        가족의사소통 패턴, 의사소통 스타일 및 불안감이 갈등관리방식에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between family communication pattern, socio-communication style and communication apprehension and conflict management style. The data of 663 college student respondents was analyzed with statisticals methods of correlation analysis and canonical correlation analysis. The findings are as follows; 1. Family communication pattern was associated with conflict management style. The high conversation orientation group was showned to communicate through integrating style rather than avoiding style in conflict situations. 2. Socio-communication style demonstrated to have an effect on conflict management style. The high assertiveness orientation group obliged to communicate using dominating style, while the high responsiveness orientation group obliged to communicate through integrating style and compromising style under conflict contexts. 3. The results of the study also revealed that communication apprehension had an effect on conflict management style. The high communication apprehension group preferred to use avoiding style to manage conflict rather than integrating style, dominating style, and compromising style.

        선취업 후진학 대학생의 인문학적 소양이 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 선취업 후학습 대학생에 초점을 맞추어, 그들의 인문학적 소양과 의사소통능력 간의 관계를 살핌으로써 선취업 후진학 대학생을 위해 교양교육 차원에서 모색해야 할 방향을 확보하는 데 있다. 보다 구체적으로는 선취업 후진학 대학생의 인문학적 소양 군집 유형별 의사소통능력의 차이를 확인하고, 인문학적 소양과 의사소통능력의 관계를 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2019년 5월 21일 인천광역시에 위치한 4년제 I 대학에 재학중인 선취업 후진학 대학생 148명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 군집분석을 통해 선취업 후진학 대학생의 인문학적 소양 수준이 높고 낮음에 따라 ‘고 인문학적 소양’ 집단과 ‘저 인문학적 소양’ 집단으로 분류하였으며, 두 집단은 의사소통능력 모두에서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 선취업 후진학 대학생의 인문학적 소양과 의사소통능력의 관계를 살펴본 결과 인문학적 소양은 의사소통능력의 하위요인 중 고정관념적 사고극복을 제외한 모든 요인과 정적이며 유의한 상관관계를 보이고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 선취업 후진학 대학생의 인문학적 소양이 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향력을 살펴본 결과 의사소통능력 전체의 28%를 문학소양, 예술소양, 철학소양이 설명하는 것으로 나타났으며, 인문학적 소양은 의사소통능력의 하위요인 중 경청 및 개방적 의사소통을 가장 많이 설명해 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 인문학적 소양의 철학소양은 의사소통능력과 그 하위요인 모두에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 인문학적 소양의 수준별 집단 분석을 통해 각각의 집단 특성과 집단간 의사소통능력의 차이를 확인하고 선취업 후진학 대학생, 인문학적 소양, 의사소통능력의 관계를 위한 기초자료 및 시사점을 제공하였다는 점에서 의미가 있다. The objective of this study is to examine the direction of liberal education for the college students in Work First-then to College by examining the relationship between their humanistic style and communicate skills, focusing on the students in Work First-then to College system. Furthermore, it is to identify the difference in the communication skills by type of the humanistic style group of the students in Work First-then to College system and to verify the relationship between humanistic style and communication skills. To this end, a survey was conducted on 148 students in Work First-then to College system, who attending four-year I University located in Incheon Metropolitan City on May 21, 2019, and the results were as follows. First, it was classified as a group of the "high humanistic style " and the "low humanistic style" according to the level of humanistic style of the students in Work First-then to College system through the cluster analysis, and the both groups showed differences in communication skills. Second, as a results of the relationship between humanistic style and communication skills of the students in Work First-then to College, it was found that the humanistic style showed the positive and significant correlation with all factors, except for stereotypic thinking overcoming of the sub-factors of communication skills. Third, as the results of looking at the effect of the humanistic style of the students in Work First-then to College on communication skills, it showed that the liberal arts of literature, arts, and philosophy explain 28% of the entire communication skills, and the humanistic style explain the listening and open communication skill the most of the sub-factors of communication skills. The philosophy in the humanistic style has also been shown as a factor affecting both communication skills and their sub-factors. This study is significant to identify the differences between the characteristics of each group and the communication skills through the cluster analysis by level of the humanistic style, and to provide basic data and implications for the relationship between the students in Work First-then to College, the humanistic style, and communication skills.

