        The objective of the study is to present architectural design strategies to maximize the utilization natural ventilation in apartment houses as a means of providing human comfort and energy conservation. For this purpose, the behavior of airflow and distributions of air flow velocities are verified in the apartment unit plans. Furthermore the case study was conducted on demonstrate how to apply the proposed natural ventilation design strategies in the real design process.

      • 韓國産 蓼(여뀌)科 植物에 관한 本草學的 硏究 (I)

        For the purpose of developing Korean Herbalogy with the plants of Polygonaceae which grow wild and is planted in Korea, the these and writings on herbalogy, from literature of successive generations, have been thoroughly investigative and the results obtained were as follows: 1. There were totaled to 16 genera and 156 species in Korea and among them medicinal plants are 12 genera, 47 species, some 30% in total, but the number of species may be added because of the similiar plants. 2. According to the oriental names which can be used for medical purpose, the medicinal plants belonging to the Polygonaceae family were classified as Herba 21, Radix 12, Foilum 8, Lignum 5, Flos 4, Fructus 5, Ramulus 2 and Semen 1. Thus it was noticed that Herba was the main kind. 3. According to sum of 156 species in Polygonaceae family, they were classified into Persicaria genera 63, Polygonum genera 23, Rumex genera 22, Bistorta genera 14, Aconogonum genera 6, Fagopyrum genera 5, Bilderdykia genera 4, Amblygonum genera 3, Reynoutria genera 3, Rheum genera 3, Pleuropterus genera 2, Pleuropteropyrum genera 2, Tovara genera 2, Ampelygonum genera 1, Homalocladium genera 1 and Oxyria genera 1. Thus it was noticed that Persicaria genera was the main kind, some 40.3% in total. 4. According to nature and flavour of medicinal plants, they were classified into cold, cool; 23 each, warmth, heat; 11 each, balance 11 and unidentified 5. Thus it was noticed that cold, cool is the main in nature and flavour of medicinal plants. From this result, it was revealed that the plants for medical purpose in Polygonaceae was 30% of the whole, in which HERBA was mostly abundunt and toxic plants was slightly poisonous that it will be used for clinical treatments more easily. It is considered that many experiements and clinical approaches must be continued to use Polygonaceae plants widely.

        근골격계 질환에 대한 경근무늬측정검사(모아레)의 한의약적 임상응용 고찰

        Objectives : This study aims to classify and analyze literature related to moire topography, as a diagnostic device of Korean medicine, discuss research trends and major results, and demonstrate the value of moire topography. Methods : To investigate moire topography research trends, Korean keywords that signify 'moire' were searched in a Korean journal search engine. Initially, 2,988 papers were found in the research, and, after classifying them and removing those that are duplicate in other databases, only 37 papers were applicable for the literature review in this study. To analyze research trends, the 37 papers were analyzed based on the publication year, research field, journal, and research type, and, clinical articles were classified based on the diagnosis purpose, subject characteristics, diagnosis method, test method, and test result, for analysis. Results : Moire topography research in South Korea was first conducted in 1995 and most active in 2003, mostly in the field of Korean medicine. In the journal analysis, The Journal of Korea CHUNA Manual Medicine for Spine & Nerves published the highest number of papers, most of which were clinical articles and the rest were literature review. And, in the analysis of clinical papers, based on the diagnosis purpose, muscle somatotype measurement was most common, followed by diagnosis of scoliosis. In terms of subjects, most studies focused on elementary, middle, and high school students, and, in terms of the diagnosis method, other tests were used in most studies. The analysis of moire topography methods showed that most studies measured the shoulder, back, and hip, and the most common measurement method in the studies measured the difference in contour lines on the left and right by designating a central line of the body. In terms of the result, most moire topography brought about significant diagnosis results, and many studies demonstrated its use for musculoskeletal diseases in particular. Conclusions : Moire topography is believed to be highly significant for diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal diseases and further research will be needed to support it.

