        고지방식이 유도 비만 마우스에서 창출, 지모, 육계, 목단피 혼합추출물의 항비만 및 항당뇨 효능 연구

        Objectives: In this study, we investigated the antiobesity and antidiabetic effects of polyherbal extract, DM2 consisting of Atractylodis Rhizoma, Anemarrhenae Rhizoma, Cinnamomi Cortex, and Moutan Radicles Cortex in high fat diet-induced obesity mice. Methods: DM2 extract was prepared with a hot water. Six-week-old male C57BL/6N mice were fed a high-fat diet (HFD) for 8 weeks and then administrated with DM2 extract (500 mg/kg, p.o.) for 4 weeks. The changes of physiological markers, body weight (BW), food and water intakes, and the levels of fasting blood glucose (FBG) were measured once a week for 4 weeks in mice. The the serum levels of glucose, insulin, aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), total cholesterol (T-CHO), triglyceride, and low density lipoprotein cholesterol in sera were measured in mice using autometic chemical analyzer and enzyme linked immunosorbant assay. We also observed the histological changes of liver and pancreatic tissues with Hematoxylin & Eosin staining. Results: In physiological change, the increases of BW, calorie intake, and FBG in HFD-induced obese mice were significantly decreased after administration of DM2 extract for 4 weeks. The decrease of water intake was significantly increased in DM2 extract-administrated mice. In serological change, the administration of DM2 extract in obesity mice was significantly decreased the serum levels of glucose, insulin, T-CHO, AST, and ALT levels. We also found that DM2 extract inhibited the increase of lipid droplets in liver and the structural destruction of pancreatic tissues in obesity mice. Conclusion: Our study demonstrated that DM2 extract has antiobesity antidiabetic effects with body weight loss, decrease of glucose and insulin levels, and lipid accumulation on liver tissue.

        고지방식이 유도 비만 마우스에서 황련, 단삼, 육계 복합추출물의 비만 개선 및 당뇨 예방 효과

        Objectives: We investigated the effects of Clean-DM4 (C-DM4), a polyherbal extract consisting of Coptidis Rhizoma, Salviae Miltiorrhiza Radix, and Cinnamomi Cortex on high fat diet (HFD)-induced obesity and diabetes in mice. Methods: The C57BL/6 mice (6 weeks) were fed a HFD for 8 weeks and then administrated with C-DM4 extract at 500 mg/kg (p.o.) once daily for 4 weeks. The changes of body weights, calorie intakes, and fasting blood glucose (FBG) levels were measured in mice. The serum levels of glucose, insulin, total cholesterol, aspartate aminotransferase (AST), and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) were measured in mice by enzyme-based assay. It was also observed the histological changes of pancreas, liver, and fat tissues with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining. Results: The increase of calorie intakes and FBG levels in HFD-induced obesity mice was significantly decreased by oral administration of C-DM4 extract. C-DM4 extract administration was significantly reduced the increased levels of glucose, insulin, total cholesterol, AST, and ALT in obesity mice. In addition, C-DM4 extract inhibited lipid droplet accumulation in liver tissues of obesity mice, hyperplasia of pancreatic islets, and enlargement of adipocytes in adipose tissues. Conclusions: Our study indicates that C-DM4 extract could help improve obesity and to prevent diabetes progression.

        외식 및 조리전공 학생의 조리교육환경과 전공 만족 간의 구조관계

        본 연구에서는 외식 및 조리전공 학생들을 대상으로 조리교육환경이 전공 몰입과 전공 만족에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 구체적으로, 조리 교육 환경이 전공몰입과 전공 만족에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고, 이들 사이에서 전공 몰입의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 조리교육환경의 하위 요인들 중 교과 과정, 교수 능력, 사회 인식이 전공 몰입에 유의한 영향을 미친 것으로 확인되었으며, 전공 몰입이 전공 만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 드러났다. 더불어, 조리교육환경과 전공 만족 사이에서 전공 몰입의 부분 매개효과가 나타났다. 이를 통해 조리 교육 환경 개선이 전공 몰입 및 전공 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있음을 확인할 수 있다. This study analyzed the effects of culinary education environment on major immersion and major satisfaction among students majoring in foodservice and culinary arts at various educational institutions. Specifically, the study examined the influence of the culinary education environment on major immersion and major satisfaction, and it verified the mediating effect of major immersion between them. The results of research confirmed that among the sub-factors of the culinary education environment, curriculum, teaching ability, and social recognition had a significant effect on major immersion, and major immersion had a significant effect on major satisfaction. Furthermore, partial mediating effects of major immersion were observed between the culinary education environment and major satisfaction. The results showed that improving the culinary education environment can have a positive influence on both major immersion and major satisfaction.