        의사의 커뮤니케이션 스타일이 환자만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        These days, the environment of hospital marketing is changing rapidly. The level of expectation and demand of patients have become greater and more diversified, and patients have more alternatives in selecting hospitals. The standard of hospital selection and the type of using hospital have been changed, and competition among hospitals has been accelerated due to the opening of the medical market through globallzation. Accordingly, differentiation strategies are critical in hospital marketing. The quality of medical service oriented toward patient satisfaction becomes a strong strategic weapon to secure a hospital`s competitive advantage. Therefore, marketing and communication strategies should be focused on patient-oriented, rather than hospitdoriented. Considering the changes in the hospital environment and the increase in the patients` expectation level, this study categorizes doctors` communication styles into four different ones: trust-type, professional-type, cooperation-type, and control-type. The effects of these communication styles on patient satisfaction were empirically examined. The moderating roles of the patient s characteristics and clinical characteristics between the doctors communication styles and patient satisfaction were also investigated to find out managerial implications for hospital management. To achieve such goals, data were collected from patients of 12 general hospitals in Busan. The data were analyzed to test research hypotheses that examine 1) the relationships between doctors communication styles and patient satisfaction, 2) the moderating roles of the patient characteristics and clinical characteristics in the research model, and 3) the impact of patient satisfaction on positive word-of-mouth and repurchase. The following summarizes the major results of ths research. First, the data showed that patient satisfaction varied across doctors communication styles. Trust-type style had the strongest impact on patient satisfaction whde control-type style had the weakest influence on patient satisfaction. Rofessional-type style and cooperation-type style also had positive effects on patient satisfaction but the impact of the two are not statistically different. Second, significant differences in terms of patient satisfaction were found depending upon demographic variables such as gender, marital status, age, occupation, and education. Patient satisfaction, however, was consistent across varying income groups. Third, patients medical insurance types were also related to patient satisfaction. It implies that a doctor may need to use different communication styles depending on a patient s medical insurance type. Fourth, out-patient and in-patient showed a different level of satisfaction with varying communication styles. Fifth, highly professional knowledge and strong control can influence patient satisfaction depending on the characteristics of the patient treatment field. Sixth, patient satisfaction were proved to have significantly positive effects on word-of-mouth and repurchase. The implications drawn from this study must be tempered by its limitations. First of all, the subjects used in this study were patients in Busan and small- and medium-size hospitals were excluded from the research. Therefore, future research should examine the research model by using a variety of hospitals and clinics throughout Korea. Another research agenda has to do with finding more determinant and moderating variables which will increase an explanatory power of the model. In short, this study may be the first empirical research that investigates the effects of doctors` communication styles on patient satisfaction. Interestingly enough, the results showed that each communication style had a unique impact on patient satisfaction. The findings from this research can be very useful in developing hospital marketing strategies.

        기혼 남녀의 성 의사소통 유형이 성생활의 질 및 사랑 요소에 미치는 영향

        The purposes of this study are to classify married people's sexual communication style, to examine the influences of each sexual communication style on quality of sex life and components of love, and to identify the differences in quality of sex life and components of love according to sexual communication style, demographic characteristics and marriage and sex life-related characteristics of subjects. Data used for this study were collected with questionnaire from 295 married men and women aged from 20s to 40s of Seoul, Kyong-ki, and In-cheon, Korea. The Questionnaire was composed of The Measure of Sexual Self-Disclosure, Derogatis Sexual Function Inventory(DSFI), Sexual Attitude Scale, Sexual Assertiveness Scale, Dyadic Sexual Regulation Scale, Likelihood of Consenting to Unwanted Sex, Jewish General Hospital(JGH) Sexual Self-Monitoring Form, Sexual Intimacy Scale, and The Sternberg Triangular Love Scale. The statistical methods adopted for data analysis were cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA, and two-way ANOVA. As the results of this study, sexual communication style was classified into four groups: reciprocal style, speculative style, self-centered style, passive style. Reciprocal style represented the highest levels of quality of sex life and love among four sexual communication styles. On the other hand, Speculative style represented the lowest levels of quality of sex life and love among four sexual communication styles. There were significant differences in self-centered style and passive style according to the levels of Sexual Attitude, Consenting to Unwanted Sex, and Sexual Regulation. Quality of sex life and love has significant differences on sex, age, and period of marriage. Finally, implication and limitation of this study were discussed.

        체육수업에서의 학생들의 친사회적 행동과 반사회적 행동이 교사의 상호소통방식에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to examine the precedence factor of the influences on the teachers interpersonal communication styles (i.e., autonomy supportive and controlling communication style). For this way, we examined the relation between teachers interpersonal communication styles and students pro and antisocial behaviors. In the study, 200 middle and high school students participated and completed the questionnaires. In correlational and regression analyses, students prosocial behavior was positively associated with teachers autonomy supportive communication style and negatively with teachers controlling communication style. Whereas students antisocial behavior was positively associated with teachers controlling communication style and negatively with autonomy supportive communication style. The results indicated that students prosocial behavior was a very well predictor of teachers autonomy supportive communication style than their controlling communication style, while students antisocial behavior was a stronger predictor of teachers controlling communication style than their autonomy communication style in the physical education filed. In conclusion, students pro and antisocial behaviors play important role to promote their teachers interpersonal communication style. In overall, through this verification, it is verified that the image training has a positive effect on the class for whom physical education prep students.

