        초등학교 체육교과 전담제의 현황과 개선방안

        The purpose of this study is to research present situations and the awareness of physical education specialist and to analyze the management realities of physical education specialist system of elementary school to provide suggestions to fix and improve an effective management system. The Questionnaire method was used for this research, and Questions were reconstructed with reference to the study of preceeding research data (Odujun, 1998 . Gimjungsaeng, 1999). The following conclusion were resulted from research data analysis. First, 12 elementary schools out of surveyed 15 schools have a physical education specialist system, however, it is not fully activated in the elementary school because schools tend to take this system regardless of the number of classes. Moreover, the working condition of physical education specialists is not good due to the heavy duty including supplementary classes besides physical education. According to the investigation on selection standard of physical education specialists, 50.0% of them were selected by the decision of principal or vice headmaster of school. Second, for the reason of which physical education requires special teacher's expert knowledge and function, the teacher who has a special skilled ability must take the exclusive charge of physical education to promote efficiency and to instruct students with an adequate guidance of physical education. Though many class teachers are in strongly need of physical education specialists for more effective physical education, some of class teachers avoid this system because of harder instruction than other subject instruction. Third, the biggest problem of physical education specialist system is that School personnel administrations tend to arrange physical specialists without having serious consideration of their talent and ability and lack of expert knowledge on physical education shows up another problem. The priority matters to improve this system are building a gymnasium, supplementation of equipments and facilities. Appeared that 54.5% of elementary school teachers have an opinion about appointing a qualified middle-high school physical education teacher to the physical education specialist of elementary school. Considering the training system and the device for demand and supply of the physical education specialists, established education systems are needed for which 1 teacher-1subject major and 1-subject minor subject of Art and Physical department and the research showed that National University of Education must select new students by each subject for training of physical education specialist.

        전시체제하 일본의 국민학교 체련과(體錬科) 교육 ― 그 실제와 한계 ―

        On entering into the (Second) Sino-Japanese War in 1937, Japanese society turned into the war footing. The Japanese Army, long been prepared for the total war, has been concerned about physical strength of young conscripts thereby the issues of reduced physical strength of the public emerged from the physical examination for conscription. Japanese Army pointed out the Japanese education as one of the causes of reduced physical strength of the public and so does the Ministry of Education that took the issue as one of major problems to be resolved. Engaged the war, the educational system was revised by which the elementary education faced the sweeping change of an introduction of elementary school cultivating Japanese nationals in 1941. Children in the elementary school were out of subjects to be mobilized for the war however they were regarded and treated as young nationals as well as valuable human resources for the future. Thus, the measures to resolve issues associated with reduced physical strength were reflected in the course of education in elementary school, and in this context, the physical training education was intensified. The time assigned to the lessons for the subject of physical training in a week, which corresponds to the course of physical education in the elementary school, had increased almost twice with changes in contents and objectives of the education. Regarding the objectives of the lessons of the subject of physical training, the physical training, as well as spiritual exercising, intended for the intensification of national power and defense strength. That is, the subject of physical training mediated the connection between mind and body of students, by which the physical body of individuals was transformed into the physical body of nation. In the course of lessons, the subject of military arts was selected as one of regular courses thereby the ‘Spirit of Japan’ emerged and consequently resulted in the systematic rearrangement in contents of physical training. However, contrary to the objectives of education of national significance presented by the Ministry of Education, the ways of receiving educational courses in the actual education field exhibited limitations. The extensively enlarged objectives and complexity of contents in lessons for the education were regarded by teachers as estranging them from actual reality. Besides, the situation, lacking resources and foods, also limited the accomplishment of educational objectives of the enhancement physical strength through physical training and education. Consequently, the solution, for the issue of reduced physical strength which exerted the intensification of education of physical training in the background, was unavailable through employment of physical training and education.

