        경부에 발생한 흉관낭종 1예

        Thoracic duct cysts are very rare. They are usually asymptomatic but sometimes cause compressive effects on structures near them due to enlarged supraclavicular mass. The etiology of thoracic duct cysts is not fully understood, but the possibility of congenital weakness or atherosclerotic changes of ductal wall, trauma, and inflammatory reactions have been suggested. Although image studies are helpful, the excision of mass and the histological studies are needed for definite diagnosis. We now report this extremely rare case of cervical thoracic duct cyst in the left supraclavicular fossa, including its diagnostic methods and pathogenesis.

        Spindle cell carcinoma is an uncommon type of squamous cell carcinoma characterized by a mixture of malignant epithelial and mesenchymal cells. Most spindle cell tumors are polypoid and pedunculated. It is usually detected at an early stage, removed by laryngoscope guided polypectomy at the time of diagnosis, and seems to have good prognosis. The tools for diagnosing spindle cell carcinoma are histopathological analysis and immunohistochemical analysis. With reviews of literature, we report a 72-year-old patient complaining of hoarseness and dysphagia who was later diagnosed as spindle cell carcinoma.

        피록시캄의 피부투과 및 소염효력에 대한 알코올성 하이드로겔 시스템의 영향

        These studies were designed to determine the effect of hydroalcoholic gel system (lower alkanol concentration : 40-60%) compared to general hydrogel system (lower alkanol concentration : 10-35%) on transdermal delivery of piroxicam and its anti-inflammatory activity. Piroxicam was incorporated into a hydroalcoholic gel and a hydrogel containing polymers, solvents, and cosolvents. The pH of gel was about 6.3-7.3 and the solvent mixtures were composed of water and various concentrations of ethanol (35, 40, 50, and 60%). For the in vitro study, the skin permeation of piroxicam from the gel formulations was investigated using Franz modified diffusion cells fitted with hairless mouse skin. For the in vivo study, the anti-inflammatory activity of hydroalcoholic gel was compared to other commercial products (piroxicam hydrogel and ketoprofen hydrogel) in rat and human. The anti-inflammatory activity was determined using carrageenan-induced foot edema model in rat. For the clinical study, it was evaluated from determining efficacy and acceptability with 98 patients suffering from musculoskeletal pain. A novel piroxicam hydroalcoholic gel was successfully formulated in the range of 40-50% of ethanol as solvent, more than 10% of propylene glycol, 5% of Transcutol^ⓡ and 1% of benzyl alcohol. The skin permeation of piroxicam using hydroalcoholic gel system was greater than that of general hydrogel system (flux : 139.1-148.2 ㎍/㎠/hr vs. 43.0-84.5 ㎍/㎠/hr) in vitro. In carrageenan-induced edema model, the anti-inflammatory activity of hydroalcoholic gel was better than that of piroxicam hydrogel for edema inhibition (75.1% vs. 62.9%, p<0.01). In clinical study, each visual analogue of pain scale (improvement point: 15.57 point vs. 3.61 point, p<0.05) and global acceptability assessment (satisfied patients: 76.2% vs. 47.7%, p<0.05) of new hydroalcoholic gel was significantly increased compared to ketoprofen hydrogel. The inclusion of piroxicam to the hydroalcoholic gel system was found to improve significantly the skin permeation in vitro and the anti-inflammatory activity in vivo.

        저온저장 중 품질이 저하된 단감을 이용한 식초의 제조

        저온저장 중 품질 열화가 일어난 단감의 산업적 이용성을 증지한기 위한 감식초의 가공조건을 조사한 결과, 연화된 단감을 파쇄하여 종초 10%와 알코올 4%를 첨가한 후 발효온도 30℃에서 2주 이내에 산도 4% 이상인 감식초가 발효되었으며, 15℃에서 3주간의 숙성 조건에서 식초 고유의 향미가 형성된 반면 포도당과 초산의 첨가는 최종 제품의 품질을 저하시키는 결과를 얻었다. 연화된 단감의 열처리 효과는 잡균에 의한 오염 가능성을 제거시킬 수 있었기 때문에 품질의 안정화를 위한 필수적인 공정으로 볼 수 있었다. 종초에서 분리된 산생성균주의 생육과 산생성능을 조사한 결과, AH-1은 발효 초기에 증식한 반면 AH-2는 발효 후기에 증식하면서 산을 생성하였다. 따라서 이러한 균주들이 서로 어우러져 최종적인 감식초의 품질을 결정하는 것으로 사료되었다. 감식초의 유기산 성분은 대부분이 acetic acid로 구성되어 있었고, 그 다음은 β-galacturonic acid였다. 그리고 tannin 함량은 시판제품에 비하여 16~44㎎% 정도 적게 나타났다. The optimum processing conditions for persimmon vinegar fermentation were determined using deteriorated deastringent persimmon during low temperature storage. Acid production was significantly increased during fermentation at 30℃ when starter was added as compared to the control. Addition of ethanol(4%) yielded the highest acidity during fermentation, whereas glucose and acetic acid addition resulted in vinegar of poor quality. Heat pretreatment of persimmon did not show any improvement in terms of acidity and quality of vinegar ; however, chances of contamination during fermentation was higher in case of persimmon vinegar without heat pretreatment. Optimum temperature for vinegar production was 35℃ ; however, 30℃ would be preferred, considering temperature fluctuation in process scale. Two acid producing bacteria were isolated from persimmon vinegar. AH-1 grew fast at the early stage of fermentation; in contrast, AH-2 grew and produced acid in later stage of fermentation. Therefore, AH-2 contributed to acid production in conjunction with AH-1.

