한국의 의사양성 교육체계에 대한 고찰

This study is a study on the medical education system in Korea for nurturing doctors. The education system of Korea Medical University and Graduate School of Medicine, which is a doctor's training institution in Korea, was studied. Korea's doctor training is currently conducted by a total of 40 institutions with 37 medical schools, 3 medical graduate schools. Korea's medical school has long maintained a single six-year medical school system consisting of medical school and medical school, but since the medical school system was introduced since 2005, it has continued to be a system of parallel systems between medical school and medical school. Therefore, currently, medical education for the nurturing of doctors in Korea is maintained for 6 years in medical school and 4 years in medical school. There are a total of 3076 students enrolled in medical schools and medical graduate schools in 2020. Based on enrollment in 2020, more than 3000 doctors can be officially trained per year. The medical school curriculum is moving from a subject-based curriculum to a outcome-based curriculum, and it is continuously improving to cope with the changing medical environment and to meet the needs of various societies. In addition, despite the considerable burden of medical education evaluation and certification, we are making continuous efforts for qualitative growth by voluntarily requesting evaluation and certification. In response to changing social needs and circumstances, medical schools and related institutions will have to continue their efforts to cultivate good doctors. 본 연구는 의사양성을 위한 한국의 의학교육체계에 대한 연구로 한국의 의사양성 기관인 한국 의과대학, 의학전문대학원의 교육체계에 대하여 연구하였다. 한국의 의사양성은 현재 의과대학 37개, 3개의 의학전문대학원, 총 40개의 학교에서 이루어지고 있다. 한국의 의과대학은 오랫동안 의예과와 의학과로 이루어진 6년 학제의 의과대학 단일 학제를 유지하였지만, 2005년부터 의학전문대학원 제도가 도입되면서 의과대학과 의학전문대학원의 병행 학제 체제로 지속되고 있다. 따라서 현재 한국의 의사양성을 위한 의학교육은 의과대학 6년 학제와 의학전문대학원 4년 학제가 유지되고 있다. 의과대학과 의학전문대학원의 2020학년도 입학생은 총 3,076명이며, 2020년 입학생 기준 공식적으로 한 해 3,000명 이상의 의사가 양성될 수 있다. 의과대학 교육과정은 교과중심 교육과정에서 성과중심 교육과정으로 나아가고 있으며, 변화되는 의료환경에 대처하고 다양한 사회의 요구에 부합하기 위해 지속적으로 개선되고 있다. 또한 한국의 의과대학은 평가인증이 상당한 부담임에도 불구하고, 자발적으로 평가인증을 요청하여, 질적 성장을 위한 지속적인 노력을 하고 있다. 변화하는 사회적 요구와 환경에 따라 의과대학과 관련 기관들은 좋은 의사를 양성하기 위한 노력을 지속해야 할 것이다.

알트메트릭스를 이용한 SSCI 등재 한국 저널의 온라인 소셜 플랫폼에서의 영향력에 관한 연구

The present study investigated Korean journals listed in SSCI to suggest an alternative method of research evaluation. In particular, the most mentioned journal in online social platforms was selected to examine the relationship in the perspective of quadruple helix, focusing on knowledge, innovation, consensus, and government platforms. The results revealed that Psychiatry Investigation was the most mentioned in the social platforms. The number of the total mentions of each journal was positively related to the number of the articles, mentioned articles, and social platforms with mentions. The articles published in Psychiatry Investigation were the most mentioned in Mendeley, followed by social media such as Twitter, Facebook, and blog. In addition, mentions in Mendeley showed the positive relationship with those in social media, Wikipedia, and policy documents. Twitter and Facebook had the positive relationship with each other, while blog had the positive relationship not only with social media but also with news, Wikipedia, and policy documents. It is expected that this study will show the case of the alternative measurement of Korean research impact. 본 연구는 전통적 학술 평가 방식을 보완하는 새로운 방식을 제시하고자 학술지를 알트메트릭스 관점에서 살펴보았다. 특히 온라인 플랫폼에서 인용이 많이 된 한국 학술지를 선정하여 쿼드러플헬릭스 관점에서 학술, 소셜 미디어, 뉴스 및 위키피디아, 정책문서에서의 인용빈도가 어떻게 되는지 살펴보고 매체 별 상관성을 조사하였다. 첫째, 한국 저널의 알트메트릭스 성과는 어떠한지 살펴보고 영향력이 높은 저널을 선정하여 조사하였다. 둘째, 알트메트릭스 성과의 분야별 인용 빈도는 통계적 상관성이 있는지 살펴보았다. 셋째, 알트메트릭스 영향력이 높은 한국 저널의 알트메트릭스 분야별 빈도의 통계적 상관성을 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, Psychiatry Investigation 저널이 소셜 플랫폼 상에서 가장 많이 인용된 것으로 나타났고 각 저널의 인용 수는 게재논문 수, 피인용 논문 수, 논문이 인용된 플랫폼 수와 강한 상관관계를 나타냈다. 둘째, Psychiatry Investigation 저널 논문은 멘들레이에서 가장 많이 인용되었고 다음으로 트위터, 페이스북, 블로그 등의 소셜 미디어에서도 인용이 되었다. 셋째, 멘들레이는 소셜 미디어 및 위키피디아, 정책문서와 같은 여러 플랫폼들과 논문 인용에 있어 상관성을 보였다. 한편, 트위터와 페이스북 간에 상관성이 있었고 블로그는 뉴스, 위키피디아, 정책문서와도 상관성을 보였다. 본 연구를 통해 한국 저널의 영향력을 평가하는 데 새로운 방향을 제시할 것으로 기대한다.

