        Morie Topography를 이용한 피부 탄력 평가와 Cutometer 결과와의 상관성 연구

        나이가 들어감에 따라 피부에 주름이 생기고 건조해지며 탄력이 감소하게 된다. 피부 탄력은 주름과 같은 다른 변화항목처럼 노화에 따른 변화를 극명하게 눈으로 확인하기 힘들어 평가 방법에 타당성을 부여하는 과정이 더욱 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 연령과 기기측정 결과인 Cutometer parameters 값 간의 상관관계를 확인하였으며, 각각의 parameters가 노화에 의한 피부 탄력 감소를 반영해준다는 사실을 확인하였다(Ur/Uf, Ur/Uf, Ur/Ue, Ua, r=0.687~0.725). 또한 눈으로 보여지는 변화와 직접 피부를 만져보았을 때 느껴지는 변화를 정량평가하기 위한 평가법을 개발하였다. 50명의 건강한 여성을 대상으로 얼굴 부위에서 Moire 사진을 획득하였으며 이중 피부 탄력을 설명해줄 수 있는 다섯 단계의 Moire topographic photo scale을 선정하였다. 그 다음 동일한 조건으로 20~61세의 여성을 대상으로 Moire 사진을 촬영하고, 제시된 scale을 기준으로 피부 탄력정도를 평가하였다. 본 연구결과, Cutometer를 이용한 기기평가(r=-0.687~-0.725)와 Moire topography score (r=-938)에 의한 결과는 연령과 매우 높은 음의 상관관계를 가짐을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 Cutometer 값과 Moire topography 점수간의 상관성도 비교 두 평가법 간의 상관관계가 높음을 알 수 있었다(r=0.711). 따라서 안면부 Moire topography를 이용한 평가는 기기측정으로 확인할 수 있었던 피부 탄력 변화를 시각적으로 나타내어 줄 수 있었다. As aging occurs, ow skin gets more wrinkles, becomes drier and loses its elasticity. Validating the evaluation of skin elasticity is especially important, because it is not as visible as other signs of aging such as wrinkles. Here, we identified the correlation between age and the Parameters given by Cutometer, and (we present) the parameters of that reflect the decreases in skin elasticity along with ages (Ur/Uf, Ua/Uf, Ur/Ue, Ua, r=0.687~0.725). Also we developed an evaluation method to quantify the difference of skin by viewing or touching. A five-grade standard of Moire topographic photo scale on face was prepared using sensory evaluation of 20 to 61 year - old women. Based on this photo standard, scoring was performed using (a) 5-grade system by three specialists to obtain the consensus score. Significant negative correlations between age and results of Cutometer (r=-0.687~-0.725), Moire topography scores (r=-938) were found. Finally we have shown the significance of the correlation between the result of Cutometer and the score of Moire topography (r=0.711). Our studies using Moire topography on face have confirmed that instrumental measurements reflect the decrease in shin elasticity, which is perceived visually.

        근골격계 질환에 대한 경근무늬측정검사(모아레)의 한의약적 임상응용 고찰

        Objectives : This study aims to classify and analyze literature related to moire topography, as a diagnostic device of Korean medicine, discuss research trends and major results, and demonstrate the value of moire topography. Methods : To investigate moire topography research trends, Korean keywords that signify 'moire' were searched in a Korean journal search engine. Initially, 2,988 papers were found in the research, and, after classifying them and removing those that are duplicate in other databases, only 37 papers were applicable for the literature review in this study. To analyze research trends, the 37 papers were analyzed based on the publication year, research field, journal, and research type, and, clinical articles were classified based on the diagnosis purpose, subject characteristics, diagnosis method, test method, and test result, for analysis. Results : Moire topography research in South Korea was first conducted in 1995 and most active in 2003, mostly in the field of Korean medicine. In the journal analysis, The Journal of Korea CHUNA Manual Medicine for Spine & Nerves published the highest number of papers, most of which were clinical articles and the rest were literature review. And, in the analysis of clinical papers, based on the diagnosis purpose, muscle somatotype measurement was most common, followed by diagnosis of scoliosis. In terms of subjects, most studies focused on elementary, middle, and high school students, and, in terms of the diagnosis method, other tests were used in most studies. The analysis of moire topography methods showed that most studies measured the shoulder, back, and hip, and the most common measurement method in the studies measured the difference in contour lines on the left and right by designating a central line of the body. In terms of the result, most moire topography brought about significant diagnosis results, and many studies demonstrated its use for musculoskeletal diseases in particular. Conclusions : Moire topography is believed to be highly significant for diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal diseases and further research will be needed to support it.