According to nature and flavour of medicinal plants, they were classified into cold, cool; 23 each, warmth, heat; 11 each, balance 11 and unidentified 5. Thus it was noticed that cold, cool is the main in nature and flavour of medicinal plants. 2. According to the Properties and Principal curative action, they were classified into drugs for clearing up heat and toxin 18, drugs for regulating the fellow of Gi to alleviate pain 14, drugs for removing heat from the blood to stop bleeding 13, drugs for expelling wind and removing dempness 11, drugs for parasiticide 11, drugs for promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis 10, drugs for strengthening the spleen and stomach 10, drugs for inducing diuresis to alleviate edema 9, drugs for improving acuity of vision 5 and drugs for tonifying and nourishing 4. Thus it was noticed that durgs for clearing up heat and toxin was the main kind. 3. Comparing to whole medicinal plants 47 kinds, toxic durgs include minor toxin were 12 kinds, 25% of the whole. Thus toxic durgs were slightly poisonous. From this result, it was revealed that the plants for medical purpose in Polygonaceae was 30% of the whole, in which drugs for clearong up heat and toxin was mostly abundunt and toxic plants was slightly poisonous. It is considered that many experiements and clinical approaches must be continued widely about slightly poisonous drugs.

        L1210 및 $P388D_1$ 세포에 대한 고삼 에틸 아세테이트 추출물의 세포독성에 관한 연구 (III)

        This study was carried out to evaluate cytotoxic effects of the roots of Sophora flavescens Ait. extracts on murine leukemia tumor cells lines $(P388D_1\;and\;L1210)$. Disruptions in cell organelles were determined by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay. The comparison of $IC_{50}$ values of the ethyl acetate of Sophora flavescens Ait. extract in leukemia cell lines showed that their susceptibility to these extracts decreased in the following order : Adriamycin>Fr.4>Fr.5>Fr.3>Fr.1>Fr.2 by the MTT assay. These results suggest that the fraction 4 of the ethyl acetate soluble extract of Sophora flavescens Ait. may be a valuable choice for the studies on the treatment of murine leukemia cell lines.

      • 고차항표면 특이치 분포방법을 이용한 에어포일주위의 포텐셜 유동의 해석

        The potential flow along the aerofoil was solved using the surface singularity distribution method. Among the surface singularity method, the surface source distributioj method calculates the potential flow around the aerofoil approximated polygon. For the case of the thin and strongly cambered aerofoils, especially near trailing edge, this method shows inaccuracy along the flat plate elements with piecewise constant source density and constant vorticity distribution. To improve the accuracy, we used higher order method which consists of curved elements with piecewise parabolic source density. But the finite vorticity near trailing edge caused un smooth Gp value near. T.E. To improve the inaccuracy and make Cp value smooth near T.E., the parabolic vorticity distribution along the chord was used. We applied this method to symmetric and asymmetric aerofoils and obtainded satisfactory results.

        도시 외부공간 중 건물들의 시각적 물리량, 복잡도, 선호도 분석에 관한 연구

        Purpose of this study is to prove the relationship among the amount of surface area, the visual complex and the visual preference of Buildings in the urban space using computer simulation. It has the same results as the previous studies. In the urban Environment, especially about buildings, basic data which make possible to apply computer simulation at environment analysis will be supplied. In order to investigate the relationship between the amount of surface area and the visual complex, the visual complex and the visual preference, graphic simulation has been proceeded. Graphic factors of simulation photos are determined on the point of shape and colors(about buildings, land, and sky) The result of the relationship of the visual complex and the visual preference, and the amount of surface area and the visual preference are found to be inverse U-shape, and the result of the relationship of the amount of surface area and the visual complex is proved by the result of regression. So the same result has been obtained in computer simulation.

      • BAR Type GSM Phone용 3중 밴드 Monopole 안테나 설계

        본 논문에서는 변형된 Monopole 안테나에 의한 GSM 900, 1800, 1900 3중 대역 BAR TYPE 형 휴대폰 내장형 안테나를 설계 및 제작 하였다. 본 논문은 실제 상용화된 휴대 단말기의 내장형 안테나를 Monopole 타입으로 설계하여 현재 상용 중인 안테나에 부합하는 특징을 가지도록 하였다. 설계된 안테나를 제작 측정 한 결과 기존의 안테나 보다 약 5.51% 1.39dB 특성이 개선되었다.
