Objectives: Ever Since it was made in the middle of 17th century by Saamdoin, Saam acupuncture method has been handed down to acupuncturists as a written form, playing a huge role in using for treating diseases of people in Korea. Saam acupuncture method development of any process, and have been propagated in a foreign country to study. Methods: Analysis of ancient medical books, we studied the evolution of Saam acupuncture method. And we looked abroad Saam acupuncture method have been propagated abroad by examining how. Results: At the end of Joseon Dynasty, lots of clinical cases were added to Saam acupuncture method and as a result, it helped acupuncturists understand how it really worked. During the Japanese colonial era, it was introduced to more people thanks to the development of a printing technique. After Korea`s liberation from Japan, many scholars have studied Saam`s acupuncture method, and they also have applied it to clinical cases in various ways. Conclusions: With its superiority and creativeness, Saam acupuncture method spread to Japanese acupuncturists in the name of Meridian Therapy during the Japanese colonial era. It had a great impact on medicine in China and many other countries, as well.

Compared to other types of power, hydraulic energy is the most commonly used for heavy vehicles and ships because it has fewer location and space constraints, and its controllability can be maintained even under adverse conditions. Operators have controlled a main control valve of ship winches by pushing or pulling the lever, which is directly connected to the spool. However, because of the spatial arrangement, the importance of remote control valves has emerged. In this paper, experiments of the hysteresis characteristics were performed by analyzing the remote-control valve using a valve tester and RA2300. The validity was verified by comparing with the analytical model using SimulationX as the hydraulic analysis program. This study examined the effects of the spool"s notch (Non, End-mill, and Spherical) and the effects of stiffness and pre-load of the spool spring on Spool stroke, open area, and hysteresis characteristics. It is considered possible to reduce the cost and the, trial and error process in designing remote-control valves in the future.
오피스 가격지수의 개발 및 거시경제변수와의 관계에 관한 연구

1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study is to create and calculate office property price index and observe the relationship between office property price index and macro economic factors such as GDP, M2, bond interest rate, stock prices and foreign exchange rate. (2) RESEARCH METHOD This research was focused on analyzing the relationship between office property price index and macroeconomic variables. Construcing office property price index, repetitive sales model was used. VAR model was constructed and impulse response functions were estimated to investigate the relationships between office property price index and macroeconomic variables. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS By looking at the relationship with macro economic factors, with upward impact of GDP, the price of office properties was increased, and the impact lasted for about 4 quarters. The increase of currencies or stock prices also triggered positive(+) impact on the price of office properties, but the impact was shorter. On the other hand, increase of interest rate resulted in the decreased price of office properties, but sensitivity was not significant. Also, exchange rate showed negative relationship with the price of office properties. 2. RESULTS The results of the study was largely similar to previous researches that mostly focused on relationship between residential properties and economic factors in terms of the direction and duration of the impact. However, there were fairly big differences in the size of the impact by economic factors between using office properties and residential ones; lager impact with residential properties.

Solar, as an ideal renewable energy, has inexhaustible, clean and safe characteristics. However, solar energy is an extreme intermittent and inconstant energy source. In order to improve the photovoltaic system efficiency and utilize the solar energy more fully, and the DC current vary with module temperature, it is necessary to study the characteristics of photovoltaic I-V according to the external factors. This paper presents the analysis of characteristics of photovoltaic I-V according to the module temperature. The results show that it seems that when the module temperature increases, the DC current increases. But actually, because when the irradiation increases, the DC current increases, the result of the relationship between DC current and the module temperature of solar cell will be effects by the increasing irradiation.
해방 이후 한의학의 현대화 논쟁 - 1950년대와 1990년대 이후의 논의를 바탕으로 -

