This paper proposes facial feature tracking based on modified ART2 neural networks. And we also suggest new measurement devices such as 'Persistence Exponent' and 'Moving Space Exponent' for the criterion of input vector which consists features. The proposed methods have been applied to classify 48 students by 2-class (ADHD positive, ADHD negative). The results of the experiment have shown that the proposed methods are effective for ADHD Behavior Pattern Classification based on the Image Processing.

내경계막 제거술 후 광간섭단층촬영에서 나타난 황반부 형태의 변형에 대한 분석

`Purpose: To analyse the postoperative anatomical changes of maculae using optical coherent tomography after internal limiting membrane peeling during vitrectomy. Methods: A retrospective review of 22 patients (22 eyes) who underwent vitrectomy with internal limiting membrane peeling was performed. Age, sex, fundus findings, BCVA, operation methods, complications, and postoperative OCT findings were recorded. Results: Of 22 eyes, 12 eyes had epiretinal membranes, 5 eyes had macular holes, and 5 eyes had diffuse diabetic macular edemas. Eighteen of 22 eyes underwent internal limiting membrane peeling using ICG, with 1 eye treated with triamcinolone and 3 eyes treated with nothing. The postoperative improvement of BCVA was statistically significant in epiretinal membrane and diffuse macular edema patients (p<0.05), but insignificant in macular hole patients (p>0.05). Postoperative OCT findings of 17 eyes showed that they had returned to normal shape and thickness. However, among the 18 eyes that underwent ICG dye-assisted ILM, 3 eyes showed irregular macular thinning and 1 eye showed macular cystic changes. One eye treated with triamcinolone presented with a recurrent cytoid macular edema. No postoperative complications or recurrences were reported by epiretinal membrane patients. Conclusions: Changes to macular shape did not significantly affect the final BCVA after internal limiting membrane peeling, but they can cause changes to the microstructure of maculae. Therefore, caution during surgery and close follow-up are necessary.`

Purpose: We investigated reproducibility and repeatability of average macular thickness and volume measurements in normal eyes with Cirrus HD OCT (optical coherence tomography). Methods: Fifty normal eyes from twenty-five subjects without medical and ocular histories were included. Macular cube 512 × 128 combination scanning using the Cirrus HD OCT was performed for a total of three times on the same visit by an experienced technician. Then other two technicians performed one more macular scanning respectively. Within-results, the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) was calculated for each parameter studied to evaluate repeatability and reproducibility. The correlation between macular measurements and demographic variables (age, gender, and spherical equivalent) were also investigated. Results: The ICCs for intraoperator reproducibility were 0.99 on the average macular thickness and 0.96 on the macular volume. And the ICCs for interoperator repeatability were found to be 0.98 and 0.96, respectively. The ICCs for measurements of nine regional retinal thickness also were higher than 0.90. The retinal thickness was correlated with age, gender and refractive error. However, neither age nor refractive error affected to reproducibility and repeatability. Conclusions: The retinal thickness and macular volume measurements using Cirrus HD OCT in healthy volunteers showed excellent reproducibility and repeatability. Therefore, Cirrus HD OCT has been recognized as an useful tool for diagnosis and mornitoring of variable maculopathies. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2011;52(10):1182-1188

Tsutsugamushi fever occupies more than 80% of total fall epidemic diseases and has an incubation period of 1 or 2 weeks as well. We have assumed that the incubation period distribution is gamma and therefore, reach an agreement that the infected distribution is normal with ${\hat{\mu}}=309.92$, ${\hat{\sigma}}=14.154$ by back calculation method. The infection cases are found severely large around the month of October. The infection case distribution demonstrates the incidence number increasing rapidly and progresses fast during the month of November. In this study, we have calculated the future prevalence number of maximum 1,200 people by inferred infection probability and incubation period distribution with some sort of limitation that the trend of increasing incidence number is not taking into an account. We considered the SIRS model which is also known as epidemic model, familiar to interaction between epidemiological classes. Our estimated parameters converged well with the initial parameter values.
5·18 사적지 기념공원화 계획 - 국군광주병원과 505보안부대 옛터를 대상으로 -

