        전기/하이브리드 자동차에 적용이 가능한 높은 강압비와 효율을 갖는 3kW급의 절연형 DC-DC 컨버터 설계 방법

        본 논문에서는 전기 자동차에 적용 가능한 높은 효율을 갖는 3kW급의 양방향 Inverter, DC-DC Converter를 제안하였다. 제안된 시스템은 입력과 출력을 절연시키기 위한 Full-Bridge Part, 피드백에 의한 전압 조절을 위한 Push-Pull Part, 그리고 Inverter Part로 총 3개의 파트로 구성된다. 고전류 컨버터에서 상당한 손실을 야기하는 인덕터를 저 전류 측으로 옮기고, MOSFET의 개수를 줄임으로써 획기적으로 효율을 증가시켰다. 또한 Full Bridge Part 에서 높은 고정 듀티(Duty)의 Phase Shift 방식을 사용하여 낮은 Turn ON 손실과 낮은 스위치 도통손실을 달성하였다. 추가적으로 기존의 인버터의 스위칭 문제점을 개선하여 적절한 Dead Time을 추가하였으며, 이로 인한 상당한 효율증가를 보여주었다. 제안된 토플로지는 하이브리드(전기)자동차의 전력 변환 시스템이나, 배터리 충·방전 테스트 장비에 효과적으로 적용될 수 있겠다. We proposed 3kW bi-directional inverter and DC-DC converter system with high step down ratio and efficiency in this paper. The proposed system is consisted to 3 parts. The first one is Full-Bridge part to isolate input and output and 2nd part is Push-Pull topology to control the output voltage. The last one is the inverter part to transfer the power from DC to AC. The inductor and MOSFET cause conduction loss especially in high current condition. We moved the inductor to lower current part and decreased the number of MOSFET in high current part to decease power loss. And we decreased power loss by using phase shift switching and add the proper dead time for the inverter part. The proposed system can be used for wide application such as electronic(hybrid) car, BMS and any power transfer system.

        결핵성 농흉의 임상적 특성

        배경 : 결핵성 농흉은 단순 결핵성 흉막염보다 빈도는 낮으나 공동이나 중증 폐결핵과 흔히 동반되고, 배농과 함께 장기적인 치료를 요하는 흉강의 만성적 활동성 감염질환이다. 국내에서도 이러한 결핵성 농흉 환자가 드물지 않게 발생하고 있으나 지금까지 이에 대한 연구가 거의 없었다. 방법 : 1991년 1월부터 2004년 4월까지 경북대 학교병원에서 결핵성 농흉으로 진단된 17예의 환자를 대상으로 후향적 조사를 시행하였다. 결과 : 대상환자 17예 중 12예(17%)에서 폐결핵 치료 과거력(6예) 혹은 현재 치료중인 폐결핵(6예)과 관련이 있었으며, 가장 흔한 증상으로는 객담이 동반된 기침, 발열, 호흡곤란의 순이었다. 중증 폐결핵 병변이 53%, 공동성 병변이 12%, 농기흉이 41%에서 관찰되었다. 흉막액 분석이 가능하였던 8예 모두에서 다형핵백혈구 우세의 삼출액이었으며, 세균성 감염이 47%에서 동반되어 있었다. 객담 항산균 도말검사는 71%, 객담 결핵균 배양검사는 64%에서 양성을 보였으며, 흉막액의 항산균 도말검사는 33%, 흉막액 결핵균 배양검사는 36%에서 양성을 보였다. 추적 관찰된 16예 중에서 외과적 치료를 시행한 3예를 포함한 12예(75%)에서 성공적으로 치료되었고, 2예(12%)는 사망하였다. 결론 : 결핵성 농흉은 농기흉을 동반한 중증의 폐결핵과 흔히 동반되고, 흉막액의 백혈구 감별계산에서 다형핵백혈구 우세를 보이며, 흉막강의 세균성 감염이 흔히 동반되었다. 따라서 심한 폐병변과 동반되어 완전한 농이나 다형백혈구 우세 소견을 보이는 화농성 흉막액 환자에서 결핵성 농흉을 감별진단에 반드시 고려하여 이에 대한 적극적인 조사와 치료가 필요할 것으로 생각된다. Background : In contrast to tuberculous pleurisy, tuberculous empyema is a chronic active infectious disease of the pleural cavity that is frequently accompanied by cavitary or advanced pulmonary lesions. The condition requires long-term anti-tuberculous medication with external drainage. The clinical features and treatment outcome of tuberculous empyema are unclear despite the high prevalence of tuberculosis in Korea. Methods : From January 1991 through April 2004, 17 patients diagnosed with tuberculous empyema in Kyungpook National University Hospital were enrolled in this study. Their medical records and chest radiographs were reviewed. Results : Twelve patients(71%) had a history of tuberculosis and six of the 12 patients were under current anti-tuberculous medication. Productive cough, fever, and dyspnea were the main complaints. There was no predominance between the right and left lungs. Nine patients(53%) had far-advanced pulmonary tuberculosis, two(12%) had a cavitary lesion, and seven(41%) had a pyopneumothorax on the chest radiograph. All eight cases in whom the data of pleural fluid WBC differential count was available showed polymorphonuclear leukocyte predominance. Eight patients(47%) had other bacterial infections as well. The overall rates of a positive sputum AFB smear and culture for M. tuberculosis were 71% and 64%, respectively. The positive AFB smear and culture rates for M. tuberculosis from the pleural fluid were 33% and 36%, respectively. Twelve of the 16 patients(75%) were treated successfully. Three underwent additional surgical intervention. Two patients (12%) died during treatment. Conclusion : Tuberculous empyema is frequently accompanied by advanced pulmonary lesions, and polymorphonuclear leukocytes are predominant in the pleural fluid. Other accompanying bacterial infections in the pleural cavity are also common in tuberculous empyema patients. Therefore, tuberculous empyema should be considered in differential diagnosis of patients with polymorphonuclear leukocyte-predominant pleural effusion. In addition, more active effort will be needed to achieve a bacteriological diagnosis in the pleural fluid. (Tuberc Respir Dis 2006; 60: 516-522)

