        기능성 의복의 인간공학적 평가 체계 개발 및 적용: 방염복의 평가 및 개선 대상 파악

        Ergonomic methods have been effectively applied to design and evaluation of functional clothing. The goals of the present study are to: (1) develop an ergonomic evaluation system for the systematic analysis of functional clothing and (2) examine the usefulness of the proposed evaluation system by applying to flame-proof clothing. Based on the survey of literature and the brainstorming of experts in clothing design and ergonomics, factors considered for clothing evaluation were selected, classified, and complemented, resulting in an ergonomic clothing evaluation system consisting of four factor categories (clothing construction, user, work and environment, and user response). Using the proposed system, a field survey and a laboratory experiment were conducted for flame-proof clothing to identify its design problems. The field survey to workers found a comprehensive set of problems on the flame-proof clothing design in terms of pattern, textile, and color. The laboratory experiment identified additional design problems using a questionnaire that was developed based on an analysis on the relationship between clothing design components and ergonomic evaluation measures. The present study showed the ergonomic evaluation system and the relationship analysis of clothing design components and ergonomic evaluation measures are of use to identify design problems of functional clothing in a comprehensive and analytic manner.

      • DCT 변환계수의 인덱스의존 (줄길이, 레벨) 부호화

        본 논문에서는 확률분포함수의 구조적인 차이를 이용하여, DCT계수를 효율적으로 부호화하는 새로운 접근에 대하여 논의하였다. 신호원 모델에 따라 신호를 분리함으로써 신호의 엔트로피를 감소시킬 수 있음을 해석적으로 증명하였으며, (줄길이, 레벨) 심볼들을 그 심복의 인덱스에 따라 적응적으로 부호화함으로써 평균부호길이가 감소함을 실험을 통하여 보였다. In this paper, we have addressed a new approach to encode the DCT coefficients efficiently by exploiting the structural differences among the probability distribution functions of them. We have proved analytically that if signals are separated according to their source models, the entropy of the separated signals decreases below that of the unseparated signals. And simulation results show that the average codelength decrease when each (runlength, level) symbol is encoded adaptively according to the index associated with the symbol.

        기업은 시장경쟁력 향상에 중요한 혁신제품개발을 위해 다각적으로 노력하고 있으나, 국내 대학은 혁신제품개발 전문인력 양성을 위한 교육과정 체계가 미흡하다. 본 연구는 혁신제품개발 교육과정 개발에 활용될 수 있는 교육주제, 교육방식, 그리고 산학연계방식에 대해 학생과 실무자의 요구사항을 파악하고자 하였다. 문헌조사를 통해 7개 부문(기획, 타당성 분석, concept 개발, 제품 설계, 제조 공정 설계, 생산, 윤리와 법)의 46개 제품개발 교육주제가 선정되었다. 제품개발 관련 과목 수강생(53명)과 관련업무 종사자(36명)를 대상으로 선정된 교육주제의 선호도(학생)/중요도(실무자), 교육방식 및 산학연계방식에 대한 의견이 조사되었다. 설문 분석 결과, 7개 교육 부문에 대해 학생은 균형 있는 교육을 선호하는 반면 실무자는 기획과 concept 개발 부문이 상대적으로 중요하게 교육되어야 한다고 응답하였으며, 교육주제들 중 6가지(제품개발전략, 고객요구조사, 시장조사, concept 창출 방법, 디자인 idea 생성방법, 인간공학 디자인)에 대해 학생과 실무자가 공통적으로 선호 혹은 중요시하는 것으로 파악되었다. 또한, 학생은 다양한 교육방식(이론, 토론, 발표, 실습, 사례연구)의 균형 있는 운영을 선호하며 각 교육방식에 대한 요구사항을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 산학연계방식에 대해 학생은 산업체와의 연계를 통한 실무학습 기회를 희망하였으며, 실무자는 학교와 산업체가 상호 혜택을 제공할 수 있는 방안들을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 파악된 학생과 실무자의 요구사항은 혁신제품개발 전문인력 양성을 위한 교과과정 개발 시 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다. Companies have been making considerable efforts to develop innovative products for better competitiveness in the market, however, the education curriculum for innovative product development (IPD) in domestic universities needs has not been well developed. The present study was intended to identify the needs of students and practitioners regarding teaching subjects, pedagogical methods, and industry-academia collaboration that can be reflected in the development of IPD education curriculum. Through a literature survey 46 IPD teaching subjects of 7 categories (planning, feasibility analysis, concept development, product design, manufacturing process design, production, and ethics & law) were selected. Opinions on the preferences and importances of the teaching subjects, pedagogical methods, and industry-academia collaboration were collected from 53 college students who took courses of product development and 36 practitioners working in product development. While the students preferred the balanced teaching of all the subject categories, the practitioners suggested planning and concept development be taught with high importance; 6 subjects (product development strategy, customer needs identification, market research, concept generation method, design ideation method, and ergonomic design) received high ratings of preference and importance. The students preferred the mix of various pedagogical methods (lecture, discussion, presentation, practice, and case study) and provided needs on each pedagogical method. Lastly, the students wanted an opportunity of learning through industry-academia collaboration and the practitioners provided ideas for mutual benefits between industry and academia. The needs of students and practitioners identified in the study can be effectively applied to develop a better IPD education curriculum.