        크기반전 보정기법을 이용한 진폭샘플링방식의 DRFM 구조

        In this paper, we propose DRFM(Digital Radio Frequency Memory) system structure and magnitude inversion phase correction method that can do signal recirculation without discontinuity point in amplitude sampling DRFM. DRFM is a device that stores the incoming signal and transmits at the desired timing. It is important that DRFM has a function of storing the signal close to the original signal without loss of signal information and a function of recirculating the stored signal repeatedly. When performing recirculation, it is a key function of performing recirculation so that discontinuity of output signal does not occur. In the case of the phase sampling method, when the recirculation is performed, the discontinuity of the signal does not occur but the signal magnitude information loss occurs. On the other hand, the amplitude sampling method has no loss of signal magnitude information, but a discontinuity occurs in the output signal during recirculation. In order to overcome this drawback, DRFM model applying reversed magnitude phase correction technique was verified by Matlab Simulation. 본 논문에서는 진폭샘플링방식에서 불연속점 발생 없이 신호 Recirculation이 가능한 DRFM 시스템 구조와 크기반전보정기법을 이용한 신호 Recirculation 기법을 제안한다. DRFM은 신호정보의 손실 없이 원신호에 가깝게 저장하는 기능과 저장된 신호를 반복해서 출력하는 Recirculation 기능이 중요하다. Recirculation 시, 신호의 불연속점이 생기지 않게 하는 것이 이 기능의 핵심이다. 위상 샘플링 방식의 경우 Recirculation 시, 신호의 불연속점이 발생하지 않지만 신호 정보의 손실이 발생한다. 반면 진폭 샘플링 방식의 경우 신호 정보의 손실을 적지만 Recirculation 시, 출력 신호에 불연속점이 발생한다. 이런 단점을 극복하기 위해 크기반전보정기법을 적용한 DRFM 모델을 Matlab 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 검증하였다.

        유기첨가제 sulfopropyl-vinyl-pyridinium-betaine가 포함된 전해액으로 전기도금한 니켈 박막의 물성

        We studied the properties of nickel thin films prepared by using the electroplating method. We made use of the well-known Watt bath as the plating electrolyte. We added sulfopropyl vinyl pyridinium betaine (SVPB) to the electrolyte as an organic additive. X-ray diffraction revealed that the nickel films prepared without SVBP were mostly composed of Ni(111) with a grain size of 30 nm. We increased the concentration of SVBP in the electrolyte from 0 to 20 mL/L, which caused a decrease in the grain size of Ni(111), the appearance of Ni(200), and a subsequent increase in the grain size. As we measured the optical reflectance in the wavelength range from 200 to 1500 nm, the thin film prepared with 20 mL/L of SVBP showed an increase in reflectance. The increase in the reflectance was relatively larger at short wavelengths. 본 연구에서는 전기도금 방법으로 니켈 박막을 제작하고 그 물성을 조사하였다. 도금용 전해액으로는 잘 알려져 있는 Watt bath를 이용하였는데, 전해액 내에 유기첨가제인 sulfopropyl vinyl pyridinium betaine (SVPB)을 첨가하였다. X-선 회절분석 결과, SVBP를 가하지 않은 경우 도금 니켈 박막은 30 nm 크기의 Ni(111)으로 구성되어 있다. SVBP의 농도를 0-20 mL/L의 영역에서 증가함에 따라 박막 내 Ni(111)의 크기는 감소하였으며, Ni(200)이 생성되고 그 크기가 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 200-1500 nm 파장영역에서의 반사계수를 측정하였는데, 20 mL/L 농도의 SVPB를 가한 경우 반사계수가 증가하였는데, 자외선 영역과 짧은 가시광선 영역에서 상대적으로 더 크게 증가하였다.
