        신뢰구간을 이용한 비열등성 시험에서 비모수적 검정법

        비열등성 시험이란 시험군이 활성대조군보다 열등하지 않음을 증명하는 임상시험이다. 이러한 비열등성 시험에서 신뢰구간을 이용한 검정 방법에는 Chen 등 (2006)과 Kang (2010)이 제안한 방법이 있다. 본 논문에서는 Wilcoxon 순위합 검정에 기초한 두 모평균 차이의 신뢰구간과 활성대조군의 Hodges-Lehmann 추정량을 이용하여 비모수적 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 몬테카를로 모의실험(Monte-Carlo simulation)을 통하여 기존의 방법과 제안한 방법의 제1종 오류와 검정력을 비교하였다. Non-inferiority trials indicate whether the effect of an experimental treatment is not worse than an active control. Chen et al. (2006) and Kang (2010) proposed a test method for non-inferiority trials using confidence intervals. In this paper, we suggest a new nonparametric method using a confidence interval based on Wilcoxon rank-sum test and Hodges-Lehmann estimator of active control. A Monte-Carlo simulation study compares the type I error and the power of the proposed method with previous methods.

        간호 대학생의 임상실습 관련 피로에 영향을 미치는 요인

        본 연구는 간호 대학생의 임상실습 관련 피로에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 임상실습이 끝난 직후 3학년과 4학년 간호 대학생 중 연구 참여에 동의한 총 129명을 대상으로 하였으며, 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자기기입식 질문지법으로 자료 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 임상실습 스트레스, 불안, 분노, 자기효능감, 수면의 질이 피로와 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 간호 대학생의 임상실습 관련 피로에 영향을 미치는 요인은 수면의 질, 불안, 운동빈도, 임상실습 스트레스 이었으며, 이들 변인은 임상실습 관련 피로 총 변량의 33.6%를 설명하였다. 수면의 질이 임상실습에 가장 중요한 요인이었고, 임상실습 스트레스와 불안이 수면의 질과 관련된 유의한 변수로 나타나 간호 대학생의 임상실습 피로와 관련된 중재를 계획할 때 임상실습 스트레스와 불안을 감소할 수 있는 프로그램 및 규칙적인 운동으로 자신을 관리할 수 있도록 하며, 수면의 질 또한 우선적으로 고려되어져야 한다. The purpose of this study was to identify factors affecting clinical practice-related fatigue among undergraduate nursing students. The data were collected from a questionnaire distributed among 129 juniors and seniors (3rd and 4th year students) in nursing college at the G city, who were at the end of clinical practice. Multiple regression analysis found that the significant major predictors of clinical practice-related fatigue among nursing students were sleep quality (β=.30), anxiety (β=.26), exercise frequency (β=-.21) and clinical practice stress (β=.19). These variable factors could explain 33.6% of clinical practice-related fatigue among nursing students. This study suggests that sleep quality, anxiety, exercise frequency, and clinical practice stress are significant factors of clinical practice-related fatigue among nursing students. Therefore, strategies improving sleep quality and exercise and managing anxiety and stress should be developed to reduce the fatigue for nursing students during clinical exposure.

        The Effects of Written Corrective Feedback on Korean EFL Learners’ Article Accuracy

        One of the most controversial issues in second language (L2) research is whether written corrective feedback (WCF) can benefit L2 learners’ grammatical accuracy in their writing. While exploring various types of WCF, many of previous studies have investigated the rule-governed functions of the indefinite and definite English articles. However, considering that the indefinite articles were shown to be acquired later than the definite articles, there is a need for future research to separate the two functions. Thus, this study explored direct, metalinguistic WCF on both the combined and separated uses of the two English articles. Two groups of Korean learners from an online English composition class participated (N=50) with one group receiving direct, metalinguistic WCF and the other with no such feedback. Both groups completed three picture-based written tasks where their first compositions were used as pretests (after which WCF was provided in the case of the feedback group) and the final ones used as post-tests. The results indicated that although there was no significant effect of direct, metalinguistic WCF, both groups significantly improved in their use of the definite articles over time. Possible explanations are discussed along with limitations of the study and future research directions in this area.