      • 놀이 중심의 초등학교 체육수업에 대한 탐구

        연구목적: 본 연구는 초등학교 교사의 놀이체육수업이 어떻게 전개되고 있는지 심도 있게 살펴보고, 놀이체육에 대한 교사들의 인식은 무엇인지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법: 이 연구를 위해 초등학교에서 놀이체육을 활용하고 있는 현직 교사 7명을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 질적 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주된 자료 수집은 심층면담을 통해 이루어졌으며 연구 참여자별로 2∼4회에 걸쳐 실시되었다. 또한 수업 지도안, 수업 일지, 학생 편지 등의 문서 수집을 통해 면담 자료의 구체성을 더하였다. 연구결과: 초등교사의 놀이체육 활용 유형은 사전 준비 없이도 쉽게 할 수 있는 체육수업으로써의 ‘즉흥적 수업’, 학생들의 흥미를 우선으로 하여 내용을 선정하는 ‘유희 중심 수업’, 학급 운영 및 수업 관리 계획의 한 방법으로 활용하는 ‘보상용 수업’ 세가지 유형으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 놀이체육수업에 대한 초등교사의 인식은 ‘초등체육의 새 흐름’과 ‘또 다른 아나공 수업’으로 나타났다. 결론: 본 연구는 놀이 중심으로 운영되는 초등학교 체육수업 모습을 생생하게 제공함으로써 초등학교 체육수업이 직면한 상황을 구체적으로 드러내고 초등체육의 발전을 위한 시사점을 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다. Purpose: This study was intended to examine in depth how elementary school teachers’ drama physical education classes are developing, and to find out how teachers’ perceptions of play physical education are. Methods: Qualitative study was conducted by selecting 8 incumbent teachers who are using play sports in elementary school as research participants. The main data collection in this study was conducted through in-depth interviews, which were conducted 2 to 4 times for each research participant. In addition, the specificity of the interview data was added by collecting documents such as class guidance plans, class diaries, and student letters. Result: First, the use of play sports by elementary school teachers is ‘improvisation class’, which is a physical education class that can be easily performed without prior preparation, ‘play-centered class’, which prioritizes students’ interest in content selection, class operation and class management plan. Second, elementary school teachers’ perceptions of play physical education classes appeared as ‘a new trend in elementary physical education’ and ‘another anagong class’. Elementary school teachers recognize play sports as an alternative in the midst of a vacuum in educational content, reduced opportunities for physical education classes, and the demands of the play-centered era. In addition, on the one hand, it was analyzed that the critical perception that play physical education classes foster students who think of physical education as play and teachers who do not study physical education is mixed. Conclusion: This study is meaningful in that it provides vividly the appearance of elementary school physical education classes operated centering on play, thereby revealing the situation faced by elementary physical education classes in detail and providing implications for the development of elementary physical education.

        예비초등교사의 초·중·고 시절 체육교과에 대한 교육경험 분석

        이 연구는 예비초등교사의 초·중·고등학교 시절, 체육교과에 대한 경험을 분석하여 내용교수지식을 분석하는데 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하고자 2023학년도 1학기 체육교수법을 수강한 A교육대학교 예비교사(국어교육과 n=3명, 윤리교육과 n=3명, 총 6명)를 연구참여자로 선정한 후 심층면담과 문서자료를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 Giorgi의 현상학적 연구방법에 따라 분석한 결과, 구성요소 4개, 하위구성요소 12개, 의미단위 48개가 도출되었다. 첫 번째 구성요소는 <‘체육’ 다시 생각하기>로 예비초등교사가 ‘과거 체육수업에 대한 회상’, ‘체육교육의 내재적 가치 경험’, ‘효과적인 수업 전략 경험’에 관한 것이다. 두 번째는 <몸으로 생각하기>로 ‘수동적 체육수업 경험’, ‘능동적 체육수업 경험’, ‘의사소통 중심 체육수업 경험’ 이야기이다. 세 번째는 <관찰하기>로 ‘체육수업 시설 및 환경 중요성 인식’, ‘효과적 수업자료 필요성 인식’, ‘다양한 신체활동 경험 부족’으로 물리적인 환경 및 시설 구성 정도에 따라 좋은 체육수업과 그렇지 못한 수업의 경험 이야기이다. 마지막으로 <사색하기>로 ‘체육수업의 전문성 인식’, ‘교사의 수업 책무성 인식’, ‘교사 자질의 중요성 인식’으로 과거 교사가 내용교수지식을 함양하였는지 아님 아닌지에 따라 어떤 유형의 체육수업을 경험하였는가에 대한 이야기이다. This study aims to analyze content teaching knowledge by analyzing prospective elementary school teacher’s experiences with physical education subjects during elementary, middle, and high school. In order to achieve this research purpose, prospective teachers at A University of Education(Korean Language Education Department n=3, Ethics Education Department n=3, total 6 people) who took physical education teaching methods in th first semester of the 2023 school year were selected as research participants and then conducted in-depth interviews and Date were collected through documentary sources. As a result of analyzing the collected data according ti Giorgi’s phenomenological research method, 4 components, 12 subcomponents, and 48 meaning units were derived. The first component is <Rethinking ‘Physical Education’>, with concerns prospective elementary school teachers’ ‘recollections of past physical education classes’, ‘experience of the intrinsic value of physical education’, and ‘experience of effective teaching strategies.’ The second is <Thinking with the Body>, which is a story about ‘passive physical education class experience’, ‘active physical education class experience’, and ‘communication-centered physical education class experience’. The third is <Observation>, which includes 'recognition of the importance of physical education facilities and environment', 'recognition of the need for effective teaching materials', and 'lack of experience in various physical activities', which determines whether good physical education classes are good or bad depending on the physical environment and facility configuration. This is a story of experience. Lastly, through <Thinking>, 'recognition of professionalism in physical education classes', 'recognition of teachers' teaching responsibilities', and 'recognition of the importance of teacher qualifications' are used to determine what type of physical education classes should be taught depending on whether or not teachers have developed content teaching knowledge in the past. This is a story about what I experienced.