This study presents a plan for a memorial park that respects the characteristics based on the historical facts for the concept of space of the Gwangju Hospital of Korea Army and the location of the 505 Security Forces, which were designated as historic sites after the 5-18 Democratization Movement. The Gwangju Metropolitan City as it is the location of the 5-18 historic sites, is taking part in the 5-18 Memorial Project, and plans to establish a city park recognizing the historic site of the 5-18 Democratization Movement, which has been preserved only as a memory space to this point. The park is promoting a phased development plan. This study suggests that the 5-18 historic sites can be modernized and that social consensus can establish the framework of the step-by-step planning and composition process to ensure the plans for the space heals wounds while preserving the history. In this paper, we propose a solution to a problem. We solve the approach for space utilization through an analysis of precedent research and planning cases related to park planning at historical sites. In addition to exploring the value of the site, we also describe the space utilization strategy that covers the historical characteristics and facts while maintaining the concept of park planning. As a result of the research, the historic site of the Gwangju Hospital of Korea Army is planned as a park of historical memory and healing in order to solve the problems left behind by the 5-18 Democratization Movement. The historic site of the 505 Security Forces was selected as an area for historical experiences and a place for learning that can be sympathized with by future generations of children and adolescents in terms of expanding and sustaining the memory of the 5-18 Democratization Movement. In the planning stage, the historical sites suggested the direction of space utilization for representation as did the social consensus of citizens, related groups, and specialists. Through this study, we will contribute to construction of a memorial park containing historical values in from 5-18 historic sites. It is meaningful to suggest a direction that can revitalize the life of the city as well as its citizen and can share with the history with future generations beyond being a place to heal wounds and keep alive the memory of the past.

In order to determine the Mode I stress intensity factor ($K_1$) experimentally by means of the alternating current potential drop(ACPD) technique, the change in potential drop due to load for a ferromagnetic material containing a two-dimensional surface crack was examined. The cause of the change in potential drop and the effect of the magnetic flux on the change in potential drop were clarified by using the measuring systems with and without removing the magnetic flux from the circumference of the specimen. To remove the magnetic flux, a new measuring system was made by utilizing the characteristic of coaxial transmission line. The change in potential drop in the case without magnetic flux in the air was caused by the change in electromagnetic properties near the crack tip due to magnetization. The relationship between the change in potential drop and the change in $K_I$ was linealized by demagnetization and was found to be independent of the crack length.

The purpose of this study is to develope a criterion for evaluation on game-type learning programs by the application of HCI(Human Computer Interaction) theory. And to analyze game-type learning programs for elementary students on the criterion developed in this study. The HCI theory, which deals with principles or methods for developing systems people can use conveniently and pleasantly, has been applied to overall area of program development. And it also has been widely used to evaluate learning programs. However, there have been few studies on a game-type learning program evaluation on the basis of the HCI theory. This paper shows that evaluation criteria are developed on three viewpoint bases : usefulness, usability, and affect which are as elements in HCI. And analyzes the game-type learning programs from these three points of view. The evaluation criteria developed in this study can be applied to a basis for evaluation on game-type learning programs, and the analysis will be able to be a useful guide to game programers as well as its users.
In-situ 성장법에 의한 ZIF-8 분리막 합성 및 H<sub>2</sub>/CO<sub>2</sub> 분리 특성

ZIFs (Zeolitic imdazolate frameworks) have attracted great attention as membrane materials in recent years due to their high chemical and thermal stability, high specific surface area and adjustable pore structure. In this study, ZIF-8 membranes were synthesized by in-situ growth method on two different support materials (${\alpha}$-alumina and YSZ) and their $H_2/CO_2$ gas permeation characteristics were investigated. In order to synthesize defect-free ZIF-8 layer, YSZ support required less synthesis time than ${\alpha}$-alumina support due to smaller pore size. After in-situ growth for 3 h, ZIF-8 membranes prepared on both YSZ and ${\alpha}$-alumina supports showed $H_2/CO_2$ selectivity of about 10.

This study was conducted to develop an efficiency prediction program of a hydraulic secondary energy converter for calculating annual power generation of a Wavestar type wave power generator. Using the period and wave height obtained from the frequency domain analysis, the behavior of the floating body was obtained by assuming the sin function. The piston displacement and speed of the hydraulic cylinder were calculated considering the behavior of the floating body and the shape of the mechanism. The numerical simulation of the hydraulic system was performed by physically modeling the hydraulic cylinders, check valves, hydraulic motors, which are the main devices. In the future, this analysis program will be used to develop a program for estimating annual power generation of a moveable body type wave power generation device.
과학일지 쓰기가 과학영재의 인지적 ${\cdot}$ 정의적 특성에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of science journal writings on the cognitive and affective features of the science gifted students. In this research, the tasks of on-line science journal writings were assigned for 6 months and the subjects in this study were 21 students of Chemistry Division of the Center for Science Gifted Education, Seoul National University. Consequently in science journals, science concepts are found in various aspects according to the writing formats, and psychological and behavioral characteristics of the science-gifted are revealed in positive or negative aspects. In cognitive prospect, science journal writing equips students with better understanding about science concepts and scientific research. In affective prospect, science journal writing help students improve observation and attitude toward science as wren as writing skills. Accordingly, science journal writing has positive effect on cognitive and affective characteristics of the science-gifted. In conclusion, acknowledged by most of science-gifted students as both beneficial and appropriate in their education program, science journal writing should be emphasized in education for science-gifted students.
