        건강한 자원자에서 아스피린과 심바스타틴 병용투여 시, 심바스타틴이 아스피린의 약동학/약력학적 특성에 미치는 영향

        Background: Both aspirin and simvastatin are prescribed as treatments or prevention of cardiovascular diseases. The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of simvastatin on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of aspirin after oral co-administration in healthy subjects. Methods: Subjects were orally administered aspirin 100 mg for 7 days followed by co-administration of aspirin 100 mg and simvastatin 40 mg for 7 days once daily. A series of blood samples were collected before and till 24hours after drug administration on Day 1 (single-dose of aspirin), Day 7 (multiple-dose of aspirin) and Day 14 (multiple-dose of aspirin and simvastatin). The effects of simvastatin on pharmacokinetics of acetylsalicylic acid and salicylic acid were assessed with the 90 % confidence intervals (CI_s) of thegeometric mean ratios (GMR_s) of Day 14 over Day 7 for maximum plasma concentration (C_max) and the area under the concentration-time curve (AUC_0-24). Pharmacodynamics was assessed with maximal changes of platelet aggregation from baseline. Results: Twenty-fourhealthy men aged 20 to 36 years were enrolled and 23 of them completed the study. GMRs (90 % CI_s) of C_max and AUC_0-24 for acetylsalicylic acid were 1.21 (1.04 - 1.42) and 1.28 (1.19 - 1.38), respectively. For salicylic acid, GMR_s of C_max and AUC_0-24 were 0.96 (0.91 - 1.00) and 1.00 (0.97 - 1.04), respectively. Maximal changes of platelet aggregation on Day 7 and Day 14 from baseline were not significantly different (p=0.41); 87.5 ± 8.8 % and 87.3 ± 9.2 %, respectively. Conclusion: Coadministration of simvastatin slightly increased the systemic exposure of acetylsalicylic acid with no changes of systemic exposure of salicylic acid or inhibition of platelet aggregation.

        Survey on the undergraduate curriculum in clinical pharmacology and interns’ prescribing ability in South Korea

        Appropriate prescription writing is one of the critical medical processes affecting the quality ofpublic health care. However, this is a complex task for newly qualified intern doctors because ofits complex characteristics requiring sufficient knowledge of medications and principles of clinicalpharmacology, skills of diagnosis and communication, and critical judgment. This study aimsto gather data on the current status of undergraduate prescribing education in South Korea. Twosurveys were administered in this study: survey A to 26 medical schools in South Korea to gatherinformation on the status of undergraduate education in clinical pharmacology; and survey B to244 intern doctors in large hospitals to gather their opinions regarding prescribing education andability. In survey A, half of the responding institutions provided prescribing education via variousformats of classes over two curriculums including lecture, applied practice, group discussions,computer-utilized training, and workshops. In survey B, we found that intern doctors have the leastconfidence when prescribing drugs for special patient populations, especially pregnant women. These intern doctors believed that a case-based practical training or group discussion class wouldbe an effective approach to supplement their prescribing education concurrently or after the clerkshipin medical schools or right before starting intern training with a core drug list. The results ofthe present study may help instructors in charge of prescribing education when communicatingand cooperating with each other to improve undergraduate prescribing education and the quality ofnational medical care.

        중간 연차 병원 간호사의 동료 간 대인관계 갈등 경험

        연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 현상학적 연구 방법을 이용하여 중간 연차 병원 간호사의 동료 간 대인관계 갈등 경험을 기술하고 심층적으로 이해하는 것이다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 동료 간 대인관계 갈등 경험이 있는 중간 연차 간호사 8명을 대상으로 2021년 5월부터 2022년 2월까지 개별 심층 면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 데이터는 Colaizzi의 현상학적 방법을 사용하여 분석되었다. 연구결과: 역차별로 느껴지는 관계의 불편함, 위아래로 치이는 버거운 신세, 현재를 버티기 위한 자구책 찾기, 체념과 기대가 공존하는 일터를 살아감 등 4가지 범주가 도출되었다. 결론: 본 연구는 중간 연차 병원 간호사의 동료 간 대인관계 갈등에 대한 경험을 심층적으로 파악하였다. 그 결과를 바탕으로 중간 연차 병원 간호사의 동료 간 대인관계 갈등을 관리하고 줄일 수 있도록 적극적인 교육과 정책적 노력을 기울여야 하겠다. Purpose: This study explored and characterized the interpersonal conflict experiences among mid-career nurses working together. Methods: Data were collected from May 2021 to February 2022 through individual in-depth interviews of eight mid-career nurses with conflict experience among nurse colleagues in their work place. The transcribed data were analyzed using Colaizzi's phenomenological method. Results: Four categories were identified: experiencing discomfort in relationships as reverse discrimination; bearing the heavy burden of being pushed up and down; adopting self-rescue measures to cope with the current situation; and navigating a workplace where resignation and expectation coexist. Conclusion: This study provided an in-depth exploration of interpersonal conflict experiences among mid-career nurses’ working together. Thus, shedding light on the need for proactive educational and policy initiatives to effectively manage and mitigate such conflicts among nurse colleagues in this career stage.