        플립러닝 체육수업 운영에 대한 초등 교사의 인식 분석

        Objectives The purpose of this study was to explore information and implications for applying flipped learning to physical education classes by analyzing elementary school teachers' perceptions of flipped learning physical education classes. Methods A questionnaire survey of 223 elementary school teachers across the country, focusing on teachers teaching in the G Province, and 210 data were collected and frequency analysis was conducted using SPSS 23.0 for Windows. Results Elementary school teachers recognized that flipped learning physical education classes were necessary, and a high percentage of respondents responded to the purpose and purpose of flipped learning physical education classes as ‘reflecting the needs of the times for future education’ and ‘freeing up time for the development of learner-centered activities.’ There was a strong perception that the operation of flipped learning physical education classes required teacher competencies such as ‘class design ability’ and ‘communication skills’. In addition, 17.6% of primary school teachers experienced flipped learning physical education classes, which were mainly taught in competitive and challenging areas, and the duration of operation was mainly around 6 months, and the operation was recognized as having a higher effect than traditional physical education and classes when managing flipped learning physical education classes. The educational implications of the research are as follows: First, flipped learning physical education classes have a high educational effect and sufficient meaning to be an alternative to future physical education. Second, in order to effectively practice flipped learning physical education classes, it is urgent for teachers to develop their ability to design lessons, and the possibility of practice can be enhanced through teacher learning community, faculty training, etc. Third, it was suggested that in order to effectively operate flipped learning physical education classes, systematic preparation is necessary by providing a comprehensive environment such as digital ethics education and the construction of IT infrastructure. Conclusions Elementary teachers' experience and perception of flipped learning physical education classes are expanding, but they must be supported by the establishment of an environment that increases their viability. 목적 이 연구의 목적은 플립러닝 체육수업에 대한 초등 교사의 인식을 확인하여 그 교육적 시사점을 찾는 것이다. 방법 G도에 위치한 초등학교에서 근무하는 교사들을 중심으로 전국 시도교육청 소속의 초등 교사 223명을 대상으로 설문 조사를진행하였고, 210부의 자료를 수집하여 SPSS 23.0 for Windows를 이용해 빈도분석을 실시하였다. 결과 초등 교사들은 플립러닝 체육수업은 필요하다고 인식했고, 플립러닝 체육수업의 취지와 목적에 대해 ‘미래 교육을 위한 시대적요구 반영’과 ‘학습자 중심 활동 전개를 위한 시간 확보’라고 응답한 비율이 높았다. 플립러닝 체육수업 운영에 있어 ‘수업 설계 능력’ 및 ‘의사소통 능력’과 같은 교사 역량이 요구된다는 인식이 컸다. 또한 초등 교사의 17.6%가 플립러닝 체육수업을 경험하였는데, 주로 경쟁영역과 도전영역을 중심으로 지도하였고 운영 기간은 주로 6개월 내외였으며 플립러닝 체육수업을 운영했을 때 기존 체육과 수업보다 높은 효과를 봤다고 인식했다. 연구 결과에 따른 교육적 시사점을 제시하면, 플립러닝 체육수업은 교육적 효과가 크기에미래 체육교육을 위한 하나의 대안이 될 수 있다. 또한, 플립러닝 체육수업을 효과적으로 운영하기 위해서는 교사의 수업 설계 역량함양이 시급한데 교과 연구회, 연수 등을 통해 실천 가능성을 높일 수 있으며, 원활한 운영을 위해 디지털 윤리교육, IT인프라 구축과같은 제반 환경을 마련하여 체계적인 준비가 필요하다. 결론 플립러닝 체육수업에 대한 초등 교사의 경험과 인식은 확장되고 있으나 실천 가능성을 높일 수 있는 환경 구축이 뒷받침되어야한다.

