      • Factor analysis of the environmental impact on microbial populations in Soynag Lake

        The factor analysis was applied to scrutinize the effects of environental factors on bacterial popolation in Soyang lake. For this purpose total 294 cases of 18 physico-chemical and 2 bacterial parameters were observed. The major parts of the variance of the heterotrophic bacteria were interpreted as "inorganic nitrogen" and "depletion of dissolved oxygen", and theat of the psychrophilic bacteria was as "depletion of dissolved oxygen". But the "season in summer" and "organic substance" and "phytoplankton blooming" were minor factors for two bacterial population.

      • Castleman 질환 1례

        Castleman 질환은 주로 종격동 임파선을 침범하여 임상적, 조직학적으로 흉성종과 유사한 소견을 보이는 질환이다. 보통 침범된 임파선은 3cm에서 7cm의 크기를 보이며 경계가 뚜렷한 종양으로 나타난다. 조직학적 소견상 hyaline-vascular형(H-V형)과 plasma cell형의 두가지로 나눈다. 임상적으로는 hyaline-vascular형은 별증상이 없으며 보통 우연히 발견되고 드물게 기도와 기관지를 압박하는 증세를 보이기도 한다. plasma cell형은 빈혈, 적혈구침강속도의 증가, 고감마글로불린혈증, 저알부민혈증, 그리고 저트란스페린혈증을 보이기도 한다. 저자들은 생후 2개월부터 반복되는 호흡기 감염과 거친 숨소리를 보이면서, 성장 및 발육장애를 보인 14개월된 남아에서, 기도에서 우측 주기관지까지를 압박하고 있는 종양을 흉부 전산화단층촬영에서 발견하고 떼어낸 후 조직소견상 hyaline-vascular형의 giant lymph node hyperplasia의 소견을 보이는 Castleman 질환 1례를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Castleman's disease(angiofollicular lymph node hyperplasia) can arise from lymph nodes or extranodal tissues and can be classified histologically into the hyaline-vascular form, characterized by hyaline follicle-like structures interspersed with vascular tissue, or the plasma cell variant, in which the follicle-like structures are seperated by sheets of plasma cells amidst vascular interfollicular tissue. The clinical manifestations of the multicentric variant can be protean and inculude fever, night sweats, weight loss, lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly, pleural effusion, ascites, anemia, thrombocytopenia, polyclonal hypergammaglobulinemia, and neurological and renal abnormalities. We report a case of Castleman's disease in 14-month old male patient with the chief complaints of recurrent respiratory symptoms and delayed growth and development, who was diagnosed as having a hyaline-vascular form of above disease after the excision of pulmonary mass which compressed the right main bronchus.

        In the literatual study on Holotrichia, the results were obtained as follows ; 1. Holotrichia is larva of Holotrichia diomphalia Bates etc. powder or liquor of Holotrichia is used medically. 2. Appearance of Holotrichia is shape of kidney, yellowish color. 3. The oriental characters of Holotrichia is warm, toxicant, salty. 4. The significant efficancy of Holotrichia is breaking the stagnant blood. 5. Holotrichia can be applied to the diseases related to thrombosis, and recover the demage of liver. 6. Holotrichia avails Liver diseases such as Hepatitis, Liver cirrhosis, Hepatosplenomegaly, Hepatoma etc.

      • 무산소-호기 반응기의 유기물과 질소 제거모델 개발

        본 논문은 무산소-호기 유동상 반응기에서 폐수의 유기물과 질소제거에 관한 것을 나타내었으며, 이 공정은 두 개의 반응기 안에서 질산화와 탈질화로 얻어지는 제거율 결과를 모형화하여 검토하였다. 무산소조의 미생물 농도가 모형식으로 표현되면 -2079.898V2 - 202.2029(H/A) + 1123이고, BOD removal = -0.00613 HRT2 + 0.4014HRT + 46.993 and NO3-N removal = -0.0029 HRT2 + 0.1872 HRT + 77.45 로 각각 표현되어진다. 이러한 실험치는 모형치와 비슷한 값을 가진다고 할 수 있으며, 이 결과는 다른 방법에도 적용이 가능하다고 판단된다. This paper aims to get rid of BOD and nitrogen in wastewater as the anoxic-aerobic fluidized bed. The process for the removal of nitrogen consists of nitrification and denitrification in two reactors. The estimated formula for, Anoxic are Biomass concentration = -2079.898V2- 202.2029(H/A) + 1123, BOD removal = -0.00613 HRT2 + 0.4014HRT + 46.993 and NO3-N removal = -0.0029 HRT2 + 0.1872 HRT + 77.45. The experimental values are similar to values of estimated formula. Therefore, this result is able to adapt the other cases.