        Possibility of pharmacokinetic drug interaction between a DPP-4 inhibitor and a SGLT2 inhibitor

        Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a multifactorial condition characterized by high level of sugar in the blood. To control hyperglycemia, combination therapy is recommended if monotherapy fails to achieve glycemic control. The combination of a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor and a sodium-glucose cotransporter type 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor is a promising option of the combination therapies in terms of safety as well as efficacy. Despite of the value of combination therapy of these two agents, the pharmacokinetic drug interactions between these two classes of agents have been evaluated in a few drugs. Thus, we reviewed the potential pharmacokinetic drug interaction based on the in vitro metabolism- and transportermediated drug interaction information as well as drug interaction studies in human, between a DPP-4 inhibitor and a SGLT2 inhibitor which are marketed in South Korea.

        CF3327 평직 복합재료의 열전도도

        본 연구의 목적은 ㈜한국화이바의 CF3327 평직 복합재료의 열전도도를 실험적으로 계측하고 이를 이론적인 예측과 비교하는데 있다. 열전도도 계측을 위하여 비교계측법의 원리를 이용한 실험 장치를 제작하였으며 열전도도가 잘 알려진 그라파이트를 실험함으로써 장비의 정확성을 확인하였다. 미시역학적인 방법은 섬유 및 기지의 물성, 섬유체적비, 직조 형태 등의 변수들이 복합재료의 유효물성치에 미치는 영향을 평가하는데 유용하다. 본 연구에서는 3차원 직-병렬 열저항 개념을 주기적으로 반복되는 평직의 단위구조에 적용하여 열전도도를 예측하였다. 해석 결과를 실험 결과와 비교한 결과 잘 일치함을 확인하였고 섬유체적비가 에폭시 수지 복합재료의 열전도도에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다. The purpose of this study is to measure and predict the thermal conductivity of CF3327 plain-weave fabric composite made by Hankuk Fiber, Co. An experiment apparatus based on the comparative method has been made to measure the thermal conductivities of the composite material. Its accuracy was proved by measuring the thermal conductivity of graphite which is well-known. Micro-mechanical approaches are useful to assess the effect of parameters such as fiber and matrix material properties, fiber volume fraction and fabric geometric parameters on the effective material properties of composites. In this study, prediction was based on the concept of three dimensional series-parallel thermal resistance network. Thermal resistance network was applied to unit cell model that characterized the periodically repeated pattern of a plain weave. The numerical results were compared with experimental one and good agreement was observed. Also, the effects of fiber volume fraction on the thermal conductivity of several composites has been investigated.

      • 압전-복합재료 발전 소자의 설계 및 특성

        Energy can be reclaimed and stored for later use to recharge a battery or power a device through a process called energy harvesting. Piezoelectric is being widely investigated for use in harvesting energy from motion such as body movement and machine vibration. This paper presents a simple analytical model to describe output voltage effectiveness of a Piezo-Composite Generating Element (PCGE) from vibration and its experimental verification. PCGE is composed of layers of carbon/epoxy, PZT ceramic and glass/epoxy. During the manufacturing process, the stacked layers were cured at an elevated temperature of 177℃ in an autoclave, which made the PCGE pre-stressed due to a mismatch in the coefficients of thermal expansion between the constituent layers. For the experiments, three kinds of lay-up configurations of PCGE were utilized to verify the model and to approve its ability to convert oscillatory mechanical energy into electrical energy. The predicted performances are much in agreement with experimental ones.

      • 초기 응력을 가진 압전 복합재료 작동기의 개발과 응용

        This presentation is focused on the introduction of a pre-stressed piezoelectric actuator, LIPCA (LIghtweight Piezo-Composite Actuator), which has been developed in 1999. The UPCA consists of a PZT ceramic wafer, carbon fiber composite layers with high modulus and near-zero CTE(coefficient of thermal expansion), and glass/epoxy layers with low modulus and high CTE. The main point of this design is to replace the heavy metal layers of THUNDER by lightweight fiber reinforced plastic layers without losing capabilities to generate high force and large displacement. It is possible to save weight up to about 30% if we replace the metallic backing material by the light fiber composite layer. We can also have design flexibility by selecting the fiber direction and the size of prepreg layers. In addition to the lightweight advantage and design flexibility, the proposed device can be manufactured without adhesive layers when we use epoxy resin prepreg system. Glass/epoxy prepregs, a ceramic wafer with electrode surfaces, and a graphite/epoxy prepreg were simply stacked and cured at an elevated temperature (177 ℃) after following an autoclave bagging process. The LIPCA has shown better actuation performance and the main 'reason for the good actuation displacement performance of the LIPCA is a compressive stress state occurs in the PZT layer due to a mismatch in the coefficient of thermal expansion during the curing process. In this presentation, the applications of the LIPCA to several engineering problems will be explained.