      • Digital moire 형상측정 시스템의 보정에 관한 연구

        Moire topography method isa well-known non-contacting 3-D measurement method as a fast non-contact test for three-dimension shape measuring method. Recently, it's important to study the automatic three-dimension measurement by moire topography because it is frequently applied to the reverse engineering , the medical, the entertainment fields. Three-dimension measurement using projection of moire topography is very attractive because of its high measuring speed and high sensitivity. In this paper, the classical moire method is computerized-so called digital moire. when a virtual grating pattern is projected on a surface, the captured image by the CCD camera has three-dimension information of the objects. The moire image can be obtained through a simple image processing and a reference grating pattern. and it provides similar results without physical grating pattern. digital projection moire topography turns out to be very effective for the three-dimension measurement of objects. Using different N-bucket algorithm method of digital projection moire topography is tested to measuring object with the 2-ambiguity problem. Experimental results prove that the proposed scheme is capable of finding measurement errors that decreased more by using the four-three step algorithm method instead of the same step in the phase shifting of different pitch.

      • 척추측만증 검진을 위한 모아레 체형측정법과 설문조사의 상관성 연구

        Objectives : The purpose of this study is researching for correlation between Moire topography results and questionnaire which include obesity rate, height, weight, posture, pain aspect (low back pain, headache, fatigue, neck pain etc), studying posture, school attendance method, menarche. Methods : The authors practiced Moire topography and questionnaire for primary & middle school 24,419 students [male 12,843, female 11,576] in Jeonbuk, korea in 2002. After we distinguished students who had abnormal finding in Moire topography and statistically analysed the data. Results : According to this research, the abnormal finding in Moire topography results was 37.3% (9,105 students), and students needed X-ray re-examination were 3.9% (953 students). According to statistical analysis, male/female and primary/middle school students have no difference in deformity degree of the body surface examined by Moire. Height and weight have low correlation with deformity degree of the body surface examined by Moire and menarche, pain aspect have no correlation. But, school attendance method by bicycle and $90^{\circ}$upright sitting in study posture is the best way to decrease the deformity degree of the body surface examined by Moire. Conclusions : Following this research, throughout Moire topography could detect trunk asymmetry that couldn't be found existing X-ray examination, and school attendance by bicycle and $90^{\circ}$upright sitting in study posture is good for school students to prevent back deformity.

        Moire topography, a simple technique for three-dimensional quantitation, was used to provide interference fringe photographs of the human back with sufficient accuracy to be used for detecting patient with asymmetry due to scoliosis, the disease of cervix and lumbar, muscle dysfunction. Contour lines are a suitable and widely accepted method of describing a three-dimensional surface. In the moire technique, contour lines of an object are produced as interference fringes while the object is illuminated by a spotlight through a special grating. The fringe pattern is produced by the interference of the grating and its shadow on the object. A photograph of a moire pattern on the human back will permit an assessment of the overall body shape and the symmetry of the back. This study uses shadow moire topography. Moire topography provides a non-invasive technique for quantifying the shape of the human body. In the use of moire topography for the Oriental Medicine Diagnosis, the strength of moire lies in the ablility to detect change due to deformity of human body.

        하지길이 차이와 모아레 체형측정과의 상관성 연구

        Objectives: This study was designed to find the relationship between Moire topography and leg length inequality. Methods : The authors practiced Moire topography by using IBS-2000 and measured leg length inequality for Se-Myung university 108 students in Chechun, Korea in 2006. Then we measured difference of shoulder joint height, interval between vertical base line of pelvis and vertical base line of neck, and difference of contour lines through the Moire topography. After we statistically analyzed the relationship between Moire topography`s data and leg length inequality. Results : 1. The students that leg length inequality is 0-0.5(0.LLI<0.5)cm have 0.89±0.60cm of the difference of shoulder joint height, 0.56±0.38cm of the interval between vertical base line of pelvis and vertical base line of neck, and 1.28±0.70cm of the difference of contour lines. 2. According to this research, there were significant increase between the students that leg length inequality is 0-0.5(0.LLI<0.5)cm and the students that leg length inequality is 0.5-1.0(0.5.LLI<1.0)cm in difference of contour lines and interval between vertical base line of pelvis and vertical base line of neck. 3. We can guess 0.5-2.5(0.LLI<2.5)cm of leg length inequality that the person who has more than 1.19cm of the difference of shoulder joint height, more than 1.12cm of the interval between vertical base line of pelvis and vertical base line of neck, and more than one of the difference of contour lines. Conclusions : According to this results Moire topography is useful to guess the leg length inequality

        3-D Reconstruction of Human Face Using the Derivative Moiré Topography

        A new 3-D reconstruction algorithm for the human face is proposed using the derivative Moiré topography which ensures fast and robust reconstruction even for rough surfaces. The Moiré interference fringe pattern is initially obtained through the projection Moiré topography based on phase shifting, and then differentiated to provide a full unwrapped phase map for a human face. 2π ambiguity, which has been a chronically unsolved problem with Moiré topography, is successfully surmounted by differentiating the Moiré fringe patterns both in x- and y-directions when the object is located in the x-y plane. A real human face is used for verifying the proposed derivative Moiré topography. A human face of 4 different phase-shifted images taken in the fixed plane is almost fully reconstructed in 3-D format in 0.1 mm lateral resolution.