        친환경 자동차, 발전설비에 적용 가능한 MOSFET 의 RDS(on)특성에 따른 Boost Converter 분석 연구

        The Boost Converter is basic topology for step up DC-DC Converter. The Boost Converter uses switching device such as MOSFET and IGBT. Every switching devices have body resistances because of their own characteristic and structure. the one of body residences is RD which causes a lot of loss in the power conversion system. Additionally, too high RD causes abnormal operation. In this paper, we analysed the characteristic of boost converter with each various RD situation. Finally, we tested the performance and problem of the analyzed system with PSpice. In order to solve this problem we designed multiphase converter. It will be helpful to design higher performance boost converter with stable operation.

        가족 기업이 현대 자본주의 발전에 미치는 영향: 금융 가문 로스차일드를 중심으로

        본 연구는 기업사에서 챈들러의 경영 자본주의에 의해 외면 받았던 가족 기업의 가치와 의미를 현대 자본주의에서 재조명하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법으로 금융 가문 로스차일드를 분석하는 사례연구를 사용하였다. 연구내용은 경영 자본주의의 우세 속에서도 여전히 존재하는 가족 기업이 특정사회와 경제적 환경에서 어떻게 활발한 역할을 할 수 있었는지 로스차일드 가문을 통해 살핀다. 연구결과 은행업은 두 가지 이유로 가족 기업에 바탕을 둔다. 첫째, 은행업의 성공은 역사적으로 인맥에 의지한다. 둘째, 은행업은 법적 통화라는 단일한 동질 상품에 의존하기에 혁신적인 기술의 발전을 필요로 하지 않는다. 본 연구는 하나의 사례를 통해 가족 기업을 일반화하는 한계를 지닌다. 현대 자본주의에서 여전히 건재하는 가족 기업의 더 많은 사례를 수집 분석하여 후속 연구가 수행되어야 한다. This study aims to shed new light on the value and meaning of family firms that have been disregarded by Chandler’s managerial capitalism in the business history, from the perspective of modern capitalism. For this study, a case study analyzing the financial family, Rothschild was conducted. This study aims to examine how family firms that still exist, despite the dominance of managerial capitalism could play an active role in specific societies and economic environments, focusing on the Rothschild family. According to the study, banking is based on family firms for two reasons. First, the success of banking relies on personal connections historically. Second, banking does not require development of innovative technology, because this depends on a legal currency, which is a single, homogeneous product. One limitation of this study is that family firms are generalized, based on one case. For getting over this limitation, further research needs to analyze more cases of family firms that are still thriving in modern capitalism.