        단일 영상에서 3차원 정보를 획득하기 위해 가장 많이 사용되는 단서로는 소실점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 소실점을 추정하기 위해서 허프변환을 사용하여, 단일 영상의 소실점 탐색 시 유효 직선간의 기울기 값 비교 및 근접도를 구하여 교점 생성에 필요 없는 정보를 제거함으로서 소실점 추정 정확도를 높인 보다 정확한 소실점 탐색 기법을 제안하였다.

      • 비후성 유문협착증에 대한 유문근 절개술에서 개복 술식과 복강경 술식의 비교

        Hypertrophic pyloric stenosis (HPS) is the most common infantile surgical condition and the standard treatment is open pyloromyotomy. Recently, laparoscopic techniques have rapidly advanced, and the laparoscopic approach has become widely adopted by pediatric surgeons. The aim of this study was to compare the clinical outcomes between open and laparoscopic pyloromyotomy. We retrospectively evaluated outcomes of pyloromyotomy for HPS by the open (OP) and the laparoscopic (LP) method. The procedures were performed at the Samsung Medical Center between September 2001 and March 2009. We analyzed patient age, sex, birth weight, length of hospital stay, postoperative length of stay (LOS), operating time, time to feeding commencement, postoperative vomiting frequency, the time to full feeding without vomiting, and surgical complications. A total of 54 patients were included in the study. There were 26 OP and 28 LP patients. There was no statistically significant difference in age, sex, birth weight, operating time, postoperative emesis. In contrast, postoperative LOS in the LP group was statistically significantly shorter than that in the OP group (2.0 vs. 3.3 days, p=0.0003) and time to full feeding was significantly shorter following LP. (p=0.018) There were no wound complications. Laparoscopic pyloromyotomy significantly reduced postoperative LOS and time to full feeding compared to open pyloromyotomy.

        사람 말초혈액 단핵세포에서 녹두 렉틴의 사이토카인 생성효과

        New lectins have been isolated and purified from mung bean (Phaseolus radiatus) through physiological saline extraction, ammonium sulfate salt fractionation and column chromatographies. Ion exchanger were eluted by linear salt gradient and then further purified through gel filtration. Thus obtained lectin named as MBL. The gene expressions of 5 cytokines (IL-1, IL-2, IL-6, $TNF-{\aphpa}$ and $IFN-{\gamma}$) from human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) stimulated with MBL were investigated by using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). PBMC ($1{\times}106$ cells/ml) isolated from healthy volunteers were stimulated with lectins (4 mg/ml) for various time intervals (1 to 96 hrs). After each of the various stimulated times, total RNA was isolated and assessed for different cytokines mRNA by RT-PCR. The mRNA encoding IL-1, IL-2 were detected continuously from 1 to 20 hrs, and IL-6 was detected up to 24 hrs. But the mRNA encoding $IFN-{\gamma}$ and $TNF-{\alpha}$ were detected to 8 hours only and showed short time response compared with other cytokines. The significant expression of all cytokines mRNA were observed at 4 hrs. These results suggested that MBL, as inducer of cytokines could elicit detectable cytokine mRNA from PBMC.

        양성 뇌종양 환자의 개두술 후 시기별 자가간호역량과 삶의 질

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the self-care agency and quality of life (QOL) among patients with brain tumors after craniotomy. Methods: A sample of 96 patients was recruited from a university hospital in Seoul. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire from August 2017 to December 2018. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson correlations and multiple regression analyses with SPSS 24.0, IBM. Results: The mean scores of the 1st and 2nd stages in the selfcare agency increased from 4.75 to 5.15, and in the quality of life rose from 67.94 to 78.60. The score of the second stage was higher than the first in all sub-scales of the self-care agency and the quality. Physical function was the only sub-scale of the self-care agency that affected quality of life in both stages (1st: β=.71, p<.001, 2nd : β=.77, p< .001). Conclusion: Based on the result, to improve QOL with brain tumor after craniotomy, it is important to assess physical function of patients and provide appropriate interventions.