This study aimed to identify curriculum gaps and a pilot study to provide the programs for selection during clerkship. Over the course of a clerkship, students analyze the current level and the needs level of TLO (terminal learning objectives) based on the book "Learning outcome of basic medical education: Scientific concept and principle-centered." We conducted a needs assessment utilizing a t-test, Borich Needs Assessment, and the Locus for Focus model. In the investigation of the needs level, the levels of the musculoskeletal and respiratory systems were relatively high and in the investigation of the current level, the levels of the digestive and musculoskeletal systems were relatively high. This study is expected to contribute to reasonable decision-making by utilizing various methods of analysis and providing in-depth results of needs analysis in designing clerkship curriculum.

Acute Generalized Exanthematous Pustulosis

Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis(AGEP) has symptoms of abrupt onset of a widespread pustular eruption on an erythematous. base. Most cases appear to be related to drug reactions, mainly antibiotics, but viral infections and hypersensitivity to mercury may cause AGEP. The essential features of AGEP include. (1) numerous(several dazen) small((5mm), mostly non follicular pustules arising on a widespread erythema:purpura and target-like lesions may be associated; (2) histology showing intraepidermal or subcorneal pustules associated with one or more of the following.clermal edema, vasculitis, perivascular eosinophils, or focal necrosis of keratinocytes; (3) fever (over 38C); (4) neutrophilia, and (5) acute evolution with spontaneous resulotion of pustules within 15 days. We report a case of AGEP which presented with widespread tiny pustules on the whole body except the face, palms and soles. There were petechia, purpura, and vesiculobullous lesions on the axilla, popliteal fossa and upper abdomen. A biopsy specimen from a pustule showed subcorneal pustules with perivascular polymorphous cellular infiltration, marked dermal edema and necrotic keratinocytes. There was complete resolution of the lesions within 10 days. (Kor J Dermatol 1997;35(l): 160-164)

비주얼 메타포를 활용한 정보 시각화 연구 - 나이젤 홈즈의 인포그래픽을 중심으로 -

본 연구는 정보 시각화의 다양한 접근법에 대한 고 찰을 토대로 정보 시각화에서 비주얼 메타포의 활용 을 살펴봄으로써 그에 따른 정보 전달의 효율성을 논 하고 정보 시각화의 표현방법에 대한 확장을 도모하 는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 정보 시각화에 대한 전반적인 이론적 체계를 갖추었고, 서술적 접근 법을 근거로 비주얼 메타포의 활용에 관한 구체적인 사례 분석을 위해, 영국의 그래픽 디자이너 나이젤 홈즈의 이미지형 인포그래픽으로 분석대상을 한정하 여 정보 시각화 체계와 표현적 특성을 분석하였다. 분석결과를 정리하면, 정보 시각화에서 시각적 연상 을 통해 커뮤니케이션을 하는 비주얼 메타포의 활용 은 드러내는 것과 내재되어 있는 것이 다르지만, 공 통적 이해관계 속에서 새로운 의미로 이어져 창의성 을 발현시킴을 파악할 수 있었다. 이러한 효과적인 결과를 도출해 내기 위해서는, 탄탄한 정보 콘텐츠의 구조와 스토리텔링을 근거로 정보 콘텐츠의 의미와 핵심 메시지를 풍부하게 전달함으로써 콘텐츠의 본질 과 진의를 드러내 주어 정보 수용자로 하여금 적극적 으로 정보를 해석하고 탐색할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 또한 비주얼 메타포를 단순히 유머와 재미를 위한 장 치로만 활용하기보다는 정보 콘텐츠에 적합한 시각적 메커니즘과 맥락적 특성을 반영한 정보 해석의 사고 력이 어떻게 연계되고 상응되는지를 고려한다면 더욱 효율적인 정보 시각화로의 접근이 가능할 것이다. The object of this study is to examine the use of visual metaphors in information visualization based upon various approach methods of information visualization and to understand the effectiveness of information delivery. In addition, it focused on expanding the expression method of information visualization through the use of visual metaphors in information visualization. This study examined the overall theoretical system on information visualization. For the case analysis of the use of visual metaphors, the subject of analysis was limited to the static infographics designed by Nigel Holmes, who is a British graphic designer focused on information design, and the information visualization system and the characteristics of expression were analyzed. As a result of this study, although what is revealed and what is implicated differ in the use of visual metaphors that communicate through visual association in information visualization, the use of visual metaphors led to new meanings in a common interest, leading to creativity. To derive such an effective result, it is necessary to reveal the essence and truth of the contents by richly delivering the meaning and core message of the information contents based on the solid structure and storytelling of the information contents so that users can actively interpret and explore information. Moreover, if we consider how visual metaphors relate to the visual mechanism suitable for information content and the thinking ability of information interpretation that reflects contextual characteristics rather than using only as a device for humor and fun, it can lead to more efficient information visualization.
