측정점으로부터의 3차원 객체 자동인식은 컴퓨터비전, 지능형로봇 등의 분야에서 주요 연구주제이다. 본 논문에서 저자는 측정오차가 포함되어 있으며 정렬되지 않은 대용량 3차원 측정점으로부터 객체를 자동적으로 추출하며 그 형상계수를 추정하는 소프트웨어 기술에 대한 소개를 하고자 한다. 해당 소프트웨어는 기능적으로 상호 연결된 형상모델 제시, 측정점 분할, 형상모델 맞춤의 세 부분으로 이루어졌으며 최단거리 최소제곱법(ODF)이 핵심요소이다. ODF는 형상모델과 측정점 사이의 최단거리의 제곱합을 최소화하는 형상모델 계수를 추정한다. 무작위로 선정된 부분 측정점에 대한 임시 형상모델로서 이차 곡면이 ODF에 의하여 구하여지면 우리는 이로부터 3차원 객체를 자동적으로 추출하는 과정인 최종 형상모델 제시, 측정점 분할, 형상모델 맞춤에 필요한 초기값을 제공할 수 있다. 소개된 소프트웨어 기술을 실제 3차원 측정점에 적용함으로써 그의 성능을 확인하고자 한다. Automatic object recognition in 3D measuring data is of great interest in many application fields e.g. computer vision, reverse engineering and digital factory. In this paper we present a software tool for a fully automatic object detection and parameter estimation in unordered and noisy point clouds with a large number of data points. The software consists of three interactive modules each for model selection, point segmentation and model fitting, in which the orthogonal distance fitting (ODF) plays an important role. The ODF algorithms estimate model parameters by minimizing the square sum of the shortest distances between model feature and measurement points. The local quadric surface fitted through ODF to a randomly touched small initial patch of the point cloud provides the necessary initial information for the overall procedures of model selection, point segmentation and model fitting. The performance of the presented software tool will be demonstrated by applying to point clouds.

Purpose: To report a case of chondroid syringoma that involved the eyelid margin, was accompanied by cilia loss, and required differential diagnosis with other malignant eyelid masses. Case summary: A 46-year-old woman presented with a recurrent mass in the right lower eyelid margin, which was observed 10 years earlier, where incision and curettage had already been performed twice. The mass was neither tender nor ulcerated, was brighter in color than the neighboring skin, and had a smooth surface with cilia loss. The pathologic findings obtained from an incisional biopsy were compatible with a dermoid cyst. Full-thickness excision of the eyelid mass and direct closure were subsequently performed. The pathologic diagnosis after excisional biopsy was chondroid syringoma because cystic structures in the chondroid stroma were observed. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2011;52(7):859-862