      • 모아레 체형측정법이 청소년기 척추측만증의 조기집단검진 활용 가능성에 대한 평가

        Objectives : The purpose of this study is researching for possibility that Moire topography be applied in group school screening for scoliosis known school health problem, and find acceptable method of early detection and early treatment for scoliosis Methods : The authors practiced Moire topography for primary & middle school 1,895 students[male 976, female 919] in Jeonju, korea in 2001. After we distinguished students who had abnormal finding in Moire topography and then re-examined spinal X-ray analysis. The data was analysed and evaluated statistically Results : According to this research, the abnormal finding in Moire topography was 53.7% (1,018 students), and students needed X-ray re-examination were 11.2% (213 students). Students diagnosed scoliosis by X-ray re-examination were 1.8%. According to statistical analysis, interval between vertical base line of pelvis and vertical base line of neck, gap between left distance and right distance to the vertical base line of pelvis and difference of contour lines have strong correlations with deformity degree of the body surface examined by Moire. Conclusions : Following this research, throughout early detection for scoliosis by Moire topography could reduce exposure from scoliosis radiographs, and could detect trunk asymmetry that couldn't be found existing X-ray examination, so it made selecting students under observation who have bad posture possible.

      • 추나요법을 시행한 요통환자의 호전도와 Moire 영상 개선도와의 상관관계

        The present study retrospectively investigated clinical outcome at patients with low back pain or sciatica during Chuna treatment (flexion-distraction technique). The study population consisted of 29 patients. Discogenic group consisted of 21 patients who were already diagnosed as HNP of lumbar spine with serial MRIs(magnetic resonance imaging) or CTs(computerized tomography). Simple LBP group consisted of 8 patients with low back pain & sciatica who were non-specific disorder on radiologic examination. All patients were treated with flexion-distraction technique, one of Chuna technique, under analysis of Moire Topography. And the evaluation of clinical outcome was done twice during this study by Moire Topography Analytic Point and Low Back Pain Assesment, Visual Analogue Scale. The results were summarized as follows; Total improvement rate of Moire Topography was $25.8{\pm}17.8%$, and the rate of Low Back Pain Assesment was $56.5{\pm}23.0%$, Visual Analogue Scale of post-treatment was $32.6{\pm}22.5$ Between Improvement rate of Moire Topography and improvement rate of Low Back Pain Assesment, significant correlation was proved(Person's coefficient was 0.381, p<0.05). After all, it is certain improvement of Moire Topography represents symptom's improvement.

        자연과학편 : 기공체조와 신체교정요법이 척추측만증 여고생들의 Cobb`s angle과 Moire 영상에 미치는 효과 분석

        본 연구의 연구대상은 16~19세 사이 척추측만증 환자 16명을 대상으로 하였으며, 척추측만증 환자는 기공요법과 수기요법으로 각각 8명씩 나누어 시술하였다. 척추측만증 환자들이 8주간의 기공요법과 수기요법으로 Cobb's- angle, Moire Topography에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 측정한 결과를 비교, 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 기공체조와 수기요법이 측만각에 미치는 효과: Cobb's-angle의 변화는 기공요법, 수기요법에서 시기, 시기와 그룹간 상호작용에서 유의한 감소를 나타냈다(P<.001). 기공체조와 수기요법이 근육등고선에 미치는 효과: Moire Topography의 변화에서는 좌·우 신체균형의 비교로서, 우측면에서 등고선의 개수는 유의한 차이가 나타났으며(P<.05), SMC(left), HMC(left)를 제외한 전부 그룹간에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다(P<.05). 전체적으로 8주간의 시술 후 좌·우가 서로 평형을 이루는 것으로 나타났다. 척추측만증 치료는 성장기 청소년시기에 조기 발견하여, 척추 주변 근력을 향상시키는 기공체조나 스트레칭과 같은 트레이닝을 꾸준히 하면 척추측만 학생들의 측만 각도가 정상적으로 유지될 것으로 생각된다. A total of including 16 scoliosis patients aged between 16 and 19 and 15 normal students, made up the study population. Qigong therapy was performed on 8 scoliosis patients and manual manipulation therapy on the remaining 8 patients. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of Qi-gong therapy and manual manipulation therapy, which are not surgical procedures, performed on scoliosis patients in Y girls’ high school for 8 weeks. The patients were treated with Qi-gong therapy and manual manipulation therapy for 8 weeks and the effects on Cobb’s angle, Moire topography have been evaluated. The results of the analysis have shown the following: Significant differences period, period*group, and group in the change of Cobb's angle among three group(P<0.5). No significant in the change of SMC(left), HMC(left) in Moire Topography but, Significant differences in the change of another factor among three group(P<0.5). Therefore, early detection of scoliosis during adolescence and steady Qigong gymnastic exercise or stretching, which improves muscles around the spine, may keep Cobb’s angle of students normal.