        출판사 조직구성원의 사회적 커뮤니케이션 성향과 커뮤니케이션 불안감이 갈등관리행동에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 사회적 커뮤니케이션 성향과 커뮤니케이션 불안감이 출판사 조직구성원의 갈등관리행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 밝히는데 목적을 두었다. 사회적 커뮤니케이션 성향은 감응성과 주장력을 상호교차하여 네 가지 커뮤니케이션 유형으로 나누어 살펴보았으며, 커뮤니케이션 불안감은 대화불안, 스피치불안, 회의불안, 그룹불안으로 파악하였다. 갈등관리행동은 조직내 대인간 갈등상황에서 참여자가 대인갈등을 효과적으로 관리하기 위해 선택하는 커뮤니케이션 방법으로 통합, 타협, 지배, 복종, 회피스타일로 나눌 수 있다. 분석결과 사회적 커뮤니케이션 성향과 커뮤니케이션 불안감은 갈등관리행동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 커뮤니케이션 성향에 따른 갈등관리행동의 경우, 양성적 유형은 통합스타일을, 남성적 유형은 지배스타일을, 여성적 유형은 복종스타일과 타협스타일을, 미분화된 유형은 회피스타일을 더 많이 사용하였다. 또한 커뮤니케이션 불안감이 높을수록 회피스타일을 가장 많이 사용하고, 불안감이 낮을수록 통합스타일과 타협스타일을 사용하는 경향을 보였다. The current study examined the relationship between the publishing industry followers" socio-communicative style and communication apprehension on conflict resolution styles. Conflict resolution style is for selecting way of communication in order to manage the interpersonal conflicts effectively. It includes collaborating, compromising, competing, accommodating, and avoiding style. Socio-communicative style includes androgynous, masculine, feminine, and undifferentiated style. Communication apprehension includes group apprehension, conversation apprehension, speech apprehension, and meeting apprehension. Results showed that socio-communicative style and communication apprehension affect conflict resolution styles. In detail, people who are androgynous style use collaborating style, masculine style use competing style, feminine style use compromising & accommodating style, undifferentiated style use avoiding style respectively. The more communication apprehension was, the more avoiding style was. Whereas, the less communication apprehension was, the more collaborating & compromising styles were.