      • 유동상에 의한 합성하수의 처리 특성

        유동상은 반응기 형태의 변화에 따라 설계인자 및 운전 효율이 크게 변화하는 데, 효율적 운전을 위해서는 영향인자 간의 상호관계를 파악하는 것이 대단히 중요한 문제이다. 미생물막의 형성은 상향유속의 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났으며 최적의 상향유속은 1.17cm/sec∼1.32cm/sec로 나타났다. 각 반응기의 형태, 즉 A/H비에 관계없이 최대의 처리효율을 보이는 media 충전량은 18%이었고, BOD 부하 4.5kg-BOD5/㎥·d에서 상향유속은 1.32cm.sec이었다. 1.17cm/sec이하의 낮은 상승유속에서는 처리효율을 저하시킬 수 있는 bioparticles의 합체현상이 발생함을 알 수 있었다. A/H비에 따라 최대 처리효율은 94∼92%로 나타나므로, A/H비가 처리율에 영향을 준다는 것을 알 수 있었다. Bioparticles의 합체현상으로 인한 처리율의 감소를 막을 수 있는 최소유량은 A/H비에 따라서 다르게 나타난다. Process intensification without any increase in bed requires the exploitation of fluid mechanical phenomena as the basis for elegant solutions to the process engineering problems which result from the need to retain and control the immobilized biomass, and for biomass recovery. The fluidized bed biological reactor provides a solution to these needs. The wastewater treatment characteristics of the fluidized bed was filled with sand media. Indirect aeration were studied experimentally. The optimal range of velocities was 1.17cm/sec∼1.32cm/sec, and under the BOD loading condition of 4.5kg-BOD5/㎥·d, the media concentration appeared to 18% and surface upflow velocity also 1.32cm/sec for the maximum BOD removal. The BOD loading and F/M ratio condition of some of the 'steady-state' reactor, a degree would be expected. The medium effluent unfiltered BOD5 was 92%∼94%, at an HRT of 32 minutes.

      • 漢江上流 人工湖에서의 微生物 分布와 活性度에 관하여

        The values of total hacterial numbers, heterotrophic bacterial numbers, the proportions of specific enzyme releasing bacteria and microbial activities were measured in the five artificial reservoirs in North Han river. The values of total bacterial number ranged from 0.62x10E5cells/ml, which is the common values in mesotrophic lakes. With the effect of civil construction at the upper region of the North Han river, the proportions of alpha-glucosidase-releasing bacteria were higher in Lake Paro and Lake Chuncheon. Beta-glucosidase proportions were high in Lake Paldang and showed high correlation with the concentration of chlorophyll a. The alkaline phophlatase proportion were higher in Lake Paro, Lake Chuncheon and Lake Paldang. The turnover rate of acetate showed no relationship with any other trophic state index intems, such as chlorophyll concentration, phosphate concentration and primary productivity. But the phosphatase activity showed high correlation coefficience, and it should be estimated as a trophic state index in these artificial reservoirs.

      • 소양호에서의 Alkaline Phosphatase 활성도의 Kinetics

        The kinetics of alkaline phosphatase activity were studied at the surface of a warm monomictic large reservoir, Lake Soyang, every two months from February 1988 to June 1989. Three sampling stations were located at the dam site, near a large netcage-type fishfarm, and a tributary stream inlet region where the dinoflagellate blooming occurs in warm seasons. Vmax of alkaling phosphatase, showing the range of 0.02∼5.95μ/M/l/hr, was high during the spring bloom, April and June, and low during the turnover time, October, December, and February.Kt + Sn, showing the range of 0.06∼31.0μ/M/l,was high during the turnoner time, which seems to be caused by the nutrients supply from the hypolimnion. Kt+Sn was much higher during turnover time at the fishfarm station than other stations, which is obviously resulting from the large amount of fecal deposition at the bottom and the diffusion of organic phosphorus upto the surface. Tt seems that at high density phytoplankton itself can be the substrate for alkaline phosphatase, since the peak time of Kt+Sn coincided with the peak of chlorophyll a concentration in the shallow stream inlet station where dinoflagellates aggregate.

        가정과 교육실습 프로그램 운영 개선에 대한 사례 연구

        This study employs a case study method to examine the current implementation of student teaching program in a particular teacher education institution and its affilated school. The purpose ofthis sutdy is to improve the quality ofhome economics student teaching proghram by promoting collaboration of teacher education institution and host schools. Following five research problems are addressed: (1) Examining the problems ofstudent teaching from the literature review; (2) Identifying the problems of student teaching recognized by home economics student teachers; (3) Identifying the problems of student teaching and plans for improvements suggested in the seminar held for home economics teacher; (4) Analyzing and comparing the differences of opinion between home economics student teachers and student teaching cooperating home economics teachers on the student teaching program; and (5) Suggesting alternative implementation plans for improving student teaching program by promoting collaboration of teacher education institution and host schools.
