        『2030서울도시기본계획』의 경관 및 미관계획을 위한 서울시 환경색채 전략

        The Purpose of A this study is to explore the reasonable strategy to practice the『2030 Seoul Plan』based on the environmental color established in 2008,「Design Seoul」. This paper proceeds as literature research methods and case study method. I was reviewing the status of「Seoul color」that take advantage of the current field of urban design for the realization of the『2030 Seoul Plan』. I also analyzed the current status of key issues and regional planning of the environmental color in the『2030 Seoul Plan』. Scenery color and environmental color are different. Scenery color is a stationary color does not move on the basis of the human vision. However, environmental color is ‘Time-Space’ ‘Human Behavior’, and ‘figure color-ground color’ includes the concept. Therefore, environmental color is the color of the constantly moving flow. Results of the study was to be items such as urban scale, reflectance and transmittance, texture and gloss, cool color and warm color, caring for Color vision defectives added to the「Seoul color」. In addition, the environmental color strategy for the townscape and fine view shall apply for the Natural Landscape, Historic Cultural Landscape, Streetscape and Urban Streetscape in the『2030 Seoul Plan』. This paper is based on the environmental color strategy Seoul is supposed to realize the『2030 Seoul Plan』.

        A Study on Environment Policy and Convergence Color Image

        The background and purpose of this study are as follows; It can be said that environment issues of each time is closely related with not only individual recognition but also a country’s national policy. Environmental issues related to human survival, in particular, are wide reaching and call for policy as they are related with future as well as current generation. Among the diverse variables for national policy realization, this study seeks to investigate the most important factor of convergence color image. This paper includes literature review on environmental policy and color image analysis on environmental policy. The study surveyed the common aspects of gender, age, job, field of major to look at each of their dependent variables - experience, necessity, type, and necessary improvements – while reducing the aspects to look at. The investigator selected 10 subjects among the students majoring art and design, who had received color education. They were surveyed for 7 days in June 2017. The survey employed the color names in color atlas converted into RGB, the second draft proposal CMYK of Korean traditional standard colors and Munsell System, the Korean educational standard color system. Selective investigation was implemented from green to black green in turquoise. The survey consisted of 15 questions with variables including subjects’ gender, age, academic background and occupation. Analysis was implemented using SPSS 12.0. Individual opinion on environmental movement, level of personal understanding and individual implementation were measured using a 5-point Likert scale. The analysis method is cross analysis using the nominal variables obtained from the survey. To test their inter-group comparison, Kruskal wallis test was performed. The significance level of independence test was 0.05. Analysis results are as follows; First, with respect to gender recognition in environmental policy, it was found that the awareness on environmental issue and comprehensive issues was established but awareness on environmental policy details was low. Second, in regard to environmental policy promotion and implementation, the Internet and TV were found effective media. The level of individual understanding was low in general. The implementation of art policy was found higher in female than males. Third, the awareness on occupation and environmental policy was found higher in high-school graduates and college graduates who enjoy easy access to Internet media. Forth, concerning the image color related to environmental policy, yellow-green colors were preferred in the Munsell System; and yellow-green and pale blue colors in the traditional green colors. Fifth, the image colors related to the present South Korean environment situation was grey with low brightness on the grey brightness axis. Individual opinion on environmental movement was distributed towards higher brightness. Based on the findings, the awareness on national environmental policy is negative and individual opinion on environmental movement is positive. Thus, study on the convergence of environmental policy and color will need to be continued for broader color image use in national environmental policy implementation.