        온라인 패션 커뮤니티에서 회원들 간의 구매정보 교환과정에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 온라인 커뮤니티에서 적극적으로 의견을 발신하는 의견지도자들의 커뮤니케이션 스타일을 분석함으로써 의견, 정보 교환과정에서의 효과적인 전달방식을 분석했다. 분석대상은 패션제품 정보를 다루는 온라인 커뮤니티 게시판과 해당 커뮤니티 회원들을 선정했다. 게시판에서는 "쇼핑후기", "상품 문의 및 응답", "소장품 코디 문의 및 응답", "상품사진", "상품에 대한 개인 의견교류" 등의 주제를 가진 정보들이 주로 공유되고 있었다. 선행연구에 따라 의견지도자들을 선별하고 이들의 커뮤니케이션 스타일을 분석한 결과, 세분화된 내용전달로 보통의 일반 게시글보다 정보의 전문성을 확보하려는 <객관형>, 자신의 경험을 바탕으로 상품뿐만 아니라 주변 관련 정보까지 함께 전달하고 있어 정보의 공감대를 형성하려는 <주관형>, 내용 서술보다는 자신의 소장품이나 착용사진을 통해 직접적인 정보를 전달하려는 <직접형>으로 구분되고 있었다. 이에 일반 이용자들의 "의도적 차원"에서는 원활한 정보탐색 능력을 가지고 능동적인 정보획득, 공유로 커뮤니티 참여에 만족하고 있었다. "인식적 차원"에서는 다수의 게시물 중에서 정보력이 있는 특정 작성자의 게시물을 인지하고 있었으며, "태도적 차원"에서는 의견지도력을 가진 게시물로 자신의 선행정보를 확인하고 강화해 새로운 구매의사가 형성될 수 있는 가능성도 나타났다. 마지막으로 "행위적 차원"에서는 해당상품의 이미지 형성과 관련정보를 주변인에게 추천하거나, 자신 또한 게시글 작성 시 특정 커뮤니케이션 스타일을 모방하면서, 차후 정보를 재탐색하게 되는 경우 특정 게시자를 우선적으로 찾고 있었다. 일반이용자의 개인특성 역시 적극적인 정보탐색과 사회관계적인 성향이 나타나고 있었다. 이들은 평소 자신이 일반적으로 선호하고 직접 사용하고 있는 커뮤니케이션 스타일과 유사한 게시글 작성 유형에 정보 친숙도를 가지고 있었으며, 정보 전달력과 신뢰 정도도 높다고 인식하고 있었다. <객관형>을 선호하는 커뮤니티 회원들은 정보의 완성도가 높고 전문성을 가지고 있다고 생각하고 있었으며, 반면에 공감대형성을 통해 정보 친숙도를 가지고 있는 회원들은 <주관형>의 스타일을 선호하고 있었다. 그리고 사진 첨부를 통해 정보를 그대로 전달하고 있는 <직접형>은 정보 전달력이 크다고 인식하고 있었다. This study analyzed the communication styles of opinion leaders that expressed their opinions actively at online communities and effective delivery methods in the process of exchanging opinions and information. The previous studies on online communities, online opinion leaders, communication styles, and word-of-mouth communication were reviewed to prepare for theoretical grounds for the study`s goals and to set the following research questions: <Research Question 1> What are the communication styles of opinion leaders in online communities?; <Research Question 2> What kind of impact do the online opinion leaders` information postings have on the recipients` choice of information?; and <Research Question 3> What is the word-of-mouth effect in information choice according to the communication styles of online opinion leaders? Analyzed in the study were the bulletin board of an online community that dealt with information about fashion products and its members. They shared information of such topics as "comments after shopping", "questions and answers about products," "questions and answers about how to coordinate the current belongings," "product photos" and "exchange of personal opinions about products." Based on the previous studies, nine opinion leaders were selected, and their communication styles were analyzed. As a result, they were categorized into three styles: the <objective style> tried to provide more detailed information and thus secure informational professionalism than general postings; the <subjective style> tried to form information consensus with others by providing information about products and concerned information; and the <visual style> provided information directly with their own belongings and photos of wearing them instead of contents. The general users were satisfied with the community participation with active information acquirement and sharing based on the ability to search information smoothly in the "aspect of intention." In the "aspect of perception," they noticed the postings of certain writers with information power. In the "aspect of attitude," they were likely to develop new purchase intention by checking and reinforcing the information they already had through the postings with opinion leadership. Finally in the "aspect of action," they looked for certain writers when trying to form an image of a product, recommend related information to others, or mimicking a certain communication style when writing a posting and researching for information for later. They exhibited information familiarity with the postings whose style was similar to their own communication style and thought those postings had higher information delivery power and reliability. The members that preferred the <objective style> thought the information completion level was high and there was professionalism. Meanwhile, those who had information familiarity through consensus preferred the <subjective style>. And they thought the information delivery power was high with the <visual style> that offered information as it was through photos attached. According to the analysis results, it is apparent that the <objective>, <subjective> and <visual> communication styles of the opinion leaders in the online fashion community were related to the individual communication tendencies of the information recipients and had influences on the reinforcement of the old information and the acceptance process of new information. There should be strategic organizations through the combinations and emphases of communication styles proper for the contents and situations of information to be effectively delivered.

        한국인 20대 대학생의 커뮤니케이션 스타일 유형 인식에 대한 연구- 커뮤니케이션 능력과의 비교를 통하여

        이 연구의 목적은 커뮤니케이션 스타일에 따른 커뮤니케이션 능력의 관련성을 확인하고, 이를 통해 한국 20대 대학생이 생각하는 각 유형의 의미가 무엇인지를 확인하는 데 있다. 커뮤니케이션 스타일은 한 사람이 커뮤니케이션을 하는 데 있어서 드러내는 포괄적인 개념이라 할 수 있다.(Norton,1978:99) 이러한 포괄적인 개념의 커뮤케이션 스타일은 단순히 커뮤니케이션 능력이라는 차원의 역량적 측면이기보다는 커뮤니케이션을 통해서 언어적, 비언어적으로 이해하게 되는 이미지적인 측면이라고 할 수 있다. 그렇기 때문에 커뮤니케이션 스타일은 커뮤니케이션의 다양한 측면과 관련성을 가지고 있을 것을 예상할 수 있다. 이에 Norton(1983)과 Rubin & Martin(1994)를 활용하여 커뮤니케이션 스타일과 능력의 관련성을 확인하고 20대 대학생이 인식하는 10개의 유형이 어떤 의미인지를 확인해 보았다. The object of this study is to examine the relationship between communication style and competence and identify the meaning of each type to Korea’s college students in their twenties based on the findings. Communication style can be seen as a comprehensive concept which one shows while communicating (Norton,1978:99). Communication style, as a comprehensive concept, is not only about competence, aspect of communication skills, but about an aspect of images understood verbally and non-verbally through communication. Therefore, communication style is expected to be related to various aspects of communication. This study explores the relationship between communication style and competence and identifies the meaning of the ten types perceived by college students in their twenties based on the review of Norton (1983) and Rubin & Martin (1994).