        3T3-L1 지방전구세포에서 Quercetin이 Matrix Metalloproteinases 억제에 의한 지방세포 분화에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 3T3-L1 지방전구세포에서 quercetin이 MMPs를 억제하여 지방세포의 분화와 지방축적, 신혈관생성을 억제한다는 기전을 규명하는 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 3T3-L1 지방전구세포에 PMA를 처리하면 MMP-2와 MMP-9의 mRNA 발현과 활성이 유의적으로 증가하였으며, PMA와 함께 quercetin을 처리하면 quercetin의 처리농도가 증가함에 따라 MMP-2와 MMP-9의 mRNA 발현과 활성이 유의적으로 감소하였다. 그리고 PMA를 처리하면 3T3-L1 세포에서 세포 내 지방축적과 GPDH 활성, 지방세포분화와 관련된 전사인자인 C/EBPβ, C/EBPα, PPARγ 및 FABP4의 mRNA 발현이 유의적으로 증가하였으며, PMA와 quercetin을 함께 처리하면 세포 내 지방축적과 GPDH 활성, 지방세포분화와 관련된 전사인자들의 mRNA 발현이 quercetin의 처리농도가 증가함에 따라 유의적으로 감소하였다. 또한 3T3-L1 지방전구세포에 PMA를 처리하면 혈관내피세포 성장인자인 VEGF-A와 그 수용체인 VEGFR-2의 mRNA 발현이 유의적으로 증가하였으며, PMA와 함께 quercetin을 처리하면 quercetin의 처리농도가 증가함에 따라 VEGF-A와 그 수용체인 VEGFR-2의 mRNA 발현이 감소하였다. 그러므로 본 실험 조건에서 quercetin은 MMPs를 억제해 지방세포의 분화와 지방축적, 신혈관생성을 저해한다는 작용기전을 확인하였다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the inhibitory effects of quercetin on differentiation and angiogenesis via matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) in 3T3-L1 preadipocytes. The adipocytes were treated with quercetin (0, 5, 10, and 20 μM) for 24 h and the activation of the MMPs was induced by phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA) (100 ng/mL) (PMA+) for 2 h. The mRNA expression and activity of MMP-2 and MMP-9 were measured using a real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay kit, respectively. Oil-Red-O (ORO) staining and glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GPDH) activity were measured. Also, the mRNA expressions of CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein (C/EBP) β, C/EBPα, peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) γ, fatty acid-binding protein (FABP) 4, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-A, and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR)-2 were measured using a real-time PCR. The mRNA expression and activity of MMP-2 and MMP-9 were significantly increased in the quercetin 0 μM (PMA+) group compared to the quercetin 0 μM (PMA−) group, and they were significantly decreased by quercetin treatment (P<0.05). ORO staining and GPDH activity were significantly increased in the quercetin 0 μM (PMA+) group compared to the quercetin 0 μM (PMA−) group, and they were significantly decreased by quercetin treatment (P<0.05). The mRNA expressions of C/EBPβ, C/EBPα, PPARγ, FABP4, VEGF-A, and VEGFR-2 were significantly increased in the quercetin 0 μM (PMA+) group compared to the quercetin 0 μM (PMA−) group, and they were significantly decreased by the quercetin treatment (P<0.05). In conclusion, quercetin can inhibit differentiation and angiogenesis in 3T3-L1 preadipocytes through the suppression of MMPs.

        델파이기법을 활용한 한국 식문화 선호유형에 따른 해외 조리학교 한식교육 프로그램 개발 방향 연구

        본 연구는 태국에 있는 해외 조리학교의 한식교육 수혜자를 대상으로 한식에 대한 선호도와 교육 프로그램 개발 방향을 델파이기법을 통해 조사하였다. 참가자들은 한국 식문화의 문화성, 독창성, 미각성, 전통성, 건강성을 중요하게 생각하며, 한식 교육에 참여하는 주된 이유는 한국 음식 체험, 맛과 건강에 대한 관심, 조리 기술 학습이었다. 교육 방법은 실용적인 레시피와 적절한 교육과정이 중요하고, 강사의 한국어 및 외국어 능력과 이론과 실습의 적절한 교수법이 필요하다고 조사되었다. 본 연구는 해외에서 진행되고 있는 한식교육 프로그램 개발에 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있으며, 향후 다양한 문화권에 있는 조리학교 학생들의 활발한 후속 비교 연구들을 통해 K-food가 전 세계에 확고히 자리매김할 수 있는 초석의 연구의 기반을 마련할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. This study investigated the preferences for Korean cuisine and directions for developing educational programs among students who have received Korean cuisine education at foreign culinary school in Thailand. Using the Delphi method, participants emphasized the cultural, innovative, flavorful, traditional, and healthy aspects of Korean food. Their main reasons for engaging in Korean cuisine education were experience, taste, health, and culinary skill acquisition. Practical recipes, appropriate curriculum design, language proficiency, and integration of theory and practice were identified as important educational methods. This research can serve as foundational material for the development of Korean cuisine education programs being conducted abroad and be anticipated to lay the groundwork for K-food's global establishment through diverse cross-cultural follow-up studies.