        이창래의 『제스처 인생』에 나타난 전쟁, 섹슈얼리티, 환상

        본 논문의 목적은 이창래의 『제스처 인생』에 나타나는 전쟁 속 섹슈얼리티의 양상을 탐구하고 그것의 의미를 고찰하는 것이다. 먼저, 전쟁과 섹슈얼리티의 관계를 전쟁문학과 전쟁에 대한 연구에 기대어 살펴본다. 다음은, 위안부 역사의 진실을 규명하기 위하여 위안부의 이야기들을 어떠한 방식으로 읽어야 할 것인지 논의한다. 마지막으로, 『제스처 인생』의 위안부 이야기가, 민족주의의 순결 이데올로기를 경계하고 여성에 대한 환상 구조를 폭로하는 방식으로 역사의 진실에 접근한다는 점을 증명한다. 이것은 조선태생 일본군인으로서 가해자이자 피해자인 이중적 정체성을 지닌 화자의 관점으로 서사를 구성하는 역설적인 전략으로 가능하게 된다. 향후 이창래의 본격적인 전쟁소설인 『투항자』에 대한 후속연구를 통하여, 작금의 분단현실에서 전쟁과 인간성에 대한 통찰을 더할 수 있으리라 기대한다. This paper aims to explore the modality of sexuality in war and its significance based on Chang-rae Lee’s A Gesture Life. Firstly, I investigate the relationship between war and sexuality by referring to war literature and studies. Secondly, I discuss how to read comfort women’s stories to unveil the historical truth surrounding their lives. Finally, I demonstrate how the comfort woman’s story portrayed in A Gesture Life approaches the historical truth, revealing the chastity ideology in nationalism and the fantasy structure regarding women. Ironically, this novel presents the narrative from the viewpoint of a Korean-Japanese lieutenant who has a dual identity of a criminal and a victim. I expect that a subsequent study of The Surrendered, Lee’s war novel, will provide further insights into war and humanity in the realm of a divided nation.

        영어 관사 사용에 대한 피드백으로서의 모델글, 시각적 입력강화 및 메타언어적 설명의 효과 연구

        Previous feedback research for accuracy in second language writing has mainly employed direct corrective feedback. However, this type of feedback tailored to individual learners is not practical for a large cyber university writing course. Thus, this study which targets English articles explored the use of models as one common feedback method for all students writings, with textual input enhancement and written metalinguistic explanations on the articles as added components of the feedback. Three groups were formed: one which received models only as feedback, another with models where articles were textually enhanced, and the last with textually enhanced models followed by metalinguistic explanations on the articles. All groups engaged in narrative writing tasks consisting of individual writing (pre-tests), online relay writing, individual revisions, and new individual writing (post-tests). The results showed some significant within-group differences. That is, all groups significantly improved on their revisions with both types of articles, but on the post-tests, the models-only group improved significantly with the definite articles from the pretests, while showing decreased accuracy for the indefinite articles. The other groups improved with both types of articles on the post-tests, but the differences were not significant. Discussions of the findings and future research suggestions are provided.

        자기조절 학습을 통한 초등학교 영어 학습부진학생의 읽기 유창성 발달 및 학습태도의 변화

        This research aims to examine the effects of self-regulated learning on underachieving elementary school students’ early literacy development focusing on reading fluency and self-regulated learning skills. A single subject research was employed with three English underachievers, and they were the fifth and the sixth grades in elementary levels. The duration of the entire study was eight weeks and the study classes were conducted three times a week. Each session was 50 minutes on average. During the intervention period, three students studied seven picture books and learned English vocabulary and read texts. When self-regulated learning was applied, the changes of the students reading fluency and learning attitude were observed for the intervention period. The result indicated that all three students in this study improved their English early literacy abilities including reading fluency. Moreover, students in this study showed positive changes of learning attitude and their use of self-regulated learning strategies at the end of the intervention sessions. Further important pedagogical implications regarding self-regulated learning, reading fluency, and underachieving students in the English classroom were discussed.