      • 방염복의 인간공학적 평가 및 비용 대비 효과 분석

        The present study was to (1) develop an ergonomic evaluation system for the systematic analysis of flame-proof clothing (2) comprehensively examine the effectiveness of clothing improvement by using the relationship analysis between clothing design components (D) and ergonomic evaluation measures (E) and (3) prove the usefulness of cost-effectiveness analysis for clothing design optimization. An ergonomic evaluation system for flame-proof clothing was established which consists of four analysis categories (clothing construction, user demographics, work and environment, and usability metrics). By applying the proposed system, the field survey to workers found a comprehensive set of problems on the flame-proof clothing design. The laboratory experiment identified additional design problems using a questionnaire that was developed based on a relationship analysis between D and E. The cost effectiveness analysis is comprised of the preliminary evaluation based on expertise and the in-depth evaluation where the D-E relationship analysis is applied. As a result of the cost effectiveness analysis applied to flame-proof clothing, an optimal design was identified by analyzing costs and qualitative/quantitative effects. It was concluded that the D-E relationship analysis and the cost-effectiveness analysis are useful for comprehensive evaluation and optimization of flame-proof clothing design.

      • 社會變動에 관한 經濟社會學的 硏究 : 構造·機能主義의 視角을 中心으로

        The theoretical objective of this essay is to construct an analytical model of social change process at the societal level. The societal system analysis developed by Parsons and structural differentiation model developed by Smelser is by its nature an appropriate method for analysing dynamic processes of change in social system. It takes for granted that such phenomena as tensions and disturbances are incorporated in the very processes leading to equilibrium. Thus I think it is useful to borrow the basic framework of Social system analysis and structural differentiation model to build a model for explaining Social change processes and social development stimulated by industrialization. By viewing function as a leading concept this model is able to explain the route through which technological progress affects structural change and the structural changes accompanying industrialization can be viewed as integrated movements toward functional rationalization. The problem of social change arises when the equilibrium conditions, under which the system normally functions, are disturbed. In line with this logic, this paper is organized into five sections as follows:

      • T.Parsons의 社會變動論에 대한 視角과 그 理論的 考察

        The purpose in writing this paper has been to accomplish three objectives; 1) to answer the question, what is T. Parsons' fundamental way of thinking of social change? 2) to describe the major aspects of the T. Parsons' theoretical perspective and 3) to present and examine his theory. In line with these objectives, this paper is organized into three sections. In chapterⅠ, I have stated the scope and range to analyze T. Parsons' works. Chapter Ⅱ describes and analyzes what I conceive to be the most important theoretical perspective of Social Change theory in T. Parsons' works as follows; 1. Social Change and Social System 2. Social Change and Institutional Change 3. Social Change and Structural & Value System Change 4. Social Change and Evolutionary Change In chapter Ⅲ, I have incorporated a comprehensive understanding of Parsons' theoretical perspective of social change.

      • ME화의 전개와 노동문제에 관한 연구 : 경제사회학적 관점을 중심으로 Chiefly on Perspective of Economic Sociology

        This paper is aimed to investigate general trends and patterns of the effects of microelectronics on the quantity and quality of work in the advanced countries. The contents are constrctured as follows ; Chapter 1 deals with introduction. Chapter 2 outlines the perspectives of economic sociology which have been developed to analyse technologial change at work. Chapter 3 examines the diffusion of ME and changes on the quality of work. it concentrates specifically on technological effects of lebour process at workplace level, in particular the influence of ME on changes in work tasks, skills, job contents, work organisation and the way in which labour-management are negotiating each other. Chapter 5 draws together the arguments and findings in previous chapters. In short, First, it is necessary to explore not only quantum of work, but also its quality to understand the labour problems of ME. Secondly, findings of a number of case studies suggest that similar changes, namely the importance of the role of Joint Consultation Participation and Cooperation are gradually growing in a considerable number of industries to solve its labour problems. Thus, the ways to solve labour problems will be opened only when the labour and management are able to make the cooperative culture of rationalisation with their great effort of will to cope with new era of microelectronics.

      • 노동운동의 이론적 모형 : 퍼얼만의 이론을 중심으로 Cheifly on Perlman's Theory

        Theorizing about labor movement has always been an elusive, complex task, in great part because the labor movement has taken widely differnt forms historically, even in the same country and takes different forms currently in various parts of the world. Thus, This paper attempts to help stimulate our thinking about complex labor theory and to confirm some of nature of labor movement theory by analysing one of the most important labor theorists, Perlman's theoretical structure of labor movement. He developed a theoretical model of businesss unionism which idiologically accepts the capitalist system and bases its strategies on an assumption of the job consciousness of workers, in contrast with many european movements which reject the capitalist system and base their strategies on an assumption of the class consciousness of workers. His core logic of explaining labor movement are as follows ; 1) he rejects the idea of class consciousness as an explanation for the origin of trade unions and substitutes for it the notion of "job consciousness". It is not until the manualists became aware of a scarcity of opportunity, Perlman maintains, that they band together into unions for the purpose of protecting their job and apportioning available employment opportunities on an equitable basis. 2) He sees the funcion and object of labor movement as an interest group for workers within competitive market economy ; the trade unions function to increase labor's bargaining power, partically over matters of "job security and control". He, therefore, rejects any kind of wide ranging political action by unions which is not directly related to their economic function 3) He provides three-factor system shaping the development and form of labor movements ; the resistance power of capitalism, the degree of dominance over the labor movements by the intellectual mentality and the degree fo maturity of trade union. 4) and thus, he regards future of the labor movement as an optimistic view. I think that his first, such a series of comprehensive and systematic explantion in the field of labor theory would enable us to understand the important aspects of nature, motivation, development and forms of labor movement whatever it may have some of its weakenss.
