In order to increase endurance flight efficiency of long endurance electric powered UAV, main wing of UAV should have high aspect ratio and low structural weight. Since a spar which consists of thin and slender structure for weight reduction can cause catastrophic failure during the flight, it is important to develop verification method of structural integrity of the spar with the light weight design. In this paper, process of structural analysis using non-linear finite element method was introduced for the verification of structural integrity of the spar. The static strength test of the spar was conducted to identify structural characteristic under the static load. Then, the experimental result of the spar was compared to the analytical result from the non-linear finite element analysis. It was found that the developed process of structural analysis could predict well the non-linear structural behavior of the spar under ultimate load.
Bag of Words 기반 음향 상황 인지를 위한 주파수-캡스트럴 특징

음향 상황 인지(acoustic context awareness)는 다양하게 발생되는 음원들로부터 어떠한 장소인지 또는 어떠한 사건이 발생하는지를 판단하는 기술로 음향 이벤트 검출 또는 인식 보다 한 단계 더 복잡한 문제이다. 기존의 상황인지 기술은 음향 이벤트 검출 또는 인식 기술에 기반하여 현재 상황을 인지하는 방법을 사용하고 있다. 하지만 이와 같은 접근 방법은 여러 음원이 동시에 발생하거나 유사한 음원이 발생하는 실제 환경에서 정확한 상황 판단이 어렵다. 특히 버스와 지하철은 승객들에 의한 잡음으로 상황을 인지하기 힘들다. 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위해 본 논문에서는 유사한 음향 이벤트가 발생하는 버스와 지하철 상황을 인식할 수 있는 Bag of Words 기반의 상황 인지 알고리즘을 연구하고 코드북 생성을 위한 특징벡터를 제안한다. 제안하는 특징벡터의 효용성은 Support Vector Machine을 이용한 실험을 통해 검증했다. Among acoustic signal analysis tasks, acoustic context awareness is one of the most formidable tasks in terms of complexity since it requires sophisticated understanding of individual acoustic events. In conventional context awareness methods, individual acoustic event detection or recognition is employed to generate a relevant decision on the impending context. However this approach may produce poorly performing decision results in practical situations due to the possibility of events occurring simultaneously or the acoustically similar events that are difficult to distinguish with each other. Particularly, the babble noise acoustic event occurring at a bus or subway environment may create confusion to context awareness task since babbling is similar in any environment. Therefore in this paper, a frequency-cepstral feature vector is proposed to mitigate the confusion problem during the situation awareness task of binary decisions: bus or metro. By employing the Support Vector Machine (SVM) as the classifier, the proposed feature vector scheme is shown to produce better performance than the conventional scheme.

Poly(pentamethylene 2,6-naphthalate) (PPN) with a intrinsic viscosity of 0.69 dl/g was synthesized from dimethyl 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylate and 1,5-pentnandiol via a two-step process of transesterification and polycondensation using a high pressure reactor. Manganese acetate tetrahydrate and tetraisopropyl orthotitanate were used as catalysts for transesterification and polycondensation, respectively. Melt-quenched films of the PPN were prepared and annealed under various conditions, and the thermal properties of the annealed films were characterized by using a DSC and synchrotron WAXS. PPN exhibited a very slow crystallization rate. On DSC thermograms, three melting peaks were observed at around $100{\sim}125^{\circ}C$, depending on the annealing conditions. At least more than 6 hours of annealing was needed for the PPN film to be crystallized when it was annealed at a temperature below its melting point, and 3 hours of annealing when annealed at $100^{\circ}C$ which corresponds to the $T_{ml}$. From the results of DSC and WAXS analysis, it is deduced that the continuous increase in crystallinity of PPN with increasing annealing time comes from the increase in the number of crystallites, not from the increase in the crystallite size.
불균일계 액 - 액 접촉 계면을 통한 ester 의 알카리 가수분해 반응