        초등학교 남·여학생 체육 분리수업이 여학생 체육수업 만족에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect on the class satisfaction of female students' physical education after applying a physical education school curriculum for the fourth grader of elementary school students as strategy for increasing the class satisfaction of female elementary school students' physical education. To achieve this, in-depth interview was conducted to collect and analyze the data and as the subject 10 female fourth grade students out of 65 ones who experienced the male·female students' separate physical education participated from ‘N’ elementary female student located in S City, Gyeonggi Province. The result were as follows. First, the reason why the male·female students' separate physical education was necessary for the female students was that they could feel comfortable classes without negative experiences like criticism, severe rebuke and stinging reaction from the male students in case of mixed physical education, and that there were good physical activities without any burden for mistakes. Second, in case of mixed physical education, the female students were very discontent with the situation that they could not participate in the physical education actively against their wills, but they felt that the male·female students' separate physical education was good because the female students could do a lot of activities and participate actively as the subject of male·female students' separate physical education. Third, the whole 10 female students who participated in this research wanted to have male·female students' separate physical education again. The research findings above in this study may be effective measures that could increase the class satisfaction of female students' physical education for the fourth grader of male·female elementary school students' separate physical education, that could change the recognition of physical subject for the female students, and that the female students could do physical activities actively

        초등 교사의 통합적 관점에서 본 체육교육

        이 연구는 초등학교 교사들이 인식하고 있는 초등교육의 특성과 전문성 속에서 체육교과교육에서 나타나는 문제점의 근본적인 원인을 다시 찾아보고 초등체육교과교육의 문제해결방법을 좀 더 다양하게 모색해 보고자 하였다. 이러한 목적을 위해 2006년 6월부터 9월까지 초등교사 6명을 대상으로 1:1 개인 심층면담과 2인 이상이 참여하는 집단면담, 문서자료를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석은 사례기록과 귀납적 범주 분석 방법을 통해 이루어졌고 자료의 수집 및 분석과정에서 구성원간 검토와 동료간 협의를 통해 자료의 진실성을 확보하고자 하였다. 초등교사들이 인식하는 체육교과교육의 특성으로는 교육과 체육교육의 목적의 합일성, 초등교사로써의 역할, 초등체육교사로써의 역할로 범주화 되었다. This study was to reconsider the elementary physical education through the viewpoint on characteristic and expertise of elementary school teachers also to find the various ways for the promote expertise of elementary physical education. For this purpose, 1:1 individual in-depth interviews, group interviews involving more than 2 people, and documentary data on six elementary school teachers were done to gather the data from June to September of 2006. The collected data was analyzed using case records and inductive category analysis, and also evaluation between the members and peer and professional consultation were done to raise the credibility of this study. The results were as follows: The characteristics of physical education as elementary school teachers perceived were categorized into the goal of physical education, the role of elementary school teachers, the role of elementary school teachers who teach physical education. The participants of this study recognized the goal of physical education to actualize the goal of elementary education as educational material, so through the physical education, teachers put importance on the basics/basis of life education, and also they expected for the children to enjoy the physical education activities both in class times and everyday life naturally. These sorts of recognition can be interpreted that educational objectives of elementary physical education is significantly different from secondary physical education`s. In addition, teachers thought the importance of the skill on physical education. but they thought it`s more important that integrating viewpoint with extensive experience and subject characteristic.