        2015 개정 교육과정이 적용된 초등학교 5·6학년 영어교과서 읽기 지문 분석

        The purpose of this study is to explore the readability of reading texts in the elementary school English Textbooks based on 2015 Revised National Curriculum for the 5th and 6th year students. This study compared the readability of the five English textbooks from each grade, and the ten English textbooks were analyzed using Coh-Metrix, a web-based language corpus analysis tool. The Coh-Metrix indices used for the current study are descriptive, lexical features, word information, syntactic complexity and readability scores. This study investigated the continuity of the English textbooks of elementary school 5th and 6th grades by analyzing the readability. The following summary concludes the research findings. First, statistically significant differences were found among English textbooks of each grade in the descriptive counts like the number of words and sentences, lexical diversity and syntactic complexity, whereas, there were no significant differences in word information and standard readability indices. Second, there were statistically significant differences in descriptive counts, syntactic complexity and readability scores between 5th and 6th grade reading texts, but no significant differences existed in lexical diversity and word information. Further important implications and suggestions regarding the elementary English textbooks were discussed.

        패턴이 있는 이야기책이 초등학교 영어 학습부진 학생의 기초 문해력 발달에 미치는 영향

        This study aims to examine the effects of patterned picture books on underachieving elementary school students’ early literacy including vocabulary knowledge and reading abilities. A single subject research across three English underachievers was employed and three students between the fifth and the sixth grades in elementary levels participated in the study. During the intervention period, three students studied seven patterned picture books, read English vocabulary and text. The three students’ improvement of memorizing vocabulary and reading English sentences was evaluated in every session. The entire study took eight weeks, three times a week and each session was around 50 minutes on average. The result indicated that all three students in this study improved their English early literacy abilities including vocabulary knowledge and reading abilities. All three students showed positive achievement in their memorizing and reading English vocabularies and text at the end of the intervention sessions.

        매몰지 조기 안정화를 위한 유용 미생물의 효과에 관한 연구

        In this study, we have evaluated the effect of efficient microorganisms on odor-removal efficiency and early stabilization of the burial sites. We have developed an efficient microorganism designated as 'KEM' which have the ability to degrade organic compounds and remove odor effectively. Other efficient microorganisms already used on site, such as EM and Bacillus sp., were also compared. We preceded these experiment using lab-scale reactors under three conditions (control, only media and only body) and comparing the effect of with or without the application of tree efficient microorganisms separately. Analysis was focused on eight components (ammonia, TMA, $H_2S$, methyl mercaptan, dimethyl sulfide, dimethyl disulfide, $CO_2$ and $CH_4$), and as a result, efficient microorganisms were shown efficiency in the removal of ammonia and methyl mercaptan. The applied KEM decayed up to 71.2% of the buried meat. We were unable to observe significant differences in microbial communities between efficient microorganisms-treated and non-treated reactors due to the large presence of microorganisms in both soil and carcasses. However, it was possible to observe the effect on odor control and decay rate through the application of efficient microorganisms. 본 연구를 통해 유용 미생물을 적용하여 악취 저감 효과 및 조기 안정화에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 유기물 분해능과 악취 제어능이 뛰어난 유용 미생물 KEM을 개발하고, 이미 현장에 사용 중인 EM과 바실러스를 각각 적용하였다. 랩 스케일의 매몰지 모형 반응기를 제작하여 유용 미생물을 각각 적용한 경우와 적용하지 않은 경우(미생물을 적용하지 않고 사체만 매몰한 경우, 배지만 적용한 경우, 사체만 적용한 경우)로 나누어 실험을 진행하였다. 주기적인 수분 공급을 해줌으로써 가축 사체의 분해속도가 빨라진 것을 확인하였고, 유용 미생물을 적용한 반응기의 사체분해속도가 대조군 보다 빠른 것을 확인하였다. 가스는 총 8개의 성분(암모니아, TMA, 황화수소, 메틸머캅탄, DMS, DMDS, $CO_2$, $CH_4$)을 중점적으로 분석하였으며, 그 결과 유용 미생물을 적용하였을 경우 암모니아와 메틸머캅탄에 대하여 악취 저감 효율을 보였다. 연구에 사용되었던 토양 내에 많은 토양 미생물과 가축 사체에도 많은 미생물들이 존재하고 있어, 유용 미생물을 투입하였을 때의 뚜렷한 차이는 볼 수 없었다. 그러나 일정 부분에 한하여 악취 저감 효과와 부패 속도를 증가시키는 효과를 확인 할 수 있었다.