        대학의 외부환경색채디자인개발에 관한 연구

        This study aims to facilitate and to promote variety of activities in a university and academic support by applying external environment color plan to educational environment in universities as a method of education integration through case survey and analysis on educational space and environmental color in accordance with integration of the disabled and non-disabled.Many changes have been made in university educational environment for the disabled and space arrangement designed universally for integrated educational education environment is being done or planned. If we could not compose their environment and support their demands, however, universities would not provide appropriate help to the disabled. Accordingly, this study examines the possibility of approaching colors with regard to universal design aspect through the external environment color plan by Korea Rehabilitation Well-Being University. First, we analyzed the current external environment color by using color analysis program. As a result, it has been concluded that external colors in the existing universities are making heavy and dry appearance with the use of monotonous color of low chroma. To solve this kind of problem, we surveyed improvement direction and orientation image through the interviews with school’s administrators, professors and students for setting the direction to which external environment color plan goes.We suggested external environment color plan, taking advantage of characteristics of space for both the disabled and non-disabled to perform more active school activities based on survey analysis results. And, we would suggest cases of external environment color plans which have been driven as the basic data for improvement of educational environment.

        미술치료 공간의 색채(빛)환경에 따른 대학생의 감성변화와 누리에 채색간의 상호관계

        This study was conducted in order to understand the effects of color(light) environment of art therapy space on Nurie coloring and emotional change, as a first step for understanding the impact of color(light) environment of art therapy space on client's emotion. The color(light) environment of art therapy space was changed by using LED lightings which have different correlated color temperatures(CCT) of 7500K or 2900K. Emotional assessment and Nurie coloring were conducted for 50 number of university students by using emotional evaluation questionnaire proposed by Soon-Duk Jee(2007) and Aura Nurie by Suenaga Tamio, respectively, and the results were analyzed using a SPSS19.0. The results showed that the color(light) environment having CCT of 2900K caused emotions such as 'sentiment', 'relaxing', 'dignity', 'warm', and 'soft'. Meanwhile, the color(light) environment having CCT of 6500K caused emotions such as 'dynamic', 'clear', 'refreshing', 'vivid', and 'cool'. Futhermore, main colors of Nurie coloring, conducted under the different color(light) environment having CCT of 6500K, were analyzed as warm colors which are related to 'psychology with extroverted tendency' in color chart of 'Heart & Color'. However, main colors of Nurie coloring, conducted under the different color(light) environment having CCT of 2900K, were analyzed as cold colors which are related to 'psychology with introverted tendency' in color chart. In conclusion, the color(light) environment of art therapy space have significant impacts on the main colors of Nurie coloring and emotional change, which implies that client's emotion can be varied as color(light) environment of art therapy space changes. 본 연구는 미술치료실 조명의 색온도가 실험대상자의 감성변화에 미치는 영향과 누리에 채색에서 나타난 주조색의 변화에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자, 색온도 6500K 및 2900K의 LED조명이 설치된 미술치료실에서 20대의 대학생 50명을 대상으로 2011년 4월부터 2011년 6월까지 실험을 실시하였다. 감성평가는 지순덕(2007)에 의해 제시된 감성평가 설문지를 사용하였고 누리에 채색 분석은 컬러차트를 사용하였다. 연구결과, 미술치료실 조명의 색온도가 2900K인 색채(빛)환경은 정감 있고, 편안하고, 중후하며, 은은하고, 따뜻하고 고풍스러운 감성을 나타내었고, 색온도가 6500K인 색채(빛)환경은 활기 있고, 선명하고, 상쾌하며, 강렬하고 시원한 감성을 나타내었다. 또한 누리에 채색의 주조색 변화를 컬러차트를 이용하여 분석한 결과, 조명의 색온도가 낮은 2900K의 색채(빛)환경 하에서는 난색 계열의 외향적 심리 색상이, 조명의 색온도가 높은 6500K의 색채(빛)환경 하에서는 한색 계열의 구심적 심리 색상이 주조색으로 사용됨을 알 수 있었다. 결론적으로 조명의 색온도 변화로 만들어진 미술치료실의 색채(빛)환경의 변화가 실험대상자의 감성변화에 영향을 주었고 이에 따라 누리에 채색에서 나타난 주조색도 변화하였음을 알 수 있었다.

