniella gen. nov., (3) Millerella gen. nov., (4) Parviphycus s. str. including the type, and (5) Perronella gen. nov. Gelidiella was recognized as including a new species, G. flabella, that is described for specimens from Madagascar. A new genus, Huismaniella, is described for the species previously known as Gelidiella ramellosa, characterized by lateral tetrasporangial branchlets inserted at right angles on erect axes and irregularly arranged tetrasporangia. Parviphycus includes P. adnatus which is characterized by simple thalli with tetrasporangial branchlets formed directly on prostate axes and holdfasts forming continuous fringes along the entire length of prostrate axes. The new genus Millerella is described to accommodate five species previously known as Gelidiella or Parviphycus, characterized by tetrasporangial sori formed on erect axes or branches and unicellular rhizoids forming irregular clumps along prostrate axes. Perronella gracilis gen. et sp. nov. is described for plants with terete axes, multifarious branching, and monosporangia formed on erect axes and branches. The implications for nomenclature, taxonomic revisions, and biogeography in the Gelidiellaceae are discussed.</P>

<P>Four species have been described in the genus Pikea (Dumontiaceae, Gigartinales): three species from North America and one species from Japan. However, the phylogeny and species delimitation in Pikea remain poorly resolved. Here we provide both rbcL and cox1 sequences for all species of Pikea, including the type of P. pinnata and a paratype of P. robusta. Our data reveal that P. californica, P. pinnata and P. yoshizakii are distinct in both data sets, but P. robusta is synonymous with the earlier-described P. pinnata. Morphological and molecular data show that Pikea from Korea is identical to P. yoshizakii and that the previous report of P. californica in Korea is a misidentification. The genus Pikea is well resolved in the main clade of the Dumontiaceae. This is the first study on the phylogeny of Pikea using rbcL and cox1 sequence data.</P>

This paper develop a nurse call system using the wireless communication to resolve that a portable problem of established nurse call system. The established nurse call system has a problem that don’t use outside of the sickroom because using a wire communication. The proposed nurse call system is composed of a terminal for nurse, a terminal for patient and a server part. The efficacy of the proposed system is verified by means of experimental. Experimental results are presented that show the effectiveness.