Ethyl acetate와 n-butyl acetate의 25℃에서 알카리 가수분해 반응을 개량된 Lewis cell에서 행하여 화학반응을 수반한 물질전달 속도를 측정하였다. 측정한 물질전달 속도는 교반조의 교반속도에 무관하였고 이온강도 증가에 따라 감소하였으나 화학반응촉진 계수는 일정하였다. 측정한 화학반응 촉진계수를 경막설로부터 얻은 용질의 확산방정식의 근사해로부터 해석하여 ester의 알카리 가수분해반응의 2차 비가역 반응속도 정수를 얻을 수 있었으며, 그 값은 ethyl aeetate의 경우 0.041 ㎥/kgmol ·s, n-butyl acetate의 경우 0.338㎥/kgmol ·s 이었다. The rates of mass transfer with the alkaline hydrolysis of ethyl acetate and n-butyl acetate were measured by using a modified Lewis call. The rates of mass transfer with chemical reaction were independent of the speed of agitation, and the reaction enhancement factors were independent of the ionic strength. The second order reaction rate constants of ethyl acetate and n-butyl acetate could be obtained from an approximate solution of a diffusion equation by film theory, and their values were 0.041 ㎥/㎏ mol·s and 0.338 ㎥/kgmol·s, respectively.

To drive the sonar sensor, it consists of a power converter that supplies power, a filter to attenuate harmonics of the power converter, and a matching transformer to attenuate the reactive components caused by the magnitude of the voltage and the structural characteristics of the sensor. In general sonar sensors, filters and matching transformers are designed based on one fundamental wave component to attenuate reactive components. However, sonar sensors in the operating frequency range have difficulty in selecting a standard in the design of a system for driving the same, and there is a problem of overdesigning the power converter more than necessary for the overall operation. In this paper, I propose a design standard for broadband sensors to solve these problems, and propose a method of volume reduction, one of the important factors for sensors mounted in a limited space.

태양전지 및 전기동력을 이용한 장기 체공 무인기의 체공 효율을 증가시키기 위해서는 구조 경량화가 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 24시간 장기체공 전기동력 무인항공기인 EAV-2H의 주익 경량화 및 구조 건전성 확보를 위하여 Mylar Film과 섬유강화 복합재료로 구성된 주익을 설계하였다. 보이론 해석을 이용하여 주익 Spar의 형상 선정 및 구조 사이징을 수행하였다. EAV-2H 임무를 고려하여 하중해석을 수행하고 주익의 주요 구성품에 대해 유한요소해석을 수행하였다. 마지막으로 주익의 정적구조시험을 통해 주익의 구조 건전성을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 개발된 EAV-2H 주익은 이전 모델인 EAV-2에 비교하여 Span 기준 42%의 중량이 감소되었으며, 설계극한하중을 부가하는 정적구조시험을 통과하였다. In order to increase endurance flight efficiency of long endurance electric powered UAV with solar cell, the light weight airframe design techniques are important. In this paper, the design of the main wing of electric powered UAV manufactured using Mylar film and fiber reinforced composite was conducted in order to achieve weight reduction and structural integrity of the structure. The shape of spar and size were determined using beam theory analysis. The finite element analysis of the wing was performed under various load condition derived from flight environment of EAV-2H. Finally, the static strength test of the main wing was conducted to verify structural integrity. It was found that the developed main wing weigh less than 42% than the previous EAV-2 and the main wing passed static strength test under ultimate load.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of HT008 on pain relief and functional improvement in participants with mild knee osteoarthritis (OA) in comparison with that of glucosamine sulfate. Methods : This randomized double-blind trial was conducted at Kyung Hee University Medical Center in Seoul where participants with knee pain for more than 6 months and degenerative osteoarthritis were enrolled. The 100 participants were received either HT008 or glucosamine sulfate 750 mg twice daily for 8 weeks and evaluated at baseline, 4 and 8 weeks after the treatment. We primarily evaluated the differences between two groups with respect to changes in the visual analogue score (VAS) for pain, Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) pain score from baseline to week 8. Secondarily the difference between and within two groups with respect to changes in WOMAC stiffness and physical function score, and Lequesne Functional Severity Index (LFI) were also evaluated. Results : At week 8, treatment with HT008 resulted in a significant reduction of the VAS for pain and WOMAC pain scores compared to the glucosamine sulfate (both p=0.003). Patients receiving HT008 experienced statistically significantly greater improvements in WOMAC physical function scores and LFI (p.=.0.014 and p=0.016, respectively) than glucosamine sulfate-treated group. The within-group change in WOMAC physical function and stiffness, and LFI during the 8-week intervention revealed significant improvements in HT008-treated group. Conclusions : HT008 treatment allows significant pain reduction and functional improvement compared with glucosamine sulfate. These data confirm HT008 as an effective and safe symptomatic drug for knee OA.