광고에 나타난 트롱프뢰유(trompe-L`oeil)기법을 활용한 바디페인팅 연구

응용 예술의 한 분야인 바디페인팅은 인체에 그림을 그리는 것으로 광고 분야에 새로운 광고 방법을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 초현실주의에 나타난 트롱프뢰유 기법을 응용한 바디페인팅이 상업적 광고에 표현되었을 때 보여 지는 이미지 전달과 광고로서의 효과를 적용하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 바디페인팅에 대한 고찰을 통해 바디페인팅의 다양한 표현기법이 회화적 이미지와 융화됨을 설명하였다. 분석 및 조사 자료에 대한 범위는 바디페인팅의 개념과 역사를 통해 예술의 한 장르로서 다양한 표현기법을 가지고 있음을 문헌과 선행 논문을 중심으로 제시 하였다. 광고의 범위를 영상광고와 지면광고로 분류하고, 각각의 광고 내용은 트롱프뢰유기법이 바디페인팅에 적용된 광고를 기준으로 자료를 조사하였다. 그리고 바디페인팅에 트롱프뢰유 기법을 사용한 광고에서 보여 지는 예술적 특징 및 시각적, 착시적인 부분의 의미 전달에 대하여 유형별로 분류하여 조사하였으며, 분석을 위해 초현실주의에서 사용한 데페이즈망 표현 방법 중 변형, 전환, 합성을 바탕으로 분류하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 초현실주의의 표현 양식에 바디페인팅이 적용한 광고가 지면 및 영상광고 분야에 적용이 되었으며, 데페이즈망 기법에 기준하여 변형, 전환, 합성의 사례를 적용하였고, 영상광고에서 보여 지는 데페이즈망 기법이 사실감 있게 표현되었음을 볼 수 있었다. 이와 같이 초현실주의의 트롱프뢰유 기법이 바디페인팅에 표현되어 광고에 적용됨으로서 광고의 메시지와 이미지를 전달함을 볼 수 있었다. 인류의 역사만큼 이나 긴 역사를 가지고 있는 종교는 어느 시대이든 사회적 배경과 함께 정치, 문화, 사상, 예술, 등 여러 분야에 영향을 주며 사회 안에서 종교적 이념으로 자리 잡아왔다. 조선시대에는 유교사상이 사회 전반에 뿌리내리며, 기존의 불교나 도교, 민간신앙 등은 철저히 배척하였다. 하지만 오랫동안 국민의 정서를 지배했던 불교나 민간신앙은 유교사상이 확립되었어도 궁내에서나 일반 사람들 사이에서 그 명맥을 이어져 왔다. 조선시대에는 사회적으로 여러 분야에 많은 변화가 있었지만, 미용이 유· 불· 도 등 종교의 영향을 받으며 각기 다른 사상 안에서 이념과 함께 형식을 달리하였다. 조선시대에는 신분과 계급에 따라 의복의 형태나 화장 방법에서 차별화를 두었고, 부계중심의 사대주의 정신은 여자들의 지위를 박탈하고 내외법으로 다스려졌다. 검소하고 소박함안에서 유· 불· 도의 사상이 미용에 끼친 영향은 사회적 현상을 넘어 종교적인 이념 안에서 정착되었음을 알 수 있다. The religion, of which its history is as long as the history of human beings, has been positioned firmly in the society as a religious ideology, by influencing various fields of politics, culture, thought, art, etc., along with the social background in any era of the history. In Joseon Dynasty period Confucianism had rooted in the overall society, and so far existed Buddhism, Taoism, folk belief, and so on were totally ostracized. The Buddhism or folk belief, which had been dominating the people``s sentiment for long time, however, was able to keep its existence in the palace as well as among the ordinary people barely, though the Confucianism had been firmly established over the country. While there had been a lot of changes in various fields in Joseon Dynasty, the types of makeup had been varied together with the difference of ideology in each different thought affected by the religions such as Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. The clothing type and makeup method had been differentiated according to the social position and class, in Joseon Dynasty, and the toadyism based on the paternalism had deprived the female rights and governed them with the strict male-female partiality regulation. It indicates that the influence of the thoughts of religion, Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, to the makeup, in the thrift and naivety, had been settled fixedly in the religious ideology beyond the social phenomenon.

최단거리 최소제곱법을 이용한 측정점군으로부터의 곡면 자동탐색

Surface detection and parameter estimation in point cloud is a relevant subject in CAD/CAM, reverse engineering, computer vision, coordinate metrology and digital factory. In this paper we present a software for a fully automatic surface detection and parameter estimation in unordered, incomplete and error-contaminated point cloud with a large number of data points. The software consists of three algorithmic modules each for object identification, point segmentation, and model fitting, which work interactively. Our newly developed algorithms for orthogonal distance fitting (ODF) play a fundamental role in each of the three modules. The ODF algorithms estimate the model parameters by minimizing the square sum of the shortest distances between the model feature and the measurement points. We demonstrate the performance of the software on a variety of point clouds generated by laser radar, computer tomography, and stripe-projection method.

Living conditions of modern people are sensitive to changes in the flow of fashion. Futurist painters had proposed Futurism fashion in the 1920s. After that, in the 1960s, Futurism fashion has appeared in earnest such as Space fashion, Cosmos fashion. Now it’s evolving as a new aesthetic value in fashion field. Also the concern of future fashion is gradually increasing due to the development of science and technology, modern people are having concern about the future for better life. The purpose of this study is to provide a theoretical basis for the expansion of the developed areas for the expansion of the developed areas of fashion and beauty. For that, the study analyzed essential concepts of futurism fashion and aesthetic characteristics then produced futurism total-coordination works focused on Make-up. In conclusion, this study could find out a expression potential of artificial futuristic fashion characteristics by a variety of art make-up techniques and materials. More diverse and constant studies should be attempted in succession.

주거건축의 국내외 무장애 디자인을 위한 가이드라인 비교 연구

As the population of persons with disabilities increases, one of the most important issues we face is enabling such members of our communities to live independently in their own homes. Through comparative analysis of the various regulations and guidelines for accessible housing in five representative countries, with a special focus on adaptability and accessibility issues to and within residences, this study proposes to provide new insight and further suggestions for guidelines in the design of housing for people with disabilities. For this purpose, the laws, regulations and national standards for barrier-free dwellings of five countries - the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, and Korea - were reviewed and compared for commonalities and differences. Based on this KS-based comparative analysis, this study derives and proposes consensus based guidelines and specifications that would provide the basis for future recommendations and suggestions for improving new housing design as well as for remodeling of existing structures to be accessible and convenient for use by persons with disabilities, especially for countries without fully developed and implemented standards such as Korea.