        웨이파인딩 시설물의 환경색채 분석에 관한 연구

        (Background and Purpose) With an increase in number of indoor and outdoor public spaces, their size have increased and their structures have also become more complicated. If this phenomenon continues, the importance of public spaces for users is expected to grow. Moreover, the growing importance of wayfinding has led more cities to implement wayfinding systems. The general elements that can help users’ wayfinding behavior may include directional signs and road names. However, other elements such as materials, patterns, and colors may be used in wayfinding systems as well. In a larger context, a building or structure can also serve as a wayfinding element. These elements serve as indicators that help users of space build their awareness of the current space and information about their destinations. In this study, we analyze the role and relevance of environmental colors in wayfinding systems. (Method) The rationale for this study was established after a review of previous studies on the use of visual information in wayfinding was completed. Environmental color data on wayfinding facilities in cities were also derived from an analysis of urban cases with wayfinding systems. Finally, the effect of environmental colors on users was confirmed through an analysis of the evaluation criteria that were tailored to measure their functions. (Results) Based on urban cases where the way-finding system was implemented, the environmental color of a facility played a role in conveying information about a space to the user. It also represented the identity of the space and affected other factors such as the psychology, physiology, and safety of the user. Environmental colors that consisted of achromatic colors and oil colors were evaluated differently―depending on the difference and type of each color―and their relationship with the wayfinding behavior of the user using the space was identified. (Conclusions) In this study, following the case analysis of cities to which the wayfinding system was applied, a study to analyze it through evaluation indicators was conducted based on previous studies and literature reviews. Demonstration studies should be conducted in the future to further broaden the impact of the environmental color of public space facilities on the way-finding. It is hoped that the data from this study will be used as basic data when the city to which the way-finding system is applied is designed and implemented.

        VR 환경 속에서 색온도 및 조도(照度)가 환경인지도와 길찾기에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 가상 환경에서 조명의 색온도, 광속(lx) 조건이 인간의 길찾기 및 환경지각에 대한 주관적 판단에미치는 영향을 탐구하는 데에 있다. 또한 CG 가상현실 환경을 통해 복잡한 평면도와 지속적 공간이 있는 가상 환경에서 색온도, 광색 및 광속의 변량을 이용하여 가상 환경의 인식 및 길찾기 능력을 해결하고 향상하게 시키는 방법을 연구하였다. 다양한 광색 조건 변수의 가상현실 환경에서 실험 참가자(N=60)의 자료를 조사하고 SD의 심리적조사 방법을 사용하여 이러한 조건 아래의 차이를 평가하였다. 그 결과 고(高)색 온도 및 중(中) 색온도의 광원 환경보다 저색 온도(난색)의 흡인력과 기억 분수가 더 높다. 하지만 고색 온도(한색) 환경은 선택의 망설임을 줄이고 더나은 통과 효율을 얻을 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 연구에 따르면 고아속이 낮은 가상 환경에서 고색 온도를 사용하든 저색 온도를 사용하든 다 부정적인 효과를 낼 것이라고 한다. 따라서 저색 온도 조명 환경은 효과적인 도로찾기 표시로 사용될 수 있고, 광범위적으로 고색 온도를 사용하는 공간 조명 조건이 도로 찾기 및 통행 효율에 더도움이 되는 것으로 간주한다. 또 여성이 남성보다 고광도 수준의 가상 환경을 선호한다는 연구 결과도 나왔다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of color temperature and lx conditions on human pathfinding and environmental perception in virtual environment.In addition, in CG virtual reality environment, how to use color temperature, light color and light flux variables to solve and improve the cognitive and pathfinding ability of virtual environment is studied.The data of participants (N=60) in virtual reality environment with various light and color conditions were investigated, and the differences were evaluated using SD psychological survey method.The results show that low color temperature (warm color) has higher attraction and memory score than high color temperature and neutral color temperature.Furthermore, the study confirmed that the use of color temperature in a virtual environment with low-throughput light levels, regardless of color temperature, results in negative effects.Therefore, low color temperature (warm color) lighting environment can be used as an effective wayfinding landmark, but wider use of high color temperature (cold color) lighting conditions are considered to be more conducive to pathfinding and traffic efficiency.In addition, the results show that women prefer high-brightness virtual environments to men.