        소규모 학교 체육전담교사의 역할 탐색

        이 연구는 소규모 초등학교 체육전담교사의 경험을 통해 소규모 초등학교의 체육 수업과 이들의 역할을 살펴봄으로소규모 초등학교의 체육수업 실태를 이해하고 소규모 초등학교 체육 활성화를 위한 개선 방향을 탐색하는데 목적이있다. 경상북도의 소규모 초등학교인 Y초등학교와 U초등학교에 근무하는 두 명의 체육전담교사를 연구참여자로 선정하였으며 이들을 대상으로 심층면담과 문서자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 귀납적인 과정으로 분석되었다. 연구 결과는 ‘동전의 양면’과 ‘또 다른 역할’이라는 2가지 주제로 나타났다. 먼저 동전의 양면은 소규모 초등학교의체육전담교사의 업무수행과 개별지도 및 어려운 수업환경에 관한 것이며, 또 다른 역할은 체육수업의 외적인 부분에서 체육전담교사에게 부여되는 보모 및 지역의 체육지도자 역할에 관한 것이다. 이러한 결과는 소규모 초등학교의 체육전담교사의 실상을 이해하고 체육전담교사의 운영에 관한 자료로서 유용할 것이다. The purpose of this study were to understand the realities of physical education in small elementary schools and to explore the improvement direction for vitalizing physical education by examining the role of a physical education teacher through the experiences of small elementary school physical education teachers. To achieve this purpose, two teachers of small elementary schools in Gyeongsangbuk-do, Y and U, were selected as participants. The collected data through in-depth interviews and documents was analyzed by the inductive analysis. The results were divided into the duties of small elementary school physical education teacher, the small size of their physical education class and the other roles small elementary P.E teachers play. First, the small elementary school physical education teachers tried to realize their values on physical education. But they had difficulties to do so because of many school task that they’ve been given. Second, as the classes were small and had a family-like atmosphere, the physical education teachers was able to teach students individually and gave them feedback easily. But they had difficulty in managing the physical education curriculum normally because of small class size and the lack of indoor physical education facility. So, they tried to find out appropriate course work and teaching-learning method. Third, the physical education teachers also played the role of parents for their students in school. They did not only volunteer for the community physical activities but also became a physical education leader of the community.

        좋은 체육수업에 대한 초등 예비교사의 인식 분석

        이 연구는 초등 예비교사들이 좋은 체육수업에 대해 어떠한 인식을 갖고 있는지를 분석하고, 분석 결과를 바탕으로 어떠한 방향으로 초등 예비교사 교육을 할 것인지에 대한 자료를 제공하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 G교육대학교에서 2022년 3월부터 2023년 8월까지 초등체육 관련 강의를 수강했던 약 200여 명의 학생들을 연구참여자로 하여, 초등체육 관련 강의를 진행하면서 학생들이 ‘토의-범주화-결과물 작성-발표’의 과정을 통해 발표한 자료와 학과별 집단 심층면담을 통해 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 수집된 자료를 분석한 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 좋은 체육수업에 대한 초등 예비교사들의 인식에서 가장 많이 제시된 중범주는 ‘안전’이었으며, 제시된 빈도에 따라 ‘흥미․재미’, ‘인성․가치․태도’, ‘건강․체력’, ‘준비된 수업’, ‘함께 참여’, ‘융합․통합, 협동’, ‘기능, 다양한 경험 제공, 지식’, ‘실용성, 목표, 자아발견’순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 좋은 체육수업에 대한 초등 예비교사들의 인식을 범주화한 결과 ‘시대적 상황 반영’, ‘교육적 경험 투영’, ‘체육에 대한 인식 확장’, ‘체육 고유의 영역’, ‘교육적 역량 함양’, ‘모두 함께하는 체육’, ‘개인적 성장과 실용성’으로 도출되었다. 좋은 체육수업에 대한 올바른 인식은 좋은 체육수업을 가능하게 한다. 따라서 초등 예비교사들이 좋은 체육수업을 할 수 있도록 지도 방향을 설정하기 위해서는 초등 예비교사들이 어떠한 인식을 갖고 있는지를 파악하는 것이 우선 되어야 한다. The purpose of this study is to analyze how pre-service elementary school teachers perceive good physical education class and to provide data on the direction of how to train pre-service elementary school teachers based on the analysis results. 200 students who took elementary physical education-related lectures at G University of Education from March 2022 to August 2023 were chosen as participants in this study. Data were collected by examining the materials presented by students at elementary physical education-related lectures at G University of Education through the process of ‘discussion-categorization-result preparation-presentation’ and conducting in-depth interviews to participants in different departments. The results of analyzing the data collected are as follows. ‘Safety’ was found to be the most frequently presented middle area as an element of good physical education class recognized by pre-service elementary school teachers, and according to the frequency of presentation, ‘interest and fun’, ‘personality, value, and attitude’, ‘health and physical strength’, ‘prepared class’, ‘to participate together’, ‘convergenceㆍintegration, cooperation’, ‘to provide functions and various experiences, knowledge’, and ‘practicality, goals, and self-discovery’ were found in order. As a result of categorizing elementary school pre-service teachers’ perception of good physical education class, ‘reflecting the current situations’, ‘projecting educational experiences’, ‘character education through physical education’, ‘the unique areas of physical education’, ‘cultivating educational competencies’, ‘physical education for all’, ‘extending the perception of physical education’, ‘learning-oriented physical education’, and ‘the ground of personal practicality’ were found. The correct perception of good physical education classes makes good physical education classes possible. Therefore, In order to set the direction of teaching so that pre-service elementary school teachers can have good physical education classes, it should be a priority to understand what kind of perceptions pre-primary teachers have.