Objectives : The inclusion of Korean Medicine in the national health care system led to the need of a serious discussion on its modernization. This paper looked at how these discussions were progressed. Especially, a difference in the meaning of 'science' in the 1950s and the 1990s was observed. Methods : Articles related to the medical dispute between Korean and Western Medicine in "EE LIM", especially the ones from the 1950s, were selected, classified and analyzed. Research papers on Evidence-Based Medicine were also analyzed. Evidence-Based Medicine was a new medical research methodology in the 1990s. Articles on Evidence-Based Medicine were searched and selected from journal databases: DBpia, KISS, RISS, and OASIS. Results : The problem of establishment of modernity of Korean Medicine in the recent times was addressed in the context of scientification and systematization. Accordingly, the academic societies of Korean Medicine aimed for scientification. But efforts to secure the identity of Korean Medicine opposed to western science were also made. Meanwhile, Evidence-Based Medicine established in 1992 presented a different concept of science. This led to a new means of acknowledgement of Korean Medicine in the modern society. Conclusions : The modernization process of Korean Medicine up to now was a course of scientification. But as this process did not fully reflect its characteristics, the modernization of Korean Medicine still remains a pending question. A modern study methodology that fully reflects the identity of Korean Medicine needs to be established.

N/A Objective Activities of nucleases (acid DNase and neutral RNase) and RNase inhibitor 1mown to be involved in carcinogenesis and suppression of cancer were determined in cancer tissue, serum and ascitic fluid of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma and were compared with those of the controls. Also studied were nucleases and RNase inhibitor isolated from hepatocellular carcinoma tissue and ascitic fluid of the cancer patients to evaluate the properties and interactions between them. Method: Activities of nucleases and RNase inhibitor were measured in cancer tissue, serum and ascitic fluid of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma by ultraviolet spectrophotometry. Nucleases and RNase inhibitor were isolated from hepatocellular carcinoma tissue and ascitic fluid of the cancer patients by DEAE-cellulose column chromatography. As controls, normal tissue of the cancer patients, serum of healthy persons and ascitic fluid of cirrhotic patients were used. Result: Activities of DNase, RNase and RNase inhibitor were significantly increased in hepatocellular carcinoma tissue. DNase activity was not detected, RNase activity was increased and RNase inhibitor activity was unchanged in both serum and ascitic fluid of the hepatocellular carcinoma patients. DNase was isolated as a single enzyme and RNase as seven isozymes from the hepatocellular carcinoma tissue. The DNase isolated preferentially cleaved ds DNA over ss DNA and was endonuclease in nature (majority of hydrolytic products of DNA by the DNase were oligodeoxyribonucleotides). Of seven RNase isozymes isolated from the hepatocellular carcinoma tissue, isozyme I exhibited nonsecretory nature of RNase and other six isozymes secretory nature of the enzyme. Activity of RNase isozyme V was greatly increased and the activity of inhibitor complexed with the isozyme V was also increased. RNase in ascitic fluid of the cancer patient was separated into four isozymes, of which isozyme I exhibited mixed form of secretory and nonseretory nature and greatly increased in its activity. RNase isozyme V isolated in the hepatocellular carcinoma tissue was not detected in the ascitic fluid, Conclusion: The use of the nucleases and the inhibitor in the cancer tissue as biochemical markers for the hepatocellular carcinoma was suggested. RNase was released into the body fluid from the cancer tissue and could be used as a diagnostic marker for the hepatocellular carcinoma. An important rale of the DNase in carcinogenesis of the liver was suggested. RNase isozyme V was limited in the cancer tissue and RNase isozyme I and V and inhibitors associated with these isozymes might be involved in carcinogenesis processes, suppression of cancer and maintenance of tocellular carcinoma through their interactions.

N/A The Authors investigated the serial change of serum lipids in the early period of acute myocardial infarction and its relation to several clinical parameters. The level of serum total cholesterol was lowest in the period of 2 to 5days after an attack of acute myocardial infarction, especially on the fourth day and thereafter increased gradually until 2 to 3weeks of the observation period. On the other hand the serum triglyceride level was lowest in the first 2days, especially the first day, and thereafter increased gradually until 2 to 3weeks of the observation period. The extent of the cholesterol change was very small compared with that of the triglyceride. The level of change in the serum cholesterol was not related to the ejection fraction, the frequency of ventricular arrhythmia, Killip class or fatality rate. On the otherhand the level of change in the serum triglyceride had a significant adverse influence on the ejection fraction, the frequency of ventricular arrhythmia, Killip class and fatality rate, respectively. Thus it seems that the initial change of serum triglyceride is somewhat helpful in foreseeing the outcome of acute myocardial infarction.