        참여디자인을 적용한 학교 환경색채연구 -초등학교, 중학교 색채계획을 중심으로-

        Previously, Korean schools and classrooms mostly had monotonous and frosty atmosphere. As the education quality and importance of educational environment are being emphasized, many changes occurred eventually in the color environment of schools since a few years before. However, selection of colors was made without adequate understanding of school space, students, and colors, and gave rise to problems such as reckless use of colors and one-size-fits-all environment. Thus, the purpose of this study was to examine the importance of school environmental colors, improve satisfaction of students with the space based on application of interactive design for school color plan, and to propose the method for aesthetically and functionally good school color plan. The school color plan, mapped out in this study, set the principles for school color design in light of the characteristics of students, the users, by age based on understanding of school space, and was intended to increase satisfaction and interest of students through involvement of students, the actual users, in the designing process, and to induce intimacy with the space As a result, the targeted site was transformed into a space that promoted positive emotional development of students and provided emotional stimulation to students, and students were able to feel satisfaction and intimacy with school space. It is hoped that the results of this study would provide useful basis for color plan at an increasing number of schools, which can have a positive influence on students and improve satisfaction of students with school life. Furthermore, this researcher hopes that overall environment of every school can be improved by color plan even more beautifully and positively. 과거 우리나라 학교와 교실은 대부분 단조롭고 차가운 분위기를 가진 공간이었다. 교육의 질과 교육 환경의 중요성이 강조되면 서 수년 전부터는 비로소 학교 색채 환경에 많은 변화들이 일어났다. 하지만 색채 선정에 있어 학교 공간과 학생, 그리고 색채 에 대한 충분한 이해가 바탕이 되지 못하였고, 색채의 무분별한 사용 및 획일적 환경 조성 등의 문제점이 발생되었다. 이에 본 연구를 통해 학교 환경색채의 중요성에 대해 다시 한 번 점검하면서, 학교 색채계획의 방법으로 참여 디자인을 적용하 여 학생들의 공간에 대한 만족도를 높이며, 미적·기능적으로도 좋은 학교색채계획의 방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 진행한 학교 색채계획은 학교 공간에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 사용자인 학생의 연령별 특성을 고려하여 학교 색채 디자인의 원칙을 설정하고, 실제 사용자인 학생들의 디자인 참여를 통해 학생들의 만족도와 관심도를 높이고 공간에 대한 친밀 성을 줄 수 있도록 하였다. 그 결과 대상지는 학생들에게 긍정적 감성발달과 감성적 자극을 제공하는 공간이 되었으며, 학생들 이 학교 공간에 대한 만족감과 친밀감을 느낄 수 있게 되었다. 본 연구를 통해 더 많은 학교들이 학생들에게 긍정적인 영향을 미치며 학교생활의 만족도를 높일 수 있는 색채계획을 할 수 있기를 바라며, 나아가 모든 학교의 전반적인 환경이 더욱 아름답 고 긍정적으로 개선 될 수 있기를 바란다.

        국내 고속철도역사(驛舍) 실내공간의 색채현황 및 특성에 관한 연구

        Considering the spatial functions of express rail stations, the functions for traffic, gathering, transportation, assembly, and travel are considered very important in addition to various other functions for the expression of local character. As the standards of station facilities for the express rail in Korea to serve various functions are based on the resources from before the time of express rail and the statistical data of Japan, it is time to establish a new set of standards for the express rail facilities of Korea. This study involved visits, surveys, and analysis to find out that there are no or no sufficient standards related to the environmental colors for the visual environment. Therefore, the study of new colors for the express rail stations is the preparation for the new environment of express rail stations for the future. This study examined the express rail stations in relation to the interiors in terms of environmental colors to study the importance and recognition of interior colors. The methods of study adopted literature study to gather information on the existing regulations and contents, visits to Korea Railroad Corporation and Korea Rail Network Authority to interview the officials and the regulations relevant to color use, and substantial analysis of color use in the field to extract the precise resources of color to minimize the error and scope of interior color database. The colors extracted from the field were analyzed by the Munsell and NCS systems currently in use and classify the colors based on the characteristics of elements. This study intended to analyze the environmental colors of express rail stations to build the new database of interior environmental colors for the future changes and the spatial colors following the traffic of users to develop the new interior color planning scheme for the express rail stations.