        초등 체육전담교사가 통합체육 수업에서 겪는 딜레마에 관한 근거이론적 접근

        This study aimed to analyze and examine the dilemma Elementary Physical Education Teachers face in Integrated Physical Education Classes by applying the grounded theory method. Through theoretical sampling, ten teachers in charge of integrated physical education and elementary school physical education in B city were selected as research participants. As a result, by applying the grounded theory method of Strauss and Corbin (1997), concept derivation and paradigm were constructed, and a circumstantial model was developed. As a result of open coding, 163 concepts were derived. This was again composed of 28 sub-categories, and the sub-categories were finally categorized into 14 upper categories. In the axial coding stage, it was found that a focal phenomenon called the 'dilemma of integrated physical education' and 'dilemma of physical education' occurred. At this time, 'awareness of integrated sports' and 'appropriateness of the current curriculum for integrated physical education' as causal conditions were mediated by 'policy of physical education' and 'emphasis on human rights' as contextual conditions. As intervening conditions, 'support of students with disabilities' and 'cooperative teachers and incentives' appeared. The strategic action/interaction, 'reorganization of curriculum for integrated physical education', and 'class cooperation through disability and non-disability class" were shown. The consequences were 'resolving disability/non-disability conflicts', 'existence of disability/non-disability conflicts', 'solution of the dilemma', and 'teaching life". In the selective coding stage, constructed a storyline, and a circumstantial model was found accordingly. Finally, based on the analyzed data, the necessity of reorganizing the curriculum and improving the treatment of physical education teachers was suggested by proposing an integrated education network community. were suggested. 본 연구는 근거이론 방법을 적용하여 초등학교 체육전담교사가 통합체육을 실시하면서 현장에서 겪게 되는 딜레마의 의미를 탐색하고 해결할 수 있는 방안을 제시하는데 필요한 기초자료를 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이론적 표본추출(Theoretical sampling)을 통해 B시에 소속되어 있는 초등학교 체육전담교사이면서 통합체육을 담당하는 교사 10명을 연구 참여자로 선정하였다. 결과는 Strauss와 Corbin(1997)의 근거이론 방법을 적용하여 개념 도출 및 패러다임을 구성하고 상황모형을 개발하였다. 개방코딩 결과 163개의 개념이 도출되었다. 이를 다시 28개의 하위 범주로 구성하였으며, 하위범주는 14개의 상위 범주로 최종 범주화하였다. 축코딩 단계에서는 ‘통합체육딜레마’, ‘체육전담 딜레마’라는 중심현상이 발생한 것으로 나타났다. 이때 인과적 조건으로는 ‘통합체육에 대한 인식’, ‘통합체육에 대한 현행 교육과정 적합성’이 맥락적 조건으로는 ‘체육정책’, ‘인권강조’가 중재적 조건으로는 ‘장애학생지원’, ‘협력교사 및 인센티브’가 나타났다. 작용/상호작용 전략으로는 ‘통합체육수업을 위한 교육과정 재구성’, ‘장애‧비장애 분리수업을 통한 수업협력’이 나타났으며, 결과는 ‘장애/비장애의 갈등 해소’, ‘장애/비장애의 갈등 상존’, ‘딜레마 해소방안’, ‘교직생활’로 나타났다. 선택적 코딩 단계에서 이야기 개요를 구성하고 그에 따른 상황모형을 발견하였다. 마지막으로 분석 자료들을 토대로 초등학교 체육전담교사의 통합체육수업 운영 과정에서 겪는 딜레마를 해소하기 위한 교육과정 재구성과 통합교육네트워크 공동체를 제안하고 체육전담교사의 처우개선의 필요성에 대해 시사하였다. 주요어 : 초등 체육전담교사, 통합체육수업, 딜레마, 근거이론