        폐암환자의 치료순응도와 관련요인

        Objectives : To investigate the therapeutic compliance and its related factors in lung cancer patients. Methods : The subjects of this study comprised 277 patients first diagnosed with lung cancer at Kyungpook National University Hospital between Jan 1999 and Sept 1999. Of these, 141(50.9%) participated in the study by properly replying to structured questionnaires. The data was analyzed using a simplified Health Decision Model. This model includes categories of variables covering therapeutic compliance, health beliefs, patient preferences, knowledge and experience, social interaction, sociodemographic and clinical characteristics. Results : The therapeutic compliance rate of the 141 study subjects was 78.0%. An analysis of health beliefs and patient preferences revealed health concern (p<0.05), dependency on medicine (p<0.05), perceived susceptibility and severity (p<0.05) as well as preferred treatment (p<0.01) as factors related to therapeutic compliance. Factors from the sociodemographic characteristics and clinical factors that were related to therapeutic compliance were age (p<0.01), monthly income (p<0.05), histological type (p<0.05) and clinical stage (p<0.05) of cancer. Conclusions : In order to improve therapeutic compliance in lung cancer patients it is necessary to educate the aged, low-income patients, or patients who have small cell lung cancer or lune cancer of an advanced stage for which surgery is not indicated. Additionally, it is essential for medical personnel to have a deep concern about patients who have poor lifestyles, a low dependency on medicine, or a high perceived susceptibility and severity. Practically, early diagnosis of lung cancer and thoughtful considerations of low-income patients are important. By means of population-based education in a community, we may promote attention to health and enhance the early diagnosis of lung cancer.

        인간 난관세포와의 체외 공동배양과정에서 혈소판 활성요소가 생쥐배의 발달에 미치는영향

        There are a number of problems during the process of culture in vitro on fertilization and embryo development compared to those on in vivo counterparts. And the platelet activating factor (PAF), which is found not only in mammalian spermatozoa but also preembryos, is implicated on reproductive process. To improve the environment of culture on in vitro fertilization and embryo development, coculture using salpingeal epithelial cells has been considered to accept the better result on pregnancy rate. This study was designed to determine if two different culture systems, coculture alone and PAF treated coculture, are positive or negative influence on process of in vitro fertilization and embryo culture in mouse. The cell cleavage rate reached to 2-4 cell stage at 24 hours of culture is 56.81% (50/88) and 48.21%(54/112) respectively, in PAF treated group which is added PAF on coculture and in coculture group. But the rate of cells cleavage was similar in both group after 48 hours of culture. The rate of unfertilization after insemination of oocytes was higher in coculture group(55..53%) than in PAF treated group(42.37%). And in assessment of undeveped embryos, the rate of equalized cell block was similar on both, coculture alone (35.3%)and PAF treated coculture(35.5%). while unequalized cell block was higher rate in PAF treated coculture(19.4%) than coculture alone (11.8%). But the rate of cytoplasmic degeneration of undeveloped embryos was significantly higher in PAF treated coculture than coculture alone. In conclusion, we have observed that PAF treated coculture is superior in the rates of in vitro fertilization and early embryo cell cleavage compared to those in coculture alone, but there is no difference on the rates of embryo develpments, cell degeneration, cell quality in both PAF treated coculture and coculture alone when the embryo cells were continuosly cultured for 48 hours or more.

        증례 : 소화기 ; 식용 숯으로 인한 말단 회장에 발생한 탄분 침착증

        Anthracosis is a very common disease of the bronchus, while anthracosis of the gastrointestinal tract is extremely rare. Only a few cases of anthracosis of the esophagus have been reported and no cases of anthracosis of the terminal ileum are known, except one patient in Korea who was described as having melanosis ilei. A black pigmented lesion was detected in the terminal ileum on colonoscopic examination of a 51-year-old woman. Histological examination revealed a pigmented lesion beneath the mucosal epithelial layer and lymphoid follicular hyperplasia. The lesion consisted of an aggregation of histiocytes containing abundant tiny black pigments. She has taken oral charcoal for 7 years. We diagnosed anthracosis of the terminal ileum caused by oral charcoal and report a case of charcoal-induced anthracosis of the terminal ileum. (Korean J Med 76:490-493, 2009)