        친자연적인 색을 이용한 환경색채연구-수원시 색채계획을 중심으로-

        The purpose of this study was to establish the value and validity of sustainable color plan using the nature-friendly colors as representative colors and landscape colors based on color plan of Suwon City. So far, the environmental color plan has led to development of symbolic colors with a focus on humanistic symbolic colors. The color plan, influenced by those humanistic factors, often applied specific symbolic colors even to environment colors which resulted in disharmony with target sites. In addition, symbol colors were often used as temporary campaign colors, and consequently, the colors selected on the basis of color plan could not be continuously utilized. A sustainable color plan is needed, instead of the color plan of which utilization declines over time after the color plan is mapped out. This study was intended to identify the colors blending harmoniously with surrounding scenery while reflecting the identity of target sites by designating nature-friendly colors of target sites as representative colors as envisioned by the sustainable color plan based on the color plan of Suwon City. The target sites in Suwon City has revealed the colors epitomizing its history, culture, environment and tradition for a long time and therefore those colors were included in the representative colors and landscape colors. In this study, we conducted physical investigation of history, culture, environment, natural environment, artificial environment, etc., through direct survey such as photographing, site colorimetry, visual inspection, etc. Moreover, the survey which focused on information, such as domestic/overseas cases of color plans related to humanistic environment, and, high-level plan, etc., was performed through indirect investigation including literature study, internet search, etc. As a result, 2 representative colors were developed into nature-friendly colors. The 2 nature-friendly representative colors could be used as colors symbolizing the target sites and applied as dominant colors for the target sites. This researcher hopes that this study would provide a useful basis for sustainable environmental color plan in the period ahead, which proves suitability of the use of nature-friendly colors. 본 연구는 수원시 색채 계획을 중심으로 친자연적인 색채를 대표색과 경관색으로 사용하는 지속가능한 색채계획의 가치와 타당성을 증명하기 위하여 수행 되었다. 지금까지의 환경색채계획은 인문적 상징의 색을 중심으로 한 상징색을 개발하였다. 이러한 인문적 요소들에 의해 좌우되는 색채계획은 특정 상징적인 색이 환경색채에까지 사용되어 대상지 환경과 어울리지 않는 경우가 많았다. 또한 상징색을 일시적인 캠페인(campaign) 색으로 사용하는 경우가 많아 색채계획을 통해 선정된 색을 지속적으로 활용할 수 없었다. 색채계획 후 시간이 경과되었을 때 활용도가 낮아지는 색채계획이 아닌 지속가능한 색채계획의 필요하다. 본 연구는 지속가능한 색채계획이 대상지의 친자연적인 색채를 대표색으로 지정하여 대상지의 아이덴티티(identity)를 담으면서도 경간과 조화로운 색을 찾는 것임을 수원시 색채계획을 통해 밝힌다. 수원시의 경우 역사·문화 환경의 색 또한 오랜 시간 대상지에 있었고 전통을 가졌기 때문에 자연환경과 함께 대표색과 경관색에 포함하였다. 역사·문화 환경과 자연환경, 인공환경 등 물질적인 조사는 사진촬영, 현장측색, 육안조사 등 직접조사의 방법으로 진행하였고, 인문환경 색채계획의 국·내외 사례조사, 상위계획 등의 정보 위주의 조사는 문헌조사, 인터넷조사 등 간접조사의 방법으로 진행하였다. 그 결과 2개의 대표색을 친자연적 색으로 개발하였다. 친자연적인 2개의 대표색은 대상지를 상징하는 색으로도 사용이 가능하며, 대상지 환경에 주조색으로도 사용할 수 있게 적용하였다. 본 연구가 앞으로 지속가능한 환경색채계획의 좋은 예가 되어 친자연적인 색의 사용이 적합하다는 것을 보이길 원한다.