        의료진의 커뮤니케이션 스타일과 증상의 심각성 수준이 환자의 신뢰, 만족, 순응도에 미치는 영향

        This study analyzes the interaction between the severity of a patient’s symptoms and the communication style of healthcare providers in medical services and proves how it affects the patient’s trust, satisfaction, and compliance levels. To achieve this objective, this study examines patient reactions to various communication styles of healthcare providers and verifies the impact of symptoms’ severity and communication styles on trust, satisfaction, and compliance. It also comprehensively analyzes the impact of trust and satisfaction on compliance. The following results are obtained. First, whether healthcare providers’ communication styles are cooperative or controlling does not have a statistically significant effect on trust, satisfaction, or compliance. Second, the interaction effect between healthcare providers’ communication styles and the severity of symptoms has a significant effect on trust and satisfaction but not on compliance. Third, healthcare providers’ trust and satisfaction have a significant positive effect on compliance and this effect is greater for trust than satisfaction. Based on the above results, this study empirically shows that there is no definite answer as to the best communication style for a healthcare provider. This study is important as it derives an optimal communication style for each level of severity of a patient’s symptoms. Lastly, it presents practical implications for building strategies to improve healthcare providers’ communication styles. 본 연구의 목적은 의료 서비스에서 환자 증상의 심각성과 의료진의 커뮤니케이션 스타일의 상호작용을 분석하고, 환자의 신뢰, 만족, 순응도에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 의료진의 커뮤니케이션 스타일에 따른 고객 반응을 살펴보고, 증상의 심각성과 커뮤니케이션 스타일이 신뢰, 만족, 순응도에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 또한, 신뢰와 만족이 순응도에 미치는 영향을 통합적으로 분석하였다. 해당 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 의료진의 커뮤니케이션 스타일이 협력적인지 통제적인지에 따라 신뢰, 만족, 순응도에는 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 둘째, 의료진의 커뮤니케이션 스타일과 증상의 심각성 수준 간의 상호작용 효과는 신뢰와 만족에는 유의하였으며, 순응도에는 유의하지 않았다. 셋째, 의료진의 신뢰와 만족은 순응도에 정의 영향을 미치고, 신뢰가 만족보다 더 큰 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로, 의료진의 커뮤니케이션 스타일은 이분법적으로 어떤 커뮤니케이션이 좋다고 볼 수 없다는 점을 실증적으로 입증하고, 환자 증상의 심각성을 고려한 상황별 최적의 커뮤니케이션 스타일을 도출했다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 또한, 의료진의 커뮤니케이션 능력을 높일 수 있는 전략 수립을 위해 실무적인 시사점을 제시한다.

        부모-자녀간 의사소통과 남녀 청소년의 낙관성이 갈등대처방식에 미치는 영향

        Objective: The main purpose of this study was to examine the direct and indirect effects of parent-adolescent communication (through adolescent optimism) on adolescent conflict-coping styles. Methods: A total of 337 high school students participated in this study. They completed questionnaires about communications with their parents and their own optimism and conflict-coping styles. Data were analyzed using t-tests, correlations, and SEM. Results: Neither father- nor mother-adolescent communication had direct effects on adolescent conflict-coping styles. However, mother-adolescent communication had an indirect effect on conflict-coping styles, mediated by adolescent optimism. Adolescents who had open communication with mothers displayed higher levels of optimism, which led to more positive conflict-coping styles. In addition, multigroup analyses revealed that there were significant gender differences in direct and indirect effects. For boys, mother-adolescent communication directly influenced adolescent conflict-coping styles; however, father-adolescent communication did not directly or indirectly affect adolescent conflict-coping styles. For girls, neither father- nor mother-adolescent communication had direct effects on conflict-coping styles; only optimism had a significant effect on conflict-coping styles. Conclusion: The findings from this study suggest that communication with mothers and fathers have different effects on adolescents` conflict-coping styles. These findings have implications for future research and practice by emphasizing the importance of parent-adolescent communication and optimism in designing conflict-coping programs for adolescents.
